HEAVENLY SIGNS THAT THE RAPTURE COULD OCCUR DURING THE AUTUMN FEASTS IN 2018!

The Feast of Trumpets, 9 Days of Awe, the Day of Atonement, and the week-long Feast of Tabernacles are coming up, and this is what they mean for Born Again Saints! Yom Teruah or the Feast of Trumpets is also known as Rosh Hashanah or the "first of the year". It is the first of the Autumn Feasts, and it is supposed to fall on the 1st day of the 7th Hebrew month called Tishri. However, it is not the first day of the Israelite Sacred Year, but of the Jewish Civil Year. The ten days starting with the Feast of Trumpets and ending with the Day or Atonement or Yom Kippur are known as the Days of Awe (Yamim Noraim) or the Days of Repentance. In Judaism, this is a time for serious introspection, a time to consider the sins of the previous year and repent before Yom Kippur so that one's name will still be found written in the Book of Life.

For Born Again believers that love and follow Yahshua's commandments, and therefore have the assurance of the Seal of the Holy Spirit guaranteeing that their names have been written in the Book of Life, it is not a time to mourn, but a time of joyful anticipation of the coming Catching Away or Harpazo/Rapture - also known as our Blessed Hope, which could be tied to anytime during the 22 days between the Feast of Trumpets/Rosh Hashanah and the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot.

This year, though this 20 day Rapture Watch period will fall between the evening of September 9-10th and September 30th this year per the most widely accepted Jewish Calendars, it appears that - per the Signs in the Heavens - this 20 day period will actually fall between the evening of October 10th and the evening of October 30th, 2018. So we have a long Rapture Watch period this autumn that will extend all the way to the end of October this year.

In this article, I want to show why I think the actual Feast of Trumpets of 2018 may begin on the night of October 10th, 2018, and last for two days - through to sunset on October 12th. My conclusion is based on the Signs in the Heavens rather than on the Feast of Trumpets marked on the Orthodox Online Jewish Calendar, which shows that the Feast of Trumpets will fall on September 10th and 11th, 2018. But the New Moon likely won't be visible on the night of September 9th, or early morning on September 10th either. Because the Moon will be too close to the Sun and the New Moon crescent will not be visible, September 10th probably won't be the first day of the Feast of Trumpets.

Before I explain more about why I feel this way, let's take a quick look in Scripture for the main verse that tells us why these Heavenly Signs are so important for us to look at. The disciple of Yahshua or Jesus named Luke, a physician who wrote the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts, recorded Yahshua as saying the following to His disciples shortly before His crucifixion and resurrection:

“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” ~ Luke 21:25-26 

This portion of Luke Chapter 21 and all of that chapter parallels Yahshua's End Time Signs Discourse in Chapter 24 in the Gospel of Matthew. Both of these Gospel chapters say that the End Times will be marked by unusual Signs in the Sun, Moon and stars. Fascinatingly, as the graphic below documents, there are many Heavenly Signs that God has shown me over the past 12 years, and in retrospect, I now believe that the Heavenly Signs between 2010 and 2019 appear to be pointing to the Feast of Trumpets in 2018 as a possible time for the Rapture or catching away of the saints. This is because of the unusual set of Triple Blood Moons that mark both 2011 and 2018 on the graphic below. Furthermore, 2018 is a Jubilee year, and the Rapture is also thematically tied to the cancelling of debts and the rest from work associated with the Jewish year of Jubilee:

According to the Jewish Calendar. the Feast of Trumpets will be on September 10th and 11th, 2018, followed by Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement on September 19th, and the week-long harvest Feast called the Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot five days later - from September 24th to September 30th, 2018. Keep in mind here that there is also an eighth day of Assembly marking the close of the Autumn Feasts on October 1st 2018. Of these, the Feast of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement are the most likely ones that will mark the Rapture, or the escalation of world events that will rapidly lead to the Rapture of the Bride of Christ and the Wise Virgins. As shown in the extremely detailed proposed Tribulation Timeline graphic above that I first created and shared in mid 2013, the Signs in the Heavens that I have found to be most highly significant span across all of these years.

An interesting thing to note here is that, at one point, I was convinced that the Feast of Trumpets that fell on September 9th and 10th, 2010 was the one that would mark the Rapture of the Bride of Christ, and that the signs that followed this date were marking the supposed seven years of the Great Tribulation (which is actually only three and a half years). But instead, it appears to have marked the Tribulation period that was to come before the Great Tribulation that Yahshua or Jesus talked about in the message to His Apostles that is recorded in the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 24.

Remarkably, this time period has seen a dramatic escalation in ALL of the heavenly and earthly signs that Yahshua told His disciples to watch for as the Sign of the Son of Man approached that would mark when the Rapture would take place. There have especially been many signs in nature in the form of dramatic increases in earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, violent storms, tornadoes, floods, fires, sinkholes, insect, bird, fish and animal deaths, and fireballs spotted in the heavens. There has also been much distress among the nations, with increased terrorism, increased lawlessness, and much wickedness in high places being exposed.

In retrospect, as I reflect on all the heavenly signs I've reviewed over the years with detailed explanatory graphics like the ones shown in this article, many of them have shown that the promised Rapture of the Saints is near, and these promises in the heavens have blessed the saints and kept them hopeful. To see a clear breakdown of the signs and what they mean, please read the text on the full color graphics in this article, as they are very interesting, and well worth pondering. Nonetheless, there has been some discouragement too.

For example, many born again saints believed that the Sign of the Woman Clothed With The Sun on September 23rd, 2017, which appeared a day after Yom Teruah or the Feast of Trumpets in 2017 (See the graphic below) was the Sign of the Son of Man that would immediately appear in the sky before the Rapture. But alas, it was not the full revelation of it. Personally, I think the Sign of the Son of Man is a series of heavenly signs, and that they began in earnest in 2010. However, the Sign of the Woman Clothed With The Sun of September 23rd was a powerful sign that the return of Yahshua to retrieve His Bride and glorify her in the Rapture is very near.

Based on my findings, which are partly shown in the Starry Night Pro Screenshot graphic at the beginning of this article, it's possible that the Signs in the Heavens on October 11th, 2018 could also mark the timing of the Rapture, or of events that will rapidly lead to it. This year, the online Jewish Calendar at Hebcal.com has designated September 10th and 11th as Rosh Hashanah or the Feast of Trumpets, which marks the beginning of the Jewish Autumn Feasts. But according to the Signs in the Heavens and the Autumn Equinox, which falls on September 22nd this year, the Feast of Trumpets really should have been delayed until October of this year. Although the Signs in the Heavens for either month are interesting, and could be signaling the coming of the Rapture, October is the month when the Sun will be in Virgo, which signifies the birth of Ancient Israel, as well as the birth of the Messiah or the Man Child of Revelation 12.

Now, because of some Jewish expression clues left in the New Testament, the Rapture is thematically tied to the Feast of Trumpets, which could only be announced when the priests on the Temple Mount sighted the first faint silver of the New Moon, usually just after sunset on the night of the Feast. Remember, Jewish days begin at dusk on the night before. This year, that New Moon will likely not be sighted until the night of September 11th, 2018, as the next graphic in this article below shows:

Traditionally, Rosh Hashanah or the Feast of Trumpets is considered to be the beginning of the year on the Jewish Civil Calendar, although the Jewish Sacred Calendar begins on Nissan 1 in the Spring. However, the Moon is going to be way too close to the Sun to be spotted with the naked eye on the night of September 10th, 2018. In fact, according to the above graphic that I created using Starry Night Pro, the Moon won't be far enough away from the Sun to be seen after sunset until the evening of September 11th, 2018. In addition, the Sun will NOT be in the sign of Virgo yet on that date, and this is the Sign that actually should mark the beginning of the Fall Feasts, and NOT Leo, where the Sun will still be in mid September. So I believe that the actual New Moon sliver of a crescent marking the Feast of Trumpets may actually be occurring on October 11th of this year, when the Sun will be squarely in the middle of the body of the heavenly Virgin, as shown in the graphic at the top of this article.

Since the New Moon crescent this September will likely first be visible only on the evening of September 11th, 2018, this would make September 12th and 13th the possible Feast of Trumpets, and the possible D-Days of our Deliverance from this sinful, decaying, dying world. In that regard, I'm so looking forward to our entrance into our Heavenly Father's House in the glorious Kingdom of Heaven to attend the Wedding of the Lamb of God - Yahshua our Bridegroom - to His beloved Bride, the Two-House Church of Judah and Ephraim. However, as I explained earlier, it appears that October should be the actual seventh month on the Jewish Calendar this year rather than September, making October 11th and 12th, 2018 the true Feast of Trumpets. But if the Rapture does occur on September 11th, it will mark the anniversary of September 11th, 3 BC, when Yahshua's Sign of imminent birth - The Woman Clothed With The Sun - appeared in Heaven above Jerusalem, as shown in the graphic below:

This amazing Heavenly Sign on September 11th, 3 BC was announcing that Yahshua was about to be born in Bethlehem of Judea sometime around the three Autumn Feasts, which begin with the Feast of Trumpets and end with the week-long Olive and Grape Harvest celebration of Sukkot or the Feast of Tabernacles. However, in my Language of God Series books that are available to purchase, I surmised that - from careful stellar observations in a professional Astronomy program called Starry Night Pro - that Yahshua may actually have been born on Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement in 3 BC, and Yom Kippur falls ten days after the Feast of Trumpets or Rosh Hashanah.

Interestingly, the Bible also states the fact that all Jubilee years are to be marked as beginning on the Day of Atonement, which is when the names of those who are saved will be signed and sealed in God's Book of Life. In Leviticus 25, verse 9, quoted below, it clearly says that the trumpet of the Jubilee is to sound on the 10th day of the seventh month, which is the Day of Atonement. The quotes from the Book of Revelation that follow the quote from Leviticus show that the Book of Life is a real heavenly document that lists all those who will be saved and granted everlasting life:

Leviticus 25:8-10 ~ “And you shall count seven sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years; and the time of the seven sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years. 9 Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land. 10 And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family.”

Revelation 13:7-9 ~ “It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” 

Revelation 20:11-15 ~ “Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.”

So, since the Jubilee of 2018 started on the Day of Atonement in 2017, it officially will end on the Day of Atonement this year, which is either on September 21st or October 20th this year, depending on whether you want to follow the Jewish Calendar or the Signs in the Heavens, which are pinpointing October as the correct month for the Autumn Feasts to begin. According to a word that the Lord gave to me last year, I also firmly believe that a Day of Atonement is going to mark the end of the Age of Grace, although I was not shown in which year this would be.

Due to this word, it makes sense to me that the Day of Atonement may also mark the Rapture, and the deliverance of those whose names are firmly written in the Book of Life. But even though I think the Day of Atonement at the end of this Jubilee year fits the criteria for being tied to the Rapture best, God our Heavenly Father will choose the day of the Rapture, and it could be at any time, and we know from all the signs that it is soon. Nonetheless, it's clear from the scripture references to trumpets and the last trump in regard to the Rapture in 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 that the Rapture theme fits a time when trumpets figure prominently, as they do in all the Feasts of Israel, but especially in connection with the Feast of Trumpets. As the end of an Age, the Rapture should be tied to trumpets marking the end of a season or year that opens the way to a new season or year, which is what the horns blown on the Feast of Trumpets, and at the beginning and end of a Jubilee year are meant to announce.

Back when I wrote my book "The Language of God in Prophecy" in 2006, I didn't have a full picture of the meaning of the Signs in the Heavens between 2010 and 2019. I only knew that they were important, and might mark the timing of the events leading up to the Great Tribulation, or the Great Tribulation itself. Later on though, because I was told that all of Daniel's Seventieth Week was not speaking about seven literal days, but referring to the seven years of the Great Tribulation, I assumed that these may indeed mark the time of the Great Tribulation for several compelling reasons. But these all proved to be wrong, and this was partly due to one glaring fact. The Book of Daniel and the Book of Revelation both clearly teach that the Great Tribulation is only three and a half years, as shown by being referred to as 1,260 days or 42 weeks in various places in both books.

I have long been aware that Yom Teruah or the Feast of Trumpets has a definite connection to the Rapture of the Church and the Last Trumpet that the Apostle Paul spoke of in reference to the Catching Away or Rapture in 1 Corinthians 15:51-53, where it says:

“Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.”

This year, the last trump reference in the above scripture has even more significance because 2018 is a Jubilee Year, or the Special 50th year in a Biblical Jubilee Cycle that once marked the Forgiveness of all Debts and the Freedom from all Slavery in Ancient Israel, and this special Jubilee ends on the Feast of Trumpets, which the Jews will celebrate beginning at sunset on September 9th, and ending at dusk on September 11th, 2018, since it is traditionally celebrated for two days in a row. But the real Feast of Trumpets may well be in October of this year, which means we should not get discouraged if the Rapture does not occur this September, or even if it does not occur this year. In addition, we need to remember that there have been numerous signs that we are very close to the end of this Age of Grace. So even if we're still here after the Autumn Feasts have passed, we should keep looking up, for our redemption draws ever nearer, and there are many signs that our Blessed Hope in the Rapture will not be in vain!

Year Of Jubilee 2016 Heavenly Sign Promise Pointing To The Wedding Of The Lamb!

In honor of the two prophetically important End Time Heavenly Signs that mark the end of this special 2016 Jubilee Year, I have created this article, which contains a series of graphics depicting these Heavenly Signs, and a detailed explanatory text. Together, they describe the meanings of these two Signs in the Heavens, which appear to be heralding the Second Coming of Christ to retrieve His Bride, and the Wedding of the Lamb in Heaven. Although there is no way to know if these Signs mean that the Wedding of the Lamb is at the door or not, many believers are hoping that the Rapture will occur before the end of this Year of Jubilee on Rosh Hashanah or the Jewish New Year, which the Jews will celebrate beginning on the evening of October 2nd, 2016. The first graphic that I have posted above this paragraph depicts the Jupiter and Venus Conjunction in the Sign of Virgo the Virgin on August 27th, 2016.

On August 27th, 2016, beginning at about 7:40 pm, when the Sun was low enough below the Western horizon, an amazing sight could be seen. This was Jupiter, the Planet tied to Christ as a Suffering Servant and Savior, and Venus, symbolizing Christ as the Light of The World and the Morning Star, in a very close conjunction next to the star Zavijava in the head region of Virgo the Virgin. Virgo is a symbol for Miriam, the mother of Christ, and is also a symbol for the Purified Bride of Christ. In addition, Mercury, the planet symbolizing the Prophets of God recording a prophetic Word, was very close to the other two planets. This points to the high prophetic importance of this End Time sign.

It is believed by some that the Star of Bethlehem was a conjunction of Jupiter and Venus. However, it is not likely since conjunctions don't last long enough. As I have shown in my book "The Language of God in the Universe", which chronicles the godly spiritual meaning of the Mazzaroth or Zodiac, the Star of Bethlehem was followed for a long time before it settled over Bethlehem. At that time, it was the planet Jupiter alone that most likely served as the wandering star that came to be called the Star of Bethlehem at the time of Yahshua or Jesus' birth, which was sometime between the Feast of Trumpets on September 11th, 3 BC and the week long Feast of Tabernacles, beginning on September 26th, 3 BC. In fact, in the aforementioned book, I also showed how Yahshua was likely born on the Day of Atonement, which is five days before the Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot, and that He was likely born inside a Sukkot booth rather than a manger at that time.

Now, it is important to know that it takes one year for Jupiter to pass through one sign of the Zodiac, and it goes into retrograde motion on a yearly basis in the sign it is in. As it does, Jupiter appears to draw a slow circle in each sign, and it likely went into retrograde motion over Bethlehem, and appeared to stand still over it for a week or more. At that time, it could also have moved into conjunction with another planet or bright star, making it appear even more brilliant than normal.

In fact, there were many conjunctions of various planets, including Jupiter and Venus, both before and after September of 3 BC, and all of these figured as signs alerting the Magi that a significant event on God's prophetic calendar was about to occur. This is also true of this current  time period in history, as there have been three conjunctions of Jupiter and Venus alone in the past two years that mimic the ones that occurred before and after Christ's birth in September of 3 BC that occurred on August 12th, 3 BC in Leo, and on June 17th, 2 BC in Leo.

Just as in ancient times, when there were many conjunctions of other bright planets and stars before and after the most likely time of Yahshua or Jesus' birth, there have been many conjunctions before and after the Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014 and 2015, which had four Blood Moons occurring on the first day of the week long Jewish Feasts of Passover and Tabernacles in both years. Though this August 2016 conjunction between the two brightest planets in our Solar System as viewed from Earth did not occur in Leo, the sign of the Lion of Judah, the last two in 2015 did. These were on June 17th, 2015 and October 26th, 2015. Fascinatingly, this latter date was exactly two weeks after a Heavenly Sign that I believe is the actual Sign of the Woman Clothed With The Sun described in Revelation 12, and it occurred in Virgo on October 14th and 15th, 2015. The image below shows this amazing sign. which was very similar to the sign that appeared on September 11th, 3 BC - around the time of Yahshua's birth:

The illustration above shows this sign, and below it is the link to the POEM Ministry Blog article I wrote to show why this Sign was almost exactly like the sign that appeared on Rosh Hashanah on September 11th, 3 BC, which was around the time that Yahshua was born.  A similar but incomplete sign like it will occur on September 23rd, 2017 in Virgo and Leo, but it is not as close in appearance to the sign at Yahshua's birth as the sign that appeared in October of 2015. Prophetic Analysis of the 

Amazing Heavenly Signs in September 2017

Before I move on to explaining the importance of the amazing sign on September 1st, 2016, I want to encourage all those reading this article to read or review all of the articles that I link to in this one, especially if you have never read them before. The reason I am asking is because so many believers are parroting what they have heard from others who are attempting to explain these heavenly signs, but have different interpretations than I do. But, although they have shown little or no proof for these differing interpretations, I carefully show the proof for my conclusions in these complimentary articles that I link to.

Now, I want to share my delight at the next sign, which I had not really examined closely until a week before it was set to occur. Here is my first illustration of this magnificent Wedding Ring or Annular Eclipse as it will appear this September 1st, 2016 as seen from Madagascar that was made with my Redshift 7 software, followed by another even more magnificent rendition of it as seen from Dodoma, Tanzania that was made with Starry Night Pro:

As the illustrations above clearly show, this Annular Solar Eclipse will occur on September 1st, 2016 in the Sign of Leo the Lion of Judah. At that time, the New Moon representing the hidden Bride of Christ will cover the Sun signifying Yahshua as the Sun of Righteousness in Leo the Lion, which depicts the Bridegroom and King of Judah. The illustrations show how this Annular or "Wedding Ring" Style Eclipse will appear as seen from Dodoma, the capital of Tanzania, and from Madagascar, in the Indian Ocean.

Meanwhile, unseen on the Earth due to the Sun being high in the sky, the planet Jupiter, which is tied to Christ as a Suffering Servant, Venus symbolizing Christ as the Morning Star, and Mercury, the symbol of fulfilled prophecy, will form a triangle of powerful Witnesses to the Wedding. This triangle of planets will occur in Virgo, symbolizing Christ's Purified Bride. This is an amazing prophetic sign that appears to be heralding the Wedding of the Lamb in Heaven, especially because the two Zodiac Signs it is occurring in signify Christ as the First and the Last Messiah of mankind, who came as the Alpha or Aleph at His First Advent. and will come as the Omega or Tav (i.e. Cross) at His Second Coming, which is when Christ comes to rescue His Bride in the Rapture - just as the Great Tribulation begins - at the opening of the Sixth Seal.

What's also interesting about this Solar Eclipse is that, although it will not be visible from anywhere in the Northern Hemisphere, its point of greatest totality will be due south of the Sinai desert near Israel. As shown in the diagram below, a line drawn from the eclipse path at its point of greatest totality northward will intersect a part of the Sinai Peninsula where the real Mount Sinai is located - near to the southern deserts of Israel:

Another interesting fact about this Wedding Ring Eclipse is that, if the Torah Calendar is followed, then September 1st, 2016 is the day before the actual date of Rosh Hashanah or the Jewish New Year, which the Torah Calendar indicates will begin on the evening of  September 2nd, 2016 (To Download The Torah Calendar 2016 PDF, CLICK HERE). Fascinatingly, the evening of Friday, September 2nd, 2016 is the start of a seventh day or Saturday Sabbath, which begins on the Friday evening prior, and many people have ad dreams indicating that the Rapture could be on a Sabbath.

So, although no one knows the day or the hour of the Rapture, or the timing of the Wedding of the Lamb in Heaven, these Signs in the Heavens that have appeared near to the end of this Jubilee Year are comforting signs that our Messiah, Bridegroom and King Yahshua has created because He knows that His Bride is watching for Hiss coming. He therefore wants to comfort those born-again saints who are His Bride, and let them know that He has not forgotten them, and that He is coming to rescue them from this wicked world that is ripe for God's Wrath very, very soon.

I Heard A Loud Trumpet Sound Again!

I just remembered something that happened late in the evening on August 26th, and God has moved me to write about it! So here is what happened: I had gone to bed around 1 am on Friday (so it was actually already Saturday, August 27th!), and I was having trouble falling asleep, when I suddenly heard a loud noise! it was like a cross between a trumpet, and the sound of rusty machinery gears trying to move, and it distinctly sounded like it was coming from the West (the direction of the end, or sunset!) since I heard it loudest coming from outside of my angled, northwest-facing bedroom window!

When I heard this sound, I also heard my husband wake out of a sound sleep because he heard it too, and I said aloud "What the heck was that?", to which Steve was silent, since he had no clue. It repeated a second time after that, and then a third time where it was much shorter and quieter, and then it stopped, and we both finally fell asleep. But since I didn't get up and write what happened down when it happened, I forgot about it until now!

It was the same exact sound that I have heard on numerous videos on YouTube from all around the world over the past few years. Though these sounds may have something to do with the CERN experiments deep inside the Earth, it also may be God's hand on the Earth to serve as a warning that the Trumpets blown at the Rapture - and the Sudden Destruction of the world that will accompany it - are getting very near!

With these back-to-back Signs in the Heavens consisting of the Jupiter-Venus Conjunction on August 27th and the Annular Eclipse on September 1st, 2016, as well as the end of Summer at the Autumn Equinox on September 22nd, 2016, and the end of this Jubilee Year approaching on the Feast of Trumpets - I am geared up and ready to leave in the Rapture at any moment. The Feasts of Trumpets, also known as Rosh Hashanah, is either on September 1st and 2nd according to the Torah Calendar, or on October 1st and 2nd according to the Jews. So you should be striving to be ready too - at all times!

To get ready, repent of all known sins, say you're sorry, ask God to forgive you, and forgive everyone who has wronged you just as God forgives you when you repent. Also ask God and those whom you have hurt for forgiveness, and make restitution whenever possible. Hold no bitterness in your heart, and always strive to act with kindness, mercy, love and compassion

We should strive to be this way at all times, no matter how vile others are toward us - but only if there is hope for them. If God tells you to move on and let go of an argumentative person through His Spirit, do not cast your pearls before swine. You do not have to allow yourself to get beaten into the ground by an enemy to know when to retreat! Instead, pray for all these lost souls at a distance, and ask God to help them to repent before the end.

I just wanted to share this in case the Rapture is close, and I feel that it is. Indeed, it could be any day now! So please take time to pray, repent, forgive and tie up all the loose ends in your spiritual and emotional life now!

By the way, this is not the first time I heard this "trumpet mixed with rusty gears" sound! I heard it for the first time a few years ago, during the day time, but coming from the same direction. AMAZING NEWS FLASH! THE RAPTURE COULD BE ON 9-11!

The article explains that the New Moon wasn't sighted until sunset on September 10th, at the beginning of the September 11th Sabbath in Jerusalem. This means that the second day of Rosh Hashanah began at sunset in Jerusalem on Saturday, September 11th, which is equivalent to 10:51 a.m.(CST) on September 11, 2010 for Americans. At that time, the Sabbath ended and the shofars were able to sound.

Could the Rapture therefore be today?

The New Moon was sighted at sunset in Jerusalem on September 10th! This means that today, 9-11, is the second day of Rosh Hashanah!

Are we in for a surprise before tomorrow morning? Could the heavenly Shofar sound tonight when then angels come to take us to be with Yahshua in Heaven?

It’s still possible, so keep looking up!

A Time Clock Tied to Yahshua’s First and
Second Coming and the Rapture of the Church

For many years, God has been revealing to me what the first Gospel that was written at the moment of Creation by Yahshua’s own hand means. In the process, it has been revealed to me that the Gospel in the Stars is in full agreement with the Bible. Not only does it support and uphold the traditional Christian interpretation of the Bible, but it can also be a great help in deciphering the true meaning of various symbols and beasts discussed in the Bible’s prophetic books, especially the Book of Revelation. My books also reveal that the constellation of Orion that appears below and between Gemini and Taurus in the heavens is one of the most Messianic symbols ever created by God, and this is the reason why the Giza Pyramid complex was built - to preserve that knowledge in stone for all posterity until the end of time!

As many people who have been following my ministry for a long time also know, I have been teaching that a Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the saints will likely occur on or before the December 21st, 2010 Winter Solstice. However, I also cautioned that the first Rapture may not be before the Tribulation begins but somewhere within the first two years of the Tribulation period, when the world is still living in relative peace and safety compared to what will be the case in the last half of the Tribulation.

However, in the Spring of 2010, God led me to study Scriptures that reveal that there may be another Rapture in the middle of the Tribulation period. In this article, I am now going to share another amazing revelation that the Holy Spirit has given to me that is tied to the causeways leading eastward from the pyramids at Giza and may well be meant show when Yahshua would arrive both at His First and Second Coming.

First, let’s focus on the illustration below, which shows why the Celestial line-up on the first night of the Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot on September 22nd, 2010 looks highly promising as a sign that Yahshua’s coming in the Rapture could be around that date. On the other hand, it may also merely be a sign that the Rapture is coming and will be very soon - perhaps within the next year or two:

Looking at this illustration, note that the planet Jupiter (representing Yahshua) and Uranus (signifying the Bride of Christ with her five virgin attendants) will move into a second conjunction over the Ephraimite Fish of Pisces over Pegasus. Furthermore, the Full Moon, which can indicate the readiness of the Bride for the Wedding, will also briefly move into conjunction with these planets. Fascinatingly, this is not only on the first day of Tabernacles but also the day of the Autumn Equinox, which occurs at dawn on September 22nd!

Oddly, there is a Total Lunar Eclipse on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles on October 8th, 2014 when the Full Moon is in Pisces (Israel) and in conjunction with the planet Uranus indicating the Bride of Christ. In my Armageddon Radio Shows, I discussed this October 8th Lunar Eclipse as a sign that the Mid-Tribulation Rapture could occur around then. So maybe there IS something to be said for a Rapture on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles this year too. We shall soon see, but if not, there are other dates coming up that hold promise in 2011 and 2012 and we should never lose hope.

Now, looking at the causeways of the Pyramids at Giza in the second illustration, which are tied to timing the coming of Yahshua, it is interesting to note that the so-called Pyramid of Khafre’s causeway points to the Winter Solstice but leads directly to the leonine body of the Great Sphinx, whose gaze is fixed due east in the direction of the Spring and Autumn Equinoxes. Meanwhile, the northerly Great Pyramid at Giza has a causeway pointing toward the Summer Solstice Sun, and the smaller and most southerly pyramid attributed to Menkaure at Giza points directly toward the rising Sun of the Spring and Autumn Equinoxes.

Since it is fairly certain that Yahshua was born near to the time of Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Sukkot and the Autumn Equinox of 3 BC, He had to have been conceived around Chanukah or the Winter Solstice of the year prior. Fascinatingly, since life begins at conception, winter was the true season of our Messiah’s first appearing! So it appears that the Khafre Pyramid causeway pinpoints the true date of Yahshua’s first coming. The Winter Solstice marks the point when the day is at its shortest, suggesting that the light of God is also at its lowest. Thus, the longest night of the year is not something believers in Yahshua should celebrate as modern Pagans erroneously do! The celebration of Christ’s arrival at Chanukah or Christmas, however, is a wonderful way to mark the coming of the Light of the World to obliterate the darkness of the winter season!

Since the Winter Solstice marks the time when days are at their shortest, it allegorically communicates that Yahshua first took on mortal flesh during an age of widespread ungodliness and skepticism concerning the miraculous power of God. Also, since most people see Christ as coming into the world at His birth and not at His conception, they have missed that the Magi found Christ in a house in Bethlehem during the Feast of Chanukah over a year after He was born, again tying the arrival and recognition of Christ, the future King of kings to the Winter Solstice and to Chanukah!

Fascinatingly, the Holy Spirit later revealed to me that the three big pyramids at Giza are also a symbol of the three crosses that were erected at Yahshua’s crucifixion. Now, remember that Luke’s Gospel reveals that the two robbers or criminals that were crucified with Yahshua spoke with Him as they hung there dying. One of these robbers was unrepentant and mercilessly mocked Yahshua, while the other believed in Yahshua and repentantly asked to be remembered when Yahshua returned to set up His kingdom (Luke 23:32-43).

As shown in the second illustration above that was taken from my book “The Language of God in History,” the Holy Spirit revealed that the smaller pyramid of Menkaure is tied to the unrepentant robber who was crucified with Yahshua and mocked Him on the Cross. Though believers tend to forget this, Yahshua came to die for repentant and unrepentant sinners, and not only for the sins of the unrighteous but also for those of the self-righteous! As the east-pointing causeway of the Menkaure Pyramid and the gaze of the Great Sphinx at Giza suggests, Yahshua died and rose from the dead for the sins of all mankind near to the time of the Spring Equinox and His birth and all the promises of His Second Coming are heavily tied to the Autumn Feasts of Israel.

So, what then does the causeway of the Great Pyramid that targets the Summer Solstice point to? Well, since the Great Pyramid or Pillar of Enoch is tied to the repentant robber who asked Yahshua to remember him, it suggests that the Great Pyramid is tied to all those who believe that Yahshua is the Messiah and are relying on Him to forgive and remember them when He comes into His future Kingdom ruling over all the Earth! This means the Great Pyramid signifies not only the Body of Christ but the New Jerusalem where the people who make up Christ’s body will one day dwell forever!

If this is so, then it makes perfect sense that the Great Pyramid’s causeway would be pointing to the time of the fullness or completion of the Body of Christ through the Wedding of the Lamb in Heaven! Furthermore, as I repeatedly explained in my short-lived Armageddon Radio Shows, the Jewish calendar marks the beginning of summer with the Feast of Shavuot or Pentecost and ends it with the celebration of Tu B’Av, a little-known Jewish holiday that is centered around love, betrothals, and weddings. More clues targeting summer are hidden in the Song of Solomon in mentions of summer-blooming lilies and in the Book of Ruth. There, the wedding of the Gentile woman Ruth to the Israelite man Boaz occurs at the end of the summer wheat harvest. This suggests that the first Rapture of the Church will be a late spring to late summer event rather than in the autumn. The second Mid-Tribulation Rapture that is revealed in Scripture, however, may occur anytime in the six month window between the Summer and Winter Solstices.

Since summer officially ends on the Autumn Equinox, which in this epoch now falls on September 21st or 22nd, the Rapture should occur on or before then - IF there is to be one this year! If not, then look to next summer anytime between Pentecost/Shavuot and Rosh Hashanah or the Feast of Trumpets - the Feast Days that frame the six months between the March 21st or 22nd and September 21st or 22nd Equinoxes. Since 2011 is tied to Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement, it seems highly fitting that those two little goats that were trapped and rescued on a remote Montana bridge were found just before the Jewish Civil year officially began on September 9th, 2010. Interestingly, Yom Kippur arrives on September 18th this year, which is five days before the Autumn Equinox and the beginning of Sukkot 2010, and it too is a possible Rapture day this year because it falls before the Autumn Equinox.

Could these two Montana goats signifying Jacob/Israel and the Azazel goat sacrificed on Yom Kippur coupled with the three Total Solar Eclipses in 2008, 2009 and 2010 on the First of Av in the middle of a three-week period of Jewish mourning and the three Jupiter-Uranus Conjunctions suggesting the Rapture that occur on June 6th, 2010, September 22nd, 2010 and January 2nd, 2011 be a sign that 2011, or the Jewish year 5771 is the final year that the names of people who are to be taken in any Rapture will be written into the Book of Life? Will the first Rapture occur on the first day of Tabernacles in 2010 or be delayed until the late spring to late summer of 2011 or 2012? Will there only be one Rapture in the middle of the Tribulation in 2014? Only time will tell, but the prophetic insights that Yahweh God has given to me do suggest these possibilities! So do not lose hope and continue to keep watch!

The Menorah has seven branches of candlesticks. Seven is the perfect number for God. Israel celebrates seven feasts:

1. Passover
2. Unleavened Bread
3. First Fruits
4. Pentecost
5. Trumpets (Rosh Hashana)
6. Yom Kippur
7. Feast of Tabernacles

Jesus Christ fulfilled the first four feasts (Spring Feasts) when He came the first time. And He will fulfill the last three feasts (Fall Feasts) when He comes the second time.

1. Passover — Jesus Christ was the Passover Lamb that took away the sin of the world

2. Unleavened Bread — Jesus was sinless. Jesus exchanged His perfection for our sin so that He could present us sinless and perfect to the Holy Father in Heaven.

3. First Fruits — Jesus Christ was the First Fruit after He died and was resurrected He was the first to be resurrected and to be present in Heaven as the First of many to follow through faith in Jesus Christ as their LORD and Savior.

4. Pentecost — Jesus gave His Holy Spirit to the Church when He left. He did not leave us as orphans but left His Holy Spirit in this world to protect, guide, and direct the Church.

5. Trumpets — The next event on God’s calendar is the Rapture of the Church. Of all of the feasts, Rosh Hashana was the one when “no one would know the day nor the hour” because Rosh Hashana occurs on a new moon which shifts in time. We believe the LORD is going to take His Bride the Church into heaven on Rosh Hashana while the world will spin out of control into the Seven Year Tribulation Period. The last three and a half years will be the Great Tribulation Period that will become hell on earth. Meanwhile, in heaven, the Church is celebrating and experiencing the Marriage of the Lamb in heaven (Rev 19, Rev 12:10-12).

6. Yom Kippur — We believe Jesus Christ will fulfill Yom Kippur with the Return of Jesus Christ. At the end of the Great Tribulation Period, Jesus will return with the Saints (His Bride) and Jesus will defeat the AntiChrist and False Prophet. Satan is bound for one thousand years. Jesus Christ sets up his Millennial Reign on Earth and true Justice and Peace will be on Earth. The Earth will be renewed and civilization will grow beyond anything that mankind has seen under the direct guidance and leadership of Jesus Christ (Revelation 20:1-6).

7. Feast of Tabernacles — We believe in a young Earth. We believe that since creation the time that has expired is six thousand years. And for the next thousand years (the seventh thousand years of creation), we believe we will tabernacle with Jesus Christ, God the Father, and Holy Spirit (The Holy Trinity) for one thousand years during the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ on Earth. After that, we will continue to tabernacle with The Holy Trinity for eternity with the creation of a New Heaven and a New Earth (Revelation 21).

My Comment:

This is a truly wonderful list! Thank you so much for posting it. I am going to share it on my wall today in honor of Rosh Hashanah, which began last night according to the traditional Jewish Lunar Calendar.

Btw, many among a small minority of believers who are expecting the Rapture think this Rosh Hashanah may be when it happens. Others think something terrible is going to happen on 9-11 this year that will lead to a national or international revival of faith in Christ and the Rapture won't happen until next year or later.

I am not certain when the Rapture will happen, but think it could happen either this year or next year, depending on God's will. I also think that the Tribulation will definitely begin before this year closes on December 31st. Many among the minority in the Church that do believe in the Pre-Tribulation Rapture also believe that the Tribulation could begin before this year ends.

Regardless of when the Rapture is, I believe that 2011 is tied to the Jewish Feast of Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement in spirit. This is the holiest day of the year on the Jewish calendar, when even non-religious Jews manage to visit their local synagogues to fast and pray to God for forgiveness and to beg for mercy before the throne of Yahweh.

The reason for the mourning leading up to and on the Day of Atonement is the belief among Jews that God has a Book of Life where the names of all those who are deemed righteous enough on Yom Kippur will have their names written therein so that they will be resurrected into everlasting life at the Last Judgment.

Now, in 2004, I had a vision where God's Spirit showed me that the years 2000 through 2010 signified the ten days from Rosh Hashanah to Yom Kippur, with the nine days of awe leading up to Yom Kippur on the Jewish religious calendar as a time of mourning. In addition, I was shown that the day including Yom Kipper and the five days leading up to the Feast of Tabernacles were tied to the Tribulation period. This suggests that God wanted to see many people repenting of their sins and drawing nearer to Him leading up to the Tribulation.

Unfortunately, there has not truly been much repentance or remorse going on among the people of the Church. In fact, the exact opposite appears to be true right now, with many falling into apostasy and grievous error. Over half of the Church in America and around the world can be categorized as the Laodicean Church, with so many who are apostates either preaching and teaching the false Health and Wealth Gospel or another false Gospel demanding Signs and Wonders with no spiritual substance or holiness.

Sadly, however, both false Gospels use a form of witchcraft that relies on Positive Affirmations of Positive Confession, which are basically like incantations or spells, to see results. Though many of these people in the Church will be saved in the end and gain everlasting life based on the efficacy of the sacrifice of Yahshua's perfect shed blood alone, many of them are in danger of losing heavenly rewards consisting of ruling and reigning with Christ for a thousand years. These Illustrations Show "The Orion Code" In Action!


2010: The Illustration above captures the Spiritual Significance of the Heavenly Signs surrounding the True New Moon at dawn on the morning before Rosh Hashanah or the Feast of Trumpets in Jerusalem, Israel on September 8th, 2010.

Note the nearly identical Signs in the Heavens that day when compared to Rosh Hashanah in 2010, including the fact that the first day of Rosh Hashanah as observed by the majority of Jews will fall on a Thursday in both years!

However, note that the true New Moon in both years falls on a Wednesday, in the middle of the week, at the same time that Yahshua died on the Cross so that He could give the Sign of Jonah! This meant that Yahshua had to be dead for three days and three nights just as Jonah was in the belly of the big fish! If this is true, then Yahshua had to have risen from the dead and be seen by Mary Magdalene on early Sunday morning, after which He ascended to Heaven to be presented as the Firstfruits Offering in the Heavenly Temple to Yahweh on the first day of the week during the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

Could these conjunctions of the Sun and Moon on the day before Rosh Hashanah in 2010 and 2017 be a dual "Sign of the Son of Man" that Yahshua Himself said would precede His coming? Furthermore, could the Sign of the Son of Man be meant to appear both before the Pre-Tribulation Rapture in 2010 and at His Second Coming at the end of the Tribulation in 2017?

Is Pointing to Heavenly Signs and Jewish Feasts as Possible Rapture Days a Form of Date-Setting?

This article is being directed to anyone who has had a problem with my enthusiasm in showing that the coming Rapture and Tribulation are tied to various Jewish Feast Days and are also being pointed to by various Signs in the Heavens. Though my excitement over the Rapture has made me suggest certain dates could be tied to it, I've never set any specific dates for this wonderful event over the past year. I did suggest that the Rapture could occur when the Solar Eclipse on July 11th this year happened, but not that it would. I also have seen Rosh Hashanah as a possible Rapture time and have indicated that there may be two Raptures, with one possibly nearer to Pentecost, and one that might be nearer to the Feast of Trumpets or Rosh Hashanah. In addition, I have shown that the Rapture is tied to the summer season that falls between Pentecost and the Feast of Trumpets. Summer is indicated through the summer lilies that are in bloom in the Song of Solomon when the Shunamite woman's Beloved is looking for her among the lilies. It can also be seen in the Book of Ruth when Ruth and Boaz are married at the end of the summer harvest season.

What I have most often done, however, is show that there are many wonderful Signs in the Heavens that Yahshua´s coming is very soon. On my Armageddon Radio Shows, I have pointed out that there has been a Total Solar Eclipse on the 1st of Av over the past 3 consecutive years, and that this is an extremely rare occurrence. I have therefore suggested that it could be a triple allegorical warning that mankind needs to repent of their sins and get things right with Yahweh. This is because the 1st of Av falls during a three-week period of mourning that the Jews keep between the 17th of Tammuz and the 9th of Av every year. Rather than a sign for a specific Rapture day, these triple Solar Eclipses are also a sign that all people need to repent because Yahshua is coming very soon. The triple Jupiter-Uranus conjunctions that began on June 6th this year are a similar triple warning that the Messiah (Jupiter) is coming for His Bride (Uranus) very soon and that the First Rapture probably will occur within the next year since the second of the three Jupiter-Uranus conjunctions will occur just a week after Rosh Hashanah this year, and the third and final one will occur in January of 2011.

Like many others, I have been a strong proponent of this Rosh Hashanah on September 9th and 10th as a likely time for a Pre-Tribulation Rapture if there is to be one. I have also repeatedly said that the prophetic word that was given to me on Palm Sunday in 2010 may have either applied to next year or that it may have been meant to be allegorical rather than literal. After all, my entire ministry is centered around the allegorical meaning of prophetic events, people, symbols and rituals in the Bible. I may have been limiting what God was trying to show me by my own lack of vision at the time the word was given. It has happened to me before. I have had visions and dreams that made no sense to me until much later, when God opened my eyes to understand them.

As a case in point, I had not read the passages in the Song of Solomon that referred to lilies until two months after I had received my prophetic word from God that the Rapture would occur before the summer lily flowers bloomed in my garden. I discovered them when I did a search for any mention of lilies in the Bible to see what I could find this past July. At that time, I found several references to lilies, with the most interesting ones being in the Song of Solomon. I discussed the meaning of these lily passages in the Song and explained what I thought these meant in relation to my vision and accompanying word about the lilies during one of my Armageddon Radio Shows shortly after that.

In regard to my lily vision, a dear friend in the Lord received a word that the lilies might also be a symbol for my ministry, meaning that the Rapture will happen before my Pillar of Enoch Ministry has bloomed or fully reached its potential and completion! In addition, she saw the lilies as good deeds and good words that need to be tended to while God gathers the weeds to be burned. Could this mean I will be one of the 144,000 Witnesses who will instruct people about God´s coming Kingdom during the Tribulation? Adonai Yahshua, if it is Your will, let it be so!

Though I hope the first Rapture will happen before the Winter Solstice on December 21st, 2010 when a stunning and ominous Total Lunar Eclipse over the Messiah constellation named Orion will occur, it could happen as late as December 21st, 2012. If there is to be a second Rapture, it must occur just before or after the Seventh or Last Trumpet is blown in the middle of the Tribulation. There is also a possibility that there will only be one Rapture that will occur Mid-Tribulation.

As was shown fairly conclusively in my book: "The Language of God in Prophecy," the Tribulation period appears to be firmly tied to the years 2011 through 2017. Therefore, if the Rapture is to be Mid-Tribulation, it could occur as late as the autumn or winter of 2014. I have also mentioned this in some of my articles. But I have no doubt that that we should definitely be looking for our Messiah to come for us in the Rapture by the end of 2014, before the Bowls of God's Wrath are poured out. These seven Bowl Judgments will likely be poured out on the Earth between 2014 through the end of 2016, and Yahshua will come to conquer the wicked at the Battle of Armageddon and usher in His Kingdom on Earth between the close of 2016 and the end of 2017.

In the meantime, my message has been and will remain that all of us who love Yahshua need to keep our eyes focused on God and on doing His work until Yahshua comes. We also need to be warning people that the time to Yahshua´s glorious appearing is short and there is little time for those who need to repent to do so before they are left behind to live through the Wrath of God during the last half of the Tribulation. We constantly need to let others know that there will be terrible consequences when the Rapture comes for anyone who does not believe that Yahshua died for and washed away their sins with His shed blood on the Cross. We need to continue to tell others that there will be an awful price to pay for ignoring the obvious warnings seen clearly not only in escalating prophetic world events and rapidly increasing natural disasters but in the many clear Signs in the Heavens that have appeared between 1996 and the present and that will occur through the close of 2017 and beyond.

Until Yahshua comes, I will continue to say Maranatha even while I keep my eyes focused on Him and in doing His work. May we all be found worthy to enter Yahshua´s glorious Kingdom when He comes! Amen and Hallelu-Yah!

Muslim Observance of Ramadan Ends as Jewish Feast of Trumpets Begins!

This is a Fascinating development, one that would add even more impact to the liberal and humanistic world’s celebrations if millions, even billions of believers in Yahshua disappear between September 9th and 11th this year!

Eid Al-Fitr, the celebration at the end of the month-long fast of Ramadan will end when the Muslim authorities officially spot the New Moon that also begins the two-day Jewish Feast of Trumpets or Rosh Hashanah - a highly anticipated possible time for the Rapture!

The Day of Trumpets as a Call for Christian Repentance

This is a traditional blessing that is usually said in greeting on Rosh Hashanah, which means "the Head of the Year," in Hebrew, and is considered to be the Jewish New Year, which always falls on the first day of the seventh month called Tishri on the Jewish Lunar Calendar. It is also known as Yom Teruah, or the Day of Trumpets, which is one of the seven major Jewish Feast Days established by God. Celebrating this day God’s way calls for the ritual blowing of the Shofar or Ram’s horn, which is a type of trumpet fashioned from the actual horn of a ram. As such, the Day of Trumpets is celebrated among Jews and increasing numbers of Christians with the blowing of the Shofar.

Due to its association with the blowing of horns and the coming of the holiest day on the Jewish Calendar - Yom Kippur, or the Day of Atonement - many Christian scholars recognize Rosh Hashanah’s prophetic connection to the Second Coming of Christ and the resurrection of the dead at the Last Trumpet. Still others see its close connection to an event known as the Rapture, or snatching away of the Church before the wrath of God is poured out on the wicked during the prophesied seven-year time of trouble known as the Great Tribulation, which is associated with the Prophet Daniel’s 70th Week, and the future event known as Jacob’s Trouble, which will be a time of great peril for the Jews in Israel.

Though not all churches believe that the Rapture will occur before the end of the Great Tribulation, many do. There are many proofs in the Bible that the Rapture will occur before the suffering of humanity during the Great Tribulation becomes unbearable. Since this Jewish New Year also marks the beginning of a new seven-year agricultural period known as a Sabbatical Cycle, many think it may coincide with the beginning of the Great Tribulation.

Due to this, expectations are high in some circles that the Rapture or secret return of Christ for His Church will occur on or near to the Feast of Trumpets this year, which will begin at the first sighting of the New Moon at dawn on September 30th, though it will officially begin being celebrated on September 29th this year at dusk. So, though my understanding of the prophecies in the Psalms and the Solar and Lunar Eclipses coming up on Jewish holidays over the next decade have led me to believe that the Rapture will not occur until sometime between the beginning of 2010 and the end of 2012, it is always an intriguing possibility to consider and to prepare for that blessed event.

In Jewish Tradition, the Day of Trumpets marks the beginning of the Days of Awe or Days of Repentance, which are the ten days between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Among Jews and Messianics, this ten day period is a time for fasting and serious introspection, when people are called to consider and repent of their sins over the previous year and to ask God for forgiveness before Yom Kippur. On Yom Kippur, with great pageantry and ritual in Temple times, two goats were sacrificed to atone for the sins of all Israel. This event is directly tied to Christ’s sacrificial death on the Cross for our sins, which is also directly tied to the sacrifice of the lamb on Passover.

The fasting and repentance of the Days of Awe are considered necessary because, in Jewish tradition, the Book of Life is officially opened on Rosh Hashanah, as well as the Book of the Dead. Now, while the Book of Life records the names of all those who will be resurrected into everlasting life on Judgment Day, the Book of the Dead records the names of all those who will perish in hell forever. Furthermore, on Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement, both of these books are officially closed again for another year. These truths are echoed in the Book of Revelation:

“He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.” - Rev. 3:5 (NKJ)

“And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” - Rev 20:12, 15 (NKJ)

Because the autumn Jewish holidays are tied to the Second Coming of Christ, Rosh Hashanah has increasingly become an important holiday for Christians, who joyfully await their Savior’s return at any moment. For them, Rosh Hashanah represents the fulfillment of God the Father’s promise of salvation for those who repent and accept His Son as their Messiah and King. It also represents the hopeful expectation among many Christians that Christ will soon return for His Bride the Church to attend the Wedding of the Lamb in Heaven while the Great Tribulation is raging on Earth. The biblical precedent for believing this is the Parable of the Ten Virgins (See Matthew 25:1-13).

In this deeply prophetic parable, five foolish virgin handmaids to a bride awaiting the arrival of her groom have to go out to search for oil for their lamps. Meanwhile, the five wise virgins who brought enough oil for their lamps are present at the bride’s home when the groom arrives at night. For this reason, they are mercifully allowed to accompany the bride to the groom’s home, where the wedding is to take place - all in the traditional Jewish fashion.

Now, this parable has little meaning unless it is seen as an allegorical prophecy pertaining to Christ’s return. When viewed in this way, this prophecy is telling us that half of the people who see Christ as their Messiah are not really prepared for His return to Earth to retrieve his Bride the Church, which is symbolized in the New Jerusalem in the Book of Revelation (Rev. 21:9-11). Meanwhile, half of those who profess to be followers of Christ will be sufficiently prepared to accompany Christ to attend the Wedding Supper, which will occur at His Father’s house in Heaven. So, while those who are left behind will have to endure the seven-year Great Tribulation that corresponds to the seven days in a traditional Jewish wedding celebration, the wedding party will be in Heaven celebrating their salvation in Christ and worshipping Him for those same seven years.

Though Rosh Hashanah has particular importance as a prophetic symbol for Christ’s return for His Bride, however, it is important for Messianics and Christians to remember that Christ could return at any time. For this reason, it is always good to make sure you are living a life that you won’t have to be ashamed of when Christ returns. This means that those who love Christ need to continually call on the Holy Spirit to help them become the loving, forgiving, merciful, compassionate, kind and gentle people that Christ calls all of his saints to be - on every occasion.

Though we can never achieve the perfect nature of Christ on our own merit alone, we can - with the help of the Holy Spirit - approximate His loving-kindness and mercy here on Earth until He comes. That is why Rosh Hashanah is a good time of year to remember to ask God for forgiveness, as well as to humbly pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance. It is also a great time for every Christian to renew their baptismal vows, which are to die to their fleshly sins and to live for Christ instead.
