THE TRUTH ABOUT THE STAR OF BETHLEHEM

seen His Star in the East and have come to worship Him.”

In every age, there are those who shine pure light, and those who obscure it with darkness. But as God designed it, the darkness usually comes first, and then the light. For example, first, there was an Enoch in the exiled, unrighteous line of Cain that built the first city full of mankind's soul-destroying creations. In this city, there were countless places, people, sights and experiences that were meant to lead people away from their connection to God and nature. Since God cursed the ground that Cain tilled in his work as a farmer, his progeny abandoned the countryside and lived in this city where people were led to fill their thoughts with pleasure-seeking and the accumulation of riches instead of being in harmony with God and His Creation, and loving and caring for all the things that God created. This is sadly what the cities that men build still do today, and this is why Abraham sought to find a home in the City of God that He has built for us in Eternity that is called the New Jerusalem.

Second, there was an Enoch in the righteous line of Seth that called people to repentance, and who sought to build something that would esoterically show them the way. This is why I believe that, with inspiration directly from God, Enoch designed the plans for the grand temple to God that we call the Giza Pyramids, which mimic the Belt Stars in the Messianic Sign of Orion. According to the Jewish Historian Josephus, these pyramids were built by Enoch's Sethite followers, who built these sacred pyramids to proclaim Enoch's prophetic messages about God's judgment, forgiveness and redemption on the spot where Enoch was caught up to Heaven. There, they built these magnificent stone pyramids and carved the Sphinx on top of a vast solid rock plateau (the solid rock of truth!) on the shore of the Nile river, and the design and purpose of this site is meant to draw people who seek to unlock its secrets back into a right relationship with God.

One of the things that Orion's Belt does visually in the heavens is point to the most brilliant star in the night sky, the brilliant white star called Sirius. And in this article, I am going to point to Sirius as the only logical choice for the Star of Bethlehem in a literal as well as religious sense. But first, let me give you an overview of my journey of discovery that led me to the conclusions I am going to share for the first time ever in this article.

Over the 25 years that I have been studying Sacred Astronomy and the Gospel in the Stars, I have seen many reports targeting various conjunctions of bright planets as the Star of Bethlehem, and for a while I followed the trend and attached the Star of Bethlehem to the planet Jupiter and its behavior between 3 and 2 BC. I did this on the assumption that the tendency of planets like Jupiter to move slowly in a retrograde motion for an extended period of time had something to do with the star that the Wise Men actually followed because of the extended length of time that they apparently followed it. 

I also collected a great deal of data proving that Yahshua was born around 3 BC that has to do with not only the movements and conjunctions of Jupiter over several years before and after 3 BC, but with the other Signs in the Heavens that were evident between 5 BC and 1 BC. Some of this data was recorded in my Language of God book series, especially the first book in the series that is named "The Language of God in the Universe," and the book is still available for purchase HERE. At 450 pages, this thorough study of Astronomy and the messages hidden within the celestial objects in the heavens surrounding the Earth has been used as a text book by various ministers to teach believers about the historical and prophetic importance of these Signs

But gradually, the early assumptions that I had made about the Star of Bethlehem changed as I learned even more about Astronomy, Middle Eastern history, and Biblical analysis while carefully scrutinized the wording of the account of the Wise Men and the Star of Bethlehem in the first 12 verses of the 2nd Chapter of the Gospel of Matthew. As my knowledge grew, I began to question the assumption that the Star of Bethlehem was an ordinary star or planetary conjunction because they don't last long enough to match the length of time that the Bethlehem Star was visible. That's because the biblical narrative makes it clear that the star that the Wise Men followed was visible for at least three months, which is the length of time it would have taken by camel and horse caravan to travel from Parthia to Judea.

During this time, I learned that the Magi were likely rich court astrologers in service to the King of Parthia, which was the powerful kingdom that formed in the region of modern day Iran after the fall of Persia. I also learned that they were likely schooled in the Israelite knowledge of the meaning of various stars that the Prophet Daniel understood, and that is why they came to see the long awaited Messiah and King of the Jews that Daniel prophesied about. Also, since rich men in Parthia and Arabia at that time travelled on horseback (as shown in the adjacent illustration), the only camels in their caravan were likely used as pack animals. 

Still more revelations came as I was working on my book called "The Language of God in the Universe". At that time, the Holy Spirit stepped in and rocked my world by showing me a direct connection with the esoteric idea that various sacred sites on the Earth are aligned with the Stars in the Heavens in a literal expression of the spiritual concept surrounding the phrase: "as above, so below" or "as in Heaven, so on Earth". Initially, this was when I studied the work of other pioneers in the study of Archeoastronomy that saw a direct connection between the stars of Orion's Belt and the three massive pyramids built at the archeological site near the Nile Delta that was called Giza in Egypt. 

Coupled with the references of the Jewish Historian Josephus that the Sethites were the inventors of Astronomy and the builders of two large monuments connected to their knowledge of the heavens in Mizraim or Egypt, this made it fairly clear that YHWH God and His interactions with the descendants of Seth whom I call the Sethites were very likely behind this correlation of the Giza Pyramids with the Belt Stars of Orion, as shown in the graphic below that has additional information in it that I do not have time to cover in this article, but that is talked about at length in my book "The Language of God in History".

In "The Language of God in History", I delve heavily into the Archeoastronomy of the Bible, and where my desire to learn more about this new area of study came to fruition. In this 800 page, illustrated and indexed research book, I discuss every aspect of the Sirius-Bethlehem Correlation, as well as the Correlation of Orion's Belt with the Pyramids at Giza. As revealed in that book, my biggest breakthroughs in Biblical Archeoastronomy began when I was guided to take a literal print-out of the stars surrounding the Winter Triangle and the constellation of Orion, and match them up with a topographical photographic representation of the Earth's surface surrounding the three pyramids at Giza. What I did was align the three stars in Orion's Belt with the location of the Giza pyramids marked out on the map, as shown below this paragraph. After that, I looked for matches for the other stars with various surrounding locations on the Earth map. 

What I found next was - in my opinion - nothing short of miraculous. This is because the brightest star in the heavens, which is the star Sirius, lined up perfectly with the city of Jerusalem when Orion's three Belt Stars were aligned with the three huge Pyramids located at Giza in Egypt, and Canis Major's little companion dog called Canis Minor is connected to a very interesting site for Mount Sinai that is located in Saudi Arabia - and this is where the Apostle Paul said this Mountain of God is located (See Galatians 4:25).

After this discovery, I did some more research and found out that Sirius is a double star system consisting of the massive white star Sirius A, and a dwarf white star called Sirius B. What's more, the star Sirius B was thought to be the remnants of a larger star than Sirius A that went Supernova, and then shrank down so small that it could no longer be seen without the aid of a telescope. Not only that, but since Bethlehem is a suburb of Jerusalem, Sirius B can be directly connected to the town of Bethlehem. In addition, Sirius B has a 50-year orbit around Sirius A, suggesting that it has been marking off prophetically important Jubilees of 50 years connected to the location of Jerusalem since the dawn of time.

After learning more about Astronomy, it really mystified me how any of the people that speculate on the identity and timing of the Star of Bethlehem could associate it with a mere conjunction of two planets or the alignment of a planet with a star. Because, first of all, planets are not stationary. They move in space, and only stay in alignment with other planets and stars for a very short period of time before moving onward in their journey through the heavens. Furthermore, the biblical narrative tells us that the Wise Men followed the Star that they saw in the East for some time until it appeared to remain stationary above Jerusalem, and thereafter continued moving until it appeared above Bethlehem. Technically speaking, this journey of the Magi took a long time since they had to travel from ancient Parthia by caravan to Jerusalem, and this would likely have taken three months or more by camel and horseback. Sadly, this important fact isn't taken into account by those who assume the Star of Bethlehem was nothing but a conjunction.

Sirius B and the Earth Similar in Size

For these very important reasons, I would venture to guess, without fear of being too far off the mark, that the Star of Bethlehem was and still is none other than the Stars Sirius A and Sirius B - with a particular emphasis on Sirius B, which is comparable in mass to our Earth. A dwarf white star such as Sirius B is considered to be the remains of a large white star that has gone supernova, and there have been various reports that there was a supernova's brilliant light signature visible in the heavens even in the daytime at around the time of Christ's birth. As shown in the graphic here, there is a size correlation between Sirius B and the Earth that has a definite allegorical meaning. Since Sirius B is the remains of a dying star, it signifies the fact that the Earth, though shining some light in a spiritual sense, is destined to be destroyed and replaced by a New Earth. The New Earth that will be created after the Millennial Reign of Christ will be perfect in design and incorruptible like all the saints will be after the Rapture/First Resurrection.

Most intriguingly, when a star goes supernova, the flash of blinding light from the explosion of the star will shine brightly in the heavens - and sometimes they can be visible even in the daytime weeks or months afterward until the light fades away. Therefore, unless the Star of Bethlehem was simply a miraculous light that had nothing to do with the heavens at all, which is doubtful considering the fact that God created the celestial bodies in the heavens to serve as prophetic signs, there is no doubt in my mind that the Star of Bethlehem was once a very bright star, and that it probably had gone supernova. 

This idea that the Star of Bethlehem was actually the light of a supernova connected to the star Sirius B has to be taken seriously because a bright comet or asteroid or conjunction would NOT be visible during the daytime, nor would they be visible for any great length of time. In fact, comets and asteroids pass by the Earth and out of view rather rapidly, and conjunctions only last a few days at most. So there is no other explanation for the Star of Bethlehem other than a star in supernova stage, and I can think of no better candidate for that supernova other than the white dwarf star Sirius B, which can be directly associated with Bethlehem.

However, there are problems with my theory, and one of these problems centers around the fact that scientists estimate that Sirius B went supernova millions upon millions of years ago. But I have learned that these scientists really have no idea how old the Earth or the heavens actually are, or if the speed of light and the degradation of various radioactive isotopes has remained constant throughout the millennia. In fact, scientists don't really know if the distances in the heavens can be considered linear or curved and therefore not measurable  using any modern methods of determining long distances in outer space. In particular, the biblical narrative makes it very clear that God created everything in the heavens and on the Earth within six literal days, and since a day is as a thousand years to God, and a thousand years is as a day, it can be interpreted that the days of creation were actually each 1,000 years long (See Psalm 90:2-5 and 2 Peter 3:7-9). Taking this theory into consideration, and the fact that recorded history can't go back any further than around 4000 BC, the Earth and the Heavens aren't probably more than 12,000 years old.

There was also another problem with my theory that Yahshua was born in September of 3 BC that had to do with the death of King Herod being tied to a Total Lunar Eclipse. Most scholars point to Lunar Eclipses in 5 BC or 4 BC as the Eclipse that appeared around the death of King Herod. But in his Book "The Star That Astonished the World", the Bible Scholar Ernest L. Martin showed that there was a Total Lunar Eclipse in January of 1 BC that filled the criteria needed to match up with Herod's death. This article has been a long time in the making. It took me over 20 years to solve the riddle of the Star of Bethlehem to my satisfaction, and I do not believe that anyone else has a better theory as to what the Star of Bethlehem actually was or is. My assumption that it was in fact the star Sirius B that went supernova makes much more sense than any other theory I have heard. Coupled with the connection of Sirius A and Sirius B with the city of Jerusalem and its suburb called Bethlehem, as well as the 50-year orbit of Sirius B around Sirius A, which is the most brilliant Star in the heavens even without the once even more extraordinary light of its companion Sirius B, it's as if God has been telling us the location and nature of the Star of Bethlehem since the beginning of His 4th Day Creation of the Sun, Moon, planets and stars (See Genesis 1:14-19).

My reason for writing this article now is because of the popular speculation that the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn between December 20th and 22nd is a repeat performance of the Star of Bethlehem, which some astronomers assume was the triple conjunction between these two planets in 7 BC in the Sign of Pisces/Israel that was caused by the phenomenon called retrograde motion. Although this triple conjunction has a strong messianic prophetic significance, and likely was meant to be a prelude to the true Star of Bethlehem that would appear a few years later, there is simply no likelihood that any of the three conjunctions that were spaced months apart in 7 BC served as the actual Star that the Wise Men followed for several months during their journey to Bethlehem.

Due to these factors that strongly rule out a conjunction as the Star that the Magi followed, it irks me a bit that so many articles being shared over popular media recently have been touting this close and spectacularly bright conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn today, tomorrow, and on the 22nd of December as a close approximation of the Star of Bethlehem. This is because some scholars tie the Star of Bethlehem to the triple conjunction of these two planets on May 29th, September 17th, and December 5th, 7 BC in the Sign of Pisces/Israel. Others tie the Star that the Magi followed to conjunctions of Jupiter and Venus in 3 and 2 BC.

While I have no doubt that this Triple Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in 7 BC should be included in the amazing line up of heavenly signs that marked the time of the coming of the Messiah between the beginning of 7 BC and the beginning of 1 BC, there were other equally important signs that followed it, such as he Lunar Eclipse Tetrad on the Jewish Feasts of Passover in the sign of Virgo and the Feast of Sukkot in the Sign of Pisces in 4 and 5 BC, and the Solar Eclipse in Pisces on February 25th, 4 BC that fell in the middle of the Lunar Tetrad of 4 and 5 BC. But the sequence of Heavenly Signs reached a crescendo in 2 and 3 BC with the close conjunctions of Jupiter and Venus in the Sign of Leo the Lion, symbol of the Tribe of Judah and the King of Judah that rules over all Israel on August 12th, 3 BC and June 17th, 2 BC, the Sign of Virgo portrayed as the Woman Clothed with the Sun that appeared in the sky on the Feast of Trumpets which fell on September 11th, 3 BC, and the Conjunction of Jupiter the King among the planets, and the King star Regulus in Leo the Lion on September 10-11th, 3 BC, and also on February 7th and May 8th, 2 BC.

This is where I would like to draw your attention to the fact that, connected to the middle Pyramid at Giza that allegorically represents the crucified Christ in the place of the Skull called Golgotha that was outside the walls of Jerusalem, there is a giant Sphinx that is partly carved out of the bed rock, and partly built of brick in the manner that Josephus indicated was preferred by the Sethites when they built their sacred monuments to glorify the Lord. This Sphinx is a representation of a human-headed, prostrate lion that is perpetually gazing directly toward the East. Furthermore, it has been determined that the head is a representation of a woman wearing a royal pharaonic headdress.

As a part female queen and part lion, this sphinx is allegorically pointing to the Signs of Virgo the Virgin that signifies the virgin Miriam who gave birth to Yahshua, and to the neighboring sign of Leo the Lion, which signifies Yahshua as the King of Judah, as well as the King of kings. So in the Sphinx, we can see a once mysterious ancient symbol that heralds the message that the ancient followers of the God of Seth and Abraham saw the signs of Virgo and Leo as tied to the First Coming of the Son of Man, Yahshua our Messiah as the Suffering Servant depicted by Jupiter and the sign of Bootes at the feet of Virgo, as well as His Second Coming as the King of kings depicted by Leo the Lion, the crownlike rings of Saturn, and the brilliance of Venus, the planet depicting Yahshua as the Bright and Morning Star of Revelation 22:16. 

The reason why this is important to my thesis in this article is that the signs that occurred in 2 BC, 3 BC and 4 BC are inextricably linked to the signs of Virgo and Leo, the signs that heralded the first coming of the Savior of the world. Interestingly, some of these signs are also connected to Pisces, which signifies the Two Houses of Israel called Judah and Ephraim, and the Sign that marks this current age in history, when we are facing the end of the carnal world men created and the Second Coming of Christ that will usher in the New Age of Aquarius, an age connected to this Sign that is a neighbor to Pisces in the heavens.  

Although I could get into many more factors that would prove my point, I think I have said enough for now to get people to start thinking about the Star of Bethlehem along allegorical and esoteric lines, as well as scientific and observational lines. My hope is that those who read this would be willing to question what they have been taught by those who know less about the allegorical Language of God than I do, as well as less about the science of Astronomy than they should to make an educated guess about the Star of Bethlehem. This brings me to say that, like many others, I am making an educated guess based on the knowledge that I have gleaned over the years, and because of the strong connection of Sirius A and B with Jerusalem and Bethlehem that God led me to find. 

But despite all of these revelations that I've shared and the proofs that what I presented here is true, it is possible that I may be wrong also. After all, my conclusion that the Star of Bethlehem was a spectacular and never-to-be-repeated supernova of the Star Sirius B is only a theory, although it is an educated one. And since everyone else who has speculated on the Star of Bethlehem can only present theories based on what they know, I believe that God will ultimately have to solve the riddle, and show us all exactly what the Star of Bethlehem was or is after the Rapture. And when He does choose to tell us all that we can only guess at now, I will be paying rapt attention!

A BRIEF HISTORY LESSON IDENTIFYING

WHO THE ISRAELITES ARE TODAY

Let me start this short history lesson with this radical but true statement: The Israel of Yahshua's day no longer exists. Yes, that's right. In fact, shortly before Yahshua's First Advent Ministry, the Promised Land wasn't called Israel. Instead, it was called the Kingdom of Judah before the Romans took it over. After that, it became the Province of Judea under Imperial Roman rule. This province was occupied by Israelites from only a few select tribes, as most of the other Israelites had been scattered abroad by this time, and did not choose to return to the Promised Land.

Interestingly, Israel is NOT a piece of real estate such as the Promised Land, but is the name that was given to Jacob, who fathered 12 sons that fathered all 12 Tribes of Israel. Furthermore, the Promised Land is not a square plot of ground in one particular location of the Earth, but is connected to a much larger area. The New Jerusalem itself will cover a vast territory, not just one small portion of the land allotted to the people of Israel in eternity. It is strongly hinted at in Deuteronomy 11:22-25, where the Israelites were informed that anywhere they left their footprints in their wanderings would be added to their everlasting heritage. In truth, therefore, the entire Earth will one day be their everlasting heritage, NOT just that tiny piece of land between Egypt and Syria in the Middle East!

However, Jacob's father Abraham is the first one who was considered righteous by his faith in Yahweh, and we are all considered to be children of Abraham by our faith in Yahshua. Not only that, but Yahweh promised Abraham that his offspring through his faith would be as numerous as the stars, which suggests that the entire Universe will one day be the everlasting heritage of Israel! Emphasizing its importance, Yahweh stated this Everlasting Covenant Promise to Abraham three times in Genesis:

Genesis 15:5 - “Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” 

Genesis 22:17 - “...blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.” 

Genesis 26:4 - “And I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven; I will give to your descendants all these lands; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed...”

Furthermore, all the born again saints are betrothed to Yahshua and will be wedded to Him one day soon, which means that they are all already considered to be children of Israel through Yahshua, and honorary Jews via both adoption by Yahweh and marriage to Yahshua. This universal tribal affiliation that is a reality through faith in Yahshua has also been made known to humanity through the Mazzaroth or Zodiac, where all Twelve Signs of the Zodiac are allegorically tied to the Twelve Tribes of Israel, and everyone born under the Sun has the potential to become an Israelite through faith in Yahshua. The above article is a truly revolutionary look at the massive scope of our Israelite heritage in Christ, and I hope that you will take the time to read and ponder over it.

Returning to this study, it is significant that Yahweh's Covenant Promises made to Abraham mentioned the virtually numberless number of the stars in the heavens. This also ties into the fact that Abraham's faith in Yahweh was credited to him as righteousness. In fact, this is a significant point that many Christians and Messianics seem to miss. Yahweh's love of Abraham's faith in Him is a symbol of the love and trust He desires from all those who profess to love Him, and our Father God intends to make sure that there will be a virtually inexhaustible supply of spiritual giants who exercise the Faith of Abraham. This is why, in the New Testament, it is made clear that all those who place their faith and trust in Yahweh and His promised Son and Messiah Yahshua are considered to be righteous also.

Now, what is not really acknowledged in Bible studies focused on Abraham is the fact that this same man Abraham not only fathered the Israelites through Isaac, and the Arabs via Ishmael, but he also fathered most of the other people groups of the Middle East that are identified as Semitic, and these people all spoke a related set of Semitic languages including Akkadian, Babylonian, Egyptian, Canaanite, Phoenician, Persian, Arabic, Aramaic, and Hebrew. In fact, the descendants of Abraham peopled the entire Middle East. This was first accomplished through Sarah's handmaiden Hagar, who was an Egyptian princess. Hagar gave birth to Ishmael, and though it is not well known, Ishmael had 12 sons whose descendants formed into several distinct Semitic kingdoms, just like Isaac's son Jacob's 12 sons were destined to do both in the past, and much later in history.

Besides the population descended from Abraham through Ishmael, Abraham also peopled the Middle East through Isaac and his 2 sons. Esau was the founder of the Edomites and several other Semitic kingdoms. Then there was Jacob, who was called Israel. As already mentioned, Jacob had 12 sons that he fathered through four women. Besides the fact that Ishmael had 12 sons like Jacob, it is also not well known that Abraham had 6 sons that were born to him through his second wife Keturah, who was Abraham's Semitic concubine when Sarah was old, and whom Abraham married after Sarah died. Later, the many tribes descended from Abraham were SCATTERED ALL OVER THE WORLD. This was primarily through conquest displacements, and also during forced and voluntary migrations to different lands after defeat. This dispersal and migration of Israelites to different lands after their military defeat occurred during 4 different Diasporas.

It is also a well known fact that most of the Jews that returned to Israel after the Babylonian Captivity were from the Tribe of Judah, along with Israelites from the Tribes of Levi and Benjamin. In fact, the other tribes were only found in large numbers outside of Israel, mostly to the North in Parthia and Europe, although some Israelites settled in ancient Ethiopia and Asia also. In fact, the Kingdom of Parthia was mostly made up of displaced Israelites, and their kingdom rivaled Rome's at one time. The Wise Men that worshiped Yahshua when He was born in Bethlehem actually came from the Kingdom of Parthia during its heyday, and Parthia occupied part of the land where the ancient kingdom of Persia had been, and where my mother's ancestors are from. So it is highly likely that I am an Israelite by blood as well as by faith.

The displaced Israelites are called the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel, and these people make up the populations of most of Europe, the United Kingdom and her British Commonwealth nations (Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc) and the Americas today. Though they do not replace the Jews or Judah, they are nonetheless counted as an integral part of Israel. There are also small pockets of Israelite descendants in parts of Africa and Asia. As already mentioned, these Israelite descendants were scattered throughout the world during 4 different Diasporas.

The first Diaspora was when the Assyrians destroyed the apostate Northern Kingdom of Israel in the 8th Century BC. The second Diaspora was when Nebuchadnezzar of Persia conquered the Southern Kingdom of Judea in the 5th Century BC. The 3rd Diaspora happened when the Romans destroyed the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 AD, and the 4th and final Diaspora occurred in 136 AD after the Bar Kokhba Revolt. At that time, the Romans chased most of the remaining Jews out of Judea and the surrounding areas. So as far as being Israelites via ancestry or blood lineage, there are many people groups scattered all over the world that qualify.

But during His First Advent Ministry, Yahshua (and later His chosen Apostle Paul) made it clear that the true Israelites are only found by their faith In Yahshua, and by their spiritual rebirth that allows them to keep Yahshua's 2 Commandments. His Commandments call us to love Yahweh and one another, and they therefore embody all of the original 10 Commandments, as well as the Moral Law found scattered throughout the Old Testament books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. Since true Israelites are not found via blood heritage or tradition, but by faith in Yahshua ALONE, the answer to the question of where Israel is located today is: ONLY in the hearts of born again believers that love and follow Yahshua!

Now, as for the tiny modern nation called Israel that is occupied by Christian and Muslim Arabs, and non-believing people of Jewish and Israelite descent as well as some Messianic Jews, it is indeed a prophetic fulfillment of the regathering of Israel in the Last Days. Prophetically, the tiny modern nation of Israel is known as the House of Judah. However, Judah is not the only part of Israel that Yahweh warned would be regathered in the Last Days.

There is also the regathering of Israel that is going on in ALL of the Gentile and Lost Israelite nations of the world. This worldwide regathering of the set apart Israelites out of this wicked world and into the Kingdom of God within is described in two of Yahshua's parables; the Parable of the Sheep and the Goats, and the Parable of the Wheat and the Tares. The saved Jews and Gentiles and Lost Israelites that believe in Yahshua are allegorically tied to the Sheep and the Wheat in those parables. The Jews among these herds of sheep and bushels of wheat are prophetically known as the House of Judah, and the Gentiles and Lost Israelites are known prophetically as The House of Ephraim or Joseph.

According to Yahweh's prophetic words as shown on the graphic at the beginning of this article, these Two Houses of Israel are to be united in the Last Days to fight the unholy enemies of Israel that are united with the Antichrist. Yahshua also spoke of these Two Houses of Israel, identifying them as different sheepfolds in the following Scripture:

John 10:15-16  ~ “As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. 16 And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.”

The divinely initiated division of today's world into two different and opposing groups is being done via many diverse political and spiritual polarities that exist in all the nations of the world. These have served to divide the population of the whole world into two distinct ideological groups, one that is often too rigid in its conservative orthodoxy, and the other that is often too lax in its socialistic approach to Yahweh's Moral Law or Commandments. Today these opposing groups are identified as Liberals and Conservatives in America and elsewhere, and they are constantly warring with each other. The constant opposition and turmoil caused by this ideological war is also causing all the political chaos, and the widespread emergence of wickedness that manifests itself as unrestrained violence and rebellion in the world today.

Thankfully, this division of the world into two distinct ideological groups that hate one another because they are spiritually divided is also a sure sign that Yahshua is coming again soon to rescue all the true Israelites that love and follow Him alone. When Yahshua does come for His Bride in the Rapture, He will only rescue those who are born again from both of the Two End Time Houses of Israel. These are the Jews of the House of Judah and the Gentiles and Lost Israelites of the House of Joseph or Ephraim. But before the Rapture, and afterward, Yahweh is going to unite the truly born again members of both the House of Judah and the House of Ephraim into one mighty army in His control. This is revealed in the following scriptures, where I have added my Spirit-led interpretations in parentheses:

Ezekiel 37:19 ~ “Thus says the Lord God (Yahweh Elohim): ‘Surely I will take the stick of Joseph (Or Rod of God, Symbol of God's Authority), which is in the hand of Ephraim (Christians in the USA, the UK and other traditionally Christian Nations), and the tribes of Israel (the 10 Lost Tribes in Europe), his companions; and I will join them with it, with the stick of Judah (the Jews in America and the tiny Middle Eastern nation of Israel), and make them one stick, and they will be one in My hand.’”

~*~ Zechariah 9:13 ~*~

“For I have bent Judah (Jews in Israel), My bow,

Fitted the bow with Ephraim (Christians in the West and elsewhere),

And raised up your sons, O Zion (Houses United Under Yahweh),

Against your sons, O Greece (Antichrist's Humanistic Rule),

And made you like the sword of a mighty man.”

The Scriptures from Ezekiel Chapter 37 and Zechariah Chapter 9 quoted on the introductory graphic and above this paragraph with my interpretations, and several other Scriptures not quoted here indicate that the Houses of Judah and Ephraim will be working together with Yahweh to fulfill some of the End Time prophecies of the Bible. In fact, this is already apparent since the USA and Israel are fairly close and well united right now. This may also be the case after the Great Tribulation, when some of the backslidden and lukewarm believers in the massive, worldwide Laodicean Church that is going to be left behind to be refined in the fire of the Great Tribulation will wake up and realize that they were left behind because of their apostasy!

This article is actually not just based on what the Bible teaches, but on the Signs in the Heavens that Yahshua created at the dawn of time. So there is not one, but Two Witnesses to its veracity. The Witness in the Heavens is found most clearly in the Sign of Pisces the Fishes, which represents the Two Houses of Israel in mortal conflict with the Humanistic (i.e. Communistic, New Age, and Atheistic) New World Order of the Antichrist. The Antichrist's Kingdom is represented by the Bands and Cetus the Sea Monster, which represents the Beast from the Sea, and the Antichrist's New World Order. The following graphic that came from my January 2019 Article about the Heavenly Signs surrounding the two Supermoons that began this prophetic year shows the Sign of Pisces or Israel as it should be prophetically understood:

To understand this further, believers need to realize that the House of Judah is representative of all the Jews living in the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe and Israel today. Likewise, the House of Ephraim is to be identified with all of the born again Christians living in the Americas, and the British Commonwealth around the world. United together as they will be in the very last moments of history before the Great Tribulation (and afterward when the apostates wake up!), they will fight on the side of Yahweh until Yahshua returns in the Rapture to take them to a place of safety in Heaven.

I firmly believe there will be a Second Rapture to accomplish this rescue of the awakened former apostates in the Houses of Judah and Ephraim that will occur when the Two Witnesses that are murdered in Jerusalem during the Great Tribulation (See the Book of  Revelation, Chapter 11) are resurrected and taken up to Heaven. This will be just as the Seventh and Last Trumpet is blown, and just before the Bowls of God's unmitigated Wrath will be poured out on the wicked around the world. These same saints that are taken up near to the end of the Great Tribulation will then become a part of Yahshua's army of angels and saints that will witness His victory over the military forces of evil and darkness in this world that are aligned against Him, as described in the Book of Revelation Chapters 18 and 19.

CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF THE JEWISH BOY NATAN'S VISION CONCERNING THE WAR OF GOG AND MAGOG

On December 8th, 2015, I spent the afternoon watching and analyzing the YouTube video with English subtitles that shows a Jewish boy named Natan, who said that he went to heaven and saw Israel's future. This video message has been causing a good deal of speculation and discussion among believers right now, and many are discussing whether or not it could be true. Due to the boy's reference to Obama as Prince Gog of Magog, many of the people who already think that US President Obama is the biblical Antichrist find the boy's testimony to be plausible. However, I am still skeptical of this claim. In fact, there are many compelling reasons why I do not think Obama is Gog, but just another antichrist in a long line of antichrists that have led the world over the past 2000 years, and that have become especially prominent in the last 100 or so years.

First of all, President Obama is NOT universally popular, which the Antichrist is going to be. There is a huge faction in the USA and abroad that does not like Obama or his policies, and that alone is a major strike against him being the biblical Antichrist, who will be so well-liked that he will fool the world into thinking he is the Messiah that they have been looking for, and who will convince the world to worship him. Obama does not have that kind of following right now, and I doubt that he ever will. In fact, the only people who see Obama as any kind of Messiah are antichristians and Muslim sympathizers in the USA and abroad that follow the teachings of Malcom X, the Nation of Islam's Louis Farrakhan, and Mohammed, the false prophet of Allah, the Moon god of hate.

Also, although much of thew world believes that the Antichrist will be a Muslim's expected end-time Mahdi, I beg to differ. The Prince of Gog described in the prophetic Book of Ezekiel, Chapters 38 and 39 is going to be a leader of all of Magog (which includes Russia, and possibly China), as well as the leader of many Middle Eastern nations that hate Israel - and NOT just the tiny nation of Israel, but the United States as a type of Israel as well. I will shed more light on this belief of mine a bit later in this article.

Another reason I find the boy Natan's vision suspect is because he appears to have been heavily coached by the Rabbi sitting next to him in the video where he relates his vision. But first and foremost, the boy's testimony does not agree with the prophecies in the Bible about Israel in the Last Days. For this reason, I found the boy's recollections disturbing. The problems that I had with the story that the boy named Natan was telling in this video testimony makes me believe that the Jewish boy did not receive an authentic Word from God through the Holy Spirit. Here are the major problems that I saw with it:

First of all, the Jewish boy who had this out of body or near death experience assumed that the Messiah the Jews are hoping for is alive on the Earth today, and will appear when it is time. This contradicts the truth that believers in Christ know about our Messiah, Who is not on the Earth today except in people's hearts through the Holy Spirit. Believers also know that Christ is coming again from Heaven when it is time - just as Scripture says.

Secondly, the being of light that greeted the Jewish boy when he entered what appeared to be Heaven or Abraham's Bosom did not identify himself. This is strange, since it would have been a perfect time to introduce himself as his real Messiah, or a representative of that Messiah, Who is the Light of the World.

Thirdly, while up in the heavenly places in his out-of-body vision, Natan was shown that the mitzvah or good deed of studying Torah was the lowest tier of virtue in Heaven. However, the fact that this point was made without any revelation that Yahshua is the Messiah, and the Word of God or the Torah made flesh is highly disturbing. This is because I firmly believe that the Jews who do not follow Yahshua or Jesus are not truly saved until they are converted to the truth, which is that Yahshua is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and no one comes to the Father God called Yahweh except through Yahshua or Jesus, as stated in John 14:6. Due to the massive importance of this teaching as regards salvation, God the Father surely would have wanted to convey this to the Jewish boy if he had been having an authentic visionary experience from God.

Also in regard to this Jewish boy's vision, Natan speaks of different levels of initiation or understanding in Heaven that are like tiers of greater and great knowledge, and that not everyone in Heaven understands everything the same way, or is at the same level of knowledge. This implies that there is a class system in Heaven, and this goes against Scripture, which tells us that - though now we see things darkly, as in a mirror, we will one day see God face to face, and understand all things. We are also told that we are all one body in Christ, and none of us is to be more highly regarded than another except in matters of guidance and authority. In this regard, Yahshua's Parables such as the Parable of the Talents and the Parable of the Minahs clearly indicate that He will choose leaders from among all of those who worship Him to rule with Christ during the Millennial Kingdom.

Finally, the boy identified Obama as Gog, when there is no way possible that Obama could be Prince Gog, the leader of Magog because he is not the King of the North, but the King of the South through his actions in aiding the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, where he was once depicted as a Pharaoh on mugs and t-shirts during his visit to Egypt early on in his Presidency. I believe this was surely a prophetic sign from God as to Obama's true identity - especially in light of his sympathetic actions toward Muslims, his upbringing in Muslim-controlled nations, and his early education in Muslim-controlled schools.

This is especially clear to me because, while very few people are fooled by Obama's pretense at being a Christian anymore, Putin is trying hard to convince and fool the world into thinking that - since he purportedly loves Israel and the Jews, and supports Orthodox Christianity (which, like Roman Catholicism, is not truly biblical Christianity) - that he could be the Savior that the Old-School Churches are seeking, as well as the Messiah of Israel that the Jews have been waiting for over the millenia.

This makes sense since Russia is situated to the far North of Israel, making Putin a perfect representative of the King of the North spoken of in the Bible's Book of Daniel. According to the Prophet Daniel, the King of the North will win a major war against the King of the South, who likely signifies Obama as one of the leaders of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, aka NATO. According to the Prophesied War described in the Book of Ezekiel, Chapters 38 and 39, Russia or Magog will form an alliance with most of the Middle East outside of Israel. This is partly true of Russia, which is allied with Iran and Syria. Like Russia, Syria and Iran are also to the North of Israel.

According to Ezekiel 38 and 39, the Prince of Gog or King of the North will stage an invasion of Israel. However, when Scripture mentions Israel in future prophecies - this likely includes both branches of people within the nation called Israel. These branches are the Tribe or House of Judah or the Jews, and the House or Tribe of Ephraim, which is made up of former Gentiles who are now born-again believers in Yahshua or Jesus. Fascinatingly, since there are more Jews living in the USA than in Israel or any other nation right now, and there are also more devoted Christians in the USA than anywhere else, this also means that the USA can be viewed as a part of "Israel". In fact, the USA could well be the Israel being mentioned in Ezekiel 38 and 39 because, unlike the tiny Mid-East nation of Israel, which has a large wall separating Palestinian-held Gaza from Israel, the USA has huge stretches of largely unprotected and indefensible borders. This suggests that the land of unwalled villages mentioned in Ezekiel 38 is the nation called the United States, and NOT the nation called Israel:

~*~ Ezekiel 38:10-13 ~*~ “Thus says the Lord God: “On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan: 11 You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’— 12 to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land. 13 Sheba, Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish, and all their young lions will say to you, ‘Have you come to take plunder? Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?’”’

An important fact in regard to the prophetic scenario that I am painting here is that there are many conspiracy reports that President Obama may be acting in partnership with Russian President Putin behind the scenes to achieve their mutual desire, which is the destruction of the United States. If so, it is God Almighty - the God of all Israel - Who will step in and defend the remnant of godly people still living in the United States when this happens - confusing and destroying the invading armies with their own weapons on the mountains near to both coastlines of the United States, and also found in the north between Israel and Iraq - as stated in Ezekiel 39:1-6:

~*~ Ezekiel 39:1-6 ~*~ “And you, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal; 2 and I will turn you around and lead you on, bringing you up from the far north, and bring you against the mountains of Israel. 3 Then I will knock the bow out of your left hand, and cause the arrows to fall out of your right hand. 4 You shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops and the peoples who are with you; I will give you to birds of prey of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. 5 You shall fall on the open field; for I have spoken,” says the Lord God. 6 “And I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in security in the coastlands. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.”

The only part of the Jewish boy Natan's testimony in the video that I know is true from other prophetic Scriptures in the Bible such as Psalm 89 is the fact that the tiny nation of Israel will be surrounded by enemy armies, and it will be attacked, potentially killing many Israelis. Personally, I think this could happen in tandem with a massive Russian war strike on the United States - possibly with Chinese and/or Radical Islamic assistance. The reason I suspect this is because the many nations surrounding Israel that hate the Jewish people, but are pretending to view ISIS and other Radical Islamic Terrorist groups as a threat, may seize the opportunity to attack Israel and the United States when their biggest and strongest western ally is incapable of assisting or aiding Israel in her defense. In fact, this would make sense of the inclusion of the Middle Eastern nations listed as working together with Magog  or the Russians to invade and plunder both the USA and Israel. They will help you to understand the sound reasoning behind my conclusions.

After analyzing the Jewish boy's video testimony with my own knowledge of the prophetic subject matter, and finding so much in it that doesn't agree with the yet future prophecies in Scripture regarding the War of Gog and Magog, the Psalm 89 war, and the battle between the Kings of the North and the South, I do not trust it, and I do not think anyone else should either. Due to the seriousness of this dubious vision's incorrect implications, I hope you will share my analysis of it with others so that they can analyze it in reference to Scripture as well, and form their own conclusions.

Important Astronomy Facts For January 2014 and Beyond

On January 30th, 2014, there was a New Moon, which occurs when the Moon is alongside or near to the Sun, and therefore can't be seen easily because its surface is in shadow and it is obscured by the Sun's radiance.

Interestingly, as the second New Moon of January 2014, this Moon is also known as a "Black Moon", which appeared in the sign of Capricorn the Goat-Fish, as shown in the screen capture from my Astronomy program shown above. A spectacular photo of the Black Moon taken by a friend is also shown below.

Spiritually speaking, that is an apt title for any New Moon, which allegorically signifies the death of spiritual truth in mankind, whereas the Full Moon is meant to signify the exact opposite. Hence, some of the most important Feasts of Yahweh fall when there is a Full Moon, such as at Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles.

Incidentally, this year these Full Moons on Passover and Tabernacles will also be Blood Moons, meaning that the Earth will come between the Moon and the Sun briefly, and throw the Moon into full shadow. When a Blood Moon occurs, the now dark Moon will take on a reddish appearance similar in color to spilled blood.

The Blood Moons on Jewish Feasts this year are part of a Lunar Tetrad of Blood Moons falling on Passover and Tabernacles in both 2014 and 2015, and this is a very rare occurrence, having happened only seven times before in the past two millennia - each time when something negative and historically significant happened to the Jewish People. This means that these coming Blood Moons are also likely important prophetically in regard to God's People Israel.

Fascinatingly, both of these Blood Moons that will occur on April 15th and October 8th this year will be visible in the United States but not in Israel, and there are more Jews living in the USA than there are in Israel, and the USA is also the greatest bastion of Protestant Christianity in the world. For this reason, these Blood Moons may apply more to the USA from a prophetic standpoint than Israel this year. Even next year, only the autumn Blood Moon on the Feast of Tabernacles will be visible in Israel.

Another intriguing discovery I have made using the Signs in the Heavens is that the Rapture could be in June of this year, about midway between the first two Blood Moons of the coming Lunar Tetrad. My recent POEM Blog Article concerning this is linked to below:

Personally, I think the Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014 and 2015 carries a dire warning to all who dare to harm both Houses of God's Chosen People Israel, which are the Nation of Israel and Yahshua's Bride, the Church. Ominously, the US Government is not only trying to divide the nation of Israel, but to oppress the believers in Yahshua that are living in America, and this is surely something that Yahweh God will not leave unpunished for much longer.

Could this mean a revolution and regime change are coming to the USA, or an attack from outside, or the Rapture, or all three? Only time will tell! A recent heavenly sign that suggests that this will be the case was a planetary line-up in the heavens, which I wrote about in the following article:

The Key of David as the Cross of Christ - The Messianic Meaning of Isaiah 22:22-24

In the Book of Isaiah and Book of Revelation, there are some curious passages about something called the Key of David that are rarely discussed, but are important to understand. This is what the Prophet Isaiah cryptically had to say about this key:

Isaiah 22:22-24 - “The key of the house of David, I will lay on his shoulder; So he shall open, and no one shall shut; and he shall shut, and no one shall open. 23 I will fasten him as a peg in a secure place, and he will become a glorious throne to his father’s house. 24 ‘They will hang on him all the glory of his father’s house, the offspring and the posterity, all vessels of small quantity, from the cups to all the pitchers. 25 In that day,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘the peg that is fastened in the secure place will be removed and be cut down and fall, and the burden that was on it will be cut off; for the Lord has spoken.’”

Though these passages were originally applied to a servant of God called Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, who was chosen by God to replace the wicked man named Shebna as the Governor of the Palace in Jerusalem (See Isaiah 22:15-21), it is a veiled reference to the Ministry and Cross of Christ. Let me explain how this can be deduced. Interestingly, the number 22 is connected to the 22nd and last letter of the Hebrew alphabet, which is the Tav or T. 

The letter Tav signifies the Cross of Christ and His finished work upon it as the Key to Salvation and Resurrection. Only Yahshua can open and shut the doorway to Heaven and everlasting life, and the need for His Cross is the Key that we need to believe in to enter Heaven. Since this is so, the peg being referred to in Isaiah Ch. 22, verses 23 through 25 is the Cross of Christ, while the cups and pitchers hanging from the peg signify all those who are to be saved by Yahshua's blood sacrifice on the Cross. 

Yahshua was fastened securely to the Cross until His death, after which it was removed, as was its burden, which consists of all of the sins of those who accept Yahshua's blood sacrifice on that Cross. In addition, Yahshua's Cross is symbolic of the Throne mentioned in Isaiah 22:23, which is both a heavenly and an earthly seat of power. This is the Throne that our Father Yahweh will give to Yahshua during His Millennial Reign on the Earth.

To support this idea, Isaiah 22:22 is quoted in Revelation Chapter 3, verse 7, with the verse number seven signifying completion, just as the number 22 does. In Revelation, the Key of David is applied exclusively to Yahshua as the Opener of the Way of Yahweh, or Path to Salvation:

Revelation 3:6-8 - “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”:[a] 8 “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.”

Fascinatingly, the only other place outside of Isaiah where the Key of David is mentioned is in the Book of Revelation, Chapter 3, in reference to the Church of Philadelphia or Brotherly Love. This church is identified as the poor, beleaguered, but faithful Church full of all of the believers that will collectively become Yahshua’s Bride at the Wedding of the Lamb in Heaven after the Rapture:

Revelation 3:10-12 - “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. 11 Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. 12 He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God.”

Since these believers remain faithful to Christ to the end of their mortal lives, they are the only church group of the Seven Churches listed in the Book of Revelation that are to be kept “from the hour of trial”, which is a reference to the Great Tribulation. This passage is also a clear allusion to the First Rapture. Interestingly, the Church of Philadelphia is the only church of the seven that is given the honor of being associated with the New Jerusalem, which is to come down from Heaven to Earth “as a bride adorned for her husband”:

Revelation 21:2, 9-12 - “Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”...  “Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. 12 Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.” 

These two passages from the Book of Revelation conclusively show that only the Church of Philadelphia is to be identified with the Bride of Christ, and only Yahshua is to be identified with the Key of David, which is a reference to Christ as the Word of God and Path to Salvation. In a veiled way, it may also be referring to the End Time prophetic nature of the Book of Psalms, which King David of Israel and his son Solomon collectively wrote. The Key of David is also likely tied to the “keys of the kingdom” mentioned by Yahshua in the following verse:

Matthew 16:19 ~ “And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Although Yahshua said this to the Apostle Peter after a play on his name “Peter”, which means, “stone”, it is a reference to the stones or rocks that form the Temple of Yahweh that is the True Church formed by the most faithful among the Two Houses of Israel, Judah and Ephraim. This means that the “keys of the kingdom” belong to those who are born again members of the True Church, which is the Bride of Christ. Since the Bride of Christ is in possession of the “keys of the kingdom” - a phrase which likely refers to Yahshua and the Holy Spirit as keys - only the True Church will be able to perform God’s Will on the Earth with the aid of God’s holy angels until Yahshua comes. 

The rest of those who are to be saved from the other six churches described in the Book of Revelation can be associated with the Five Wise Virgin Attendants of the Bride of Christ, as mentioned in the the Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins found in Matthew, Chapter 25.
