The NATO Summit - Warning Signs of a False Flag Event

By now, many of you have probably heard of the strange goings on in Chicago surrounding the 2012 NATO Summit. To sum it up, there has been a large evacuation of the civilian apartments in that area of downtown where the NATO summit is being held. Military and Police surveillance and security precautions also have been made surrounding the Summit, and the crowds of protestors and reporters it is anticipated to attract. But there are also other strange goings-on in the vicinity of Chicago that you may not have heard of. The following video details a strange noise anomaly similar to others that have been heard in other parts of the world as of late. But this recent one happened to be in the Chicago area:

Now, I happen to live in a near western suburb of Chicago, and have heard the odd humming, vibration-like noise as captured in the above video more than once in the past month. In fact, I heard something similar to it a few days ago, but have kept brushing it off as something possibly coming from an airplane - since we live under O’Hare Airport’s southwest flight paths. However, this video of the strange sound did help me to recall the fact that I recently heard the faint sounding of a trumpet or horn in the sky - playing a repetitive pattern six times - on the morning of March 22nd, 2012. This sounded like the repetitive soundings played on a Shofar or Ram’s horn trumpet on Jewish High Holy Days. Could this have been a divine warning to me that the Seventh Trumpet associated with the Rapture is going to sound soon?

After I heard this trumpet sounding, I heard a loud boom in the air a few hours later on the same day.  At the time, I thought it might be associated with the loud booms that were coming from underground in Clintonville, Wisconsin back in March 2012 that caused some earthquake-like ground rumbling and rattling. However, this town is outside of the greater Chicago-land area, hundreds of miles away from me in Wisconsin, so I should not have been able to hear anything. Nonetheless, I heard what sounded like a Sonic Boom on the afternoon of March 22nd, 2012:

These strange booming noises have also been heard in other states, some of which have been accompanied by shaking and rattling, like those in Clintonville:

I have also been taking note of all the preparations surrounding the NATO Summit, with the already implemented plans to evacuate the downtown Chicago area, and the provision of high security, and I am becoming deeply concerned. I wonder if the government suspects that Terrorists may strike on May 20th or May 21st, when downtown Chicago is packed with people. On the other hand, the Illuminati may be planning to create a false flag event that will look like a Terrorist attack on that day!

My suspicion is that the underground CERN reactor in southern Illinois that is the smaller prototype to the one in Europe, and the above ground HAARP towers in Illinois may be behind the recent underground booms in Wisconsin and the vibration-like noises in the skies surrounding Chicago. If so, then the US Government and US Military may be working together to create another Terrorist-style event like some say the attack on New York’s World Trade Center was - only this time in Chicago. This could be done to frighten Americans enough to relinquish more of their rights in preparation for the New World Order of the Antichrist.

Though there is no way to know for certain if there will be a false flag or real Terrorist event surrounding the NATO Summit, or if it will happen at some other time and place in the near future (such as the London Stadium for the Summer 2012 Olympic Games), the US Military certainly has the technology within the State of Illinois to do this just about anywhere in the Central and Midwestern United States. This may be related to something called Project Blue Beam, which I discussed in the following recent POEM blog article about the possibility that an alien invasion and attack scenario may be used to explain away the horrific, cataclysmic events that may surround the Rapture of the saints:

Meanwhile, the NATO Summit seems to have been organized to create a false flag event IF the Rapture does occur in association with the unusual "Wedding Ring of Fire" Solar Eclipse that will be best seen from over the southwestern United States in the late afternoon of May 20th, 2012. In fact, it is HIGHLY POSSIBLE that certain members of the Illuminati are paying attention to the heavenly signs to see if they might have anything to do with the Rapture, and that they plan potential false flag events to coincide with those days. I will address some of these upcoming heavenly signs in a separate article later today.

As evidence of that there may be violence at the NATO Summit this year, several known dissidents and would-be violent protestors were arrested in Chicago on May 19th for planning to use violence. These men were building Molotov cocktails and pipe bombs that they were planning to use during the NATO Summit demonstrations, judging from the maps of downtown Chicago that were found along with the bombs. If these men were planning to use violence, other groups may be planning to use weapons during the NATO Summit that the authorities haven’t a clue about yet.

Also, outside of the Military exercises using helicopters that were being conducted over the downtown area of the city in past weeks, there is other evidence the government suspects that there may be some major violence in association with the protestors. Since an attack of some kind upon the unsuspecting citizens of Chicago, Illinois is certainly possible during the NATO Summit, please pray for me and my family so that God’s love and protection will surround us on all sides, and that He will ensure that we will not be directly affected - whatever happens. I wish I had the funds and a reason to leave the Chicago area on Sunday, May 20th and Monday, May 21st. But I simply don’t have the cash to do so. Also pray for the people who will be meeting to protest during the NATO Summit meeting, since there are so many signs that there could be some planned violence and rioting surrounding this event, and an even greater false flag event if the Rapture does occur sometime around this time.

Despite all the signs that the US government is no longer trusting in God as our US currency states that it once did, those of us who live in America that do still trust Yahweh God have a hope and a future beyond this world. This is in the Kingdom of Yahshua Ha Mashiach, who is coming again soon. So if you have not already done so, now would be a good time to trust in Him, and to dedicate the remainder of your life in His service.

Barack Obama and Oprah Winfrey, Prototypes of the Antichrist and False Prophet

As all are now aware, Barack Hussein Obama has won the Democratic nomination to run for US President, and is well on his way to winning the Presidential election on November 4th. Indeed, the media is now saying that there has not been such mass popularity for anyone running for President since JFK. Barack has a major cult following, and women have been seen fainting and weeping openly at his political rallies. It's almost as if Obama were a rock star rather than a politician, and that he may be destined to win the upcoming election based more on his cult status than on his readiness for the task.

Now, though this in itself might not make any born-again Christian suspect a dark supernatural element to Barack Obama's campaign touting "Change You Can Believe In," they should have taken major notice when internationally acclaimed talk-show hostess Oprah Winfrey endorsed Obama´s bid for the presidency, and even went to one of his campaign rallies to appear on stage with him and his wife. At that time, Oprah cryptically said "He's the One" before leaving the stage. Now, this leads me to ask; "Why - pray tell - is Obama 'The One?' Furthermore, just what in particular is he the one for?"

Why this should raise some questions should be crystal clear to anyone who has been paying attention to Oprah's talk show and magazine - those perennially popular venues that unashamedly tout Oprah's personal world view and spiritual beliefs as the "IN" way to think. You see, Oprah is not just an imminently likeable talk show hostess. She's a spiritual icon for the New Age movement, has been called the African Mother Goddess of America, and has inspired articles such as CBN's "The Gospel According to Oprah" and Christianity Today's "The Church of O."

Don't believe me? Check out Wikipedia, where it also says: "Oprah's most significant role has become that of spiritual leader. To her audience of more than 22 million mostly female viewers, she has become a postmodern priestess -- an icon of church-free spirituality." To this, I would add that not only is Oprah's spirituality Church-free, it's also Christ-free. In other words, Oprah is preaching a different Gospel than the one in the Bible - one that is totally devoid of any reference to a loving, caring Creator God, or a need for His Son as our Savior.

If the fact that a New Age priestess is backing Obama's campaign doesn't make Christians stand up and take notice, Barack's most enduring Church affiliation should. Until very recently, Obama and his family attended the Trinity United Church of Christ, and were close friends with its long time pastor Jeremiah Wright, whose radical teachings included cursing America as a racist nation and damning it to Hell. Now, I don't know about you, but that doesn't sound like the Christianity of peace, love, forgiveness and equality that is unquestionably preached about in the Bible´s hallowed pages.

Not only that, but Obama has shown that he is not a true friend of Christianity. In fact, Obama is fully pro-abortion (as opposed to pro-choice or pro-life) and pro-ecumenical in that Obama not only supports all faiths, but he is radically opposed to allowing Christians slightly more freedom to express their faith than people of other faiths, and vehemently critical of any reference to America as a "Christian" nation.

Though this may seem like a constitutional stance, and it sounds democratic and fair on the surface, Obama's views may cause him to be easily swayed by special interest groups who favor imposing unfair restrictions on Christians in regard to their constitutional right to freedom of speech and peaceful assembly. Indeed, there is no doubt in my mind that Oprah and her cronies would not only welcome but would encourage Obama to do so. The now all too frequent protests against Christians praying using Jesus' name in public, or displaying manger scenes or Christmas trees are a telling case in point.

There are also many questions about Obama's background and beliefs that have not been answered adequately in my mind, such as his associations with known radicals and whether or not he feels any patriotism or love for America as it was envisioned by its Christian founding fathers. The fact that Obama has refused to cover his heart during the playing of the National Anthem and initially refused to wear a flag pin during the early part of his campaign greatly disturbs me since I love my country, and want to support and improve it in any way that I can. Furthermore, I believe that this is the stance that every American should share, whether they are native born or naturalized.

In addition to these problems, Barack Hussein Obama seems unsure of whom or what to support on an international level, as was displayed during his recent trip to Israel. While there, Obama did a radical about-face regarding the topic of not dividing Jerusalem. Initially, Obama was supportive of keeping Jerusalem undivided, but then he quickly changed his tune when faced with Arab-led protests.

As a Messianic Christian who is quite familiar with Bible prophecy, I believe that any nation or group of people that attempts to divide, attack, or destroy Israel will pay the ultimate price on Judgment Day. It is therefore not only in America's best interests to continue supporting and protecting Israel, but it is also God's ultimate desire for America and all nations as revealed in Prophecy.

For those reading this who are strangers to Bible prophecy, let me tell you who Obama and Oprah remind me of in regard to the End Times. They unquestionably resemble the infamous Antichrist and the False Prophet, two secretly evil characters who will appear to be good, and will deceive many unsuspecting souls who don't read the Bible or have a personal relationship with God and His Son. So, if that sounds like you and you're voting for Obama, I'd think twice if I were you.

The Bible's Book of Revelation says that the Antichrist - who is a powerful political leader - and the False Prophet - who is a powerful religious leader - will arise to power just before the Great Tribulation, which is a seven year period when God's wrath will be poured out on sinful humanity. This time period will culminate with the Battle of Armageddon - aka World War III - and climax with the Second Coming of Christ to set up His Millennial Kingdom on Earth. Considering what a mess we sinners have made of the world lately (and at nearly every point in history), I'm really looking forward to His reign.

Now, you may wonder, do I think Barack Hussein Obama IS the Antichrist? Well, before I answer that question, I need to explain that there is going to be not one but two Antichrists on the world scene in its final years. The one the Bible calls the King of the North is THE Antichrist, and he will conquer the little antichrist called the King of the South when he attempts to attack the King of the North's territory. I believe the Antichrist, or King of the North will be a prominent leader in the European Union and the world, and that he will be a bonafide prince, just as the Bible says he is. In addition to him, though, there is the little antichrist - the one that Muslims call the Mahdi - and he could be anyone, as long as he thinks like a Neo-Fascist/Radical Muslim.

With his radical anarchist friends, associates in the Nation of Islam, and his leftist political leanings, Barack Hussein Obama has many of the earmarks of being that prophetically little-known individual called the Mahdi. In fact, his father and stepfather were Muslims and the young Obama was schooled in a Muslim community where children currently are regularly taught to lie, cheat and steal from unsuspecting infidels - and even kill them without mercy when the opportunity presents itself. There are even rumors that Obama has a false birth certificate, was not born in Hawaii, but Africa, and is therefore not a naturally born US citizen.

Despite the dire warnings that his Christianity may be - at best - superficial, Barack Obama is very good at pretending to be Christ-like. Couple that with his wild popularity, heavy ecumenical slant, politically correct immorality, slick communication savvy, youthful attractiveness, nearly universal appeal, and heavy funding from Muslims and other special interest groups, and you´ve got many signs proclaiming that Obama could be the Mahdi, a.k.a. the little Antichrist or King of the South. As President of the USA, he could secretly make an agreement with several Arab nations with the objective of destroying Israel. Then, the President may convince the Israelis to sign a peace treaty that will divide Jerusalem between the Israelis and Palestinians - but only if it will allow the Jews to build a new Temple on the Temple Mount near to the Al Aqsa Mosque.

Bible prophecies have much to say about what will happen after that historic peace treaty is signed. Using the guidance of the Holy Spirit that God has given to me and the knowledge I've gained from the Bible and the Gospel in the Stars, this is what I foresee happening then:

First of all, the Rapture - when millions upon millions of Christians around the world will be caught up to heaven to be with Christ forever - will occur around this time. This event will partly cripple the USA and cause it to be less able to defend itself against invasion or to help Israel. This is when the Bible teaches that the Arab-Israeli peace treaty will be broken after three and a half years. At that time, the USA and the Arab nations surrounding Israel will be invaded by a massive multi-nation military force led by the Antichrist, or King of the North in Europe. So, though the Antichrist will help Israel defeat the nations attacking her, Israel will still lose her sovereignty and the entire USA will be under attack. This is known to Bible students as the Gog-Magog Invasion, though most miss that it will be launched against Israel and the USA simultaneously.

Having gained the upper hand around the world, the Antichrist will enter and desecrate the new Jewish Temple in Jerusalem and claim to be a god while demanding worship. This will cause Jews, Muslims, and Christians around the world to revolt against the Antichrist. As an inevitable result, all three religious groups will be targeted for annihilation by the Antichrist, and they all will be heavily persecuted until Christ returns to liberate Israel, destroy the Antichrist and his armies, and save the USA from annihilation.

Even if Barack doesn't win a ticket to the White House this time around, he no doubt will save some of the enormous sums he raised this year for his campaign to run for President again in 2012 - the year that the ancient Mayans predicted would see the end of the world as we know it. Time will certainly tell. And, even if Obama isn't "The One" - because he all too closely resembles that really, really bad guy of the Bible called the Antichrist or his twin in evil called the Mahdi, he certainly won't be getting my vote on Election Day.

Could the Prophecy of a Mid-East War in Psalm 108 Be Fulfilled on the 9th of Av This Year?

Elmwood Park, Illinois, USA - August 6th, 2008 - Today, I thought I would take some time to write about an upcoming important date on the Jewish calendar that may be significant this year, especially in light of my past interpretations of the End-Time prophecies hidden in the Psalms.

This Sunday, August 10th, 2008 will be the 9th of Av on the Jewish calendar. Though few people know it, this is a major day of mourning for the Jewish people because of the destructions of the First and Second Temples that occurred long ago on that day.

As a result, many Jews in Israel and around the world will be in a somber mood remembering the loss of their temples this August 10th. In addition they will be mourning many other acts of Anti-Semitism that have occurred on the 9th of Av throughout history, such as the many pogroms and expulsions against the Jews in Europe, England, and other places around the globe.

Ominously, there is a prophecy in Psalm 108 about a war between the West and the Middle East over the dividing of Israel and Jerusalem. In fact, I wrote a detailed article about it last year called: “The Amazing Hidden Prophecy in Psalm 108 and the War on Terror - Are They Connected?” If you haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend it.

In that article, I explained how Psalm 108 corresponds with the years 2008 and 2009. It is therefore highly likely that this prophesied war will occur this year or next - providing God doesn’t delay it for some reason. If there are no delays, some tragic event could occur surrounding the current surrender of portions of Israeli territory to those to whom it does not belong. Indeed, if authorities attempt to divide the city of Jerusalem anytime soon, it could precipitate a war in the Middle East between Israel and several other Middle Eastern countries this year, and it certainly could occur on the 9th of Av.

Regardless of what happens to Israel or the Jewish people this Sunday, there are signs that the war prophesied in Psalm 108 is very near on the horizon. These signs include the ongoing missiles and other acts of Terror being relentlessly directed at Israelis from the Palestinian and Syrian Terrorists, Russia’s recent military exercises via air and sea in the Baltic Sea and Atlantic Ocean, Iran’s refusal to stop their nuclear enrichment program, Israel’s recent military air strike against Syria, and the worry expressed by the US Government in regard to Iran’s hatred toward Israel and the West, especially the USA.

It will be interesting to see what does unfold in Israel and the Middle East this year, and what part the United States will play in it, considering that Israel is having upcoming elections for the seat of Prime Minister, and there will be a Presidential election here in the USA this November.

With both countries anticipating new leaders at the helm, many changes may soon be on our political and economic horizons.

Global Warming: A Consequence Of Apostasy In The USA, and The World

October 18, 2007 - This article is a continuation of my article “The Amazing Star Gospel Connection of the USA and Israel, and the Zodiac in Bible Prophecy,” which was posted at this site recently. Before reading this article, it would be helpful if you read that article for more background on the points I will be addressing in this article, which is excerpted from my book: “The Language of God in Prophecy”.

Now, if - as shown in my previous article - the United States is supposed to be a spiritual light to all other modern nations, it follows that the failure of the United States to give that spiritual light will cause the entire nation to suffer Yah’s (i.e. God’s) Wrath and Judgment. Though the United States still likely has more Christians per capita than any other nation on Earth, the government of the United States is becoming corrupt, and many apostate American politicians and judges are openly, and frequently attacking the premises upon which this great nation was founded.

Besides the democratic freedoms given to its citizens including the freedom of religion, the people of the United States swore to be “One Nation Under God” - whose national and spiritual motto is “In God We Trust.” The increasing failure of the people of the United States to honor these creeds, and to be a godly spiritual light in this dark world in recent times, has led to great misfortune for the United States. Clear signs that the U.S. Government, and many American citizens, are treading upon dangerous ground due to their immorality can be seen in many aspects of American society today, especially in the:

-- Media promotion that homosexuality is acceptable, and should not only be tolerated, but embraced as an acceptable lifestyle

-- Murder, rebellion, violence, sexual promiscuity, and pornography seen as entertainment rather than sin

-- Increasing usage of mind-altering, health-damaging recreational and prescription drugs

-- Legalization of abortion and euthanasia

-- Rapid escalation of violent crimes, murders, and all kinds of theft, including electronic and identity theft

-- Active promotion of Evolutionary Theory, which relegates the account of Creation in Genesis into the realm of myth

-- Increasingly open hostility toward Christian morality and values in our schools, and in the media

-- Deterioration of our legal system, which no longer supports biblical moral law, but promotes “tolerance” of sin

These immoral activities are a great affront to Yahweh, yet many Christian Americans condone these sins by their indifference, or refusal to show their outrage. Can any true believers in Yah doubt that America’s major national falling away from the truth in the past thirty years has reaped, and will continue to reap dire spiritual consequences for American citizens? After 9-11, how can anyone doubt that the moral degeneration of the United States, and the entire world has inevitably led to Yah’s judgment and wrath against many nations?

Indeed, though Europe had already fallen into many of the sins now becoming rampant in America (i.e. sexual immorality, promiscuity, political corruption, and apostasy) God did not begin to pour out His wrath on Europe immediately. Instead, Yah waited until increasing numbers of Americans followed Europe’s lead, and began to fall deeply into sin.

Currently, the world’s crazy weather patterns are one of the most obvious signs that we are in the End Times. In fact, so-called “natural disasters” are increasing exponentially all over the world. In 2003 and 2004 alone, statistics show that there has been a massive increase not only in the number, but also in the destructive power of storms, floods, and other natural disasters all over the world. For example, in 2004, many regions in the United States suffered from tremendous amounts of flooding from the unnaturally heavy rains that began in early spring that year, and continued throughout the summer. Even ordinarily dry States such as California and Nevada suffered from severe, and devastating flash floods, and mud slides. Later in 2004, and before more heavy rains came, there was unusual damage in California from severe brush fires. Though common to the ecology of the Southwest, these brush fires were burning increasingly way out of control.

Then, in 2005, the entire USA went from one extreme to another. Instead of too much rain in most regions (except Florida and the Eastern seaboard), many States suffered from severe drought, and heat. For example, due to drought, brush fires in the Western regions of the USA burned over vast areas in Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, and Colorado for an unnaturally long period of time. Besides drought, daytime temperatures were extremely high. On July 24th, 2005, for example, the Weather Channel showed a map of the entire USA that was almost completely colored red, with temperatures in those red areas soaring with Fahrenheit temperatures in the high 90’s and lower 100’s. In my lifetime, I have never seen a TV weatherman’s map of this country that showed such a wide area of the country suffering from unbearable heat at the same time.

Then there were the hurricanes that racked the Southern coastal areas of the United States in 2005. There has never been a year in the recorded history of this country when five hurricanes hit the southern US coast in one season, or when two of the hurricanes were initially rated as category five - the most powerful level of hurricane in destructive force. One of these was Hurricane Katrina, which completely flooded the city of New Orleans, caused billions of dollars in damage to property, and killed thousands of Americans.

The totally erratic weather patterns of 2005 are continuing into 2006 around the world, with record highs and lows everywhere, and dire warnings about even more volatile weather to come due to Global Warming, which may be one of the plagues prophesied about in the Book of Revelation. Environmental changes attributed to Global Warming include increased severity of storms, severe melting of polar ice caps and loss of coastal lands, massive droughts or floods, and massive species extinctions. It therefore seems likely that these drastic changes in the weather of the USA are reflections of God’s judgment on America, and the world. Records prove that destructive weather patterns and earthquakes have been increasing all over the world, not just in the USA.

One example of this was the earthquake-generated tsunami that hit the coast of Indonesia in 2005, killing over 150,000 indigenous people, and many tourists from around the globe. Then there was the terrible earthquake that hit Pakistan, killing thousands more. Due to their severity and frequency, these disasters all seem to be signs that God is punishing the whole world for its End Time apostasy, not just America. When the World Trade Center in New York was destroyed during the Terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, Yahweh God’s Wrath and Judgment was also likely being shown to the people of the United States.

One reason the American people may have lost Yah’s divine protection is because they are no longer the spiritual lights of the world that they were called to be! Eerily, the destruction of the World Trade Center echoes the destruction of the Tower of Babel. Just as the city of Babylon was in that bygone era, New York City, and Manhattan in particular - is the heart of America’s business and economic world, and a world financial hub. As such, it is the headquarters for many multi-billion dollar international businesses and industries. In fact, the Twin Towers were viewed as the international heart of Capitalism by many icons of the financial world. Therefore, when Yahweh allowed those two gigantic pillar-like towers dedicated to “Mammon” to collapse in a terrifying avalanche of fire, smoke, bodies, and debris, Yah was sending a clear spiritual warning signal to America - and to the world!

Through this dire warning, some Americans were reminded of Christian values that too many of them had previously forgotten, or ignored. A few made some much-needed changes in the way they conducted their lives and businesses. However, the true implications of this national disaster were not really made apparent to many Americans, and too many of them refused to believe, or were woefully unaware, that God was judging America, and holding them accountable for their sins.

The godly values that all Americans need to uphold in order for God’s blessings to be restored can partly be found in two of Yahshua’s admonitions against money and wealth. The first is that “the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil” (1 Timothy 6:10). The second is that we should “store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:20-21). Our focus in this life is therefore not to be on the acquisition of wealth, or material pleasures. Instead, we are to care for our needs, and the needs of our families and communities, in a spirit of compassion, forgiveness, brotherhood, and love. Unfortunately, however, most Americans are slaves to credit, and are very wasteful in their propensity for buying more than they can possibly use in any given period - whether it be food, clothing, possessions, or entertainment.

Two other values that are being severely undermined in America (as in Europe) are the institutions of marriage, and the family. The escalating push in the media and Hollywood for the full public acceptance of homosexual marriage and lifestyles - if allowed to go unchecked - could result in tragic moral consequences in other areas. For example, it has almost become a prerequisite in our schools to teach that homosexuality is perfectly acceptable! But has everyone truly considered the possible consequences of such thinking, or how offensive it is to God?

Despite the charm and good-humor that some homosexuals in the entertainment industry convey, we must not lose sight of the fact that they are blatantly unrepentant sinners. In fact, all abnormal sexual behaviors are considered hideous crimes in the eyes of God. Therefore, the truth is that legalizing homosexuality, and making it a socially acceptable behavior, could also lead to the acceptance and legalization of such aberrant and sinful behaviors as polygamy, pedophilia, partner swapping, and incest! Do you doubt this possibility? Think again!

As an example of how lax America is becoming in its view of morality, an American court recently ruled that any woman who puts herself in a “compromising position” such as in a hotel room, or man’s apartment, can be considered to be giving her consent to be a potential sexual partner - whether she says so or not! The problem with a law like this is that any woman - even one who is unavoidably forced to walk alone at night - could be viewed as “asking” to be raped simply by her accessibility, and vulnerability!

Even if we do not commit sinful acts, or openly support them, our meek acceptance of them is as much a sin as actually performing these ungodly acts ourselves. Therefore, unless America and the world turns away from their self-centered, immoral, and materialistic lifestyles, it is my belief that this Divine Judgment of the United States will continue to get worse. In fact, this period of Judgment and destruction will likely not be fully lifted from America until Christ returns to set up His Millennial Kingdom on Earth.

The Amazing Hidden Prophecy In Psalm 108, and the War on Terror - Are They Connected?

August 30, 2007 - Many people are filled with anxiety today, wondering what is going to happen in regard to the war on terror, and America’s place in it, as well as the part the Middle East nations will play in upcoming world events.

In that regard, the God of Israel has hidden much in Scripture about this very time in history. However, few scholars seem to be aware of the hidden prophecies in the Book of Psalms attributed to King David. For thousands of years, the Psalms have primarily been seen as praise and worship songs, with only a few directly prophetic psalms like Psalm 22, which clearly pertains to Christ’s First Advent. For this reason, few books on End Time events discuss these prophecies.

In my book, “The Language of God in Prophecy” (read about it at http://pillar-of-enoch.com/Language_of_God_in_Prophecy/), I show how many Psalms - especially the Hallel Psalms 110 through 118 - may be directly related to global prophetic events occurring in the years 2010 through 2018. These nine psalms appear to describe unfolding events that will usher in the most terrible time in world history outsde of the Great Flood: the seven-year Great Tribulation! My book on prophecy gives a thrilling glimpse into future world events, even though I neglected to look at Psalm 108, which is directly connected to the years 2008 through 2009.

If I had looked at Psalm 108 closely while writing my book, it would have added greatly to my prophetic interpretation of what the Hallel Psalms may mean in regard to the West’s ongoing war on Terror. In this article, I would therefore like to explain what this Psalm might foretell for the United, States, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and the rest of the world in the next two years leading up to 2010 - a year signaled out in several prophetic channels.

Throughout Psalm 108, there are many terms that apply to nations and people groups in the past, as well as the present and future. What is doubly thrilling about this is that all the nations mentioned are directly involved with the current, globally felt war against Terrorism. To show how Psalm 108 reveals this, abridged portions of its thirteen stanzas will be quoted, followed by interpretations of what people groups and events these verses pertain to.

Let’s begin with the first seven stanzas:

“O God (Elohim), my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise… Awake, lute and harp! I will awaken the dawn. I will praise You, O LORD (Yahweh)… among the nations… Be exalted, O God (Elohim), above the heavens, and Your glory above all the earth; That Your beloved (i.e. Jerusalem) may be delivered, save with Your right hand, and hear me. God (Elohim) has spoken in His holiness: ‘I will rejoice; I will divide (or separate) Shechem (a city of refuge in Ephraimite territory which now refers to the Palestinian allotment of land in the West Bank) and measure out (i.e. set apart) the Valley of Succoth (part of Gad’s ancient territory - refers to the Palestinian occupied Gaza Strip).” -Psalm 108:1-7 (NKJ)

Fascinatingly, one of the two portions of land that have been portioned out to the Palestinians is the West Bank, which surrounds Jerusalem on three sides. This portion of land is called Shechem in Psalm 108, and it was rich pastureland when Jacob’s sons tended their father’s flocks there. It was near Shechem that Joseph made his fateful trip out into the fields to check on the welfare of his brothers, only to be beaten, imprisoned, and sold into slavery by them (Genesis 37:13-28). It was also in Shechem where Joseph was later buried.

Interestingly, the story of Joseph’s slavery, and later rise to power in Egypt echoes the current conflict between the West, and the Muslim nations. Perhaps this is why Joseph’s tomb is located in Shechem, or the West Bank, and why the Palestinians barbarically destroyed his tomb in 2003. As shown in my book “The Language of God in Humanity” (read about it at http://pillar-of-enoch.com/Language_of_God_in_Humanity/), Joseph’s two sons Ephraim and Manasseh would come to represent two powerful Gentile nations in the Last Days: The United States (Ephraim), and the United Kingdom (Manasseh).

The Scripture “I will divide (or separate) Shechem” directly states that it is God’s Will that there should be a separation of the West Bank from the rest of Israel through the auspices of the United States, United Kingdom, and United Nations! In double fulfillment of this, the West Bank is now separated, or divided by political strife as well since it was set up as a secular democratic state, but was quickly overrun by fundamentalist Islamic terrorist groups.

Even more fascinating is the fact that “the Valley of Sukkoth” in the preceding Scripture may be referring to the Gaza Strip, which is indeed measured out, or set apart from Israel and the West Bank! These two sections of land were recently given to the Palestinians in order to secure peace with them, and the rest of the Middle East. However, this grand gesture of generosity by Israel has failed miserably in winning support and friendship from the Palestinians, or other Muslim nations.

The reason this modern bid at peace is failing is bound up in the past, and directly relates to the seemingly perpetual blood feuds between Isaac and Ishmael, and Jacob and Esau. It is also tied to the failure of the Israelites to make any lasting peace with the hated Philistines, and Amalekites after the Exodus, and the conquest of Canaan.

Intriguingly, the next two stanzas of Psalm 108 tell us what nations are intimately involved with, or opposed to this dividing up of Israel in an effort to bring peace to the region. It also states which nations are under God’s current control, or acting on His behalf, and also which ones are the targets of His wrath:

“Gilead (i.e. the grandson of Manasseh, likely referring to Canada today) is Mine; Manasseh (the United Kingdom) is Mine; Ephraim (the United States) also is the “helmet for My head” (or chief stronghold); Judah (the nation of ISRAEL) is My lawgiver. Moab (Syria, Iraq, and Iran) is My washpot; over Edom (Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and possibly Yemen and Oman) I will cast My shoe; over Philistia (Lebanon, Syria, Palestinian territories) I will triumph.’ ” -Psalm 108:8-9 (NKJ)

This portion of Scripture indicates that the Western nations with the most troops in Iraq and Afghanistan today, and those most closely allied with Israel today in friendship - the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada - are doing God’s will in the Middle East. So, no matter what people in these countries may think of their current political leaders, or government decisions concerning the War on Terror, these governments are (most likely unwittingly) acting on God’s behalf right now, though I must strongly emphasize here that this situation will change dramatically when the Antichrist becomes leader of the West in Europe sometime during, or after the predicted war described in Psalm 108.

The remaining portion of Psalm 108 tells us that the Western nations allied to Israel are going to have a major military show down with the Islamic terrorists allied against them, which include those living in Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Saudi Arabia. Now based on my interpretation of Psalms 110 through 118 in “The Language of God in Prophecy”(read about it at http://pillar-of-enoch.com/Language_of_God_in_Prophecy/), this war will likely be waged for two to three years, or until just before the Rapture of the True Church - which could occur in 2010 through 2012 AD. Furthermore, based on the final stanza of Psalm 108, the armies of the West will not be able to defeat their Terrorist enemies unless the people of the West (particularly the USA) openly call upon the God of Israel to help them:

“Who will bring me into the strong (or fortified) city (i.e. Babylon; a.k.a. Iraq - with its many US-built military bases surrounding it)? Who will lead me (in)to Edom (Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and possibly Yemen, and Oman)? Is it not You, O God (Elohim), who cast us off? And You, O God (Elohim), who did not go out with our armies? (OR: Elohim, will You cast us off? Elohim, will You abandon our armies?) Give us help from trouble, for the help of man is useless. Through God (Elohim) we will do valiantly, for it is He who shall tread down our enemies.” -Psalm 108:10-13 (NKJ)

In this final section of Psalm 108, the passage which reads: “it is He who shall tread down our enemies” suggests that God will miraculously intervene, and bless the West with a temporary victory in the Middle East. Furthermore, the lamentations and pleas to God in Psalm 109 - the psalm tied to events in late 2009 through 2010 - indicates that this war will lead to both suffering, and great spiritual revival (as witnessed in this psalm of prayer and lamentation) in the land of Israel, and the countries allied to it:

“But you, O Sovereign LORD (Yahweh), deal well with me for your name's sake; out of the goodness of your love, deliver me. For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me. I fade away like an evening shadow; I am shaken off like a locust. My knees give way from fasting; my body is thin and gaunt.” - Psalm 109:21-24 (NIV)

Psalm 109 also suggests that the resolution of this war may lead to a much greater openness among Jews and Arabs to hear the Gospel, and be saved. Perhaps the miraculous events leading to this short-lived victory of Israel and the West against the Arabs will spur this revival, and the sharing of the Good News of the Kingdom of God with all of Abraham’s descendents through Ishmael and Isaac in preparation for the Rapture, and Great Tribulation:

“Help me, O LORD my God (oh Yahweh my Elohim); save me in accordance with your love. Let them know that it is your hand, that you, O LORD (Yahweh), have done it.” “With my mouth I will greatly extol the LORD (Yahweh); in the great throng I will praise him. For he stands at the right hand of the needy one, to save his life from those who condemn him.” - Psalm 109:26-27, 30-31 (NIV)

Could this worldwide time of peace and revival be the result of a peace treaty between Israel and the Arab world that will be signed with the diplomatic help of a politician who either represents, or will become the Antichrist? Based on other clues in Scripture, this peace treaty will likely allow the Jews to build a new Temple adjacent to the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. But that, my friend, is another story.
