BE CAREFUL HOW YOU WAGE SPIRITUAL WARFARE!

I am writing this as a warning to my Prayer Warrior friends out there who - like me - have been suffering a good deal from demonic attack lately because they are regularly praying for the nation and their political leaders - often asking God to bring down, destroy or severely limit various spiritual principalities and powers over our nation's capitol, over various cities, and over various regions of the world.

I was doing the same thing because I had been taught that it is within our authority in Christ to do so. But I now know that this practice is not only unhealthy, but foolhardy, especially if we are not engaging in praise and worship of our Heavenly Father as often or as much! In fact, I now understand that there are some very real limits that human beings need to set around Spiritual Warfare so that they do not bring curses on themselves. These curses manifest when we do not understand the boundaries that surround our inherited power and authority in Yahshua.

For example, when we humbly pray for something specific, requesting God's intervention, and recognizing that only His power and authority can get the job done, God isn't going to turn it into a curse on us, or someone or something else. He will only do that when our request is made with boasting, pride, or selfish ambition, and/or it is interfering with, or trying to target spiritual principalities and powers that are not under our jurisdiction, but that belong solely to God to govern and control.

So - as long as we are praising and worshiping God daily, and then praying for things that are physically needed, like forgiveness, or healing, or spiritual equipping, we are not going to cause any trouble for ourselves or others, and will see real and good results from our prayers. The key to achieving this is to not engage the Devil at all, or mess with His authority, which was given to him by God for a set time and purpose, and is governed by a principality that we have no business messing with. In short, we don't have any right to war against the demonic spiritual principalities and powers in high places directly, but only to ask God to deliver us and our loved ones from demonic attack here on Earth when it manifests in our limited sphere of influence.

Only when we recognize that the unseen principalities governing demonic oppression and attack are not under our jurisdiction will we be delivered from, and protected from direct demonic attack and oppression when we ask. We can command demons to flee in the Name of Jesus or Yahshua, but we cannot demand that God destroy the principality that allows those same demons to attack the unwary. This is because it is God who set up its parameters, and it is God who controls the limits of that principality's extent and power, and not us.

This likely explains why I - and others I know and love - have been suffering so much lately with poor health and financial woes. We have erroneously been trying to wage a spiritual war in the heavenly places without first seeking to love and worship and praise God for what He has already done on our behalf, and what He has promised to do when we ask. Instead, without recharging our spiritual batteries by drawing near to God and getting a fresh infusion of His love and healing touch, we are not caring for our wounded and broken bodies, and are instead rushing headlong into battle unprepared and lacking our SHIELD OF FAITH (See Ephesians 6:16).

We aren't supposed to be commanding God's angels or His Spirit to break down spiritual principalities, and to destroy or bind the powers of wickedness over our nation, over our cities, and over our neighborhoods and homes where we have no business or authority to do so. Instead, we're supposed to be praising and worshiping God, loving Him and ourselves and our neighbors, and basking in His love for us before we ask Him to meet our needs. As a result, we have been cursing ourselves with demonic oppression by not being covered with a hedge of protection through our worship and praise, and we have been improperly interfering with God's and the Devil's authority.

Attempting to bind and destroy spiritual principalities and powers that Yahshua set into place to accomplish the Father's will is a direct affront to God's authority, and this affront sets us up to be cursed rather than protected by God. We all need to learn to stay within our sphere of influence, which extends no further than our homes, our church family, our local politics, and our individual finances. Everything else is - or should be - spiritually off limits!

This limitation to the kinds of spiritual warfare we are allowed to have, and what kind of warfare we have the authority to wage becomes evident when we look at examples of the kind of prayers we ought to be praying. These examples are primarily found in the Gospels, and in the Psalms.

The biggest and best example is when Yahshua or Jesus taught us how to pray by sharing the prayer now known as the "Our Father".  When Yahshua prayed this prayer as an example to us, He did so with humility, not commanding God, but humbly beseeching God, and asking only for our collective and individual spiritual and physical needs to be met.

In His prayer example, Yahshua or Jesus first worshiped the Father by hallowing His Name,or reflecting on the goodness and loving nature of His Character. He then asked God the Father to deliver us from evil or sin. In addition, He asked God to help us to be able to forgive those who sin against us as we await our deliverance in the Rapture, and to seek to work toward the setting up of the Kingdom of God on Earth. There were no curses in His prayer aimed at the Devil or his demons, and no proud commands for God the Father to disarm or destroy the wicked principalities governing various regions of the Earth.

Instead, Yahshua simply commanded the demons to leave the people that they had possessed, and they did. He also directed where the demons could go after they were cast out, such as when He allowed demons to possess a bunch of swine or pigs that then ran head long into the sea and drowned (See Matthew 8:30-32). We can also ask God to cast demons into the Abyss or bottomless pit. Just don't order them to go there by your own authority, but instead remember that we can only act with the limited sphere of authority that God has given to us.

I previously had been erroneously telling the Devil to get out of my life with a measure of pride, foolhardy courage, and contempt for years, and so have many of you - unwittingly cursing yourselves with demonic trouble whenever you do! So please be careful, fellow believers. Do wage Spiritual Warfare daily, but be careful to keep your warfare prayers within the parameters that have been physically assigned to you by God, which are clearly delineated by your own sphere of influence, and do not go beyond it, even as I am now humbly learning to do.

Please remember that the Holy Spirit is not being poured out to bring people to Christ because of our will, or our prayers. It is being poured out because that is what God intended to do all along, just as the prophets of old revealed! The Holy Spirit is and has been poured out many times since Christ died on the Cross to raise up true believers where there once was none, and to show the world that God does not need the help of any believer to fulfill His Great Commission unless they are acting within His Will.

God will accomplish His Will on His own, if necessary, and we should know that He doesn't need our help unless He specifically asks us for it via the Holy Spirit living in us! Sadly, however, many have ignored the need to hear from God before they pray, freely attempting to engage the evil spirits dwelling in the supernatural realms where we are not, and were never authorized to go. Too many believers have been operating under the notion that we have the authority to command God to act on our behalf - without knowing or caring what God's Will is, or thinking that God's Will must be our own! How presumptuous and pompous of us, and how foolhardy!

Just as the Old Testament patriarch Job was put in his place by God when he questioned God's Will and God terrifyingly answered Job out of a whirlwind, or tornado (read ALL of Job, Chapters 40 through 42!), those of us who presume we are acting under God's authority when we attempt to command angels and demons should be ashamed of ourselves for thinking that we have that kind of authority! It is not, and never has been our place, or God's Will, and what we are actually doing is playing with witchcraft under the false guise of truth when we do this! This is why Yahshua rebuked some of those who claimed that they were doing mighty works in His Name like healing, telling them this:
~*~ Matthew 7:21-22 ~*~ “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
These people claimed to be believers, but did not even know Yahshua, so they could not have been doing the supposed "good" works that they did with God's approval, authority or power, and were rather using the Devil's stolen authority to perform seeming miracles! This is a really sobering thing to face. I know I've been guilty of this, and many others in the Church have also. We all need to repent of this NOW, and seek to do God's Will from now on, and not our own.

The lesson I've learned from this is that we should not engage evil directly unless it manifests itself in something like demonic oppression or possession in our own lives, or in the lives of those we love. That is the only time when we have the authority to exorcise the person or persons affected, and address demons to flee from us or them in Yahshua's Name. Doing something in Yahshua's Name means doing it knowing that we represent Christ and HIS AUTHORITY, and not our own.

We can do everything that we do by the power of Yahshua's Name and His shed blood. But we must remember that we are not attempting to do the work, but are calling on Christ to do the work. Sometimes, we may also need the prayers and intercession of others more grounded in faith to find complete deliverance, as some demonic principalities and powers that are encroaching upon our lives are far too strong for one believer alone to deal with. See 2 Peter 2:10-12 and Jude 8-10 for Scriptures that fully back up what I'm saying here.

IS GREAT WEALTH A SIGN THAT ONE IS SERVING GOD, OR SATAN?

Like it or not, there is ample evidence that Satan is the temporary ruler of this world, and he gives enormous wealth, pleasure, fame and power to those who serve him! With this in mind, it makes me wonder why there is so little difference between the way a Pop Music Star might live, and many Leaders in the Church today. Despite protestations otherwise, many Preachers seem to live in great luxury, and to care little for the poor and needy that adore and bless them for giving them FALSE pleasure and empty hope. For these wicked people, this Maxim holds true:
“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” ~ 1 Timothy 6:10
One biblical test of whether or not a wealthy person is a servant of God or Satan can be found in how they acquire and handle their wealth. Satan’s minions are those who acquire their wealth by making false promises to people, or that offer them fleeting pleasure like most Politicians, Pop Stars and Prosperity Teachers! Satan’s minions are also those who do not sell all that they do not need and give the proceeds to the poor and distressed people who love them, but hold onto the majority of their wealth. As Yahshua said in Luke 18:18-23:
“Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”

So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’ “

And he said, “All these things I have kept from my youth.”

So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

But when he heard this, he became very sorrowful, for he was very rich.” ~ Luke 18:18-23
Based on this Scripture, a wealthy person who is proud, stingy and selfish is likely NOT serving God, but Satan! Despite all the lip service that they may pay to God, this includes many Church Leaders, who live in great luxury while many of those they minister to are suffering without all the basic necessities of life. By wealthy I do NOT mean someone who may own a nice house and a nice car, can afford a nice vacation every now and then, and has enough money saved for emergencies and their retirement. I am talking about people who have thousands, millions or even billions of dollars in assets that they simply do not need to be happy, or to be looked after.

As alluded to in the Gospel of Luke 18:18-23, the Word of God tells us that those who are blessed with wealth within the Church should be generous with others. Those blessed with great wealth should not be stingy with their excess, but should be ready to give out of their excess to all within their community of believers that might have need. This is also echoed in the Book of Acts:
“Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.” ~ Acts 2:44-45
In my opinion, this is the greatest and most overlooked teaching in the New Testament! As laid forth in Acts, believers shared everything with one another as there was need, so that no one went without! Yet its message seems to be completely overlooked by the majority of today’s Churches. Indeed, many professing believers within the Church don’t really know or care about the people that they might sit next to every Saturday or Sunday in Church.

There are, of course, exceptions to this. Even when Church leaders may be deaf to the cries of their needy parishioners, many fellow parishioners are not! They often hear and respond accordingly. In fact, before I had a ministry of my own, other believers extended this sort of generosity to me on several occasions. One time this happened was in 1990, when my husband and I were given several hundred dollars in cash by our church friends when we did not have enough money to pay for rent or to buy food. Another time this happened was in 1994, when we needed to move and could not afford to pay movers or even rent a truck, and many in our Church family gladly helped us without charge. How blessed I felt at these times when our friends in the Church truly exemplified the teachings of Yahshua toward us!

This has also happened very recently when I have suffered from a lack of funds that were needed to pay for the basic necessities of live that help me to retain a home base in order to keep my ministry alive. Several of my brethren in Yahshua have come forward with financial gifts repeatedly to help me when I have asked for it, and I am truly grateful for their continual help, prayers and love! These people have shown me that there truly are believers in the Church today who have embraced all of Yahshua’s teachings, and do their best to live by them.

Sadly though, in almost every case where I have had need and found help among my brethren, Church Leaders have NOT responded, but only my friends. But even friends within a congregation can fail to minister to the needs of those around them at times. Another example from my past illustrates this point:

For a time when I was younger and a new believer, I found myself trying to reconcile my new found faith in God with the pain of my past. I was trying to deal with my negative emotions and personality traits that were a result of being raised in a completely codependent environment by cruel alcoholic parents and siblings, and I found myself reaching out to my new church family at home-group meetings. But many of my new friends in the Church had no idea how to deal with the huge amount of pain that I had experienced.

As a result, many of them brushed it off with platitudes like “That’s all in the past now, and you shouldn’t dwell on it.” or “You are a new creation in Christ, and the past can no longer affect you, so why are you letting it?” Some of them also referred me to the Church counseling office, and told me not to share these hurtful experiences or ask for prayer at my home group because it was “disrupting” the meetings. There were no offers to intercede with prayer or private counseling and mentoring, and no sermons about how to deal with loss or shame - just ostracism and more pain.

This is why I eventually turned to some leaders in my Church to find the emotional help and support I needed. Fortuitously, the Church that I attended at the time ran a professional counseling therapy clinic. However, I initially could not utilize it, as a one hour session cost $65 to $85 an hour even back then (this was between 1993 and 1994), and my husband and I were living below the poverty level at the time. But because I wasn’t able to find emotional healing or intercessory prayer in the home groups I attended, I finally went into their office in an act of desperation and asked if there was some way they could help me anyway. To my surprise, they did not turn me away as I had expected, but gave me some forms to fill out, and said I could submit them to see if they would give me therapy sessions for less.

They did finally agree to see me for $35 a session, which was still beyond what we could pay. I was happy about this, but soon learned that the counseling sessions themselves left much to be desired. They consisted of me talking about my past hurts, and the counselor psychoanalyzing the underlying causes of my pain without offering me much via prayers to say or Scriptural teachings to think about. In fact, they failed miserably by not feeding me spiritually with wisdom from the Bible or with prayer. As a result, they did not nurture me to grow, or give me practical solutions to my problems that I could have found through intercessory prayer, and in a working knowledge of Scripture.

So after almost a year of me crying in pain and them patting me on the back and taking my money, I had had enough and canceled my sessions, saying that I could no longer afford to go there. As an interesting side note, absolutely none of the people in the counseling center, who were all members of the same parish, showed me any sympathy or concern after that, or tried to help or comfort me in any way outside of the counseling office.

Since then, God has laid it on my heart that these sorts of deplorable situations happen constantly in Churches all over the world, especially historically in the Catholic and Protestant Churches in the wealthy Western nations that were once considered to be Christian nations. There is very little love and charity being taught or shown, and many people within the Church are suffering needlessly because they are not being taught how to preach and teach from God’s Word about how to love, pray and give! This is especially true of Mega-Churches and Pastors, where the amount that they take in everyday is completely disproportionate to the amount that they give in return on a daily basis.

As an example, there was a recent story about how Joel Osteen’s church safe was robbed of the offerings earned just on that weekend, which were in excess of $600,000! How much of that huge amount of money do you think goes back into taking care of the poor and needy within their church? I’d wager that very little of it does, despite whatever charity programs or missions they may have.

My message here today is extremely unpopular, and I know that in many cases, it will fall on deaf ears and cause people’s hearts to harden toward me even more. But this is the truth of the Church today, and God will not be mocked by Pastors who are wolves fleecing their sheep, or by sheep that are blind, deaf and dumb to the truth of the Gospel because they refuse to study the Bible or pray on their own, or to seek wisdom directly from God!

Let’s face it! The message that I needed to hear back then in counseling, but which was never preached to me by any Pastor or Counselor that I have listened to, is the reason why we suffer! Despite the great evidence to the contrary, most people suffer enormously due to their own sins committed in ignorance, and the sins of those that have been entrusted to care for them. In addition, Yahshua made it clear that those who truly love and follow Him will suffer unjust persecution in this life. Furthermore, there are many hints in Scripture that believers need to continually pray to God in repentance, and for protection against the attacks of the enemy.

Sadly, however, not one of the Pastors or Counselors I knew in the past ever told me that, or showed me how to protect myself by utilizing the Intercessory Prayers that are found throughout the Psalms, and which I only learned about very recently from several concerned and loving brethren. These are called Imprecatory Psalms, and I wrote two blog articles about protecting ourselves with these psalms, as well as another blog article about not casting Spiritual Pearls before Swine that every believer ought to read. SPIRITUAL WARFARE - PSALM 91, PSALM 140,
AND TWO SAMPLE DELIVERANCE PRAYERS

As an example of this in the Bible, unrepentant sin was behind the sufferings and great losses that the children of Israel experienced as they fell further and further away from serving the One True God, and committed spiritual fornication with other gods. This truly began on a national scale with King Solomon, who - in his later years - had a weakness for pretty women. As a result, he sinned greatly against God because of allowing the foreign women in his harem to worship whichever god they chose and to teach others to do so - a sin that he apparently never repented of.

Sadly, Israel paid dearly for those sins when they followed after Bathsheba’s Hittite gods and the strange gods of Solomon’s foreign harem women, which the people of Israel never fully repented of. That is why both the Kingdom of Israel and the Kingdom of Judah eventually fell to foreign powers, and the Israelites lost EVERYTHING, including their wealth, their freedom, their power, and their land. Their folly is a testament to all future generations that God’s mercy, love and forgiveness do NOT cancel the debts we owe when we sin, and there will always be consequences that need to be paid for our sins unless we repent.

There are also many passages in the books that David and Solomon wrote where the wealth and enjoyment of the enemies of Israel are mentioned in relation to the SUFFERING of God’s servants, including themselves. They talk of how the wicked prosper and have every good thing, while the children of God go without and are cursed.

Part of the reason for this that was sometimes acknowledged by the writers of the Psalms and Proverbs is that there are curses attached to sin by God, and since no one in Israel could keep the Law perfectly, they suffered for it. They all sinned, and were eventually cursed by God with sorrows - both within their families, and nationally as foreign powers began to antagonize and then attack Israel. As God firmly announced to the Israelites:

“Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: 27 the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today; 28 and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.” ~ Deuteronomy 11:26-28

What most believers do NOT realize, however, is that the same curses that God listed later in the Book of Deuteronomy (See Deuteronomy Chapter 27) hold true for sinners today, even if they claim the Blood of Christ for redemption. Unless we repent and plead for mercy after we have sinned, and make amends to those we have sinned against, there are dire consequences that must be paid for all sin that include the loss of property and relationships, and can even cost us our health and our lives.

In fact, despite many false teachings to the contrary, even belief in Christ does not erase the curses that these sins bring upon a person or their world. Furthermore, it does not matter if a professing believer has previously repented of their sins, accepted Christ, been baptized, or even if they currently serve within the Church! For proof of this, read the story of the married couple called Ananias and Sapphira in Acts, Chapter 5! These supposed servants of Christ were both baptized believers within the Church, but they paid dearly for lying to their Church leaders. They also were not given a “fair trial” or a “second chance”! Instead, they died without mercy:
“But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. 2 And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet. 3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? 4 While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”
5 Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things. 6 And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him.
7 Now it was about three hours later when his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. 8 And Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much?”
She said, “Yes, for so much.”
9 Then Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.” 10 Then immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. And the young men came in and found her dead, and carrying her out, buried her by her husband. 11 So great fear came upon all the church and upon all who heard these things.” ~ Acts 5:1-11
This story is in the Bible for a very important reason. It is there to convict people of the seriousness of their sins even under Grace, and their need to learn that the whole Gospel of God never promises riches, wealth, happiness or freedom from hurt or want for anyone in this life, even the most upright and sterling in character among them. We live in a world full of sorrows and tribulations, and the only real comfort we will find in this world either comes directly from God Himself, or from those who truly serve Him and His people out of love. As Yahshua said:
“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” ~ John 15:17-19
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” ~ John 16:33
Yet despite the fact that the world hates those who love Yahshua, our Father God Yahweh is an ever-present help in trouble for those who have faith in Him. As for how this plays out in the lives of believers, it depends on their level of faith and ability to call out to God for help and direction before things get impossibly out of hand. Most often, help comes in answer to our prayers, which have the power to change things on our behalf.

The late Corrie Ten Boom shared her perspective about God’s help while suffering in a German concentration camp by saying that we are always in tribulation when we are true believers because the world hates us. But we find grace and peace to endure it through Yahshua, who is our strength and help in trouble. So even if we are to be martyred, He will be there with us if we ask Him to be, and He will give us the courage and strength we need to the end, when we go to be with Yahshua in Heaven.

In fact, suffering tribulation is one way God uses to develop our character to be more Christ-like. As Paul taught in his letters:
“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope.” ~ Romans 5:1-4
“We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other, 4 so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure, 5 which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer.” ~ 2 Thessalonians 1:3-5
So, as we strive to be worthy of our citizenship in the Kingdom of God, we all need to learn to bear one another up in love, and to serve each other as best we are able until Yahshua comes for us, whether by death or in the Rapture.
~ * ~ Bear One Another In Love! ~ Ephesians 4:1-6 ~ * ~“I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, 2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, 3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”

ARE YOU WEARY OF THIS WORLD TOO?

I just shared this with a friend:

"I know we have to live our lives while we wait for Yahshua's return, but honestly, I can't seem to think about anything else! I mean, I try to do what I need to do around the house, on and for E-bay, and in the garden, and I try to get motivated to share what God is laying on my heart. But it all seems so meaningless now, because none of this world matters anymore, and not many new people are coming into the kingdom as evil increases.

There is a definite heaviness in the air. It's oppressive and hard to shake. But if we keep our eyes on Yahshua and praise Him regardless, I know it will keep us going!"

Just like me, she's feeling the oppression of the enemy in this world, and I shared how I felt the same way. But I also know that the enemy wants to wear us out so we will lose our rewards, and only keeping my eyes on Christ can save me or any other saint from losing such a precious gift.

SO PLEASE KEEP YOUR EYES ON YAHSHUA! Staying focused on Christ will help you to stand strong in His might and keep on going. It will also help if you make an effort to Praise Him and His Father and ours everyday. Also remember to thank Him and invite His Spirit inside. This will help you to preach the Gospel to anyone who will listen, and in spite of everything - even persecution.

Don't get discouraged, but stay strong in Yahshua, for great will be your reward in Heaven one day if you don't give up or give in!

Maranatha!

ANGRY AT GOD? DEPRESSED? BROKENHEARTED?
LET ME ENCOURAGE YOU!

You Are A Pearl Of Great Price! Do Not Cast Your
Pearls Before The Unworthy! Zealously Guard Your
Pearls From Those Who Seek To Destroy You!
~ Matthew 7:6, 13:46 ~

Sometimes, like the prayerful Bride in this winter scene, we may find ourselves in an inhospitable place emotionally - when the world is cold and unforgiving to us. In this winter of the soul, we may find that those we love or care about could care less about us because of our faith, and our pearls of love, kindness and wisdom are reviled rather than cherished. At those times, all we can do to hold onto the peace and joy we experience in Christ is to pray continually to God the Father for ourselves and others, keep our eyes on Yahshua, and ask the Holy Spirit to minister to us, and help us to deal with our pain or sadness.

In my own life, Yahweh God has led me to the point of a near emotional breakdown several times over in order to mold me into the person I am today. God also has brought me into many relationships that have caused far more heartache than joy, even after I prayed and sought His will about them! I am a soldier for Christ that has been toughened in a crucible of troubles, and none of these trials were easy to bear. Frankly, there were times when I was so angry at God that I refused to pray to or acknowledge Him at all for a time.

Thankfully, these times did not last. God’s Spirit eventually found a crack in my bitter armor, Yahshua worked His way in again, and the Spirit of God reached my hard heart to soften it - time and time again. Each time this happened, God reminded me that Yahshua is the Pearl of Great Price, and through Him, I am also a Pearl of Great Price in His Crown, and He loves me, and you, and all of us who love and serve Him with an everlasting love that will never change or die!

I personally think that Yahweh God reaches out to everyone, if they would only believe, and look for Him and His Son Yahshua. God never gives up on any of us while we’re still alive and we are seeking Him. He extends His love and mercy to all of us sinners, even when we have rejected the Gospel, and He continually calls us back to His loving embrace.

But the trouble is that, until people truly believe in the one true God Yahweh even a little, they can’t see Him working in their lives! They are completely blind to Him, and to the truth in His Word due to various demonic strongholds that are associated with rejecting God. These can cause generational sins and curses that are passed down in families for up to ten generations unless a person breaks the hold of that curse by accepting Yahshua and applying His blood to their family line. Those being swayed by such generational curses are incapable of being delivered from them, or the demonic oppression and possession they can cause until they acknowledge their need for deliverance through Yahshua!

In cases where even the mention of Yahshua causes tempers to flare and hatred to burst forth, the best thing we can do is stop throwing our pearls before swine. We need to stop preaching to deaf ears and blind eyes until we ask God to lift their spiritual deafness and blindness, and He does! In the meantime, for our prayers to be effective, we must learn to forgive those who have hurt us. We also need to trust God to meet our spiritual and emotional needs where these lost souls have failed so we hold no bitterness in our hearts toward them.

I pray for many in my family and among my friends that have rejected the Gospel of the Kingdom that I preach, and who have rejected me also. I grieve for them, and ask God to extend His mercy, to intercede, and to save them from themselves, and often God has promised me that He will! So don’t despair! Remember to praise God for His mercy, and ask Him to extend that same mercy to you and others often in prayer! Remember that Yahshua loves you, and will meet you where you are at if you remember to call out to Him and ask for help, comfort, and protection.

In the meantime, remember that Yahshua is coming soon for His Bride and the Five Wise Virgins! Ask God to help you to be ready for this in the Name of His Son Yahshua so that you won’t be left behind. Let go of all bitterness and anger, ask God for forgiveness, claiming the Blood of Yahshua over all known and unknown sins that you may have committed.

Keep praying and seeking God’s Will daily. Don’t ever give up hope and don’t let yourself get discouraged! Keep your eyes on Yahshua, and pray that your oil lamp of the Holy Spirit is full at all times, and that your works are in keeping with God’s Word.

God bless you, and Maranatha!

ANGRY AT GOD? DEPRESSED? BROKENHEARTED?
LET ME ENCOURAGE YOU! READ ON...

Sometimes, like the prayerful Bride in the winter scene above, we find ourselves in an emotional desert or winter where those we love or care about could care less about us and our faith, and all we can do to hold onto our faith is to pray continually to God the Father, and keep our eyes on His Son Yahshua. Analysis of the Chairman’s Prayer for
the 2013 US National Day of Prayer

By Helena Lehman of the
Pillar of Enoch Ministry

On Wednesday May 1st, 2013, I received Christian Political Activist Gary Bauer’s Daily Newsletter in my E-Mail Box and found that it focused on a prayer written by the Honorary Chairman for the US National Day of Prayer. Here is what Gary wrote about it:

“This year’s theme is “Pray For America.” With ongoing economic anxiety at home, chaos and uncertainty overseas, unprecedented assaults on faith (even the meaning of marriage on trial at the Supreme Court), our country is in great need of prayer. Pastor Greg Laurie of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California, is this year’s Honorary Chairman.” - Gary Bauer

Before I share and analyze that prayer, let me tell you my reaction to it. More than anything, I was troubled by Gary Bauer’s and Pastor Greg’s cluelessness of where we are at in the End Times. The wording of the pastor’s prayer tells me that Greg is totally oblivious to the fact that the world is at the brink of World War III, and that America and Israel are surrounded by shared enemies that seek their mutual destruction. He also seems unaware of the fact the Yahshua’s prophecies revealed in the Parable of the Wheat and the Tares, and His Parable of the Sheep and the Goats have been coming to fulfillment through major political and social developments around the world over the past few decades.

The world has never been more polarized or divided, but Pastor Greg didn’t address this stark spiritual division that has taken place in America and the world at all! In fact, he seems clueless that God has brought this dire spiritual state about so that the wicked could be made fully distinguishable from the righteous. He also seems unaware that this has been done so that the wicked can be set aside for judgment, even while the righteous are being secretly marked on their foreheads as the protected and beloved children of the Most High God!

I’ve reproduced the opening portion of the prayer that Pastor Greg wrote for America below in italics, and will comment on it afterward:

Father, we come to You to pray for our nation, the United States of America

How You have blessed us through the years, Lord! We rightly sing, “America, America, God shed His grace on thee.” Yet we see trouble in our culture today. We see the breakdown of the family, crippling addictions, and random acts of horrific violence.

While what Pastor Greg wrote above in the opening of his prayer is true, it is horribly understated! Here is what I think it should say:

“Heavenly Father, while we thank You for all the blessings that You have poured out on America in the past, and we thank You for shedding Your grace upon our nation, we see a tremendous spiritual and moral breakdown taking place in our culture, and in our churches today, that is so intense that it is overwhelming! Our government has been overrun with traitors, just as our churches have been, and we are a people now under demonic siege from within, even as we are being threatened on every side by America’s outside enemies. We are surrounded by wickedness, and huge miscarriages of justice and horrific acts of violence have become commonplace in our nation, and the world! God help us, for our situation is dire!”

As you can see, the major difference between Pastor Greg’s opening words and mine is the keen knowledge that I have of where we are on the End Time timetable based on God’s Prophetic Word. Pastor Greg’s lack of knowledge in this area, and his inability to connect it to current events is a massive problem that has made his prayer and the prayers of countless other believers completely ineffective!

In his prayer, Pastor Greg went on to ask for revival in America, even while the moral division in America is clearly telling those of us with our spiritual eyes open that no such revival is possible right now, but will only take place AFTER the Rapture. This is when many among the masses of apostate Churchgoers that are left behind will repent on their knees to God, and cry out for mercy as they face the terror that will be coming upon the whole world. Keep this in mind as you read the remainder of Pastor Greg’s spiritually tepid prayer:

“Lord, we need Your help in America. In recent days, we have done our best to remove Your Word and Your counsel from our courtrooms, classrooms and culture. It seems, as President Lincoln once said, that we have “forgotten God.” But Lord, You have not forgotten us! You can bless and help and revive our country again.

Scripture tells us that “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people” (Proverbs 14:34). Lord, in Your mercy, we ask that You would exalt our country again. We have had a number of great awakenings in America. We have experienced times of refreshing, and revivals that changed not only the spiritual but also the moral landscape. As the psalmist said, “Will You not revive us again, so that Your people may rejoice in You?” (Psalm 85:6)

That is our prayer for America today, Lord. Send a mighty spiritual awakening that will turn the hearts of men and women, boys and girls back to you. You have told us if we will humble ourselves and pray, and seek Your face and turn from our wicked ways, that You will forgive our sins and heal our land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Forgive us today, Lord, and heal this troubled land that we love so much.

We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ.”

Now, though it is true that America has “forgotten God” as Pastor Greg put it, and that God can also forgive and restore a nation that collectively repents and begs for His renewed favor just as God did for ancient Nineveh and for the Kingdom of Judah for a time, I firmly believe that there is no way that this kind of revival is possible in America, or the world today, and any kind of major revival will not occur until after the Rapture.

At the present, God has divided the Undesirable Tares from the Choice Wheat for Judgment, not for Revival! Furthermore, after the Rapture, those who are left behind that have the good spiritual sense to realize what happened, and who repent of their sins and ask God for forgiveness, will soon be heavily persecuted. In fact, they will be left without a civilized home in this world as the Mark of the Beast system is implemented, and they will have to flee to the wilderness areas of the world to find what refuge they can on their own. In fact, for those who are not wise enough to flee, or fortunate enough to find a secure hiding place, the Bible tells us that they will be rounded up and put to death by beheading.

However, though the wicked “One World” government and religious leaders in charge setting up and governing the New World Order will be hell-bent on killing every new and revived believer, the horrific plagues that Yahweh God will soon pour out on the world will thwart their efforts. In fact, I believe that God will supernaturally protect the Tribulation Saints through all of these plagues, and that there will be designated places of refuge. I also believe that the 144,000 Witnesses chosen by God in Revelation Chapter 7 will shepherd the lost during the Tribulation, and will be charged with leading those who repent to these places of refuge, which will be found all over the world.

Though some say that all the Tribulation Saints will run to Israel to find refuge, I doubt that anyone will be able to travel freely anywhere after the Rapture, which will plunge the world into chaos, and create a massive world crisis that will lock most countries down under Martial law. Furthermore, the tiny nation of Israel is physically too small to hold the millions upon millions of people who will know why they were left behind, and will repent. But I thank God that He will appoint the 144,000 to guide those left behind to find refuge, wherever it may be!

In closing, if I were to be in charge of writing a nationally syndicated prayer for America, mine would read as follows:

“Heavenly Father, while we thank You for all the blessings that You have poured out on the United States of America in the past, and we thank You for shedding Your grace upon our nation, we see a tremendous spiritual and moral breakdown taking place in our culture, and in our churches today, that is so intense that it is overwhelming! God help us, for our situation is dire!

Heavenly Father, I cry out to You now on behalf of this nation, and ask You to open the eyes of the lost, and bind and neutralize the demonic principalities and powers that are over America! I ask that every demonic stronghold in our government and within our churches would be exposed and cast down, in Yahshua’s Name, and by His Blood! I pray that every deceived American and illegal and landed immigrant who is capable of accepting the truth would have a spiritual epiphany through a vision or dream of our Messiah Yahshua, and that they will repent and be baptized with the Holy Spirit before it is too late, for Yahshua is coming soon!

I also pray that the Americans and immigrants who are left behind in the soon coming Rapture will repent and find salvation, and that they will find the places of refuge in the wilderness that You have designated upon the Earth for the Tribulation Saints. Please continue to watch over the righteous in America today, and in the future, Heavenly Father, and do not let this nation’s greatest achievements in the past come to naught!

In Yahshua’s Name I pray, Amen!”

Yahshua is coming SOON! Maranatha!
