BE CAREFUL HOW YOU WAGE SPIRITUAL WARFARE!

I am writing this as a warning to my Prayer Warrior friends out there who - like me - have been suffering a good deal from demonic attack lately because they are regularly praying for the nation and their political leaders - often asking God to bring down, destroy or severely limit various spiritual principalities and powers over our nation's capitol, over various cities, and over various regions of the world.

I was doing the same thing because I had been taught that it is within our authority in Christ to do so. But I now know that this practice is not only unhealthy, but foolhardy, especially if we are not engaging in praise and worship of our Heavenly Father as often or as much! In fact, I now understand that there are some very real limits that human beings need to set around Spiritual Warfare so that they do not bring curses on themselves. These curses manifest when we do not understand the boundaries that surround our inherited power and authority in Yahshua.

For example, when we humbly pray for something specific, requesting God's intervention, and recognizing that only His power and authority can get the job done, God isn't going to turn it into a curse on us, or someone or something else. He will only do that when our request is made with boasting, pride, or selfish ambition, and/or it is interfering with, or trying to target spiritual principalities and powers that are not under our jurisdiction, but that belong solely to God to govern and control.

So - as long as we are praising and worshiping God daily, and then praying for things that are physically needed, like forgiveness, or healing, or spiritual equipping, we are not going to cause any trouble for ourselves or others, and will see real and good results from our prayers. The key to achieving this is to not engage the Devil at all, or mess with His authority, which was given to him by God for a set time and purpose, and is governed by a principality that we have no business messing with. In short, we don't have any right to war against the demonic spiritual principalities and powers in high places directly, but only to ask God to deliver us and our loved ones from demonic attack here on Earth when it manifests in our limited sphere of influence.

Only when we recognize that the unseen principalities governing demonic oppression and attack are not under our jurisdiction will we be delivered from, and protected from direct demonic attack and oppression when we ask. We can command demons to flee in the Name of Jesus or Yahshua, but we cannot demand that God destroy the principality that allows those same demons to attack the unwary. This is because it is God who set up its parameters, and it is God who controls the limits of that principality's extent and power, and not us.

This likely explains why I - and others I know and love - have been suffering so much lately with poor health and financial woes. We have erroneously been trying to wage a spiritual war in the heavenly places without first seeking to love and worship and praise God for what He has already done on our behalf, and what He has promised to do when we ask. Instead, without recharging our spiritual batteries by drawing near to God and getting a fresh infusion of His love and healing touch, we are not caring for our wounded and broken bodies, and are instead rushing headlong into battle unprepared and lacking our SHIELD OF FAITH (See Ephesians 6:16).

We aren't supposed to be commanding God's angels or His Spirit to break down spiritual principalities, and to destroy or bind the powers of wickedness over our nation, over our cities, and over our neighborhoods and homes where we have no business or authority to do so. Instead, we're supposed to be praising and worshiping God, loving Him and ourselves and our neighbors, and basking in His love for us before we ask Him to meet our needs. As a result, we have been cursing ourselves with demonic oppression by not being covered with a hedge of protection through our worship and praise, and we have been improperly interfering with God's and the Devil's authority.

Attempting to bind and destroy spiritual principalities and powers that Yahshua set into place to accomplish the Father's will is a direct affront to God's authority, and this affront sets us up to be cursed rather than protected by God. We all need to learn to stay within our sphere of influence, which extends no further than our homes, our church family, our local politics, and our individual finances. Everything else is - or should be - spiritually off limits!

This limitation to the kinds of spiritual warfare we are allowed to have, and what kind of warfare we have the authority to wage becomes evident when we look at examples of the kind of prayers we ought to be praying. These examples are primarily found in the Gospels, and in the Psalms.

The biggest and best example is when Yahshua or Jesus taught us how to pray by sharing the prayer now known as the "Our Father".  When Yahshua prayed this prayer as an example to us, He did so with humility, not commanding God, but humbly beseeching God, and asking only for our collective and individual spiritual and physical needs to be met.

In His prayer example, Yahshua or Jesus first worshiped the Father by hallowing His Name,or reflecting on the goodness and loving nature of His Character. He then asked God the Father to deliver us from evil or sin. In addition, He asked God to help us to be able to forgive those who sin against us as we await our deliverance in the Rapture, and to seek to work toward the setting up of the Kingdom of God on Earth. There were no curses in His prayer aimed at the Devil or his demons, and no proud commands for God the Father to disarm or destroy the wicked principalities governing various regions of the Earth.

Instead, Yahshua simply commanded the demons to leave the people that they had possessed, and they did. He also directed where the demons could go after they were cast out, such as when He allowed demons to possess a bunch of swine or pigs that then ran head long into the sea and drowned (See Matthew 8:30-32). We can also ask God to cast demons into the Abyss or bottomless pit. Just don't order them to go there by your own authority, but instead remember that we can only act with the limited sphere of authority that God has given to us.

I previously had been erroneously telling the Devil to get out of my life with a measure of pride, foolhardy courage, and contempt for years, and so have many of you - unwittingly cursing yourselves with demonic trouble whenever you do! So please be careful, fellow believers. Do wage Spiritual Warfare daily, but be careful to keep your warfare prayers within the parameters that have been physically assigned to you by God, which are clearly delineated by your own sphere of influence, and do not go beyond it, even as I am now humbly learning to do.

Please remember that the Holy Spirit is not being poured out to bring people to Christ because of our will, or our prayers. It is being poured out because that is what God intended to do all along, just as the prophets of old revealed! The Holy Spirit is and has been poured out many times since Christ died on the Cross to raise up true believers where there once was none, and to show the world that God does not need the help of any believer to fulfill His Great Commission unless they are acting within His Will.

God will accomplish His Will on His own, if necessary, and we should know that He doesn't need our help unless He specifically asks us for it via the Holy Spirit living in us! Sadly, however, many have ignored the need to hear from God before they pray, freely attempting to engage the evil spirits dwelling in the supernatural realms where we are not, and were never authorized to go. Too many believers have been operating under the notion that we have the authority to command God to act on our behalf - without knowing or caring what God's Will is, or thinking that God's Will must be our own! How presumptuous and pompous of us, and how foolhardy!

Just as the Old Testament patriarch Job was put in his place by God when he questioned God's Will and God terrifyingly answered Job out of a whirlwind, or tornado (read ALL of Job, Chapters 40 through 42!), those of us who presume we are acting under God's authority when we attempt to command angels and demons should be ashamed of ourselves for thinking that we have that kind of authority! It is not, and never has been our place, or God's Will, and what we are actually doing is playing with witchcraft under the false guise of truth when we do this! This is why Yahshua rebuked some of those who claimed that they were doing mighty works in His Name like healing, telling them this:

~*~ Matthew 7:21-22 ~*~ “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” 

These people claimed to be believers, but did not even know Yahshua, so they could not have been doing the supposed "good" works that they did with God's approval, authority or power, and were rather using the Devil's stolen authority to perform seeming miracles! This is a really sobering thing to face. I know I've been guilty of this, and many others in the Church have also. We all need to repent of this NOW, and seek to do God's Will from now on, and not our own.

The lesson I've learned from this is that we should not engage evil directly unless it manifests itself in something like demonic oppression or possession in our own lives, or in the lives of those we love. That is the only time when we have the authority to exorcise the person or persons affected, and address demons to flee from us or them in Yahshua's Name. Doing something in Yahshua's Name means doing it knowing that we represent Christ and HIS AUTHORITY, and not our own.

We can do everything that we do by the power of Yahshua's Name and His shed blood. But we must remember that we are not attempting to do the work, but are calling on Christ to do the work. Sometimes, we may also need the prayers and intercession of others more grounded in faith to find complete deliverance, as some demonic principalities and powers that are encroaching upon our lives are far too strong for one believer alone to deal with. THE UN BEAST FROM THE SEA IS RISING, SO THE RAPTURE IS IMMINENT!

Let me share with you some very pertinent and exciting facts that not only suggest, but loudly proclaim that the Beast and Antichrist have now been revealed, and the Rapture is imminent. As you read this, however, you need to remember that the supposed sequence of events that the mainstream Bible Prophecy teachers have held onto for years are only assumptions based on interpretation, and they are very likely wrong in many of their assumptions, as this short article will reveal.

First of all, as I said in earlier posts on my Facebook timeline and Ministry blog recently, we are experiencing tribulation right now, and all believers will and do experience tribulation and persecution if they believe and have faith in Christ, and love and follow Him. Furthermore, there is every reason to believe that we are experiencing the first part of the final End Time Tribulation before God's Wrath is poured out at the opening of the Sixth Seal. Furthermore, there is reason to believe that we are now in the period of the Fifth Seal - as all the recent beheaded martyrs in the Middle East and elsewhere are a testament to.

I believe that this current tribulation period is not a recent one, but is one that has been going on a for a long time, and has seen some of the most horrific persecution of Christians and Jews that the world has ever seen. Students of history should be able to see that this tribulation period began at the onset of World War I, and has continued through World War II and beyond, with the constant wars since then. The reason this should be clear is that over 10 Million civilian Jews and 50 million civilian Christians and people of other faiths died in concentration camps or in mass executions - not only in Germany, Austria, Poland and Russia, but throughout China, Japan and many other Asian countries.

In my opinion, therefore, the first Five Seal Judgments of the Book of Revelation have already been opened, and these mark the first part of the Great Tribulation, or "the tribulation of those days" that Yahshua spoke of in Matthew 24:9 and 24:29, which would come before the Great Tribulation spoken of in Matthew 24:21. Furthermore, this tribulation has been ongoing, and the worst and last portion of the Great Tribulation that will follow it will begin when God's Wrath is unleashed in the very near future. If this is correct, it means that the events spoken of in Matthew 24:29 are actually the events at the opening of the Sixth Seal Judgment in Revelation 6, which also mentions that the the Sun and Moon would be darkened, and the stars will fall from heaven:

~*~ Matthew 24:29 ~*~ “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.”

~*~ Revelation 6:12-13 ~*~ “I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. 13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind.”

These descriptions of events that will take place at the time of the beginning of the Great Tribulation and at the time of the opening of the Sixth Seal are almost identical, and this similarity does strongly suggest that these events are one and the same. Furthermore, the world has already witnessed a whole series of amazing full Lunar Eclipses or Blood Moons and Solar Eclipses or Sackcloth Suns on Jewish Feasts or New Moons, and more Blood Moons and Sackcloth Suns will be upcoming in 2017 and 2018. For further verification of this fact, I have written several articles that show when and how the first Five Seals were opened. Links to these articles can be found at the end of this article.

To further verify my assertion that the Beast and the Antichrist have been revealed, we need to focus on the Scriptures that mention the Antichrist, as follows:

~*~ 1 John 2:18 ~*~  “Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.” 

~*~ 1 John 2:22 ~*~ “Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.” 

~*~ 1 John 4:3 ~*~ “and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.” 

~*~ 2 John 1:7 ~*~ “For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.”

The last verse in particular sets the stage for identifying the antichrist as any one person or nation that denies the fact that Yahshua Ha Mashiach or Jesus the Christ is going to return in the flesh at the climax to the Great Tribulation. This event is known to Bible students as the Second Coming of Christ to fight the Battle of Armageddon.

When taken together, the Bible verses mentioning the antichrist make it clear that there are MANY antichrists, not just one. As another example of this, look at the description of  the Beast from the Sea in Revelation Chapter 13, which is often associated with the Antichrist. It is described as having seven heads. These seven heads can be connected to nations or kings, and the ten horns can be seen as lesser nations or kings that serve the seven top kings or nations. What this means is that the Beast is a system of tyrannical international government that is being controlled by seven nations with ten other leaders or nations that help the first seven nations, and figure prominently in its affairs. In addition, Revelation 17 tells us that this Beast is being ridden or controlled by a Woman or Church that is a wicked Harlot - the antithesis of the Woman Clothed with the Sun described in Revelation 12, which is a past picture of the Yahshua's mother Miriam, as well as a future picture of the Bride of Christ.

Personally, I believe that this Beast is a perfect description of the United Nations Security Council, which has seven permanent member nations that primarily govern its affairs: These are the USA or United States, France, China, Russia, and the United Kingdom or UK, which is really three nations in one: England, Ireland, and Scotland. That accounts for the seven heads of the Beast and the Scarlet Beast in the following Scriptures:

~*~ Revelation 13:1-2, The Beast from the Sea ~*~ “Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. 2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard (i.e. France and Germany), his feet were like the feet of a bear (i.e. Russia), and his mouth like the mouth of a lion (i.e. the United Kingdom). The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.”

~*~ Revelation 17:3-6 - The Woman Sitting on the Beast ~*~ “So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. 5 And on her forehead a name was written: 

MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT,

THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS

AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS

OF THE EARTH. 

6 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.” 

The Woman or Church riding the Beast is a picture of the One World Religion being established by the Vatican and British Crown. It is not just a joining of all the world's faiths into one Pagan religion, but a religion that worships a seemingly benign but desperately wicked goddess, or goddesses of the Earth, and that sees mankind as a parasite that needs to be drastically reduced in number. This Earth worship is hidden in many international government agencies that use catch phrases such as "environmental protection", and "sustainable development".

Many environmentalists and "Climate Change" advocates are part of this worship system, which views humanity as a parasite. Their worship wickedly places the importance of the Earth in the place of mankind, and sees mankind as a disease or virus that needs to be controlled, selectively destroyed, and diminished in order to preserve nature. One only has to take a look at all the power that the United Nations now wields over all of the Earth's natural resources to know this is true. Almost every nation in this world has surrendered their natural resources to UN dictates and laws, including all the highly developed nations like the USA, and all the developed nations of Europe, Africa and Asia.

As another way of identifying these seven heads or nations of the Beast from the Sea, Revelation 13, verse 3 tells us that one of these heads looked as if it was mortally wounded, but then it was healed. That was and is none other than Russia, which fell apart into utter ruin and economic collapse in its 1993 appellation as the USSR or Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, and later was reorganized to eventually become the Russian Federation, which now has one of the strongest economies in the world under President Vladimir Putin.

In addition to the seven main nations that govern the affairs of the United Nations, there are ten non-permanent member nations in the UN, and these vary from year to year, but at least half of them are usually from some part of Europe. These ten nations are represented by the ten horns of the Beast in the Book of Revelation, and we are also told in Revelation Chapter 13 that this Beast will worship the Dragon described in Revelation Chapter 12, which signifies Satan's dominion over the nations of the Earth. Interestingly, this Dragon is described as having seven heads and ten horns, exactly like the Beast from the Sea. This means that the Beast from the Sea is the kingdom of the Dragon, Satan or Antichrist, and this is the demonic final End Time world government that the whole world now calls the New World Order:

~*~ Revelation 12:3-4, The Red Dragon ~*~ “And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. 4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.”

This connection of the Woman riding the Beast, the Red Dragon and the Beast from the Sea is the reason why many people equate this Beast System with the Antichrist, and since the Bible makes it clear that there are many antichrists, it connects to the fact that so many Protestant churches and ministers are now joining with Rome under the Ecumenical banner of the Vatican to form the One World Religion that is signified by the Woman or Harlot that rides the Beast. It also connects to the fact that the member nations of the United Nations have been working tirelessly to take over most of the world's resources under the UN banner, and their sustainable development programs are taking the world in a dangerous humanity-hating direction that is antichristian because their tyrannical lordship over, and worship of the Earth is diabolical in nature.

Tellingly, the Woman or Pope who rides the Beast appears to have all of the same goals as the Dragon, the Antichrist, and the Beast, calling for humanity to accept every religion as one in purpose, and to make it their common objective to preserve and protect the Earth, and to establish world peace at all costs - even if it means accepting what God calls abominable and unclean. For this reason, we can assume that Pope Francis is a representation of the False Prophet, and the President of the United Nations is representative of the Antichrist, although the entire group of leaders in the United Nations are also collectively an Antichrist. This assumption about the Beast fits the available facts given to us in the Bible prophecies of the Book of Revelation very well, as can be seen in this following Scripture:

~*~ Revelation 13:3-4, The Beast from the Sea ~*~ “And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded (the USSR), and his deadly wound was healed (as the Russian Federation). And all the world marveled and followed the beast (which is not just Russia, but all seven leader nations in the United Nations). 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”

The assumption that the Dragon, the Antichrist, and the Beast are a single entity called the United Nations is further reinforced by the fact that the United Nations has become the defacto protector of the Earth, which many of the leaders in the UN may secretly worship as a divine entity known as Gaia by the Ancient Greeks. As such, the UN has assumed the governance of the world's natural resources under the assumption that Climate Change is a man-made problem resulting from human use of fossil fuels, when it is far more likely that the Solar Cycles of our Sun have much more to do with Climate Change, and this suggests that it is a divinely controlled judgment of the Earth that is related to mankind's spiritual rather than physical actions.

Uncannily, most of the nations of the world have completely fallen for this silent and deadly United Nations power grab under the assumption that Climate Change has resulted from the use of fossil fuels, and they have all begun to submit to its mandates concerning the world's environmental systems. As a result, the UN now has the authority to control almost all laws governing land use in all the nations of the world that are involved in the United Nations.

As another sign that the Dragon, the Antichrist, and the Beast are signified by the nations in the United Nations, the main leaders of the United Nations are constantly targeting Israel with their hate. This hate can be seen by the fact that the UN makes much of the false claims of Israel's human rights violations, yet ignores the real human rights violations of her enemies, such as Hamas, Hezbollah and ISIS: Radical Islamic organizations that regularly  torture, rape, kill and dismember Christians and Jews. Furthermore, even now, the UN is setting itself up to be the driving power behind enforcing the "Two State Solution", or evil plan to divide Israel into Israel and Palestine. Variations of this plan are to be voted on by the United Nations assembly just before Passover this April 22nd, 2016, and other talks concerning this two state solution are also scheduled for June of 2016.

If this division of Israel is set about to be enforced by the UN sometime this year, then it is safe to say that God's Wrath will soon be poured out against all the nations represented by the UN. Sadly, by virtue of their membership in the UN - all the UN member nations, which signify the whole world, are wittingly or unwittingly standing against Israel - and this means that the entire world is plotting against Israel along with the UN leader nations.

Now, it is my guess that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government will not allow this division to take place without a fight, which means they may be prepared or forced to use their military might against the world. Since we know that God has vowed in His Word to protect Israel during the upcoming war of Gog and Magog, it is apparent that those nations that go against Israel at this time will be defeated, and Israel will retain some control of its fate - although it may finally agree to give up Jerusalem to be trodden upon by the Gentiles - and occupied and governed by the Antichrist or UN - to keep the peace.

Incidentally, there is no doubt in my mind that Rosh and Magog, which the Prophet Ezekiel mentioned as being major players in the War of Gog and Magog in Ezekiel 38, are referring to Russia. Here is a map I created that shows why I believe this. It ties a history map showing the borders of the USSR in 1922 with an older secular map of a portion of Russia. This old map was created in 1874, and it clearly identifies a portion of Russia as Magog:

Since all of the events surrounding the War of Gog and Magog may happen in the very near future, and it will trigger God's Wrath against the nations that stand against Israel (and this includes all the nations that are a part of the United Nations Security Council), we who love Christ, and are alive and able to witness this as it unfolds are to be taken in the Rapture shortly after these things take place, or begin to take place. Because we believers know this, and we are seeing it unfold even now, we should all be preparing for the imminent Rapture of the saints, and the Wedding of the Lamb! To be prepared to be taken in the Rapture, and to not be left behind, we all need to repent of all our sins daily, forgive all those we need to forgive, and make amends to all we need to make amends to, in so far as we are able.

So get ready, Tribulation Saints! Your deliverance from this wicked world in the Rapture is coming very, very soon! ANOTHER SIGN IN THE HEAVENS: THE MESSIAH PLANET JUPITER STRUCK!

On Thursday, March 17th, 2016 (which happened to be Saint Patrick's Day), some amateur astronomers recorded what looked to be an asteroid strike on the planet Jupiter. This is the planet that is prophetically connected to Yahshua or Jesus in His role as our Suffering Messiah, as described in Isaiah 53:5, where it says: “With His Stripes, We Are Healed!”. This may allude to the red and white stripes on Jupiter, as well as to the angry red scourge marks on Christ's body that were present at the time of His crucifixion. Please see the online news articles linked to below this blog post to read about the impact, and to see the video that the amateur astronomers caught the impact flash on Jupiter with.

When I saw this, it immediately brought to mind another recorded celestial bombardment of Jupiter in July of 1994. At that time, beginning on the day of mourning known as the 9th of Av on the Jewish Calendar, Jupiter was bombarded by 21 fragments of the Comet Shoemaker-Levy 9, which was named after two Jewish astronomers. The comet broke up and crashed into the heavy atmosphere of Jupiter over a period of 7 days.

I wrote about the possible prophetic significance of this celestial bombardment in my book "The Language of God in Prophecy". At that time, I was shown that the comet and its fragments represented 22 years following 1994, and that this would be an intense time of persecution for both Houses of Israel - a time period where the wicked would wound the heart of Christ, which was represented by Jupiter being struck by those 21 comet fragments. Also at the time, I thought this 22 years would include the Rapture and Great Tribulation, but I was partly wrong.

It now appears that this period of 22 years, which will end in July of 2016, is signifying THE 22 YEARS OF PERSECUTION OR TRIBULATION OF THE SAINTS BEFORE THE GREAT TRIBULATION. But this new bombardment of Jupiter may indicate that there is another coming year of intense persecution, which may be meted out against the new believers that will rise up out of those who are left behind.

The object that caused this impact flash may also be a fragment from one of the two lovely Emerald Green Comets that just passed the Earth, whose tail debris the Earth is scheduled to pass through very soon. Comet P/2016 BA14 passed the Earth at a distance of 2.2 million miles (3.5 million kilometers) on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2016, making it the third-closest fly-by ever recorded. The comet wasn't visible to the naked eye, and required a professional-grade telescope to witness. It was closest to Earth around 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time that day. This fly-by came hot on the heels of another comet, 252P/LINEAR, which streaked past the planet at a distance of 3.3 million miles (5.3 million km) on Monday, March 21st, 2016 - just 4 days after the impact on Jupiter was recorded. After it passed, Comet Linear brightened enough to be seen in the early morning hours before dawn with the aid of binoculars.

The passing of these two comets, and the mild meteor shower that their debris field may soon cause in the Earth's upper atmosphere, and this new bombardment of Jupiter could be warning signs that the Wrath of God is about to be poured out. I believe that God's Wrath is directed at the wicked upon the Earth after the Rapture in response to the heavy Jewish and Christian persecution going on in the world right now, which I firmly believe is tied to the Fifth Seal cry of the martyrs.

Interestingly, the Hebrew Alphabet has 22 letters, and the 22nd year from the Shoemaker-Levy 9 bombardment of Jupiter is 2016. This means that 2016 corresponds with the Omega or "X" shaped Tav of the Proto-Hebrew Aleph-Bet, which signifies the Cross of Christ. Furthermore, I was shown that Psalm 116 is prophetically connected to 2016, and this Psalm comes just before Psalm 117, the exact MIDDLE chapter of the Bible, and also the shortest chapter in the Bible. At one time, I thought 2017 signified the year that Yahshua would return to fight the Battle of Armageddon after a sever-year Tribulation between 2011 and 2017. But I was wrong because the Bible Prophecy teachers I had trusted and learned from were wrong about many things that they pass off as fact, when it is only theory based on interpretation.

No longer trusting the Bible Prophecy teachers, I did my own intense research, and came up with a largely differing view of what believers will be subjected to before the Rapture and Great Tribulation. First of all, I now believe that the Rapture is a Mid-Tribulation event, and that believers will be on the Earth until the Sixth Seal is opened, and the Wrath of God truly begins to be poured out. I also believe that the inhumanity of ISIS and other Radical Muslim Terrorists toward others, especially Jews and Christians, is a sign that the Fifth Seal has already been opened. Therefore it is highly likely that the Wrath of God that will start with the 6th Seal Cosmic disturbances of the Earth in space, and that will escalate with several terrifying Celestial bombardments described by the Seventh Seal and First through Fourth Trumpet Judgments, is rapidly approaching.

This leads me to ask: "Could this new bombardment of Jupiter be a warning that the Wrath of God is coming soon, and that the Rapture is about to take place? We can only hope and pray that this is the case, for no one knows the exact day or hour. But I am hopeful that this year could truly be the year of the Rapture. So keep looking up, and trust Yahshua to provide for you, protect you and to give you His peace that transcends all understanding until He comes to take us home.

THE RAPTURE PROMISE AT THE RESURRECTION!

Did you know that our beloved Messiah Yahshua or Jesus said something very important about Heaven that is connected to the Rapture right after His resurrection from the dead, and He chose to tell it to none other than Mary Magdalene? Well, it's true! But if you are unfamiliar with Scripture, you may not have heard about it before. So let me enlighten you with this astounding truth of what Christ said to Mary on that Sunday, or first day of the week during Passover Week, and what it meant:

~*~ John 20:16-17 ~*~ “Jesus said to her, “Mary!”
She turned and said to Him, “Rabboni!” (which is to say, Teacher).
Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’”

Astoundingly, at that time, Jesus told this beloved, formerly demonized, but fully reformed woman named Mary, who was His dear friend, that He was ascending to Heaven on that very day, which was the day of the Firstfruits Offering in the Temple to Yahweh in Jerusalem during the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which was also known as Passover Week. Therefore, just as the wave sheaf offering of some of the "early-ripened" Barley stalks of the Spring Harvest were presented before God the Father in the Temple Holy Place, Christ was presenting Himself as the Firstfruits of the Resurrection to His Father in the Heavenly Temple!

This ascension into Heaven immediately after the Resurrection of Christ is a type or foreshadowing of the prophetic promise of the coming First Resurrection and Rapture, or catching away of the saints to Heaven that is mentioned in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, where it says:

~*~ 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 ~*~ “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”

This is likely going to happen in the near future, allowing the newly resurrected saints to participate in the Wedding of the Lamb of God in Heaven. This will happen before these same saints return with Christ to an Earth ruined by the Wrath of God. At that time, the saints will aid Christ and his holy angels in fighting the Battle of Armageddon, when the armies of the Devil aligned against Christ and His saints will perish in the Valley of Jezreel or Megiddo, which is just south of the Sea of Galilee (also known as Lake Tiberius). Then the Millennial Rule of Christ will be set up, and we will aid Christ in restoring and renewing the Earth at that time so that it will be fit for human and animal habitation once again. Isn't that amazing and wonderful?! I sure think so!

As this video that I've linked to below tells in a reenactment of the Gospel of Matthew, the First Resurrection actually began with the raising up of many saints in the Holy land right after Yahshua rose from the dead. Like Yahshua's presentation before God the Father in Heaven on the Day of the Firstfruits Offering, this limited First Resurrection of the Saints was a foreshadowing of the Rapture or Catching Away of the Tribulation Saints to Heaven:

That's why I like to say "Maranatha!", which means "Come, Oh Lord!" {See 1 Corinthians 16:22, which says: “If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. O Lord, come!” or, with some Hebrew and Greek added, says “If anyone does not love Adonai Yahshua Ha Machiach, Anathema! Maranatha!”. Also see my footnote at the end of this article}. 

We believers do not say Anathema! and Maranatha! idly, because the wickedness of this current world tells us that Christ's return is imminent, and many of us watching with great longing for His soon arrival. Footnote: 1 Corinthians 16:22 contains the Greek expression "Anathema" or "Accursed" where it is translated "let them (i.e. apostates) be accursed!". This is followed by "Maranatha", which means "The Lord Comes" or "The Lord is Coming". This part of 1 Corinthians 16:22 should therefore most likely read: "Let them be accursed (or left behind) at the Lord's coming (in the Rapture)!"

THE CONNECTION OF ASH WEDNESDAY AND LENT WITH THE JEWISH FASTS

Seasons of Repentance filled with prayer and fasting and seeking God's Face are highly important parts of our walk with God, although there are no Biblical Feasts that specifically call for this. That is why the Church has created the traditional time for this called Lent, and the Jews have created the traditions surrounding the Three Weeks, and the Days of Awe.

This is also why, whenever Jewish or Gentile believers in Christ say that Christians who commemorate Ash Wednesday and Lent are engaging in biblically false practices, they are not speaking the truth. Sadly, however, these sorts of false doctrinal disputes are rampant in the Church and in Messianic Synagogues today. That is why we need to remember that some Messianic Synagogues and Christian Churches are deeply flawed, and ALL churches and synagogues are flawed in one way or another because human beings are notorious for allowing truth to be mixed with varying degrees of error due to sin. We also need to remember that there is enough of the truth in some of the most deeply flawed Churches to still be called Christian, and in some of the most deeply flawed synagogues to still be called Messianic.

Our objective then, is to lead people in these imperfect Churches and synagogues to a have a better understanding of the Gospel of Salvation, and the Gospel of the Kingdom. Unfortunately, some believers in the wayward churches like the Catholic Church are not encouraged to read their Bibles, so they only know the "not necessarily biblical" doctrines of their Church by heart, rather than what the Word of God says. So, as a way to reach the lost among them, we would be wise to quote all the relevant Scriptures that uphold our position, rather than merely sharing some truth in a way that sounds like an attack. That way, we are more likely to reach people, and to not get kicked out of groups. I learned this the hard way after getting kicked out of many groups on Facebook, and in various online forums.

One of these truths is not really a truth at all, however, and this is true of many supposed truths that specifically attack any and all of the Christian high holy days. One of the oft-repeated claims among some legalists and Judaizers is that Ash Wednesday is not a biblically sound holy day, nor is Lent a biblically mandated fast. But I would beg to differ. A cursory examination of the various rituals and themes in the Bible show that repentance, fasting and prayer are all biblically-sound things that believers are called to do occasionally to keep themselves on the straight and narrow path that leads to everlasting life, and that is what people are called to do during Lent.

Much for the same reasons, the Jews have a three-week period of mourning before the commemoration of the destruction of God's Temple in Jerusalem on the 9th of Av. Although it is not recognized as such, the 9th of Av is analogous to Good Friday, which commemorates Christ's death on the Cross, or the destruction of the Temple of His Body. So the 40 day fast of Lent that begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Easter or Resurrection Sunday has a Jewish counterpart that also is not Scriptural in the sense that God did not directly tell the Jews to have three weeks of fasting and prayer between the 17th of Tammuz and the 9th of Av, nor did God tell the Jews to commemorate the destruction of the Temple.

Of course, there are some Biblical Feasts and commemorations that we are specifically called to do by God. Just as Jews are called to commemorate the lambs that were offered to pay for their sins and save their lives from the curse of the Angel of Death on the first Passover, Christians are called to be witnesses to the truth of the need for Christ's death as the Lamb of God. In fact, Christians partake of Communion, or the Lord's Supper because Yahshua or Jesus specifically asked His followers to do so in order to remember what He was willingly about to do for them on the Cross.

The nine days of Awe between Rosh Hashanah or the Feast of Trumpets, and the Day of Atonement or Yom Kippur are also considered to be a time for repentance, fasting and prayer. But this period of repentance was not a specifically mandated part of the Mosaic Law. Nonetheless, like the Lenten season in Christianity, the fasting and prayer connected to the Days of Awe are traditions that make sense - especially given the importance of the Day of Atonement, which also has a connection to Christ's death on the Cross.

It is said that on Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement, if our names are not written on our Heavenly Father's Book of Life, we are not destined to be resurrected into everlasting life on the last day, but are instead doomed to destruction. And this is exactly why Christ died! Christ died so that He could pay the blood price for our sins, and we could inherit everlasting life and have our names written in the Book of Life through belief in Him. So though we receive this gift by faith in Christ, the Jews must fast and pray and repent to obtain this temporary favor from God.

Without Christ, the Jews must prostrate themselves before God every year to obtain a poor reflection of the salvation that believers obtain when they agree to believe in, love and follow Christ, and they receive the Holy Spirit. For believers in Christ, the Spirit of God is the Seal of God's promise of our Salvation, and our direct link to the throne of God - a link that unbelieving Jews have sadly lost. So you see, Ash Wednesday and Lent are not evil or wrong. There is some truth to be found in them, and that is the fact that we all need to fast and pray and repent at times, and to remember why Christ had to die for our sins. If we do not, our walk of faith with God and Christ would not be much of a walk!
