The Prophetic Meaning of the May 26th Triple Conjunction

As a Sacred Astronomer, I find it fascinating to observe the Signs in the Heavens to see what God might want to reveal to His servants here on Earth. But rarely do I get so many requests to analyze a sign as the Triple Conjunction of Planets on May 26th, 2013. On that night, the Messiah Planet Jupiter, the Morning Star Venus, and the planet Mercury will form a perfect triangle in the horns of Taurus near to the star “El Nath” shortly after sunset. In addition, a less perfect triangle will be visible on the 27th, and then on the 28th, Mercury will be directly in line with El Nath, and Jupiter and Venus will form a tight conjunction nearby.

I’ve had three sisters in Christ pointedly ask me what this triple conjunction may mean prophetically, and this alerted me to the fact that the triangle that will form in the horns of Taurus may be more important than I first assumed. This is really not surprising since Taurus represents both the patriarch Joseph, and the power and prosperity of the Gentile West, especially Europe, the United States and the United Kingdom. In this regard, as shown in my book “The Language of God in Prophecy”, the left horn is connected to Joseph’s son Manasseh and represents the United Kingdom, the right horn signifying Joseph’s son Ephraim represents the United States, and the body of the Bull signifies the European Union.

But when I set aside some time to look more closely at this sign this morning, I found that this triple conjunction will not only appear in the horns of Taurus, but that it will sit like a crown above the head of the messianic constellation Orion, which signifies the Risen Christ coming in power to conquer the wicked at the Battle of Armageddon. I also was surprised when I found this written in Chapter 6 on page 318 of my book “The Language of God in the Universe”:

“When Taurus appears in the 12 o'clock position in our modern sky, Scorpio is at the 6 o'clock position. Therefore, when Taurus rises, Scorpio disappears! Taurus therefore partly symbolizes the wrath of God that will destroy Satan, and his evil followers. This was made abundantly clear when the Great Flood occurred on the evening of May 27th, 2347 BC. On that night, the planet Venus signifying Christ as the bright Morning Star, and Yah’s enlightenment through the Holy Spirit was in Taurus - the celestial symbol for the terrible unleashing of Yah’s righteous wrath in judgment.”

I’d found the above gem of a paragraph when looking for the meaning of the star “El Nath” at the tip of the left horn of Taurus. Directly below that paragraph, I’d written that “El Nath” means “Wounded” or “Slain” in Arabic. That’s significant since the left horn of Taurus is connected to the Patriarch Joseph’s son Manasseh, and it suggests that the nations connected to Manasseh, or the United Kingdom will turn against God in the End Times, and these nations will need to be slain or wounded by God. What’s more, this conjunction of planets will appear when the body of Taurus the Bull has set below the horizon with only its horns still visible, meaning that head of Scorpio the Scorpion - the sign of Satan and His followers in rebellion against God - will be rising in the east!

Fascinatingly, this month’s Moon is a Super Moon, meaning the Moon is at one of its closet points to Earth as it orbits our planet, and will actually be somewhat larger in our skies due to this. Some believe that Super Moons are behind increased earthquake activity and more sever weather patterns on the Earth, though it has not been proven. In addition, there was a slight penumbral Eclipse of the Full Moon in the late evening of May 24th and early morning of May 25th in the head of Scorpio the Scorpion that may have been meant to herald the Triple Conjunction beginning May 26th as an evil omen for the wicked.

Significantly, the preceding paragraph from my book “The Language of God in the Universe” said that the planet Venus was in the horns of Taurus at the time of the Great Flood. Therefore, I found it an intriguing coincidence that the planet Venus will again be in the horns of Taurus on May 27th this year. On Page 151, in Chapter Four of the aforementioned book, I explained what Venus’ position in Taurus at the time of the Great Flood meant: 

“On the day that the Flood began, the planet Venus (the Light of Yah and the Morning Star) was in Taurus, which symbolizes God’s blessings to the Gentiles, as well as His wrath and judgment upon all humanity. This may have indicated that, through the judgment of the Flood, a blessing would come to the remaining people of Earth through the descendants of Seth and Noah. Also on that fateful day, Venus’ position in the sign signifying a charging bull suggests that the antediluvians had rejected the enlightenment that Yah shared freely through the symbolism in the stars. As a result, like a wild, angry bull, God would trample upon the unrepentant wicked. Due to Yah’s righteous wrath at the time of the Flood, all terrestrial creatures were exterminated - all except those that were housed in the Ark.” 

In a significant way, this entire paragraph about the meaning of the heavenly signs at the time of the Great Flood uncannily describes what Venus in Taurus means today. As we near the time of Jacob’s Trouble that is so clearly being heralded by the Blood Moon Tetrad on Jewish Feasts in 2014 and 2015, there’s no doubt that this Triple Conjunction in Taurus is another clear sign that we are entering another time of unprecedented trouble in human history that will closely rival the Great Flood in severity and destructiveness.

The extremely bright planet Venus, which represents our Messiah as “the Bright and Morning Star” of Revelation 22:16 is a very powerful sign. But it is even more significant when coupled with Jupiter, the near-equally bright and far larger planet that signifies Yahshua as our Atonement Sacrifice and High Priest before God. Not only that, but Mercury - which signifies Enoch the Scribe of Righteousness, and also Noah in his role as the preserver and editor of Enoch’s writings - will join them in a magnificent triangular conjunction that will be visible low in the western horizon shortly after sunset on May 26th, 2013.

In an amazing way, this triune grouping of planets is suggestive of the Triune nature of God. As the Spokesperson or Word of God to mankind, Yahshua or Jesus can be equated with Mercury, the Divine Messenger; the immense Messiah planet Jupiter can be tied to God the Father; and the bright planet Venus, with its feminine associations, can be tied to the Holy Spirit. As such, this triangular conjunction in Taurus is like a beacon from the Throne of God, beckoning the faithful to draw near as troubles and tribulations on the Earth increase. Intriguingly, the star “Al Cyone” or “The Center” in the Pleiades on the back of Taurus the Bull may not only signify the Church of Philadelphia, but the literal center of the Universe, and the allegorical home of the Throne of God, where the prayers of the faithful followers of Yahshua are presented and answered.

At the same time that this Triple Conjunction is occurring in the West, the Moon will be just below the eastern horizon in the Dark Rift region in the center of the Milky Way Galaxy, which is located in the sign of Sagittarius the Archer. This is a very significant position, as it marks the current location of the Sun on the Winter Solstice, which is the shortest day of the year. As the shortest day, the Winter Solstice can be seen as the point where darkness or evil has reached its maximum point and seems to have triumphed, though it can grow no worse. However, though the Dark Rift heightens this illusion of darkness triumphing at the heart of the Milky Way Galaxy, the truth is that this marks the point when the days are going to get longer, and light will triumph over darkness again.

Three Conjunctions in Taurus on May 28th, 2013:

With the Sun signifying the power of God in Taurus moving into alignment with the Hyades star cluster in the head of the Bull on May 28th, and the War planet Mars aligning with the Pleiades star cluster on Taurus’ back on the same date, this message of drawing near to God as troubles increase is strengthened exponentially. This is because both of these star clusters signify believers within the Church, with the Hyades suggestive of the Bride of Christ and Five Wise Virgins represented by the Church of Philadelphia, whose generally materially impoverished members have the heart and sight of God, while the Pleiades symbolically represents five of the Seven Churches in the Book of Revelation. These can be seen as the Five Foolish Virgins who will be left behind when the Rapture takes place.

Since five of the seven stars in the Pleiades are tied to the Five Foolish Virgins, it indicates that a large portion of the Church is apostate, and is in for a rough ride on the back of the raging heavenly Bull called Taurus! In fact, since Mars is the planet associated with Blood Sacrifice, its alignment with the Pleiades is a dire warning of the increasing persecution and martyrdom of believers worldwide, as well as the Great Deception that will come upon the Laodicean Church in the Last Days, and make it impossible for them to take part in the Rapture. Spiritually tepid and blind, many of those in the Laodicean Church who do not wake up immediately after the Rapture will follow the Antichrist into perdition as the Woman who rides the Beast, and the Harlot on the Scarlet Beast in the Book of Revelation, Chapters 13 and 17.

As I looked through my book “The Language of God in the Universe” further, I also noticed this section on pages 322-23 that caught my attention. It describes the meaning behind a prophecy concerning the Day of the Lord, or the Tribulation period:  

“In the following Scripture, Ephraim is paired with the Tribe of Judah as weapons that Yah wields against His enemies on the Day of the Lord:

“For I have bent Judah, My bow, Fitted the bow with Ephraim, and raised up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece, and made you (Zion) like the sword of a mighty man. Then the LORD (Yahweh) will be seen over them, and His arrow will go forth like lightning. The Lord GOD (Adonai Yahweh) will blow the trumpet, and go with whirlwinds from the south.” - Zech. 9:13-14 (NKJ) 

In the preceding passage, the phrase Adonai Yahweh is used to refer to God Almighty. In my study of Scripture, any time the term Adonai is used, it is a passage referring to God’s Son, Yahshua. Furthermore, Adonai or Christ is wielding Judah and Ephraim as weapons against a nation symbolically called “Greece.””

In my books, I explain how there is a strong connection between the Tribe of Ephraim and the United States, and the Tribe of Judah with the nation of Israel on a national level. But they also have a strong spiritual connection. In that regard, Ephraim represents the mixed people and nations of the Gentiles that are saved, born again, adopted as Israelites, betrothed to Yahshua, and ready for the Rapture, while Judah signifies born-again Messianic Jews. Meanwhile, the term “Greece” can signify all the unsaved Gentiles on the Earth that have adopted the Greco-Roman culture - and this includes the entire civilized world!

This passage in Zechariah has a strong connection to “The Hidden Prophecy in Psalm 108”, which I deciphered in my book “The Language of God in Prophecy”. Significant Heavenly Signs on the Summer Solstice of 2013

Though most people are unaware of the allegorical importance of solar equinoxes and solstices, there is a great deal of spiritual significance to each of them. Just as the Winter Solstice represents the dawn of hope and victory in a world filled with evil, the Summer Solstice signifies its opposite. On the Summer Solstice, the daylight is at its longest point, and the darkness of night is at its shortest. As such, it signifies the momentary triumph of good over evil. By the same token, however, it also signifies the renewing of the war of evil, or darkness against good, or light.

On the Summer Solstice of June 21st, 2013, the Signs in the Heavens will tell a similar but slightly different story from those observed in May of 2013. For example, instead of having a Triple Conjunction of planets above Orion’s Head, the Sun representing God the Father, and Jupiter representing Yahshua will be over Orion’s Sword, which touches the Ecliptic near the tip of the right horn of Taurus. The Bull’s right horn is marked by the star called Zeta Tauri, which is below the star El Nath marking the left horn.

The left horn of Taurus signifies the apostate or Laodicean Church that will become the Woman who rides the Beast. The Laodiceans are lukewarm, apostate “Christians” that advocate the use of verbal intimidation, physical threats, and heavy violence to obtain a given end. Meanwhile, the Right Horn of Taurus signifies the righteous followers of Yahshua among the Gentiles who understand that Christ did not advocate violence or verbal abuse of any sort. They therefore fight evil on the Earth in a non-violent and loving fashion, and will do so until they are taken to Heaven in the Rapture.

This juncture of the Ecliptic or path of the Sun with the tip of Orion’s Sword and the tip of the right horn of Taurus indicates that it is a symbol of God’s Sword or Wrath, which is to be poured out on the wicked by Yahshua and His holy angels, but NOT His resurrected saints, who will only be there to witness the divinely executed carnage during the Battle of Armageddon (See Rev. 19:15).

With the Sun and Jupiter both occupying this powerful “war” position above Orion’s Sword, it is a herald of the approach of that great epic war between good and evil. I believe that this epic confrontation will begin - at least in its initial stages - when Israel will face great peril from her enemies. This will likely be sometime before or just after the First Passover Blood Moon of the Blood Moon Tetrad of Full Lunar Eclipses falling on Jewish Feasts. The first of these four consecutive Blood Moons will fall on Passover of 2014, and the last one will fall on the Feast of Tabernacles, or Sukkot in 2015.

In addition to the Sun and Jupiter over Orion’s Sword, Venus and Mercury will be taking counsel together in Gemini the Twins, which signifies the warring brothers Jacob and Esau making a true Covenant of Peace through Yahshua and the Gospel of the Kingdom. While the Wedding of the Lamb in Heaven is the ultimate fulfillment of this Covenant of Peace, there will be a false one set up on Earth between the modern descendants of Jacob and Esau that will not bring peace, but a sword via the Sword of Orion or Christ! This false Covenant of Peace surrounds the Two State Solution that plans to divide Israel in two. As such, it is a wicked plan that God will ultimately overthrow. As it says in Scripture:

~*~ Joel 3:1-2 ~*~

“For behold, in those days and at that time,
When I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 I will also gather all nations,
And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;
And I will enter into judgment with them there
On account of My people, My heritage Israel,
Whom they have scattered among the nations;
They have also divided up My land.”

Fascinatingly, the War planet Mars will be near to the Hyades star cluster in the face of Taurus, and in conjunction with a small short period Comet known as Wirtanen 46P. It will be visible, appearing to look like a third magnitude star below Mars, and it can clearly be seen in the Starry Night illustration for June 21st, 2013 above.

Significantly, Comet 46P was discovered in January of 1948 - the same year that Israel was re-born. Furthermore, it is associated with the Jupiter family of comets, and Jupiter is the Messiah Planet representing Yahshua as the Great High Priest and the Suffering Servant. Even more fascinating, the debris field of Comet 46P lies in the sign of Pisces the Fishes, which is a symbol of the Two Houses of Israel called Judah (Jewish believers) and Israel (Gentile believers) - though these two houses are often identified as Judah and Ephraim in prophetic Bible passages.

The conjunction of Mars with this comet therefore suggests that war will be coming to Israel in the near future. With Mars between Taurus’ horns, the planet’s association with bloodshed and blood sacrifice indicates that there will be no lasting peace between the sons of the Promise, or Messianic Jews and Christians, and the sons of disobedience, or the Palestinians and other Arab and Asian enemies of Israel. As such, like the signs in May, this sign is pointing to the nearness of the ultimate battle between the Sons of Light and the Sons of Darkness.

As an authenticating mark on this interpretation, the nearly Full Moon will be in the head region of Scorpio the Scorpion on the night before the Summer Solstice. As already mentioned, Scorpio signifies the wicked that follow Satan and his demons. But in this position, the Moon representing the apostate churches, and Satan’s head signifying those lost in the Occult, are under the feet of the Strong Man Ophiuchus, who signifies Yahshua as the Divine Power holding back evil in the world, and in the hearts of men.

This concludes my look into the current heavenly signs that Yahshua told us to pay attention to as the Rapture, and the Day of the Lord approach. In the near future, I hope to post an article looking at the signs surrounding the Feast of Trumpets, Sukkot, and the spectacular appearance of the Great Comet ISON shortly after the Full Hybrid Solar Eclipse of November 3rd, 2013, when the Sun, Moon and Saturn will be between Libra the Scales and the feet of Virgo the Virgin (a symbol for the Bride of Christ).

As a peek into my thoughts about these future signs, I believe they may mark the beginning of World War III and the opening of the Fifth Seal when the numbers of the martyrs for Christ will be increased, followed by the opening of the Sixth Seal Earthquake and Sudden Destruction, and the Seventh Seal Rapture of the Saints being rescued out of the middle of the Tribulation.

According to major Heavenly Signs between 2010 and 2018 that have been discussed in several previous Blog posts - including the one linked to HERE - the Tribulation may have begun with the Blood Moon over the Sword of Orion on December 21st, 2010, on the Winter Solstice. This means that the mid-point of the seven year Tribulation period will be in June of 2014, and by this time, Israel may have already partly won a major war against her enemies that will cause World War III, and the rising up of One World government of the Antichrist.

For now, all I am absolutely certain of is that we are in the End Times, and that the Tribulation already started. In fact, by my estimation, we are already experiencing the effects of the first Four Seals in the Book of Revelation, which I believe may have already been opened. After all, the Wrath of God isn’t announced until AFTER the Sixth Seal is opened, and this Seal is opened in verse 12 of Revelation, Chapter 6. This is when many awakened Watchmen like me believe that the Rapture of the Bride of Christ and her Five Wise Virgin Handmaidens should occur, especially since the Wrath of God is not officially announced until verses 16 and 17 of the same chapter:

“Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” - Revelation 6:16-17

So please keep looking UP, and keep you eyes on Yahshua! Our deliverance from this wicked world is indeed coming soon, though we may have to live through some increasingly rougher days for a short time until the Pre-Wrath Rapture of the Church.

CLOSING NOTE: It’s interesting how many people will read this Heavenly Sign article and assume that I am date setting, because I am NOT, with one exception. I believe that God left clear Signs in the Heavens marking the years of the Tribulation - signs that no man can alter, and that Yahshua our Messiah implicitly told us to watch for. This is why those of us who are striving to be counted worthy to be the Bride of Christ are excited and expectant to see our heavenly Bridegroom soon! In fact, many of us think that if believers aren't excited to see Christ’s coming, and don't watch for it, they may not be ready when He does come!

There are also some who like to point out that the Heavenly Signs aren’t a sure marker of God’s unfolding Will either, because anyone can read the Heavenly Signs once they train themselves to do so. In fact, ancient records like the Bible - in reference to Herod’s slaughter of the innocents, for example - prove that powerful people can, and often do, try to alter the course of history to thwart God’s plans.

But I believe that God is a Master Chess player because He knows the moves of His adversaries in advance, and has therefore put His own fail-safe counter plans in place. So, no matter what people try to do to change the course of history, they will NOT succeed. God knows the end from the beginning, and everything that will take place in between! He will therefore ensure that His Will is done in the time allotted for it to be done. Just don’t be surprised if - in the end - the actual events of history don’t fit people’s preconceived notions and interpretations of God’s prophetic Word.

In my ground-breaking book “The Language of God in the Universe”, which explores the godly spiritual meaning behind the 48 ancient constellations of the Mazzaroth, I noted that Orion the Hunter is also known as Orion the Brilliant, and it is a strong symbol for our Messiah Yahshua that NEVER had anything to do with Nimrod or the Antichrist except by FALSE association! Based on my findings, the shape of Orion signifies the cup that Yahshua called “the cup of my blood,” with Orion’s belt stars signifying the manner in which Yahshua would shed His blood by crucifixion (see above illustration). It is the King of kings and Prince of princes named Yahshua that is signified by Orion, and it is He that is coming soon to conquer the Antichrist and Satan, the ruler of this dark world. Hallelu-Yah! The star chart shown below clearly shows the meaning of the Gospel in the Stars surrounding Orion and Taurus and their connection to the five magnificently built Old Kingdom pyramids in Egypt.

Careful study of this illustration will reveal the intricate interaction of the Zodiac signs Gemini and Taurus, which share a powerful messianic story-telling relationship that is also revealed through their decan constellations. This set of constellations shows the Messiah (Orion) shedding His blood as the sin offering for our sins (Taurus) so that we can be born again and spared from severe judgment (Orion’s Belt, and the constellation Eridanus, the River). Meanwhile, those who faithfully and loyally follow Yahshua are depicted as the two dogs at Orion’s heels. Canis Minor is tied to Mount Sinai and depicts the Old Testament believers in the coming of the Messiah, while Canis Major is tied to Jerusalem and Bethlehem and depicts New Testament believers in the resurrected Messiah.

Through my continuing studies, I have determined that the sign of Ophiuchus is almost as important as the constellation of Orion in relation to the End Times. Because, while Orion signifies Yahshua as the resurrected King of kings coming to fight His enemies to the death, claim His earthly throne, and set up His Millennial Kingdom, Ophiuchus signifies the Messiah’s followers caught in the middle of great conflict and division.

Global events have made it very clear that the world’s population has essentially been divided into two warring groups. On the one hand, there are the carnally-minded people signified by the serpent that Ophiuchus is wrestling with. These people love pleasure and material things, and have a false sense of entitlement. They can be found everywhere - from the highest echelons of society to the darkest slums - and they often prey on one another for what they need. However, the poorest of these immoral lovers of Mammon have developed a deep-seated hatred and resentment of the rich and powerful among them, and a wicked compunction to riot, kill and destroy to get what they want.

On the opposing side to these carnal, wantonly sinful people are those signified by the Messianic figure of Ophiuchus the Serpent Holder. Ophiuchus was identified as a physician or healer by the ancients, and it actually signifies Yahshua as the Great Physician, for by His wounds, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). The righteous people signified by Ophiuchus the Healer and Serpent Restrainer have been spiritually regenerated by the Holy Spirit, and have a true desire to reflect the peace, love and righteousness of Christ in their choice of entertainment, and in their behavior at work and at play. These redeemed believers seek to foster love and mercy while still continuing to non-violently expose and root out sin in every aspect of their personal, political and religious lives. These two opposing groups were alluded to by Yahshua in His Parable of the Wheat and the Tares, which is allegorically connected to the opposing groups of sanctified and unsanctified believers signified by the two horns of Taurus the Bull.

The Star Gospel Surrounding Ophiuchus and Scorpio

Amazingly, the sign of Scorpio the Scorpion is on the opposite side of the Zodiac to Taurus the Bull, and just as the Giza Pyramids are tied to Taurus through Orion’s Belt, and to the Person of Yahshua the Messiah, the Hawaiian Islands are tied to the sign of Scorpio. However, Scorpio is dominated by the constellation Ophiuchus the Serpent Holder for most of its length. This is not just a coincidence. They are placed this way in the heavens to show the great enmity that exists between the children who follow Yahweh in imitation of the Patriarch Joseph and our Messiah Yahshua, who is represented by Ophiuchus, and the children of the Devil depicted by Scorpio and its decan constellation Serpens the Serpent.

In fact, in mimicry of the key messianic prophecy in Genesis 3:15, Ophiuchus signifies Yahshua as the Seed of the Woman crushing the head and body of the Serpent signified by the Scorpion, which represents Satan. This is why the Scorpion’s head and tail are under Ophiuchus’ feet! For just as Satan literally injured Christ’s heel with a nail on the Cross, Yahshua will one day crush Satan’s head under His feet when His white horse tramples God’s enemies underneath their hooves! Now each of the Tribes of Israel has an allegorical connection to one of the twelve Zodiac Signs, and the one associated with Joseph was Taurus the Bull. This bull signifies the bulls that Israel offered up to God as a sin offering, and as such, it signifies Yahshua as our sin offering! Meanwhile, the bull’s horns signify the descendants of the two half tribes of Joseph called Ephraim and Manasseh that are depicted by the horns of Taurus.

As can be seen in the illustration above, Ophiuchus dominates the 30 degree slot made for Scorpio on the ecliptic. This means that the servants of God depicted by Ophiuchus, which is an allegorical depiction of Yahshua wrestling with Satan, have been and will be victorious over the Devil and his minions much more often than some evil folks would have us believe. Those who love the Messiah and Son of God have and will be able to effectively thwart many of Satan’s plans until the time of the end depicted by Scorpio’s tail. Fascinatingly, the Sun will appear directly over the tail of Scorpio in the sign of Ophiuchus on the Winter Solstice of December 21st, 2012, and the stars in the tail of Scorpio actually appear to mimic the oddly curved placement of the islands in the Hawaiian Island chain. As my research on the Aztec Calendar Stone shown at the bottom of part 4 of this 8 part article shows, this is not an accident!

In essence, Serpens the Serpent and Scorpio itself signifies the tension between those who have followed Eve in rebellion, and the redeemed people that are signified by Ophiuchus and the horns of Taurus the Bull. Fascinatingly, one horn of Taurus can be likened to the horn of a goat (or weedy tare), and the other horn can be likened to the horn of a ram or male sheep (or a sheaf of wheat). This can also be seen repeated in two neighboring constellations. The first of these is Auriga the Goat-herder, which signifies unsanctified believers who are willfully rebellious toward Yahweh God’s Will even after having obtained salvation through belief in Yahshua - and this would include most professing Christians today in the West. The second sign is Aries the Ram, which signifies Yahshua as the Lamb of God, as well as sanctified believers that truly love and follow their Messiah. These sold-out followers of Christ are not only redeemed by His blood, but are doing their best to live righteously by His Word. This means that, though they live in the world, they are not of it!

Ophiuchus and Taurus show the sin-negating affects of those who follow Yahshua, whom the Patriarch Joseph prefigured, while Scorpio and Serpens show the short-lived triumph of Satan and his demonic minions against those who love Yahweh and His Son. Therefore, it is likely no coincidence that Ophiuchus was targeted by a Total Lunar Eclipse or Blood Moon on June 15th, 2011, and it was best seen from Israel and the Middle East at its fullest extent. It is therefore highly likely that it may have been meant to mark 2011 as the official beginning year of the Tribulation like the Blood Moon of December 21st, 2010. However, this time it was marking the Middle East in opposition to the West targeted by Orion and Taurus. In the opposing signs of Taurus and Scorpio, we can clearly see the conflict that centers on Israel in regard to its right to exist, and its claim to the Promised Land that was given to the descendants of Abraham through Isaac as an everlasting possession.

In the mythology of the Greeks, which reinterprets the Book of Genesis from the perspective of Adam and Eve's reprobate son Cain rather than their righteous son Seth, Ophiuchus was connected to the god of healing and medicine known as Asclepius. Incidentally, our Messiah Yahshua has been called the Great Physician due to the many Scriptures surrounding His ability to heal the sick, raise the dead, and deliver the demon-possessed. As the Great Healer of the immense breach between God and mankind, Yahshua also shares a connection to the Caduceus, which is the serpent-entwined pole that is used as a symbol for modern medicine.

Fascinatingly, this symbol was derived from a similar symbol used to represent Asclepius and his connection to Ophiuchus, the Serpent Holder. But this symbolism goes even deeper in that it is directly connected to another powerful symbol that I wrote about in my book “The Language of God in Humanity.” It is called the “Nehushtan,” which is the Hebrew name for the bronze pole that Moses had entwined with a serpent and lifted up in the desert for the people to look upon in order to be healed from poison snake bites. Following the Scripture about this incident below is an illustration of that bronze pole in association with the Cross of Christ, which was taken from my book “The Language of God in Humanity:”

“Then Yahweh sent venomous snakes among them; they bit the people and many Israelites died. The people came to Moses and said, ‘We sinned when we spoke against Yahweh and against you. Pray that Yahweh will take the snakes away from us.’ So Moses prayed for the people. Yahweh said to Moses, ‘Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.’ So Moses made a bronze snake… on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten… and looked at the bronze snake, he lived.” - Numbers 21:6-9

As the illustration and Scripture shows, there is an obvious connection between the Nehushtan and the Cross of Christ, where our Messiah became sin for us so that we all could be forgiven. In fact, Yahshua Himself tells us that this serpent-entwined pole that Moses fashioned per God’s command was an allusion to His coming crucifixion. This is when Yahshua took on the image of Satan in the form of our sins so that we might take on His perfect image before the Father and no longer be under condemnation:

“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” - John 3:14-15 (NKJ)

Later, the Apostle Paul explained this through the imagery of the Blood Covenant ceremony. In one such ritual, two men entering a covenant switched their cloaks in order to be seen as the image of the other in unity. Likewise, when Yahshua died on the Cross, He exchanged His perfect body for our sin-filled flesh so that we might find healing and spiritual perfection by taking on His image:

“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” - 2 Corinthians 5:21

This is why the Church is called the Body of Christ! For this reason, Ophiuchus is also an allusion to the Cross of Christ, where the ultimate price was paid for our sins by one perfect God-man who never sinned. Thank you, Yahshua our Messiah!

It is also fascinating to note that Ophiuchus will be featured prominently in the heavens on December 21st, 2012, as the sign that the Sun will be seen in when the Sun aligns with the Earth, Moon, and the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. As such, Ophiuchus could have something to do with the sign of the Son of Man spoken of in Matthew, Chapter 24, which I believe is attached to the Rapture of the Church rather than the Second Coming of Christ to fight the battle of Armageddon. In fact, just as Taurus and Orion serve as signs of Yahshua’s saving ministry to mankind, Ophiuchus signifies Yahshua’s triumph over sin, sickness, death, and the wicked that the Battle of Armageddon will show the full affects of. Amen, and Hallelu-Yah for that!
