THE PLEIADES CONNECTION TO THE NEW JERUSALEM

This article began as a technical explanation of where God’s Throne room is allegorically located in Heaven, and ended with a fascinating study of the relationship of Camelopardalis and the Northern Circumpolar Region with Taurus, Orion and the Pleiades Star Cluster, which is an allegorical representation of God’s Throne Room within the New Jerusalem. Read on to find out how I came to this fascinating conclusion, which led to my creation of the stunning illustration above showing the Pleiades/New Jerusalem connection!

To begin, enlarge and study the illustration at the top of this article because I will be referring to it as you read through this. Next, take a look within the Bible with me, where I can show you the hints about where God’s Throne Room is allegorically located in Heaven. Although the entire expanse of the heavens is called God’s Throne in the Bible, there are speculations that God’s actual Throne Room may be located near to the Earth’s Northern Celestial Pole because of this verse in Leviticus:

Leviticus 1:11 - “He shall kill it (the atonement sacrifice) on the north side of the altar before Yahweh; and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar.”

Some believe this means that God’s heavenly abode must be north of the Altar of Sacrifice in the Jerusalem Temple, thus connecting His abode to the Earth’s Northern Celestial Polar Region in space. In addition, after the empty space behind the star Polaris was discovered recently, some have speculated that it might be some kind of doorway or portal between the Second Heaven, which is our physical Universe, and the Third Heaven, where God dwells (Note: The First Heaven is the Earth’s Atmosphere).

This connection is further supported by the location of the constellation Cepheus, or the Enthroned King and Cassiopeia, or the Enthroned Queen of Heaven in the Northern Celestial Polar Region of the sky. Finally, the sheep pens Ursa Major and Ursa Minor signifying the sheep or believers shepherded by Yahshua our Messiah are located around the Northern Celestial Pole, although Ursa Minor’s position inside the curve of the tail of Draco the Red Dragon indicates that some of them are deceived by Satan. Here is an illustration taken from my book “The Language of God in the Universe” that shows the spiritual and prophetic meaning of these heavenly signs:

The constellation Cepheus signifies Yahshua as the King of kings, and Cassiopeia depicts His Bride, who is filled with His Holy Spirit, and they are located near to the constellation Draco to indicate who will defeat the Red Dragon or Satan. Cepheus and Cassiopeia also represent Yahshua and the Holy Spirit as the spiritual leaders of the sheep signified by Ursa Major and Ursa Minor, who need guidance to escape the clutches of Draco, which represents the Devil, sin and death. Draco is a big constellation that dominates one section of the Northern Celestial Polar Region of the sky, as seen in these Starry Night program screen shots:

Fascinatingly, the Giraffe constellation is also located in the Northern Circumpolar Region of our sky. It is called Camelopardalis, which combines the Greek words “camelo” or camel and “lopardes” or leopard to describe the appearance of a giraffe. This constellation wasn’t identified in ancient times, but was created in relatively recent times to identify the dim section of space that it is located in. 

As can be seen from one of the screen shots above, Camelopardalis is directly above the constellation Taurus, with the Sun in direct alignment with the Pleiades Star Cluster. If you draw a perpendicular line through Taurus, Orion can be seen below, while Auriga and Perseus are above Taurus and just below Camelopardalis. These constellations can all be seen in the southerly regions of Earth’s sky in the winter months, but are not currently visible because they are in daylight skies near the Sun.

Scientists have recently reported that the Earth may pass through the debris field of the relatively faint and little-known Comet 209P Linear, creating a new Meteor Shower that will be visible from the head region of Camelopardalis, the Giraffe. As such, if the Meteor Shower does materialize, it may resemble the Great Meteor Storm of 1833. I wrote a detailed article about this coming Meteor Shower/Storm here:

If this new Meteor Shower does materialize, it could also bring about the Sixth Seal Judgment leading to the first of the Trumpet Plagues, which also means it may be a sign that the Rapture is just about to take place, although no one knows the day or hour.

Now, since the Northern Circumpolar Region of Earth’s sky appears to be the location of God’s face, it’s interesting to note that I identified the constellations Taurus and Aries as the allegorical heavenly location of God’s Altar in Heaven. Fascinatingly, the four horns of Taurus and Aries represent the four horns on the corners of the altar that once stood outside God’s Temple in Jerusalem. Also within this symbolic altar is the star called Al-Cyone, or “The Center”, which many scientists believe marks the region of the sky where the center of the Universe is located. Al-Cyone also happens to be the brightest star within the Pleiades Star Cluster in Taurus, as well as the brightest member of a binary star system. 

As I will show in this article, the Pleiades Star Cluster may be allegorically connected to the New Jerusalem, which is to be the heavenly and earthly home of the Bride of Christ and her Redeemer Yahshua Ha Mashiach for eternity. In fact, the word “Al Cyone” or “kingfisher” (a brightly colored little bird) in Greek, was the name of a mythological Princess who married a man named Ceyx, who was the king of Thessaly and the son of Phosphoros, which is a Greek name for the planet Venus. Phosphoros was also known as the “Morning Star” in Greek. Strangely, though the wandering star Venus is associated with the Roman goddess by that name, the goddess Venus was known as Aphrodite in Greece.

Although Phosphoros (Phosphorus in English) has been identified with Lucifer due to the connection of the Greek word Phosphoros with the Latin word Lucifer meaning “shining” or “luminescent”, the term “Morning Star” is a special appellation ONLY for Yahshua in the Book of Revelation (See Rev. 22:16). This could suggest that Al Cyone is meant to signify the Bride of Christ, and by extension, the New Jerusalem. The New Jerusalem is the heavenly city constructed by YHWH God for His saints, and it is where our Heavenly Father and His Son will dwell with the Bride of Christ or Church of Philadelphia for all eternity after the Millennial Rule of Yahshua, when the New Heaven and New Earth will be created.

Interestingly, the Bible tells us that the New Jerusalem will not have need of a Temple, because God will dwell within all His saints. In addition, in connection with Yahshua and the Spirit of God the Father, Who dwell in our hearts, we will serve as Yahweh God’s Holy Temple for eternity: 

Revelation 21:22-24 - “But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. 24 And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.” 

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 - “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.” 

Although there are seven prominent stars in the Pleiades that can be seen with the unaided eye in dark skies, there are actually ten fairly bright stars altogether, and four of these stars are binary, as can be seen in the photographic image I’ve carefully labeled at the beginning of this article. So, if we imagine that the star Al-Cyone represents the New Jerusalem where God’s Temporal Throne will one day be, and upon which God the Father will forever symbolically sit enthroned through His Son Yahshua (see Rev. 7:14-17 and Rev. 21:22-23), it would make sense that this star also represents the Church of Philadelphia, and one of the Seven Churches and Lampstands surrounding God’s Throne, just as is described in the Book of Revelation: 

Revelation 1:20 - “The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.” 

Revelation 4:5 - “And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.”

Revelation 7:14-17 - “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. 16 They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; 17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” 

In the passage from Revelation 7 quoted above, note that He who sits on the Throne is the Lamb in the midst of the throne. The term “Lamb” is another appellation for Yahshua, and it refers to His sacrifice on the Cross. His Crucifixion was an allusion to the Passover lambs that are sacrificed on the eve of Passover to remember the protection of the Israelites from the Angel of Death that passed over Egypt just before the Exodus. Likewise, Yahshua was the sacrificial Lamb that protects sanctified believers in Him from death and eternal separation from God in Hell.

The Seven Spirits of God are a reference to the characteristics that the Holy Spirit brings forth in God’s Servants, and they are tied allegorically to the Seven Churches as the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in believers. Two of the nine prominent stars in the Pleiades may also be connected to the Two Witnesses. The heavenly lampstands associated with the Two Witnesses may well be represented by the stars Atlas and Pleione, which are to the right of the star Al-Cyone in the Pleiades Star Cluster. These stars could signify the Two Witnesses as two lampstands before God’s Throne, which is signified by the bright star Al-Cyone:   

Revelation 11: 3-4 - “And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. 4 These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth.” 

The Seven Spirits of God are connected to the Seven Churches represented by the stars Asterope, Maia, Taygeta, Celaeno, Electra, Merope, and Al-Cyone, with the bright star Electra possibly signifying the persecuted Church of Smyrna. Interestingly, Taygeta and Merope are members of a binary star system, meaning that they may have two prophetic applications instead of one. This is also true of Asterope, which is actually the two neighboring stars 21 and 22 Tauri, as well as the binary stars Al-Cyone and Atlas. 

The fact that both Al-Cyone and Atlas are binary star systems suggests that they may have an allegorical connection with the star Sirius in Canis Major. In my book “The Language of God in History”, I showed that Sirius, which is the brightest star in our skies, has a definite connection to Jerusalem and Bethlehem, which is a nearby suburb of Jerusalem. Here is an illustration based on information from that book, which shows this connection:

In Greek Mythology, which was invented to explain the historical events of the Bible’s Book of Genesis from the perspective of the outcast Cain rather than from the godly line of Seth, Pleione was the wife of Atlas, and she gave birth to seven daughters. Atlas and Pleione are the names of two of the stars in the Pleiades, while the names of their daughters are connected to seven other stars in the Pleiades. These became known in legend as the Seven Sisters, and it is my firm belief that they represent the Seven Churches of Revelation in the Star Gospel.

The most common legend about these Seven Sisters is that they were the immortal nymph companions of the goddess Artemis. Collectively, these sisters were called the Pleiades, and they were very close - spending all their time together. That is, until one of them became mortal by falling in love with a human, and was thereby eventually claimed by Hades in death. Meanwhile, the other six nymphs stayed immortal. However, they were eventually given an abode in the heavens as a form of protection by the top god Zeus to protect them from the amorous advances of Orion. According to the Greeks, Orion was a mortal hero and half son of the gods who found the Pleiades sisters to be very desirable. This happened after Orion got involved in a hunt with Artemis, upon which he discovered the beautiful nymphs in her care and began to relentlessly pursue them.

For students of Bible Prophecy, it should be easy to see how the godly truth behind the Pleiades Star Cluster has been obscured by the line of Cain with the concealing satanic myths of the ancients. Many ancient mythological attempts like this one, which are meant to conceal and warp the truth, are carefully examined in my book “The Language of God in History”.

As an example of how the Greek Myths obscure the truth, take a look at what the Gospel in the Stars says about the constellations and stars named after the corresponding deities and heroes of Greek myth. In the Star Gospel lessons discussed in my “Languageof God Book Series”, Orion is clearly identified as a symbol for Yahshua our Messiah coming to conquer the wicked at the Battle of Armageddon. Furthermore, the Pleiades signify the Seven Churches of Revelation, which are not filled with immortal people as yet, but mortal people who have been promised everlasting life and immortality as a result of their faith in Yahshua as God’s Son, who was offered up as an atoning sacrifice for sin. 

Furthermore, one of these Churches - the Church of Philadelphia - is held in higher regard than the others and is identified in Revelation, Chapter 3 as the Bride of Christ, who will dwell in the New Jerusalem with her Five Wise Virgin handmaidens in attendance. In Yahshua’s Parable of the Ten Virgins, the Five Wise Virgins represent groups of born-again saints that will be taken out of five of the Seven Churches of Revelation, which are depicted in the Pleiades Star Cluster.

Also fascinating to note is the fact that three of the seven stars in the Pleiades that signify the Seven Churches of Revelation are binary systems - meaning they have dimmer companion stars circling around them. If these are counted, there are a total of ten stars that could also be connected to the Ten Lampstands in the Temple that Solomon built, which may have allegorically signified ten of the Tribes of Israel. These Israelite Tribes are also known as the Ten Lost Tribes because it is believed that many Israelites forgot their Israelite heritage as they mixed with the Gentiles in Europe and Africa through intermarriage. This happened gradually over the ages since the Israelite Diasporas of the 8th, 6th and 1st Centuries BC, and the Jewish Diasporas of the 1st and 2nd Century AD 

As a hint of God’s great mercy, the fact that there are still seven stars in the Pleiades that are connected to the Seven Churches suggests that some members from the backslidden, apostate and lukewarm Church of Laodicea will eventually be forgiven by God during the Great Tribulation, and will thus be included in the Millennial Rule of Christ. However, because the Church of Laodicea is so lost spiritually, it is likely represented by the star Celaeno, which is currently the dimmest of the stars signifying the Seven Lampstands and Seven Churches.

Interestingly, the number five signifies that both the Wise and Foolish Virgins are being divided out from among the five of the Seven Churches that Yahshua found fault with. These complaints can be found in His letters to the Churches in the Book of Revelation, Chapters 2 and 3. Indeed, only the Church of Smyrna (the persecuted and the martyrs) and the Church of Philadelphia (relatively poor saints that uphold God’s commandments and love one another as Yahshua taught) were beyond reproach, suggesting that all the members of these two Churches are fully sanctified before God.

I hope you enjoyed this exploration of God’s Word hidden in the Heavenly Tablets - also known as the Zodiac or Mazzaroth, which is a sacred “book” of sorts that was written by God’s own hand when He created the Universe.

(Update: The Camelopardalid Meteor Shower was almost a complete bust, only producing 5 or 10 meteors per hour. These are easy to miss if you look away or blink at the wrong time. So this was obviously NOT a catalyst for the beginning volley of the Wrath of God as I had hoped, but just another warning sign that the Great Tribulation is near, and the Rapture will be soon. THE MAJOR DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE WISE AND FOOLISH VIRGINS

The key to a CRYSTAL CLEAR UNDERSTANDING of the difference between the WISE AND FOOLISH VIRGINS described by our Messiah Yahshua in Matthew, Chapter 25, verses 1 through 13 can be found in the Old Testament Book of Proverbs, Chapter 9 - as listed at the end of this article.

Fascinatingly, the first 12 verses of this Bible chapter list all of the qualities of the WISE VIRGINS who are filled with Wisdom, which is another Name for the Holy Spirit. But in the last 6 verses of the chapter, the FOOLISH VIRGINS are described with negative traits such as a lack of understanding, meaning that they're ignorant of the times, and not paying attention to the signs of Christ's soon return. This problem is not restricted to any one particular race such as the Jews, but applies to ALL people groups!

Also note that the food of the Wise Virgins listed in verse 5 of Proverbs 9 is bread and wine, which is highly suggestive of the bread and wine of Communion with Christ, whereas the food of the Foolish is listed in verse 17 as STOLEN bread and water without wine, meaning it does not represent the Body and Blood of Christ. In other words, the Foolish Virgins are not in a right relationship with Yahshua - even though they may be waiting for Him to return as a Bridegroom, which the Jews are definitely not! Remember, their false idea of the Messiah is that He will be ALL Warrior, and in NO WAY A LAMB!

Below is all of Proverbs, Chapter Nine, as it appears in the New King James Version of the Bible. I highly recommend meditating over and memorizing this chapter of the Bible because of its concentrated wisdom. May it bless you and help to prepare you for the Rapture.

Proverbs, Chapter 9

The Way of Wisdom

“Wisdom has built her house,

She has hewn out her seven pillars;

2 She has slaughtered her meat,

She has mixed her wine,

She has also furnished her table.

3 She has sent out her maidens,

She cries out from the highest places of the city,

4 “Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!”

As for him who lacks understanding, she says to him,

5 “Come, eat of my bread

And drink of the wine I have mixed.

6 Forsake foolishness and live,

And go in the way of understanding.”

7 He who corrects a scoffer gets shame for himself,

And he who rebukes a wicked man only harms himself.

She is simple, and knows nothing.

Foolish Virgins Sleeping

Are you aware that there have been unprecedented Signs in the Heavens and on the Earth over the past few years that are heralding the soon return of Christ? Though these should have gotten everyone's attention by now, it seems that many within and outside of the Church are still sleeping, or in denial. This is partly because they will not take heed of the many Solar and Lunar Eclipses and Comets of note over the past few years that have held a clear promise to the Bride of Christ and the Five Wise Virgins that their redemption draws ever-nearer.

Beyond these past Heavenly Signs, God has placed the dire warning of the Blood Moon Tetrad on Jewish Feasts of 2014 and 2015 and the Blood Moon Triad of 2018 that are swiftly approaching into the heavens. Many seem unaware of how important these Signs are in the context of Jewish and Israelite history. Nor do they realize that these Signs will NOT fail to materialize because these Blood Moons are part of God's heavenly Time Clock! We have also seen heavy meteor showers and numerous fireballs all over the world over the past couple of years, and they seem to be getting more numerous every day:

Then there are the terrible cataclysmic hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions (which can drastically affect weather), fires, hail storms, tornadoes, and floods that have affected virtually every region on the planet in 2013, and every year since 2010. (May 2014 UPDATE: In fact, between January 1st, 2014 and March 1st, 2014, we had already well surpassed the average for volcanic eruptions in one year, and three quarters of the year have yet to transpire!) On top of these, there have been massive animal deaths, massive fish deaths, massive bird deaths, and massive bee deaths all over the world for the past few years.

World food supplies are also dwindling due to the past few years of massive droughts, floods and fires. As a result, food prices have skyrocketed all over the world, and some food items are prohibitively expensive now. Still other foods are becoming unsafe to eat due to genetic modification or tainting by nuclear radiation and other forms of pollution. Has everyone forgotten that the Gulf Oil Disaster has, and the Fukushima Disaster is polluting the world's oceans and tainting all the salt water fish and crustaceans that we rely on for food?

In tandem with these strong threats to the world's food supply, the economic base of many nations is teetering on the edge of full collapse. As markets increasingly fail and housing and money loses its value even more, the level of wickedness among the inhabitants of this planet has also increased dramatically, with every sort of greed, lust and sexual perversion now being touted as a viable part of one's lifestyle. :-(

As governments weaken under the stress, law and order are breaking down even more. Lack of respect for the Law is bringing the worst out in people as robberies and identity theft become endemic, youth gangs target people for random acts of violence, mass shootings escalate, and sexual promiscuity and sexual perversion become commonplace and accepted. In addition, persecution of believers has stepped up all over the world, especially in the Middle East.

How can anyone look at all these things happening and not be aware that we are at the very end of the End of Days, and Yahshua is coming very soon? It's hard for me to grasp how anyone could doubt that we are in the End Times, and to still have the audacity to scoff at all the warnings that we are on the brink of the Great Tribulation!

In light of all the unprecedented things that have been going on, there's just no way that I can believe anything other than that Yahshua is coming very soon! It also should be clear that we need to get ourselves ready, and stay ready, because He could return at any moment. I, for one, don't want to be caught sleeping like a Foolish Virgin and thereby be left behind!

Unfortunately, there are no good quality copies of the full painting anywhere on the internet, only glimpses of it such as what is shown in the top detail.
