| The Heavenly Line Up On The Day of the March 24th-25th, 2024 Lunar Eclipse Is Tied to the Story of the Prophet Jonah! Click On Image to Zoom In |
Before going over the details and meaning of the March 25th, 2024 Penumbral Lunar Eclipse that follows the Feast of Esther or Purim this year, I want to share what I have learned about the prophetic significance of Chapter 2 in the Book of Joel. For years, I have been quoting only a small portion of this prophecy that may refer to the affects of Lunar and Solar Eclipses on the appearance of the Sun and the Moon.
But the entire chapter is actually very important in understanding when these prophetically indicated eclipses will occur. Upon reading the entire chapter, it struck me that this is a prophecy about the destruction of, and future restoration of the the Promised Land. This is the land that was given to the Israelite descendants of Abraham and Jacob that formed the Ancient Kingdom of Israel.
As the prophecy in Joel Chapter 2, verses 18 through 27 states, the land of Israel will be restored to the Israelites, although currently it is only restored to the Jewish portion of Israel, and has not been given to the people who are Israelites by Faith. Indeed, the Christian branch of Israel is not really welcome in Israel, although they are largely tolerated because they bring much revenue into the tiny nation in the form of tourism and donations. But the Great Tribulation will change all that around!
After verse 27, Joel Chapter 2, verses 28 through 32 are significant in relation to the Signs in the Heavens. This portion is referring to events in our era, which is known prophetically as the Latter Days, which will come to an end not long after some major Signs occur in the Sun and the Moon. There has been a tremendous outpouring of the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit in these Latter Days - the eventful days before the Great Day of the Lord, or Great Tribulation begins.
This portion of Joel also refers to events after the Great Tribulation, which will occur during the coming establishment of the Millennial Kingdom of Yahshua or Jesus. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are all currently available to born again Believers in Yahshua, and certain gifts are given to everyone who is born again with the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. These spiritual gifts include the gifts of prophecy, administration, leadership, knowledge, teaching, healing, tongues, love, wisdom, evangelism, exorcism, mercy, charity, kindness, self-control and discernment. These gifts are explained in 1 Corinthians 12, 13 and 14, Romans 12, Ephesians 4, and 1 Peter 4.
I firmly believe that we are in the Latter Days, which is not only a time of miracles, but of great persecution. My research has shown that this period may have begun in the late 19th Century, when a fascination with Paganism and the Occult increased dramatically in Europe, Great Britain, and the United States. There was also heavy Christian Tribulation in the 20th Century because of World Wars 1 and 2, and many other lesser wars that decimated the Christian populations of the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
These lesser wars were going on at the same time as Christian evangelism and revival was spreading in scattered pockets of humanity all over the world, and especially in the United States. So, while God was raising up fantastic evangelists and miracle workers to encourage Christians to seek after spiritual gifts, other pockets of Christians in distant lands were being systematically tormented, afflicted and killed in many civil wars.
These wars were primarily instigated by Radical Muslim militants and Communists, both of which tend to hate and abuse Christians and Jews. Nonetheless, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit also literally exploded in this extended time of Christian Tribulation, and the Spirit has continued to be poured out on all people throughout the late 20th and early 21st Centuries. Meanwhile, Satan has also been busy at work increasing demonic activity and hatred of God's Moral Laws all over the world.
Now, as Purim or the Feast of Esther draws near, it's interesting to note that this Latter Day time period of Spiritual outpouring and demonic upheaval is connected to the Book of Esther, especially to Queen Esther, who symbolizes the True Church that is made up of Born Again, Spirit-filled Believers in Yahshua, These Believers are powerfully manifesting the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit in this current age of unprecedented lawlessness and deception. This is particularly interesting because there is a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse right after the Feast of Esther this year, which begins on the evening of March 22nd and will be celebrated until dusk on March 24th.
Before focusing on the Eclipse, however, I want to share what the daytime Heavenly Signs before and during the Eclipse appear to be saying with their God-given divine symbolism. At the top of this article is an image showing the Signs in the Heavens obscured by the Sun's light during the daylight hours before and after the night of the Lunar Eclipse. As the image proclaims, the Sun and planets are aligned in the adjacent Signs of the Mazzaroth or Zodiac called Aries, Pisces, Aquarius and Capricorn, and all four of these constellations are tied to the story of the prophet Jonah, and the symbolism that Yahshua used to identify His disciples.
I wrote the following onto the graphic to help explain the symbolism connected to Jonah and the Ninevites: The story of Jonah is symbolized by the Signs of Aries, Pisces, Aquarius and Capricorn. The Ram and Water Bearer signify God's Mercy, Compassion, and Forgiveness, as well as His Righteous Judgment.
The Two Fishes swimming in opposite directions and the Goat Fish signify both the readiness of the wayward Ninevites to repent, and Jonah's hatred warring with his compassion. Also, the Big Fish under the Water Bearer's feet signifies the fish that swallowed, then spit Jonah out in what Yahshua referred to as the Sign of Jonah!
All four Signs signify the repentance and reform of both Jonah and the Ninevites, and the divine compassion and forgiveness given to Jonah and the Ninevites. Meanwhile, the many-headed Serpent Hydra signifies the wicked Sons and Daughters of Belial or Satan who will be crushed under Yahshua's feet. Finally, the Rapture is alluded to by the Pisces Fish labelled Ephraim and Pegasus, the flying White Horse. If you turn the horse and fish upside down, you will see what I mean because the fish is riding on the back of Yahshua's White Horse! :-D

Now, with the Sign of Jonah in mind, let's focus on the Eclipse. This Penumbral Lunar Eclipse begins late on March 24th, and ends early in the morning on March 25th, 2024. It will be visible throughout the Americas, the Eastern portion of Asia and most of Australia, throughout the United Kingdom and most of Europe and the Western half of Africa. The Feast of Esther falls at the time of the Full Moon occurring one month before the Full Moon that marks the beginning of Passover Week. The day known as Pesach or Passover begins on the evening of April 22nd this year, and is followed by the week-long Feast of Unleavened Bread.
The text on the graphic above the last paragraph explains what this Eclipse means in God's symbolic language. As it says: the Virgin signifies the True Saints who serve Yahshua, and Minister in service to one another. All who are Born of the Holy Spirit are depicted by Virgo, who is the Revelation 12 Woman Clothed With The Sun who is filled with God's Spirit & Living Water!
The Scales of Libra are an Altar of Judgment where all people's sins are Judged against God's Righteousness. But those who have Yahshua as their Advocate & Attorney will be blessed, not condemned!
The many-headed Serpent Hydra signifies the wicked Sons and Daughters of Belial or Satan who will be crushed under Yahshua's feet. Finally, the Cup and Crow signify the fate of these wicked people during and after the Great Tribulation.
But that's not all! All of the spiritual truths about the Sign of Jonah that have been revealed in the Heavenly Signs surrounding this March 25th Lunar Eclipse are also tied to the coming Total Solar Eclipse over America on April 8th, 2024 and the Feast of Passover beginning on the evening of April 22nd this year. So, in a short time, I will post part 2 of my new 3-part article series covering the Spring 2024 Heavenly Signs. This article will talk about the April 8th Eclipse, Passover, and the 40 days between the Eclipse and Pentecost on May 19th, as well as the so-called Devil Comet, which looks more like a winged angel to me!
