God's Wrath on the Wicked Will Be Fiercer Than the Hottest Volcanic Eruption! |
I don't just believe, but KNOW that our Savior Yahshua or Jesus, and His New Testament apostles and disciples taught us to wait on our Father God in Heaven to protect us, and to wait for God to exact vengeance when we have been wronged. Deuteronomy 32:35 is the first one of three Scriptures that prove this: There, God says:
“Vengeance is Mine, and recompense; Their foot shall slip in due time; For the day of their calamity is at hand, And the things to come hasten upon them.”The second proof is in Romans 12:19, where it says:
“Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, ‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord,”And the third proof is in Hebrews 10:30, where it says:
“For we know Him who said, ‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord. And again, ‘The Lord will judge His people.’”In keeping with this idea, the New Testament writers explicitly made it clear that those who are born again by the Spirit of God are not of this world, and that the world is going to hate them - regardless of where they live or what they do - if they preach and teach as Christ did. Christ asked His followers to follow His example, and He preached about God's love for them, and also about moral and upright living, kindness, compassion, salvation, and the Kingdom of God before He died on the Cross - a cross He bore rather than lead an insurrection and rebellion against Rome. Likewise, in Luke 9:23, Christ called all of His disciples to do as He did, to refuse to engage in violence, and to pick up our cross and follow Him on a daily basis. Read it in Christ's own words:
“Then He said to them all, ‘If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.’”Yes, Christ turned over the tables of the money changers in the Temple courtyard because they were breaking God's Law, and He called the Pharisees a brood of vipers for teaching the Israelites to follow their erroneous example. But Christ also did not resist arrest from the authorities of His age, and He willingly died as a martyr for the sake of our Salvation. The disciple of Christ named Stephen also died as a martyr to set the painful example that those we try to help may turn on us and kill us for preaching the truth to them in love. There is also much evidence that Christians were peaceful and non-violent when rounded up and killed in ancient Pagan Rome, and at the time of the Roman Catholic Inquisition.
In fact, there is not one story in the entire New Testament where believers in Christ were encouraged to participate in insurrections against the government, or were being trained to fight physical battles with their hands, or with weapons of war. Instead, they were encouraged to live in peace with the authorities, and to be kind and loving to everyone, in so far as they were able. In fact, the only battles ever discussed at length in the entire New Testament (with the exception of references to the Battle of Armageddon and the War of Gog and Magog) were spiritual in nature, and only people that were flagrantly disobeying God were killed. This was the case with Ananias and Sapphira in Acts Chapter 5, who were killed by God's own hand for their deceit, and not by the hand of any believer. As Paul said in Ephesians 6:12:
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”As Paul also said in Romans 8:34-39:
“Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:The Apostle Paul knew that the REAL home of all believers is NOT in this world, but in Heaven with Christ, and in His coming Millennial Kingdom. That is why Paul taught Christ's disciples to look forward to their heavenly homes, and their life in the world to come, rather than loving life in this fallen world. After all, this world is set against God, hates Christ and His true followers, and - like their father the Devil - wants all born again believers destroyed and/or deceived. That is why, in 1 Corinthians 5:4-11, Paul said:
“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” [Ps 44:22]
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
"For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life. 5 Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. 6 So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. 9 Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 11 Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences."Granted, I do understand the need to offer protection to the weak, sick, or abused whenever it is possible. I grew up as a sickly, asthmatic weakling in a bad neighborhood, and even though I was in a private Catholic grammar school, I got picked on mercilessly, was made fun of, was pushed around, and was laughed at constantly, and was even threatened with terrible violence on more than one occasion by my own classmates, which God miraculously protected me from.
However, in my early teens and young adulthood, I miraculously recovered from illness for a time, and got stronger due to two compassionate Grammar School gym coaches, who really encouraged me to get stronger in my physical education classes. But as I got stronger, I also became more headstrong, and I got badly beaten up on several occasions in which I was the one asking for trouble. But even then, God was merciful and spared my life, and I had some really tough friends that taught those who beat me up at an unguarded moment a violent lesson that they would never forget.
On the other hand, I wasn't always a victim. I was so physically strong that I could and did physically defend myself against some people after taking up a love of track and field in the latter half of Grammar School, and in High School. At that time, I did body-weight calisthenics and ran for miles almost daily. For that reason, I was strong enough to feel confident when it came to self defense, and the defense of the weak. In fact, several of those I dealt with physically were whacked for making fun of retarded or handicapped kids in my classes.
That really riled me up because I was abused like that in kindergarten through 6th grade. This was due to the fact that I was too weak and sickly to fight back. I also beat up, or threatened to beat up some who wanted to beat me up for no reason. This continued after High school, when I was in the USAF, and afterward for a time because I had the strength to defend myself. For instance, after basic training, I could do over 50 men's push ups, 25 pull ups, 150 sit ups, and I could run a mile in under 10 minutes, and the people that tried to pick a fight with me back then usually learned to regret it.
I was a lean, mean fighting machine back then, but I also wasn't SAVED yet. But as I got older, spiritual ideas mattered to me more, and God began to show me the error of my ways. Eventually, I learned that violence is not the right answer, unless it's in self defense - such as in the case of attempted battery, rape or murder from an unprovoked assault, mugging, abduction, robbery or home invasion. But unless physical harm is threatened, I also learned that being passive is the best and most biblically sound answer. It's better to save one's life and let the robber have the goods than try to be a hero and risk your life wrestling a stronger and younger armed assailant that just wants your purse, jewelry or laptop.
But in the case of government authority, as I said earlier, there are no cases in the entire New Testament where Christians were encouraged to use physical violence, or trained to act as terrorists or guerilla warriors engaged in insurrection as a part of their spiritual development! Even in the cases in the Old Testament, when violence was called for by God, it was either to defend the Israelites from those who unfairly attacked them in defiance of God, or to rid the land of Canaan of the part-Nephilim humans that interbred with the Giants that lived in the lands that had belonged to Melchizedek (who was Noah's son Shem). This land was bequeathed to Shem's descendant Abraham, and all his physical and spiritual descendants.
These Giants that the Israelites were called to kill were the literal offspring of the Nephilim, who were the wicked offspring of the Fallen Angels with wicked human women. The ancestors of these Giants somehow survived the Flood, and God wanted these Giants eradicated because they were a corrupting influence on humanity - both spiritually and genetically. In fact, the Nephilim were ultimately meant to destroy mankind and assign them all to Hell - which is the ultimate destination of all the Nephilim and Fallen Angels, and all the people that are in love with the Devil, and are willingly possessed or controlled by his demons and his demonic power.
In fact, every war that the Israelites won was deemed necessary by God's true priests and prophets to protect them from destruction and corruption, and every war that they lost was called for by unrighteous kings, deceitful priests, or lying prophets that deceived and misled the people into fighting wars that God was using to judge and punish them with. Furthermore, these unrighteous leaders of the people were leading people who were just like them! They all were no longer living as God had commanded them to live, but had taken after living sensually, and focusing on the illicit pleasures of this life that was offered to them by the Pagan gods (i.e. demons!) that they began to follow. As a result, they were celebrating lust, sexual promiscuity and debauchery like the Pagans around them did.
But when Christ came on the scene as a man, He taught by EXAMPLE that the old ways of the Israelites were flawed, and were undertaken only to prove that mankind could never achieve true peace and prosperity on their own unless God literally helped them to learn to ALWAYS live righteously (and to stop backsliding) by giving them a dose of His own Spirit within them, and developing an intimate one on one relationship within them. Furthermore, Christ taught that, as soon as a disciple is born again by God's Spirit, they become a new creation, and the old ways are no longer in effect for the true children of God.
Instead, ALL born again saints are under a New Covenant with God, and they are being called to do as Christ did, and to live by HIS new code of passive non-violence, compassion, mercy, kindness, gentleness, and - most of all - brotherly love. We are NOT called to live by the ungodly laws of the urban jungles most of us live in now, but are told to live in peace, and to trust God to judge the world when it is time for Christ to return. When Yahshua comes to fight the Battle of Armageddon, He will destroy His enemies with the power of His might, and the sword of His Wrath will be against all those who have loved hurting or abusing His servants.
Until then, for the time being, Christ has called His disciples to live in peace with the world, to love their enemies and do good to those who curse them. To do this, saints are are called to put down their physical swords, and to pick up their spiritual swords instead, praying against the wickedness in high places, and allowing God to determine when it is time to punish the wicked. Yahshua proved this in Matthew 26:50-54, when He was about to be arrested. There, it says:
“Then they came and laid hands on Jesus and took Him. 51 And suddenly, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand and drew his sword, struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear. 52 But Jesus said to him, ‘Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword. 53 Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels? 54 How then could the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must happen thus?’”So please, my dear brothers and sisters, do not live by the sword, or you will die by the sword of wicked men and of God, Whose sword is against all those who do unauthorized violence, and who disobey His Moral Laws and Commandments, and never engage in true repentance, compassion and love. Of course, what I'm saying here only applies until the Great Tribulation starts. At that time, those who have chosen to follow Christ after the Rapture may be called by God Himself to fight the beasts, demon-possessed leaders and their followers, and the evil super soldiers of the New World Order.
THE SHEEP AND THE GOATS ARE BEING DIVIDED!
The End Time division of the Church on Earth along two ideological lines is something that God our Heavenly Father anticipated, and His Son and our Savior spoke about in several parables. This division of people into two opposing groups is also going to affect the Church, and the fate of all those who call themselves followers of Christ will be determined by how well they love one another in this world, how peaceful and nonviolent they are, and how well they keep Yahshua's or Jesus' commandments.
Now, it's interesting to note here that Christ said that He spoke to those who were not His real disciples in parables because "because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand" (Matthew 13:13). Those who can't see or hear the Lord are those who have not been born again by the Holy Spirit, and they therefore do not have a REAL two-way relationship with God or His Son.
So a large segment of the Church that is not born again and in a real relationship with God either ignores or misinterprets these parables, three of which are the Parable of the Sheep and the Goats in Matthew 25:31-46, the Parable of the Wheat and the Tares in Matthew 13:24-30, and the Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins in Matthew 25:1-13. These Parables are proclaiming that there will be two major ideological divisions in the Church, as well as in the world at large in the End Times that will both think they are serving God, but only the side that keep's Christ's commandments and loves one another as Christ loved us will actually be doing so.
Only those who are born again truly know, love and follow Christ and His commandments because the Holy Spirit is acting as their Counselor, and they hear God's voice within via words of knowledge, dreams, visions and tongues, and obey God's voice rather than doing what their flesh dictates or desires them to do. Only those who are born again and can hear God speak and obey Him will be chosen to go with Christ to Heaven in the Rapture, and to be part of His future worldwide Kingdom on the Earth, which is NOT a kingdom of this world, but a divine government with Christ as the physical, literal, bodily ruler of all.
The half of the Church that will be left out of the Rapture and the future Kingdom of God on Earth that will DESTROY the New World Order and false religious ideologies of the enemies of God is the half that knows nothing of Christ's Commandments, and also ignores His promise to return in bodily HUMAN form one day. They also know nothing of, or derisively scoff at the Signs in the Heavens and on the Earth that Christ said would herald the season of His return. According to Christ's Prophecies in the Gospels of Matthew, Chapter 24 and Luke, Chapter 21, that time is NOW, and He is coming again very soon!
The aforementioned Parables are also telling those who are born again that all the people of this world have already been, and are continuing to be divided along ideological grounds. Furthermore, they are being told that the half of the Church that does not know Christ will follow the leaders of the New World Order run by men into sudden destruction and death because this fallen world is ripe for God's Judgment and Wrath.
As we await God's judgment of the world and our deliverance from it, we need to do as Yahshua asked in regard to our enemies in this world, which are many. We need to love our enemies, bless those who curse and persecute us, and turn the other cheek (Matthew 5:43-45). We are not called to murder, kill and destroy. We are called to live in peace, and call on God to avenge us. So, if you are not loving and forgiving others just as Christ loves and forgives you when you ask, and you are not following His Ten Commandments and His Two Commandments to Love God and one another fully, you are NOT going to be spared from God's Wrath!
If you want to follow a violent path and ignore God's Commandments not to murder, kill, destroy or hate your enemies, you will be left behind to live through one of the worst times in human history, and it is coming very soon! So please, for your sake, get down on your knees in repentance today if you believe in the God of the Bible and His Son, and ask them for forgiveness, and to change your heart to match God's own. To reflect God's true heart, ask God to send you the Holy Spirit to be your inner guide to doing God's true Will, and not your own.
