Mary Magdalene Meets the Risen Christ in the Garden Where He Was Laid
(See the Gospel of John, Chapter 20
The Christian Celebration of Easter, which usually falls during Passover Week, is a particularly good time to revisit the story of Christ’s arrest, trial, scourging, crucifixion, burial, and resurrection. After much research, I’ve concluded that the Master of the Universe and Author of our Salvation probably died to pay for our sins on a Wednesday in April of 31 AD, and rose from the dead before dawn on the following Sunday after being dead three full days. Serendipitously, on the day that Christ rose, the Firstfruits wave sheaf offering was made in the Temple in Jerusalem. The ritual of waving a sheaf of new barley before the curtain in the Temple’s Most Holy Place marked the first day of counting the Omer, or the days leading up to Shavuot or Pentecost.

This year, as in the past, the Celebration of Easter or Firstfruits will fall on the Sunday after the regular Sabbath following Passover during the Feast of Unleavened Bread. As the symbolic day of the Firstfruits offering of the first or early barley harvest, Easter or Resurrection Sunday signifies the Firstfruits of the First Resurrection, which included Christ and the fortunate saints who rose on the same day that He did. As such, they were the first harvest of souls entering Everlasting Life in the Kingdom of Heaven with pristine new bodies.

Yes, you heard me right! Since the saints who rose with Christ were resurrected after His death on the Cross, they did not die again after that. They rose to Everlasting Life instead, and it is my firm belief that Yahshua appointed some of them to remain on the Earth after He ascended to Heaven in order to help advance God’s will in every age leading up to His Second Coming. This intriguing idea will be the subject of an upcoming 2013 POEM Blog article.

In honor of what Yahshua did for us on the Cross as our Passover Lamb, I am presenting this section about Passover that was taken from my 665-page book The Language of God in Humanity.” As you read this section of the book, I hope you will be blessed by it, and will find much joy in your Passover and Easter celebrations this year.

Excerpt from the book; “The Language of God in Humanity”, Chapter Nine: Our Blood Covenant with Yahweh, Section 9 Entitled Easter Not Pagan, But A Celebration of Firstfruits!” on pages 373-380:

The Pagan spring feast days that once fell on the same day that Christians celebrate Easter have ritual elements that are said to have originated among the ancient Pagans in Europe and elsewhere. Like other festivals that fall in the spring including Passover, the date for Easter is determined using the first Full Moon after the Vernal Equinox. In addition, Easter usually falls on the day that the Firstfruits offering of the barley harvest would have been offered in the Temple during the Feast of Unleavened Bread in Christ’s era.

Since Passover is a Full Moon celebration, and Easter follows the Sabbath day after that Full Moon, Passover and Easter were most likely associated with major holidays for the righteous descendents of Seth prior to the Flood as well since they understood God’s Will through Sacred Astronomy and the Gospel in the Stars. Indeed, long before Passover, the righteous followers of Yahweh probably saw this time of rebirth and renewal on the Earth as sacred unto Yahweh. In addition, they saw the Sun as a symbol for Yahweh and therefore likely chose to celebrate various divine blessings on the equinoxes and solstices - but in a markedly different way than the Pagans who worshipped themselves or demons would have chosen to.

Due to their great knowledge of Sacred Astronomy and the Precession of the Equinoxes, the Sethites and Semites knew that the Spring Equinox would move from Taurus at the time of Adam, to Aries later on. Furthermore, because of the Gospel in the Stars, they knew that both signs represented a holy altar to Yahweh covered with acceptable blood sacrifices - sacrifices that symbolized the coming Messiah. As shown in Book One, Aries is a symbol for Christ’s mercy and love for the righteous, and Taurus is a symbol of His New Covenant with mankind, His power over sin and death, His universal kingship, and the meting out of His wrath upon the wicked when He comes again in Glory.

Due to their understanding of Sacred Astronomy and the Gospel in the Stars, righteous Sethites and Semites also knew that the Sun is an allegorical symbol for Yahweh God. As a result, though they did not worship the Sun, they honored its place as the divider of the year, and determiner of the seasons. They knew that the Sun symbolizes the fact that Yah determines the times and seasons for all things in each human life, and this is true whether or not people acknowledge His place in their lives.

Sadly, however, the Pagans invented false stories around the Zodiac signs and misinterpreted most astronomical events surrounding the Sun, Moon, and planets. Worst of all, they began to worship the stars and planets as deities, and made idols to represent them in human form. They thereby perverted the teachings of Sacred Astronomy, and obscured the truths about the one true God that the stars and our Solar System were intended to teach. Stars, planets, the Sun, and the Moon became idolatrous objects of worship instead of sanctified teaching mechanisms meant to educate mankind about the nature of God and mankind’s place in God’s Plan of Salvation.

Symbols in nature that may have once represented the idea of everlasting life also came to be associated with Pagan gods and goddesses, thereby masking their true significance. These include once godly symbols such as flowers, eggs, and evergreen plants. Using the principles behind the Language of God, however, it should be easy to see that eggs, flowers, and evergreens could be symbols of something far greater than human fertility, the fecundity of the soil, and the Pagan view of everlasting life through reincarnation. Rather, they could symbolize spiritual rebirth in the symbolic womb of the Spirit of God, and the promise of everlasting life through the Resurrection.

The first Full Moon after the Spring Equinox was probably always meant to symbolize the triumph of life over death through the Resurrection. But because spring is the time of year when animals of all kinds mate and give birth, it became associated with sex and fertility as well. This association, though not unwarranted, led to the abominable practice of viewing promiscuous sex as a kind of virtue when performed to honor some god or goddess. As a result, the Full Moon nearest the Vernal Equinox, and the day of the Vernal Equinox itself, were both eventually viewed as a ready excuse for the rampant fornication openly encouraged at that time of year in many Pagan societies. In addition, the pure symbols associated with these celestial events were eventually connected to erroneous beliefs such as reincarnation, and to acts of ritual murder and infant sacrifice.

In contrast to the evil Pagan practices that became falsely associated with the Christian celebration of Easter, the traditional Jewish Passover “Haggadah” or religious service is biblically ordained and embellished with beautiful symbolism. The Jews have performed Passover and the accompanying Feast of Unleavened Bread in a manner that has not changed significantly for thousands of years. It follows, then, that if we truly want to honor Yahshua, we should celebrate Yahshua’s death and resurrection at the same time that some Jews celebrate Passover Week, which is in the seven days beginning with the Full Moon after the Vernal Equinox.

Since the Christian date for Easter is the technically correct date that the Firstfruits Offering would have been made in the Temple during Passover week, it would be fairly easy for Christians to connect their Easter celebrations with the rituals surrounding Passover, which are rich with symbolism directly pertaining to Christ and His redemptive work on the Cross. Because of this, Easter and Passover should be the most important religious holidays in the Messianic and Christian year. Though Messianics and Christians should choose to keep the biblical feasts to honor Yahshua and our heavenly Father, they do not have to keep the Passover or the Feast of Unleavened Bread in the same way that Orthodox Jews do. Instead, they are free to celebrate biblical feasts in any way that honors Yahshua and His teachings.

Though Spirit-filled Christians do not have to keep the Passover or Easter, there are many reasons why Passover Week is important for both Jews and Christians to remember and study. The major reason is that, as mentioned before, Yahshua instated the ritual of Communion on the Passover before He died. In the following excerpt from Mark’s Gospel, Yahshua offers the third cup or Cup of Redemption at the Passover service He shared with His apostles. At this time, He tells them that this cup signifies His blood - the symbolic blood of the true Passover Lamb. Before this, He offers them the unleavened bread of the Passover, called “matzo” by contemporary Jews, to signify His flesh:
“While they were eating, Jesus (Yahshua) took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, ‘Take it; this is my body.’ Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, and they all drank from it. ‘This is my blood of the Covenant, which is poured out for many,’ he said to them. ‘I tell you the truth, I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it anew in the kingdom of God.’ ” - Mark 14:12-25 (NIV)
In the preceding Scripture, Yahshua vows that He will not drink from the Passover cup again until He drinks it in the kingdom of God.” Yahshua was, of course, referring to the Millennial Kingdom - where He and His saints will rule the world for a thousand years. The clear inference here is that Yahshua intends to keep the Passover during His entire reign, and it follows that His subjects will be asked to do the same. Though those who are already resurrected at that time will not need to keep the Passover to be spiritually instructed by it, they will nonetheless keep it joyfully because they will fully know and appreciate what it represents. This knowledge will give them every cause to rejoice even as they set a perfect example for those in Yahshua’s Millennial Kingdom who are still mortal.

To understand why Yahshua wants the world to keep the Passover during His reign, we need to use our imaginations to go back in time and become familiar with the events of the very first Passover. On that day, at twilight, Yahweh ordered each Israelite family to slaughter a year-old male kid or lamb in front of the doorway leading into their home. The blood from the sacrifice was pooled in a small drainage ditch dug below the doorway. After dipping a branch in the blood, they used it to smear the blood onto the lintel (i.e. top beam) of the doorway and then the two side-posts in succession. They thereby literally drew the sign of the Cross in blood over their doorways. This blood-marked doorway was prophetically significant, but initially only promised to temporarily protect the Israelites from physical death:
“The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt.” - Exodus 12:12,13 (NIV)
On that first Passover, the blood of a lamb marked on the doorways of Israelite homes signified the blood of a Covenant that Yahweh cut with Israel alone. It was a conditional and temporary Covenant that only promised Israel protection from the Angel of Death that swept over Egypt for one night. On that night, those who ate the Covenant sacrifice (the lamb), and stayed inside houses marked with its blood survived to leave Egypt - a place that had become a terrible prison of oppression and slavery for Israel.

In the blood-dipped branches and blood-marked doorways that were a part of the first Passover, we see an analogy for the Tree of Life, since the doorframes were most likely constructed of wood. The blood-painted doorways, in fact, represented three things. First, as deadwood obtained from once living trees, the doorposts on that first Passover represented the Tree of Life destroyed. Secondly, they symbolized Christ’s blood-soaked Cross of execution. Third, the doorposts represented life to the inhabitants of each house. Therefore, these blood-marked doorways represented the bloodstained gate or doorway we all must symbolically pass through to find redemption and everlasting life.

When Yahshua said “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father but by Me,” He was declaring that He is the Gate to Heaven - and that everlasting life can only be found through belief in Him. Yahshua is therefore the symbolic gate, door, or portal we must pass through in order to get into Heaven. That is why Yahshua used analogies to doors or gates when He referred to the purpose of His ministry to mankind:
“Therefore Jesus (Yahshua) said again, ‘I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved…’ ” - John 10:7-9 (NIV)
All the Jews throughout Goshen were to go through the blood-marked doorways of their humble homes and lock themselves in. They were to remain inside all night while the Angel of Death passed over Egypt, killing all of the firstborn children and animals of the sinful Egyptians who had enslaved them. While this happened, the Israelites did as they had been commanded, roasting the slaughtered lamb whole. Then they divided the lamb into portions without breaking any of its bones, and provided one piece for each member of the family to eat so that they would be spared from the Angel of Death. They also ate bitter herbs and unleavened bread (Exodus 12:8). See the Book of Exodus, Chapters 11 and 12 to read the complete account of the first Passover.

In a similar manner, Yahweh God pronounced the death sentence on all mankind, and allows the Angel of Death to eventually claim everyone. Nevertheless, for anyone who symbolically paints the blood of Yahshua on the door of their hearts and symbolically eats His flesh in Communion, Yahweh will deliver them from eternal death and separation from God. Those who choose to drink the wine that symbolizes Christ’s blood marked Cross and eat the bread made without yeast that symbolizes Christ as our Passover Lamb will live forever. The Bible declares that Yahshua is the Passover Lamb and the Bread of Life for all believers:
“Get rid of the old yeast that you may be a new batch without yeast-as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old yeast, the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with bread without yeast, the bread of sincerity and truth.” - 1 Corinthians 5:7,8 (NIV)
“Then Jesus (Yahshua) declared, ‘I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.’ ” - John 6:35 (NIV)
Like the Manna that rained down from heaven for the Israelites in the desert, Yahshua feeds those who seek Him. He is the unleavened bread of humility and repentance, not the leavened bread puffed up with the yeast of pride and arrogance. He accepts only those who eat the unleavened bread of His truth. Unlike all the other innocent animal blood sacrifices the Israelites made to Yahweh, which were to be without obvious physical defects, Yahshua was both physically perfect and pure and sinless in character and spirit. The Jews unwittingly sacrificed the only truly perfect sacrificial lamb when they conspired with the Herodians and Romans to crucify Yahshua on Calvary.

In all the rituals surrounding the blood sacrifices offered by the Aaronic priests, fine flour mixed with salt and oil were to be offered on the altar - along with the fat and skin of the slaughtered animal. When flour, salt, and oil are mixed together, the dough formed can be used to make unleavened bread, which signifies sinlessness. Therefore, the flour, salt, and oil offered on the altar symbolized the unleavened bread that alludes to Yahshua as the yeast-free (i.e. sinless) Bread of Life. Consequently, offering oil, flour, and salt with blood sacrifices was not a senseless ritual. Instead, it was clearly ordained by Yahweh as a symbol for Yahshua – the Messiah and Redeemer who became the unleavened Bread of Life through the sacrifice of His body and blood for our sins:
“On the first of every month, present to the LORD (Yahweh) a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect. With each bull there is to be a grain offering of… fine flour mixed with oil; with the ram, a grain offering of… fine flour mixed with oil…” - Numbers 28:11-12 (NIV)
Through the symbolic Language of God hidden in the ritual acts surrounding each blood sacrifice, the Israelites were being shown the true Path to Salvation. Yet, even with these clear allusions to Christ symbolized in the many thousands of sacrifices performed by the Levites on behalf of their people every year, the Jews were still blind to the purpose of their Messiah Yahshua when He came. The Jews, however, had no excuse for not recognizing their Messiah except the ignorance that comes from practicing rituals automatically - without analyzing the reasons why the rituals were instituted in the first place.

In analyzing the symbolism behind Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, it is evident that these two feasts are riddled with symbols that are unmistakably a part of God’s allegorical Language. Sadly, however, many Jews practiced the ritual religious acts associated with these feasts without regularly analyzing their purpose. They therefore forgot the spiritual instruction symbolically built into each ritual through the Language of God. One goal of this book is to right their wrong. By analyzing the rituals and symbols connected to these two important Jewish feasts, great spiritual wisdom can be gleaned from them.

Though the rich symbolism of Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread have only been briefly touched upon here, enough has been explained to show that Christians should remember and observe them in some special way. “The Language of God in Humanity” By Helena Lehman

This excerpt was taken from the second book in my four-book Language of God Book Series, and it explores the meanings of many rituals and symbols in the Bible that pointed ahead to Christ. It also explores the Bible heroes that prefigured Christ, and prepared the way for His First Advent, as well as the meaning of many of Yahshua’s Parables. Finally,  it explores the Signs in the Heavens and the Gospel in the Stars that surrounded His First Advent, and that are tied to the Christ’s Ministry for us. A Christian View of the Meaning of Passover -
Includes A Passover Haggadah/Meal Service Plan
Description: This Christian version of the Order of Service for a Passover Meal was made in 1991, long before I became involved in the Messianic Movement. It was created in an effort to educate the people in my Evangelical Congregation of the importance of Easter, Passover, and Firstfruits as the central rituals identifying and defining the Christian faith. Since this essay is meant to serve as a “Haggadah” or “storyline” for a Christian Passover Seder or “order of service,” it is not identical to a Jewish Haggadah. Instead, with the exception of the use of “Yahshua” for Christ’s name, it is a Christian reinterpretation of a traditional Passover Seder. Recipes are included in this Haggadah to aid those who wish to prepare a special dinner, and follow this guide for their own Passover Seder. Please feel free to download, print and use this Christian Passover Haggadah at your own Christian Passover celebrations, and to add your own favorite recipes and religious songs, if desired: http://pillar-of-enoch.com/essays/#Lamb

Easter and Its Connection to Passover and Firstfruits
Hallelu-Yah for Passover, which shows the purpose of Yahshua’s death on the Cross, and Hallelu-Yah for Easter/Firstfruits, which correctly celebrates Yahshua’s resurrection from the dead as the firstfruits offering. The firstfruits offering was always made in the Temple to Yahweh on the SUNDAY of Passover week, and on Resurrection Sunday, Yahshua was presented in the heavenly Temple to Yahweh as the Firstfruits of the Resurrection into everlasting life! The Feast of Purim commemorates the amazing story of Esther in the Old Testament’s Book of Esther. The Feast of Purim was added to the Jewish religious calendar during the time of Israel’s exile in Babylonia. Purim commemorates the victory of the exiled Jews over their enemies through the courage of Hadassah, the beautiful Jewish virgin who became Esther, the Queen of Persia. Through her petition to King Ahasuerus, the Jews were able to successfully defend themselves against their foreign enemies in Persia.

Purim is celebrated in late winter - usually in March. On the Jewish Lunar Calendar, this celebration of the Jew’s victory over their enemies is always during the Full Moon on the 14th day of the 12th lunar month called Adar - one day after the Jews protected themselves successfully against their enemies on the 13th of Adar.

Interestingly, Purim is exactly one month before the Full Moon celebration of Passover. The decree to annihilate the Jews was made by Haman the day before the previous Passover, on the 13th of the first month of Nisan. Though Haman ostensibly gave the enemies of the Jews in Persia nearly a year to prepare for their slaughter of the Jews, he also gave the Jews the same amount of time to seek God’s help in providing a solution to their plight.

Amazingly, these dates seem to speak prophetically in regard to my hypothesis that the 12 Millenniums consisting of the Six Great Days of Creation, and the Six Great Days of Men’s Works are to be followed by a 13th Millennium ruled by Christ, and then by a 14th perfect Age that will be everlasting. It is important to note here that not all evil will be averted during Yahshua’s earthly reign until the very end of that time, when Satan will finally be cast into the Lake of Fire forever:

“Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations… Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. They… surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came… out of heaven and devoured them. The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire… where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented… forever and ever.” - Revelation 20:7-10 (NKJ)
This passage of Scripture is telling us that Yahshua’s long sought-after Millennial Reign will not be the end of evil on the Earth! How else could Satan still be around to tempt and deceive men, and raise a wicked army as large as “the sand of the sea” that will need to be destroyed? Instead, it will be a time when no demons, or fallen angels will be around until the very end of that Age, when the last evil tares will be weeded out from among the good wheat in the Master’s earthly garden. Therefore, the 13th day of Adar in Esther’s day was a prefiguration of the end of the Thirteenth Great Day, when Yahshua will wipe out every last trace of evil on the Earth with fire.

Recounting the Esther story, many other parallels and types can illuminate our understanding of events in the future. The story begins with King Ahasuerus throwing a banquet. Interestingly, the Bible’s Book of Ezra identifies this same King Ahasuerus by the name of Cyrus, who was also known as Xerxes, or alternatively as Artaxerxes by the Greeks. At this time, the king asks his wife Queen Vashti to come to the banquet hall. But Vashti is haughty, and apparently refuses to be put on display (perhaps because she feels underrated - like a prize mare instead of a desirable woman) (Esther 1:10-12). Interestingly, there are seven eunuchs, and seven princes who serve the king, and are his closest confidantes (Esther 1:10,14). The seven eunuchs go to fetch Queen Vashti into the king’s presence, but she refuses to come - in apparent mimicry of the Israelites who refused to go up to the top of the mountain with Moses to meet with Yahweh face to face (Exodus 20:19). It is therefore the seven princes who help the king to decide the disobedient woman’s fate as a defiant wife and queen.

This leads to Vashti’s banishment, and begins the quest to find a more deserving (i.e. humble) queen for the king. At this time, all the loveliest maidens in the kingdom are brought to the palace to be beautified over many months, after which they will be allowed to spend only one night with the king. If they please him, they will be considered for the position of queen, but if they do not, they will spend the rest of their days in a harem as unwed concubines who serve the Queen. These concubines serve as an image of the Gentile nations that will surround Jerusalem in Yahshua’s Millennial Kingdom, but will be kept at a distance from Yahshua’s Throne until they repent fully, and submit to Him.

Now, among the maidens taken from their home to become concubines, there was a lovely Jewish girl named Hadassah, who takes the name of Esther to hide her Jewish identity. Since Hadassah was a Jewess who had spent all her prior life as an orphan under the care of her loving Jewish Uncle Mordecai, it is odd that she was chosen for this role. Since Mordecai was a distinguished judge in service to the king, Hadassah surely would not have had to endure the fate of becoming a concubine unless she wanted to! This implies that Hadassah voluntarily chose this role.

Already we can see archetypes emerging in the story, with the King of Persia representing Yahweh God in His fatherly and kingly roles, while Queen Vashti signifies the Israelites that became yoked under the Law, overly proud of their privileged status with Yahweh, disdainful of all outsiders, and unwilling to extend God’s salvation to them through love, forgiveness, mercy and acceptance. In juxtaposition, we find Mordecai, a type of Christ who is the loving caretaker of Esther, and the mediator between his people and Esther, who has the ear of the king.

Meanwhile, Esther serves as a prefiguration of the True Church. For example, when Esther is taken to the palace, she leaves the ordinary world around her, and enters a separate place of unimaginable wealth and beauty. It therefore likely felt as if she had left the mundane earthly realm of her peers altogether to serve a grand role in a loftier place. In this respect, Esther’s fate prefigures the Rapture of the True Church, when all faithful believers will be taken up to Heaven to serve as the wife and Queen of the King of kings.

Due to these obvious analogies, it seems likely that the seven eunuchs and princes who serve the Persian king represent the Seven Churches of Revelation. For example, the seven eunuchs and seven princes seem directly tied to the following Scripture:

“The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.” - Revelation 1:20 (NKJ)
The seven angels in this verse can be directly connected to the seven eunuchs of King Ahasuerus’ court, while the seven lampstands, or churches are easily equated with the seven princes who serve the same king! Though these seven churches currently exist in the world, they will one day also serve their Messiah and King in Heaven as the faithful virgin attendants of the Bride of Christ.

Further on in the story, we find that Esther - who wisely chooses to hide her identity, and listen to the eunuch Hegai - pleases King Ahasuerus so well, and is so beautiful to behold that she is soon desired above all the other women in the king’s harem, and thus becomes the new Queen of Persia. This suggests that Esther not only pleases the king physically, but that her real love for him sets her apart from all the other women he knows.

Meanwhile, a drama begins to unfold outside the palace between Mordecai, and the king’s chancellor, or Vizier Haman, who hates Mordecai because he will not bow down to him like the other people do. In fact, Haman hates all the Jews for following Mordecai, who will not bow to anyone with an Amalekite heritage, as the Amalekites are the sworn enemies of Israel.

Interestingly, Haman is identified as an Agagite, which means he was a descendent of the Amalekite king called Agag (Esther 3:1; 1 Samuel 15:8). Agag may have been a descendent of the Anakim, who descended from the Nephilim, who serve as the Seed of the Serpent, or Satan in prophecy (Genesis 3:15). This is why the prophet Samuel later mercilessly hacked Agag to pieces when Saul disobeyed God and spared Agag’s life (1 Samuel 15:32-33). Sadly, in sparing Agag’s life, Saul also must have spared at least one of Agag’s genetically tainted children. Later, the descendents of Agag gave birth to Haman - a prefiguration of the Antichrist of antichrists who will rule during the Great Tribulation. Eerily, Haman has ten sons who eventually perish along with him (Esther 9:12-13). These ten sons may be a prefiguration of the ten horns or kings that will give their power to the Antichrist, which are spoken of in Daniel and Revelation (Daniel 7:24; Rev. 13:1). They may also allude to the unrepentant wicked that will be found among the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel in this Last Day.

Now, Haman plots to destroy the Jews by coaxing King Ahasuerus to give Haman the authority to pass a royal edict allowing all the enemies of Israel to rise up in arms against them on the 13th day of Adar (Esther 3:5-10). When Mordecai learns of this plot, he dresses in sackcloth and mourns. Later, Esther finds out about Haman’s plot from Mordecai, but is hesitant to go to the king because it is against the king’s law for anyone to approach him without his permission. But Mordecai warns Esther that she will likely perish anyway if she does not help her people (Esther 4:14).

Interestingly, Mordecai, the good Jew and hero of this story shares his heroic role with his niece Esther, who is a prefiguration of Israel as found in the True Church. For example, just as many people now in the True Church did to survive, Esther divorced herself from her Israelite heritage, and concealed it by eating unclean foods in the harem, worshipping God on the same days that the Persians worshipped their many gods, and by sleeping with a Gentile who was initially not even her husband. In this way, Esther ensures her survival and acceptance among the heathens she must live and work with. But, in Esther’s willingness to forsake her heritage, there is also the implication that she truly desires to please the king, and has secretly fallen in love with him. In this way, Esther and her seven choice maid servants (Esther 2:9) prefigure the True Church, which - despite its Gentile veneer - is Jewish at heart, loves God, and desires to please Him above all else.

In Mordecai, we see an honorable man who loves King Ahasuerus in a different way than Esther. He loves the king by being faithful in his duties within the king’s empire, and in his promise to protect, and honor the king, and care for his people. Mordecai shows his exemplary character when he overhears two of the king’s eunuchs plotting to assassinate the king. Interestingly, instead of going to the king himself, Mordecai tells Esther of this plot, and allows Esther to alert King Ahasuerus about it, though she gives Mordecai the credit (Esther 2:21-22). This places Esther and Mordecai in an even higher regard with the king.

After being gloriously successful in her subterfuge, and placed in a position of extreme favor as the Queen of Persia, and as the dearest love of King Ahasuerus, Esther is called to tell the truth about her Jewishness, and risk everything she has worked so hard to establish and maintain. This happens when Mordecai learns of Haman’s plot to destroy all the Jews in Persia. At this time, he again goes to Esther instead of the king, and asks her to plead the case of her unjustly condemned people before the king. To do so, Esther must swallow her fear, and go before the king without a formal summons, which is forbidden and is punishable by death. In this way, Esther behaves as those who are saved, who can go before the King of kings without fear of reprisal because the King loves them, and they love the King, despite their sins.

While the Jews fast and pray on her behalf, Esther goes to King Ahasuerus and is granted his mercy. Then, Esther cunningly invites the evil Haman and King Ahasuerus to her palace apartments to share a banquet for two days in a row. However, after they drink wine together on the second day, Esther reveals that she is a Jewess, and tells how Haman has plotted to destroy the Jews. Note here how Esther shares a banquet with the good King Ahasuerus and the evil Haman for two days. This echoes the 2000-year period allotted for the Church Age, which closed in the year 2000. In fact, we are now in the Last Day, and Yahshua is coming soon! Despite this, however, God has granted mankind an additional 10-year period for His Grace to be carried out in history, and then the seven-year period of God’s Tribulation Wrath will come before Christ’s Millennial Kingdom becomes a reality. The prophecies that foretold this period are discussed at length in Book Four, “The Language of God in Prophecy.”

Now, because Mordecai alerts Esther of the plot to kill the king, and then later asks her to appeal to the king to save her people from certain destruction, these two related people share an interesting allegorical role that reveals a startling truth. This is the fact that there are two spiritual houses of Israel, as can be seen allegorically in the behavior of one avowed Jew, and one heathenized Jewess. These are the House of Judah, and the House of Israel, or Ephraim. Both of these houses are filled with believers in the same God, and both see a need for a Messiah, though those in the House of Judah are Jews and Messianics seeking an earthly and spiritual kingdom, while those in Israel/Ephraim are Gentiles and faithful Lost Israelites seeking the heavenly kingdom within.

*******************************************

In the roles of Mordecai and Esther, several truths that pertain to the Church Age emerge, especially during the End Times. First of all, in Mordecai we allegorically see Yahshua’s Spirit alerting His beloved children of impending danger, and then we see God the Father providing a means of escape for them. Secondly, on an even deeper scale, we can see that Mordecai and Esther represent the Two House Church, or congregation consisting of Judah (as Mordecai) and Ephraim (as Esther). Furthermore, we can see that these two Houses are being called to work together. In fact, one day soon they will be forced to unite, and help one another during one of the darkest moments in human history - the time of the Great Tribulation. That time is very near, and “The Language of God” Book Series is a product of God’s Spirit moving to unite these warring factions of Christ’s invisible Kingdom, and to prepare them to fight the coming battle against the Antichrist.

Sadly, a large portion of this united Two House Church will be on Earth to fight that coming battle to its conclusion. They will be on Earth because they are left behind in the Rapture. Of the billions of avowed Christians in the world today, perhaps only a few hundred million faithful believers have set themselves apart from the apostate churches, and will be spared the plagues of that terrible time via the Rapture (Rev. 3:10; 4:1-2). Nonetheless, this event will serve to awaken many apostates from their sinful slumber. These Tribulation Saints will fight the Antichrist, many will be martyred, and all of them will be resurrected into Christ’s glorious conquering army at Armageddon (Rev. 19:11-15).

Interestingly, after the Rapture, the Jews living in Israel will be like the small portion of Jews who faithfully returned to the Promised Land before the events in Esther, even though doing so meant forsaking their property and high standing in Persia, and instead enduring privation and toil in Israel in order to do God’s Will. Likewise, many Jews had to leave everything they had behind in order to move to Israel, and build a new life for themselves far from their exilic homes among the Gentiles.

This exploration of the allegorical messages in Esther reveals that Esther actually is a prophetic book with a message that was to remain hidden until this era, which is just before the time of Jacob’s Trouble that it defines, and the subsequent coming of the King of kings that it promises. This coming of Yahshua as King can be seen in the triumphant figure of Mordecai, who is dressed with the colors, and regalia of the coming princely Messiah:

“So Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, with a great crown of gold and a garment of fine linen and purple; and the city of Shushan rejoiced and was glad.” - Esther 8:15 (NKJ)
Just as Yahshua is depicted in a blue thread among the white ones making up the tassels on a prayer shawl, or Tallit, Mordecai is first dressed in blue and white like an Israelite priest and Persian prince, and then has purple and gold draped over this to show his elevation to the status of Vizier of the king. As the new Vizier, Mordecai took the place of the evil Haman, just as Christ will one day take the place now unlawfully held by Satan as the evil ruler of this dark world.

Indeed, our current world is full of lovers of pleasure like the Jews who stayed in Persia, rather than lovers of God like the faithful remnant of Jews who returned to Israel to rebuild Jerusalem and the Temple. They therefore will be left behind to fight the battle against the Antichrist. Sadly, however, unlike the victorious Jews who suffered few losses from their battle with their enemies in ancient Persia, the Tribulation Saints will almost lose this coming modern war, and will suffer greatly until Christ intervenes with His army of angels and saints, and saves the day with His “glorious appearing” (Titus 2:11-13).

The Sinister Origins of the
Nephilim Giants or Reptilians

Author's Foreword from the Upcoming Book:
"The Language of God in History"

Copyright 2007-2009
By Helena Lehman

Author's Note:
The following article consists of the actual Author's Foreword from my new book “The Language of God in History,” which contains hundreds of pages of exciting information about the Watchers, or Annunaki, and the Nephilim, or Giants that were on the Earth prior to the Great Flood। It serves as an exciting introduction to one of the most interesting books in “The Language of God” Book Series। I hope you enjoy reading it, and I welcome your feedback about it.

“The Language of God in History” was written for two major reasons. First, it is an educated Christian response to the virulent anti-biblical attitudes among world secular academia, New Agers, and Neo-Pagans. Secondly, it is in response to the many alien conspiracy advocates and Darwinists who use author Zechariah Sitchin’s corrupted research surrounding the Watchers (i.e. Sitchin’s Annunaki) and their Nephilim “offspring” to support Evolution, and to suggest that modern human beings, or Homo-Sapiens are the by-product of alien genetic manipulation.

This manipulation of apes or Neanderthals by the fallen angels (a.k.a. the Watchers, or Annunaki) or their Nephilim offspring (a.k.a. giants or reptilians) supposedly resulted in the development of Homo sapiens, which Sitchin claims were created to be a quasi-intelligent slave race geared to serve the Watchers and Nephilim prior to the Great Flood. However, though humanity was subjugated by the Nephilim both before and after the Flood, the Bible teaches that mankind was created as a unique and fully developed animal species long before the Watchers came down to Earth. The fallen among the Watchers did, however, use genetic engineering to create the Pre-Flood Nephilim - some of whom somehow survived the Flood to produce the Post-Flood Anakim and Rephaim giants in an almost successful attempt to corrupt and destroy all life on Earth.

Some conspiracy theorists also believe in the Gap Theory, which supposes that another creation and destruction of the Earth by water occurred in an imagined gap of omission between the first two sentences of the Book of Genesis. The theory goes that the Watchers or Annunaki were the first beings to inhabit the Earth, which was subsequently completely destroyed by a worldwide flood. This imagined flood would date to approximately 8,000 years before Noah’s Flood in 2347 BC. This argument is often used by Evolution-touting Christians to support their belief in Darwin’s theories, as the Gap Theory allows them to add as many imagined years as they want to biblical chronologies so that it will coincide with current evolutionary thinking.

Nonetheless, the Gap Theory is totally against the teaching of the Bible, and is misleading millions of people into believing falsehoods about the past that have absolutely no basis in fact. For example, many conspiracy theorists who accept the Gap Theory also believe that mankind is the product of genetic manipulation with Watcher, and/or Nephilim genetic material. However, the Bible tells us that God created mankind in His image, not in the image of a subhuman ape, or genetically-engineered Nephilim monster!

In fact, the writer of Genesis specifically stated that God saved Noah because he “was perfect in his generations” and “the earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence” (Genesis 6:9-11). He made this statement to clarify that both Noah and his sons were still perfectly human - with no Nephilim blood mixed in! In short, they were the only people who had not become genetically corrupted, and violently unstable.

Humanity had sunken so low from genetic corruption by the time of Noah that they had inherited the Nephilim penchant for perpetual violence and bloodlust. As evidenced in the Book of 1 Enoch and the Book of Jasher, the Watchers succeeded in corrupting nearly all divinely-created life forms by mixing the genes of animals, birds and reptiles together in a multitude of ways to create a seemingly endless array of hybrid Nephilim monsters. Furthermore, these mutant creatures had no compulsion to follow God’s laws, and therefore became grossly wicked.

Sadly, because the Nephilim were cunning and powerful, mankind gradually succumbed to their evil ways, and became genetically corrupted with their genes through sexual unions that produced mutant hybrid children. The resultant mutant humanoid races were as disdainful of God’s laws, and as evil and violent as their Nephilim forbears. This is why God grieved that He had created mankind, and wanted to destroy all life on the Earth (Genesis 6:5-7). Thankfully, there were still some pure animals and plants among every species on Earth just before Noah’s Flood, or no animals would have been allowed to board the Ark.

Nonetheless, God’s plan to completely destroy the Nephilim scourge in the Great Flood was somehow thwarted. This is why God chose Abraham and the Israelites. Yahweh wanted to raise up a purely human army of believers who would trust their one true Creator God for the help they needed to defeat their inhuman enemies. As will be shown in Chapter Eight of this book, the Israelites were chosen by God to kill all the Nephilim or Giants who had survived the Flood. They were ordered to do so because these evil alien beings had conquered the Sethites who originally lived in Canaan until shortly after Abraham’s time. Furthermore, they had expressly done so to prevent Abraham’s descendents from taking the Promised Land that God had promised them.

As explained in the Book of Jasher, Melchizedek, the king of Salem, was none other than Shem. As Noah’s and God’s favored son, Shem was the leading patriarch of the Shemite (i.e. Semitic) clans, and he resided in Canaan, which was to one day become known as Israel. Furthermore, the city of Salem that Melchizedek governed over was in the location of the future city of Jerusalem. This is why Melchizedek honored Abraham, and vise versa. They both must have been divinely informed of God’s plan for Abraham’s offspring to one day inhabit Canaan forever. In addition, they both likely secretly knew that God had a plan to destroy the Giants, which required these mutants to invade Canaan.

Per God’s plan, the Nephilim were provoked by their hatred of God’s chosen people to invade Canaan to annihilate and subjugate the human populace, and then settle there - thus ensuring that most of the Giants would eventually be gathered into one place after the Flood. This made it much easier for Abraham’s descendents to destroy the Nephilim, and reclaim their stolen land for Yahweh. Assuming this explains partly why Shem didn’t simply give the land to his eleventh generation grandson Abraham at that time that they were introduced to each other, since Abraham was the heir to God’s promises to Shem.

The true conspiracy behind all the problems in the Middle East today is that this information is plainly recorded in the Bible and Book of 1 Enoch, but pastors have either been taught not to teach about this, or refuse to do so. Yet this Nephilim conspiracy to destroy mankind is partly behind the hatred of the sons of Ishmael for the sons of Isaac. It is also exacerbated by the jealousy and sibling rivalry between Ishmael and Isaac, which has never been resolved.

To further complicate the situation, the Nephilim-tainted Philistines of ancient times have metamorphosed into the Palestinian people of today. Just as the Anakim, Amorites, Amalekites, and Philistines were Israel’s bitterest enemies, their modern counterparts hate and desire to provoke and/or kill all the spiritual (i.e. Christian) and literal (i.e. Jewish) descendents of Abraham living in Israel, and throughout the world.

Because ten of the twelve Israelite spies who were sent into Canaan to scout their defenses were afraid of these Nephilim giants, God forced the Israelites to wander in the Sinai for forty years (See Numbers, Ch.13 & 14). This served as a blessing in disguise, since - during their wilderness wanderings - the Israelites became physically fit, hardened warriors that were ready to fight their most fearsome enemies.

Subsequently, when the Israelites returned to Canaan, they had lost their slave mindset and - even more importantly - had learned to trust God. As a result of their new-found faith in Yahweh’s power, they had virtually no trouble defeating most of the Philistines, Giants, Anakim and Rephaim in Canaan, and winning the Promised Land for Yahweh. As will be shown in this book and Book Four, however, the bloodline of the Nephilim was sadly not fully extinguished, and can be associated with some of the aristocratic and noble bloodlines in Europe, Great Britain and the Middle-East today.

This book - and the series it is a part of - was written to reveal many of the truths about the One True God and His Creation that the Nephilim, fallen angels, and the pagans who followed them have mocked, perverted, hid, or otherwise tried to destroy since the dawn of time. For this reason, though this book has been written to stand alone, it is meant to be read in conjunction with the other books in the series, and is most beneficial when viewed as part of the set. However, if you do not have access to these books, you can still gain much from this single volume in the series. As you continue to read, may Yahweh bless you on your spiritual journey into the secrets of the past.

Was The Original Sin A Sexual One?

NOTE: This Article was Revised and Updated on June 7th, 2013

Among the apocryphal literature and Jewish Midrash that have survived to modern times, there are a few Judeo-Christian writings that suggest that Eve did not eat a literal fruit when she sinned, but transgressed against God and Adam by engaging in forbidden sexual encounters with the “Serpent” guise of the fallen angel Azazel or Satan in the Garden of Eden. As a result, there is a growing body of people who believe that Eve sinned by having unauthorized sex with the Serpent. Even more oddly, some people believe that this serpent was a reptilian humanoid that either was Azazel’s true form, or that this reptilian was possessed by the spirit of the fallen angel Azazel, also known as Lucifer or the Devil. Finally, some people think that this reptilian being was the biological father of Eve’s firstborn son Cain. Therefore, by this warped hypothesis, Eve became the first human woman to sleep with a fallen angel and also the first to be transformed into an evil demoness or siren that is known today by the name of Lilith.

By this reasoning, Eve’s son Cain would not have been fully human but a hybrid Nephilim monster that hated mankind as much as his father the Devil! In this way, Eve supposedly gave birth to the literal “seed of the Serpent” mentioned in Genesis 3:15 - the one that God promised would eventually be defeated by the Seed of the “Woman” or Holy Spirit, whose “Seed” is Yahshua. However, though a Nephilim seed of the Serpent was eventually born by a human woman, it was not by an innocent and sweet maiden named Eve. Instead, as is shown in Chapter Five of The Language of God in History,” the first woman to literally sleep with Satan was most likely a brazen, fallen temptress named Naamah, the gorgeous but evil daughter of Lamech the Cainite!

Now, before we begin destroying the erroneous premise that Satan fathered Cain via Eve, let me make it clear that, though allegorical meanings are frequently implied in Scripture, their literal meaning must also be taken into consideration and understood so that any allegorical messages hidden there are not misconstrued. The story of Adam and Eve in the Garden is one such case, and since Genesis literally forms the foundation of the Judeo-Christian faith, we must be extra careful not to read anything into it that is not meant!

Secondly, though the Garden of Eden was a real garden that was filled with literal fruit-bearing trees, they have an allegorical meaning that is defined by Scripture. The allegorical meanings are therefore not simply to be interpreted in any way by our imaginations. For example, the Tree of Life was a literal tree that also has a scriptural connection to Yahshua as our spiritual sustenance and the Giver of everlasting life. This is also conveyed by the rite of Communion, where Yahshua is pictured as the Bread of Life, the True Vine, the New Wine, and the Living Water. The Tree of Life is also a symbol of the Cross of Christ, whereby a dead man hung on a dead tree secured the promise of everlasting life for all living things and became the source of new life and redemption for all Creation! Therefore, the Tree of Life ideally represents one’s deep and abiding love for Yahweh God, His Son and His Spirit as well as one’s obedience to God.

Thirdly, like the Tree of Life, the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil was a literal tree that bore fruit that was pleasing to the eye. But just as the Tree of Life signified one’s love for and obedience to God, the Tree of Knowledge signified the rebellion against God epitomized in the person of Satan, who spiritually twisted and then physically possessed a once wise and beautiful Serpent in order to deceive Eve. Therefore, the Tree of Knowledge could not offer light or wisdom but only darkness, error and death through the act of rebellion against God.

Now, scholars that argue that Eve became Lilith and slept with the Devil argue that the “fruit” in the Garden of Eden was supposed to be an allegorical reference to sexual acts, and the “trees” allegorically represented people. But if this is the true allegorical meaning, then when Eve said she could eat the fruit from almost any tree in the Garden of Eden, she was indicating that she could have sex with anyone she wanted! But could God truly have meant this? Since one of the Ten Commandments is “do not commit adultery,” it is logical to assume that God meant no such thing! Let’s read the passages in question here:
“Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God (Yahweh Elohim) had made. And he said to the woman, ‘Has God indeed said, “You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” And the woman said to the serpent, ‘We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, “You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.”’ Then the serpent said to the woman, ‘You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.’ So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food… and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked…’” - Genesis 3:1-7 (NKJ)
Now, if these passages are interpreted the way proponents of the Eve as Lilith hypothesis maintain, they would be suggesting that Eve could promiscuously have sex with anyone she wanted to have it with except the crafty Serpent, who was represented by the Tree of Knowledge! Furthermore, since the Tree of Life in the Garden allegorically represented Christ, and Eve could eat from that tree, then this passage would be saying that Eve could have sex with Yahshua too, and this is not only heretical, but ludicrous!

In addition, since Adam ate from the same fruit as Eve and that fruit was supposedly the act of sex, this line of reasoning can only lead to one totally absurd conclusion: that Adam also had sex with the Serpent when he ate the forbidden fruit! Unfortunately, this conclusion is so far-fetched that it doesn’t even bear consideration - especially since it can be rationally concluded and scripturally proven that Adam was desperately in love with Eve, was originally sinless and like Yahshua in character, and was not deceived like Eve. Furthermore, thinking that the Original Sin was sexual in nature is patently heretical, since it attempts to discredit the idea that any transgression against God is sinful.

The idea that Eve sinned sexually with the fallen angel Azazel in the guise of a Serpent and had Cain by him is not only reprehensible, but seems illogical when examined rationally. First of all, Adam and Eve were perfectly innocent before they fell into sin. As a result, neither Eve nor Adam struggled with feelings of lust. Furthermore, if Eve had sinned in such a way toward Adam, his righteous anger toward her would have been reason enough for him to reject her! This also makes no sense since it is likely that Adam only ate the fruit Eve ate because he could not bear to be separated from her for eternity. This could not have been the case, however, if Adam was consumed by anger over Eve’s betrayal.

Remember that the Apostle Paul declared that Adam was not deceived, but only Eve (1 Timothy 2:14). This means that - before biting the forbidden fruit - Adam unquestionably knew that Azazel had lied to Eve, but he loved Eve too much to spend eternity without her! So Adam ate the fruit out of a desire not to lose Eve. Indeed, Adam loved Eve so much that he was completely willing to suffer and die for her, and hence it was the first Adam who set the pattern for the Messiah who was to come and reverse Adam’s folly! This is why Yahshua was called the “Second Man” and the “Last Adam” by the Apostle Paul:
“And so it is written, ‘The first man Adam became a living being.’ The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual. The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.” - 1 Corinthians 15:45-47 (NKJ)
This Scripture teaches us that, though Adam’s love for Eve caused him to sin against God and bring death and despair into the world, Yahshua’s love for us caused Him to glorify God the Father, obey Him, and bring abundant life and hope into the world:

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” - John 10:10 (NKJ)
In the preceding Scripture, Azazel or Lucifer is the thief who brought us the agony of death through his desire to kill us all, while Yahshua is the life-giver who gives life so abundantly when we love Him that it springs up into resurrection and everlasting life:
“Jesus (Yahshua) answered and said to her, ‘Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.’” - John 4:14 (NKJ)
Besides showing us how Christ came to undo the damage that Adam had done by loving Eve more than he loved God the Father or His preincarnate Son and Spirit, Scripture makes it perfectly clear that Adam was the biological father of Cain:
“Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain, and said, ‘I have acquired a man from the LORD (Yahweh).’” - Genesis 4:1 (NKJ)
Thus, the Bible confirms that Cain was “a man,” not a Nephilim or reptilian, and Adam was Cain’s true father. However, many cite the fact that Cain behaved differently than Adam did by killing Abel as proof that Azazel fathered Cain - thus turning Cain into a Nephilim! However, they are too blind to see that Adam brought death to all mankind through his foolishness. Nonetheless, just as Adam was manipulated by Satan’s cunning when he chose to follow Eve into rebellion rather than lose her, Cain’s jealousy allowed Satan to manipulate him into killing Abel. However, to be fair to Adam, we need to remember that Eve literally shared Adam’s flesh, bone and spirit. Therefore, due to Azazel’s overwhelming hatred of Adam and Eve and all their future children, no other human couple has even known the perfect love and intimacy that this first married couple only had a brief chance to share.

In reality, the suggestion that Eve could so easily be tempted into sinning against Adam completely defies the nature of how perfectly matched Adam and Eve were. You see, Eve was Adam’s perfect soul mate. As soul mates, their bond of intimacy and love was stronger than anything we can possibly imagine in our fallen condition. In fact, anyone who professes to have a soul mate could not know what this truly means unless they were Adam or Eve, who were sinless in the beginning and likewise shared the radiant Shekinah Glory of God. Indeed, because Eve was formed from Adam’s rib, they even shared almost identical DNA!

Though some might argue that Eve did not have the baptism of the Spirit to give her the ability to resist temptation, there is good reason to believe that Adam and Eve were both indwelled by God’s Spirit before they fell. However, their initial covering with the Spirit of God which clothed them with the Shekinah Glory or Light of God in the Garden of Eden was conditional on their good behavior. They needed to remain obedient to God to keep that Spirit covering of light and truth to do the good works that God ordained for them to do. In contrast, humanity’s New Covenant with Christ offers unconditional salvation and communion with God and an irrevocable baptism with the Holy Spirit to anyone who loves and accepts Christ, asks for His mercy and forgiveness, and sincerely asks and wants to become like Him.

Adam and Eve’s possession of the Holy Spirit before their fall into sin is inferred because the first human couple were unaware of their nakedness before they sinned, but clearly could see that they were naked after they sinned. Now, many argue that this was a sign that Eve’s disobedience gave mankind intelligence and the ability to reason. However, if Adam and Eve were created in God’s image, they would already have had God’s sentience, wisdom and Spirit! As a result, there was nothing good that they did not already possess. They knew God’s total goodness and perfection and shared in it because they were filled with His Spirit and clothed with His Shekinah at the moment that they were created! They did not need to earn the right to share in God’s Glory or dominion over all Creation as we do, but they nonetheless could lose it as a consequence of disobedience to God.

Sadly, when Adam and Eve sinned by being disobedient, later events in the Book of Genesis make it clear that they and all their descendents lost the perfect knowledge and discernment that God had given them through His Spirit. At the moment Adam and Eve fell, they lost the Shekinah that had clothed them with beautiful, radiant light. As a result, they quickly discovered the unpleasant emotions associated with nakedness, shame, and guilt. Indeed, Eve would have seen Adam’s shock at her nakedness as she offered him the fruit, and she would have soon known that what Satan had given her was not the truth or the uplifting and empowering knowledge of godhood, but a terrible lie. Eve thus gained the horrible knowledge of sin and its destructive spiritual, emotional, and physical consequences.

How sad it is that so many of Eve’s progeny still seek the godhood that she could never achieve without Yah’s miraculous intervention. Yet, therein lies the reason why the Two House Church of Judah and Ephraim are to marry Yahshua as His Bride! Through Christ, all born-again believers shall finally gain Eve’s desire to be like God - but through obedience rather than rebellion!

Based on these reasons, it is highly likely that Eve actually did eat the fruit of a real tree when she sinned, just as the Bible states, and no allegorical meaning was intended. Though Eve may have been mesmerized by the beauty of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, and by the persuasiveness of the Serpent’s speech, her overwhelming love for Adam and her emotional connection to him would have been strong enough to keep her from entering into any sexual sin with someone else - angelic or not.

Nonetheless, Satan was extremely cunning and knew exactly how to cajole Eve into sin. First, from the biblical narrative, it is apparent that the Serpent approached Eve when Adam was not nearby. There is, however, no suggestion that Adam and Eve were angry at each other, and this was highly unlikely anyway because they were so perfectly matched and totally sinless at the time. So, while Eve worked in the garden that God had given the first human couple to tend, a clever Serpent approached Eve that she never had reason to fear before. This Serpent, who knew how to communicate with Eve (possibly on a telepathic level), was no doubt possessed by Azazel or Satan. Hidden in this guise, Azazel began to fill Eve’s mind with enormous doubt and suspicion against her heavenly Father, and made it clear that the only way she would be able to satisfy her curiosity and find out if God had lied to her would be to disobey God.

Note that the Serpent did not beguile Eve with promises of sensual pleasure as would be expected if he was attempting to have sex with her. Instead, Azazel used the Serpent to tempt Eve by fomenting a greedy desire within her for knowledge and godhood:
“The serpent said to the woman, ‘You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.’” - Gen. 3:4-5 (NKJ)
It was therefore not sexual sin, but Eve’s pride and greed for greatness that caused her to sin, and to thereby lose her Shekinah Glory covering. Incidentally, pride and greed are also what caused Lucifer or Azazel to sin against Yahweh, so he was merely reutilizing the same arguments with Eve that he had used to rationalize his own decision to rebel against God in the first place!

When Adam saw the terrible result of Eve’s folly through her nakedness, he realized that Eve was now mortal and sinful, and because light and darkness cannot dwell together, they would be separated forever unless he chose to follow her into sin. Adam also knew that the moment he took a bite of that fruit, he would suffer the same fate as Eve, and would lose the Shekinah that had clothed him and Eve with light. But he chose to do it anyway out of love for Eve. Thus, they both lost the Holy Spirit and the Shekinah that covered them at the moment they sinned, and they suddenly knew the pain of evil emotions like guilt, shame, fear, loss, and blame for the first time - not to mention the physical pain that would come when they were expelled from the Garden.

After her fall from grace, Eve likely no longer felt kindly toward the Serpent, but extreme loathing. Perhaps she even felt hatred toward another living thing for the first time in her life. Indeed, Adam and Eve would have known soon enough that Azazel was the real culprit behind the Serpent’s cunning, and they both likely communicated their enormous anger toward the Serpent for allowing Azazel to deceive them when they sinfully passed their own blame onto him for their fall.

For the preceding reasons, it is likely that Eve was smitten by the beguiling Serpent’s overwhelming charm, scintillating erudition, and mesmerizing speech to take a bite of a real fruit she should not have eaten, and then was subsequently ashamed and repentant. After all, Eve would have known immediately after losing her Shekinah Glory covering that the Serpent had lied to her, and this would have become even more apparent when Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden and were forced to toil and labor for their food in a suddenly hostile environment.

Nonetheless, because they were totally cut off from God’s guidance after being cast out of Eden, Adam and Eve continued to sin and - whether or not they desired it - they were both eventually worshipped as deities - as will be shown later in this book. As a result, the Serpent’s prediction that Eve would be like God when she discovered evil proved true - but only in the most twisted and basest sense. As the first father and mother of all the living, Adam and Eve were unique among human beings, and even though it was sinful to worship them or turn them into idols, they were eventually seen as deities whether they liked it or not.
