😇THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO BE SAVED!😇

In the Gospel of John Chapter 3, verses 16 through 18, it says:

John 3:16-18 - “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

Verse 16 of the above passage is often quoted as upholding the notion that the only qualifying factor in salvation is belief in Yahshua or Jesus as the Son of God. But notice that verse 18, which is often ignored, says that belief in Yahshua includes believing in the NAME of the only begotten Son of God. In one of the Language of God books that I wrote, I expounded upon the fact that the Name of Yahshua or Jesus literally means "Yah Saves" or "God is Salvation", and so believing in His Name is believing in His Divine Character. Yahshua's Divine Character begins with His origin as the Creator of everything GOOD in the Universe for the Father (See Colossians 1:15-20).

Secondly Yahshua Character includes His ministry to humanity as the only Son of the Father, as the King of the Universe, as the Great High Priest, as the Light of the World and the Good Shepherd or Protector of His loyal sheep. and as the Suffering Servant of Isaiah 53, who lays down His life so that the sheep can have everlasting life through Him. So Yahshua's multi-faceted character works together to bring salvation to all who love Him because of His love for us and our Heavenly Father, and because of our Heavenly Father's love for us and His Son! We therefore need to ask ourselves: what does believing in and loving Yahshua mean in the context of His Character? Well, it's not hard to find the answers, because Yahshua gave us thorough instructions about this later in the Gospel of John, where it says:

John 14:15-16 - “If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray (to) the Father, and He will give you another Helper (the Holy Spirit), that He may abide with you forever.”

Yahshua or Jesus Himself said that He loves and watches over those who love Him by KEEPING HIS COMMANDMENTS! So believing in Yahshua means loving Him enough to keep His commands! In the following passages, it is Yahshua Himself speaking to His disciples:

John 14:21 - “He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” 

John 15:10 - “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.”

So if we want to apply what Yahshua said to His disciples in John Chapters 14 and 15, a saved person has to know what Yahshua's Commandments are in order to keep them, and he or she has to WANT TO KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS because they love Him!

Yahshua's Commandments are not difficult to find or remember.
They are:

1. Love Yahweh your Elohim with your whole heart, soul and mind.
    (See Deut. 6:5; Deut. 11:1-3;  Matthew 22:36-38)

2. Love your neighbor as you strive to love yourself.
    (See Leviticus 19:18, 34; Matthew 22:39; Romans 13:9)

3. Partake of the Lord's Supper to remember your commitment
    to follow Him until He returns.
    (See Luke 22:18-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-25)

4. WATCH for Yahshua's return on the clouds from Heaven.
    (See Matthew 24:41-43; Mark 13:34-37; Luke 12:37)

Now you need to ask yourself how you can show that you love God with your whole heart and soul and mind. Is it by worshiping God and Yahshua, and praising His Holy Name ALL DAY LONG? That would be a good start! But how can Yahshua equip you to love yourself and to love others as He loves you if YOU DO NOT DRAW NEAR TO HIM CONSTANTLY AND KNOW WHAT GOD WANTS FROM YOU, AND HOW VERY MUCH HE DOES LOVE YOU?

To know how much God loves mankind, you need to become familiar with His moral commandments in the books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy, beginning with the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20:1-17 since Yahshua's two great commandments are actually taken from the Old Testament Moral Law. This is because the Moral Law expresses how we should treat ourselves and one another, and the context through which our love and mercy for others should be expressed.

I'm not talking about the ritual laws concerning blood sacrifices or the priesthood here, but the moral laws that govern human behavior toward one another. Contrary to popular Christian belief, these moral laws were never nailed to the Cross! Only the Sacrificial and Priestly Laws were done away with at Christ's crucifixion! However, this is NOT a works-based type of salvation I'm talking about here! It's a RELATIONSHIP-based one when the focus is on loving God with your whole heart! YOU CAN'T LOVE SOMEONE WITH YOUR WHOLE HEART UNLESS YOU WANT TO SPEND EVERY WAKING MOMENT WITH THEM!

In John 14:16, Yahshua said that He gives His Holy Spirit to those who desire and strive to KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS! Furthermore, in John 14:21, Yahshua or Jesus said that He will manifest Himself to those who love Him by keeping His Commandments! This means that He will show Himself to them and they will see Him with their own eyes in visions and dreams! Furthermore, the Apostle Paul said that the Spirit of God living in us is the SEAL of our salvation (See Ephesians 1:13, 4:30). Therefore, without that Spirit engaging us daily to live our lives for Yahshua or Jesus, we are NOT saved!

So, by Yahshua's own definition, if you love Him more than the world, and you seek to go out of your way TO PLEASE Yahshua instead of the world daily, YOU WILL RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT AND BECOME SAVED! But if you love the things of this world more than Yahshua or Jesus, and you find the filth and lust and desire of the world winning out over Him every day, then you will not receive the Holy Spirit and you ARE NOT SAVED! 

Think about it! READ IT! Your body is supposed to be the literal Temple of God:

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 - “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.” 

1 Corinthians 6:19 - “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?”

Did you read that last sentence? What does it say? It says YOU ARE NOT YOUR OWN! The reason this is so is because you belong to God ALONE when you give your life to Christ! So if you pollute God's Temple constantly with every unclean and sinful thing from the carnal world that is perishing all day long, and do not make every effort to flee from worldly sin and filth, and to keep your body free from spiritual and physical contaminants, do you think the Holy Spirit is going to want to reside in you?

The answer to that is ABSOLUTELY NOT! For our God is holy and pure, even as His Spirit is! He therefore expects us to be striving to be like Him daily, or He will not want His Spirit to dwell within us! This is why Paul said: “If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him!”

SO WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO TO BE SAVED? SAY IT WITH ME!

“TO BE SAVED, I NEED TO LOVE YAHSHUA WITH MY WHOLE HEART, SOUL AND MIND, I NEED TO STRIVE TO KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS TO LOVE OTHERS AS HE DOES, AND I NEED TO ASK HIM TO HELP ME TO RESIST THE DEVIL AND KEEP HIS TEMPLE IN MY BODY CLEAN!”

That is the ONLY WAY to be saved! Indeed, ONLY Yahshua is the Way, the Truth, and the LIFE, and no one can come before the Father in Heaven but THROUGH HIM! (SEE John 14:6) We need to be intimate friends with Yahshua and His Spirit in order to be saved, because it is the entrance of the Holy Spirit into our hearts upon belief in the life, death and resurrection of Yahshua that seals us for salvation and everlasting life, and helps us to love others as Christ does!

HOW YAHSHUA'S TRUE DISCIPLES DEFINE SALVATION!

A Beggar Being Ignored By Prospering Christians -"Faith Without Works Is Dead!"

If you are a believer in Yahshua or Jesus, you believe that this statement is true: "Salvation is by Grace, not of Works, so that no one can boast" (Ephesians 2:1-10). Indeed, true Salvation is by the Unmerited Divine Favor or Grace that's given to those who know that they are terrible sinners in need of a Savior. They also know that the ONLY way that they can know how to identify sin and flee from it is through knowing Yahweh's Moral Law (Romans 3:19-26).

After being convicted of sin through the Law, sinners must want to repent or TURN AWAY from their sins (Acts 2:38), and they must believe that they are in need of a perfect Savior. Furthermore, they must know that there is only ONE Savior or Messiah, and He is called Yahshua the Messiah. But if you're not showing good works inspired by the Holy Spirit in you, it's evidence that your salvation is either not legitimate or is incomplete, and that you are not born again yet (Acts 8:12-17). Being born again is a gift of believing in Yahshua or Jesus that seals us with the Holy Spirit for the day of our redemption. As the Apostle Paul wrote:

Ephesians 1:13-14 ~ “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.” 

This statement about how we are sealed with the Holy Spirit when we believe in Yahshua sounds clear and simple enough. Unfortunately, however, it has been abused because some people lack understanding of what it means to BELIEVE in Yahshua so that we can be sealed and counseled by the Spirit of God. Belief in Yahshua is not just the act of recognizing that we need a perfect Savior, and that Yahshua - as the Incarnate Son of God - is the only one that will do. According to the Word of God, believing in Yahshua means that we not only believe that He is the Son of God that was born of a virgin, but that He also lived a perfect life, never sinned, and was tortured and died a criminal's death to pay for our sins once and for all time. It also means that we believe that Yahshua rose from the dead with a literal flesh and bone body (See Luke 24:39), that He was spiritually empowered with amazing strength and everlasting life, and that He imparts the gift of the Holy Spirit only to those who truly love and follow Him (See 1 Corinthians 15:1-8, quoted at end).

I am emphasizing that last point on the nature of a saving type of belief because Yahshua explicitly stated that His true disciples love Him so much that they keep His Commandments (John 14:15-21). Yahshua also said that His Commandments call us to to love our Heavenly Father Yahweh fully, to love ourselves fully, and to love others as we love ourselves in Christ (Matthew 22:36-40). If we're doing that, or at least moving toward being more like that, then we'll be striving to be kind, merciful and compassionate toward everyone, and we'll be striving to not do any deliberately bad things to our spirits or bodies, or to the spirits and bodies of those around us. In other words, their true belief in Christ will be evident in their good works.

This is WHY James the brother of Yahshua truthfully said that "Salvation Without (Good) Works Is Dead" (James 2:14-17). In other words, you may say that you're saved, and that you believe in Yahshua, but then you don't show it. Instead of living in a sober-minded and kindhearted fashion, you choose to continue living the way that you always have, and you do not change your carnal ways at all. This is a clear sign to anyone who is observant that you still love this fallen world that Satan rules with its overbearing passions and lusts for power, prestige and pleasure (1 Corinthians 3:1-5).

It is also a sign that you do not value your Heavenly Father's graciousness in forgiving your sins, or the gift of salvation that His Son Yahshua suffered and died to give to you. Indeed, Yahshua was a PERFECT atonement sacrifice, and He paid your death penalty for sin so that Yahweh could give you everlasting forgiveness (Hebrews 9:11-15). So, if you are a Wise Virgin (more on this in a bit!), then you'll be so much in love with Yahshua for His loving sacrifice that you'll be striving to be more like Him. This means that you'll be striving after the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit, and striving to bless others with the gifts that Yahweh blesses you with (1 Corinthians 12:1-11). But if you're a Foolish Virgin, it means that your salvation is not living or active. Therefore, it's useless, and it's as good as dead!

If you say that you're saved, but you're focused on the pleasures and trails of this life, and you are not looking for the return of Yahshua or Jesus as He commanded, then you are going to be spiritually asleep. So, even if you did receive the Holy Spirit initially when you believed in Yahshua, then you are not listening to the Spirit's voice, and you are not growing in your faith (John 14:22-27). As a result, you are not going to be ready when Yahshua comes for His Bride in the Rapture.

Also remember the Foolish Virgins in the Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins, whose spiritual lamps did not have enough OIL, or fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 25:1-13; 1 Corinthians 12:1-11). What many people overlook is that these Virgin attendants of the Bride of Christ are Virgins because they are saved, and so Yahweh sees them as spotless lambs. Otherwise they would not be called Virgins, but Harlots! But the Foolish Virgins are taking their salvation for granted by not watching for Christ's return, and striving to live a life that is pleasing to Him. That is why they get shut out of the Wedding Banquet, which is going to be held in Heaven:

Also remember that - because the Foolish Virgins needed more OIL (OR GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT) - they were not present when the Heavenly Bridegroom Yahshua came for His Bride or Church full of born again saints! As a result they lost their rewards, one of which is to be taken up in the Rapture,  and so they were left behind. The Wise Virgins and the Bride are to be taken to Heaven in the Rapture as a beautiful reward for living a life of servant-hood for Yahweh.

But the Foolish Virgins will be left behind due to their waywardness. As a result, they will be refined in the fire of the Great Tribulation, and they will have to suffer many hardships, and possible martyrdom. Sadly, the Foolish Virgins are too spiritually asleep to know or care when the Bridegroom will return. So they aren't going to be ready, and Yahshua said that He will return at an unexpected time. So only those who are watching will be caught up to Heaven in His rescue operation!

Again, believers need to remember that the Rapture is NOT a gift of salvation. It is a gift given to believers that show deep love for the Father, Son and Spirit, and also who show much love for fellow believers - even those who are wayward - by showing them how to please Yahweh with their obedience to His Moral Law, a knowledge of which will encourage them to regularly perform unselfish acts of mercy and lovingkindness.

John 14:15-21 ~ “If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. 19 A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. 20 At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

John 14:22-27 ~ “Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?” 23 Jesus (Yahshua) answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me. 25 These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Acts 2:38 ~ “Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ (Yahshua the Messiah) for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

Acts 8:12-17 ~ “But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ (Yahshua the Messiah), both men and women were baptized. 13 Then Simon himself also believed; and when he was baptized he continued with Philip, and was amazed, seeing the miracles and signs which were done. 14 Now when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them, 15 who, when they had come down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit. 16 For as yet He had fallen upon none of them. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus (Adonai Yahshua). 17 Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.”

Romans 3:19-26 ~ “Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. 21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ (Yahshua the Messiah {or Anointed One}), to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus (Messiah Yahshua), 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus (Yahshua).”

1 Corinthians 3:1-5 ~ “And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. 2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; 3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? 4 For when one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not carnal? 5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one?”

1 Corinthians 12:1-11 ~ “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant: 2 You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, however you were led. 3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit. 4 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.”

1 Corinthians 15:1-8 ~ “Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. 3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. 6 After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. 7 After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. 8 Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time.”

Ephesians 2:1-10 ~ “And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Messiah Yahshua), 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus (Messiah Yahshua) for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

Hebrews 9:11-15 ~ “But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. 12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, 14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? 15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.”

James 2:14-17 ~ “What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”

TWO KINDS OF SALVATION: ARE YOU BLESSED BY SONSHIP OR CURSED IN SLAVERY?

This article, which is Part 2 of my Article entitled: "WHO THE FOOLISH VIRGINS ARE, AND WHY YOU DON'T WANT TO BE ONE!", will explore the fact that the Bible reveals that there are two kinds of salvation. In the first and superior type, there is true repentance, forgiveness, intimacy and a relationship with Christ via the Holy Spirit. This is a salvation that leads to spiritual re-birth, sonship, intimacy, the Rapture, Marriage to the King, and Royal Crowns and leadership in the Millennial Kingdom of Christ. Believers that fall into this blessed category of salvation are those who were chosen to be sons and daughters of God before the foundations of the world were created (See Ephesians 1:3-6).

In the other kind of salvation that comes to those who are not committed to Christ, but are still married to the world and to the lusts of the flesh until death, the only kind  of salvation open to them is a type of slavery. These saved people remain slaves to sin due to their lack of repentance. For this reason, they are cursed by the judgments associated with sin during their lifetimes. Because of their sinful rebellion and refusal to repent, those among these apostate believers who die before the Rapture will remain dead until the Last Judgment, when they will be resurrected to life and judged, along with the unrepentant wicked.

The Apostle Paul explained the punishment for saved apostates this way:

~*~ 1 Corinthians 3:9-15 (NKJV) ~*~ 

“For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. 10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. 11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.”

So, unless they change during the Great Tribulation after being left behind, the Foolish Virgins and Laodicean “Health and Wealth Church” believers who die during this terrible period of divine judgment and wrath will likely fall into the second type of salvation, and they will thereby miss out on experiencing the glories of the Wedding of the Lamb and the Millennial Kingdom of Christ. The illustration I chose for this article reflects the types of human works that will be judged by God. It is sad that the lovely Church in the foreground of this old black and white photograph showing the US Capitol Building under construction during the Civil War was torn down in 1936. Men judged it unworthy to stand. Yet God will one day judge all the governments of the world and their edifices as unworthy, and they too will be destroyed, just as the church in the photo was. As Yahshua said:

~*~  Matthew 7:21-23 (NKJV) ~*~ 

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”

I believe that Matthew 7:21-23 is also tied to the Judgment of the Sheep and the Goats described in Matthew Chapter 25:31-46, which Yahshua shared directly after relaying the Parable of the Ten Virgins. We will discuss this connection, and what it means in a moment. But first, I would like to cite the possibility that people can lose their salvation altogether if they slide onto deep enough rebellion and apostasy. As it says in Hebrews:

~*~ Hebrews 6:5-8 (NKJV) ~*~  

“For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 if they FALL AWAY, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame. 7 For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God; 8 but if it bears thorns and briers, it is rejected and near to being cursed, whose end is to be burned (i.e. in symbolic reference to the lake of fire).”

Now, remember that, in 1 Corinthians 3:15 (quoted earlier), the Apostle Paul said that those whose works that are not approved of by God will be burned in the fire. These "works" include all sorts of art, dance, theater, plays, movies, writing, toys, games, buildings, books, weapons, war and manufacturing machines, electronic technology, tools, mechanical equipment, medicines and other man-made creations that serve some nefarious or dangerous purpose - whether in polluting the mind and spirit, or harming the body.

What this means is that only those things which cannot deceive, hurt, poison or mislead believers - but instead will bless them and God - will be allowed in the Millennial Kingdom. So the saved but chastised persons who created these bad works and did not repent will see their harmful works burned, but will be allowed to enter Yahshua's Kingdom minus their unapproved creations. Sadly, however, those who are not saved will not be allowed into the Millennial Kingdom at all. Yahshua Himself was the source of this teaching, which can be found in His sermon about the Judgment of the Sheep and the Goats in the Gospel of Matthew:

Pre-Millennial Kingdom 
Judgment of the Sheep and the Goats

        “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
        Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
        Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’ 44 Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

The Judgment of the Sheep and the Goats quoted above from the Gospel of Matthew Chapter 25 will divide the entire population of the world that is still alive at the end of the Great Tribulation into two groups - one that is slated for everlasting life, and one that is doomed to be cast into Hell. This Throne Judgment is often misinterpreted to apply to the Great White Throne Judgment described in Revelation Chapter 20, verses 11 through 15. But this is not the same judgment at all. In fact, the earlier judgment of the saved Sheep and the damned Goats discussed in Matthew's Gospel will be held for God to judge and choose among the living ONLY, not from among those who are to be resurrected and judged at the end of Millennial Kingdom.

Those who are reckoned as the Sheep that follow the Good Shepherd Yahshua at this Pre-Kingdom Judgment will include many of the apostate believers that were left behind, but only those who survive the Great Tribulation, and did not die a martyr's death for refusing to renounce their faith in Yahshua and take the Mark of the Beast. These saved Sheep will enter into Yahshua's Millennial Kingdom that comes immediately after the Great Tribulation ends, along with the resurrected martyrs that died during the Great Tribulation (See Revelation 20:4).

This places the Throne Judgment of Matthew Chapter 25 on the Earth - most likely in Jerusalem - and exactly one thousand years before the Great White Throne Judgment of Revelation Chapter 20. In contrast, the Last Judgment of Revelation 20 will not occur on the Earth, but in some indeterminate location after the old Earth and the decaying heavens surrounding it have passed away (See Revelation 20:11).

After the Millennial Kingdom ends, and the Final Judgment of Revelation 20 takes place, all who are saved will have been chosen and united. Forever together, they will all enter into the New Creation, and will dwell on the New Earth that will be created as the final, holy and perfect dwelling place of God's True Children for all that remains of eternity.

SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS, THE DESTROYER OF THE CHURCH!

On August 28th, 2013, I spent the day writing this essay (and on January 19th, 2014, I further added to it) because the Spirit of God was weighing it heavily upon me then and now, and willing me to write it. This is due to the heavy Spiritual Blindness that I have witnessed in many professing believers online, coupled with a strong revelation that I received from God that salvation does NOT just come from a claim to “believe” in Yahshua or Jesus as a wise man and historical figure, but from a belief in or knowledge of Who Yahshua really was AND IS, and what He came to accomplish with His Blood and by His Spirit in order to save us from sin and death.

The problem of Spiritual Blindness in the Church comes from the improper interpretation of several widely preached Scriptural statements about the nature of our salvation in Christ. These are found in Romans 10:9-13, which quotes Joel 2:32, as well as Yahshua’s claim in John 3:16, which is better understood if seen in context with the verses directly before and after it. These important Scriptures are quoted below. Please pray and ask God’s Spirit to reveal what they mean to God before reading them:

Romans 10:9-13 ~ “...if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”” 

John 3:14-18 ~ “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

These Scriptures plainly say or imply that anyone who believes in Yahshua or Jesus and calls on His Name will be saved. However, the Scriptures don’t tell us exactly what they mean by “belief” or “saved”, and we need to figure this out before we can properly interpret what is being said. In order to do this, we need to study the Scriptures to determine exactly what disciples of Christ are supposed to believe, and what it means to be saved. Furthermore, we need to figure out if being saved is the same thing as being in the Kingdom, and if there is a difference between being “saved” as opposed to being “born again”.

For a long time, I assumed that anyone familiar with the true Gospel of Salvation knows that - in order to enter the Kingdom of God - we are called to flee from sin, and to live a godly life in Yahshua BY HIS SPIRIT, and that we were bought at a price on Calvary. We are no longer our own, but are purchased bond-servants of the living God and His Son by His shed Blood. This means that we are no longer our own, but need to die to the world, and live for Yahshua by following the call of His Holy Spirit within us:

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 - “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 

1 Corinthians 7:22-23 - “For he who is called in the Lord while a slave is the Lord’s freedman. Likewise he who is called while free is Christ’s slave. 23 You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men.”

The trouble is that many believers do not understand the freeing action of the Holy Spirit in our salvation, which frees us from our bondage to sin. This is why many calls to live a godly life today are totally legalistic. Since they focus on the letter of the Law and not the Spirit of the Law, they leave out any mention of the Holy Spirit. But without the Spirit of God working in us, we are all doomed to fail, and to die in our sins. We need the indwelling presence of God’s Holy Spirit to be transformed from a carnal sinner into a redeemed follower of Yahshua:

John 3:4-7 ~ “Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” 5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’” 

John 14:25-26 - “He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me. These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”

 John 15:26 - “But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.”

Yahshua told His disciples about the Holy Spirit, and about being born again spiritually because He wanted them to anticipate the Spirit’s coming and its action within us. He knew that when we try to resist sin by our own power, we will fail. This is why we need the Spirit of God dwelling within and communicating His Will to us in an active relationship full of prayer and words of knowledge! Only then can we ever hope to consistently be able to flee from sin and resist temptation. As the Apostle Paul said:

Romans 8:5-11 - “For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. 10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”

In the above Scripture, the Apostle Paul said: “Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he (or she) is not His” (Romans 8:9). This means that those who are not born-again - meaning they do not have the baptism of the Holy Spirit - are NOT Yahshua’s, meaning that they are NOT SAVED! So how do you know that you or that someone else has the baptism of the Holy Spirit or not? You can tell by their fruit! When we receive the Spirit of God within us, we are born again of the Spirit, and we begin to leave our sinfulness behind as we manifest spiritual gifts in accordance with our degree of devotion to God in Christ. Regarding this, the Apostle Paul also said:

Galatians 5:19-25 - “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”

DO YOU MANIFEST THE FRUITS AND 

GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT?

To receive spiritual gifts, we must be born again by the Spirit of God, which helps us to manifest spiritual gifts and to live righteously. But in order to receive the Spirit of God, we must truly believe in our need for Yahshua, which means we first have to realize that we are filthy in our sins, and we have a desperate need for a Messiah or Savior. This is where the Ten Commandments come in! These Laws of God convict us of our sins, although it is powerless to save us from them! Then, once we are convicted of our sinfulness, we will realize our need for a Savior. The Apostle Paul also taught about this, saying:

Romans 3:19-22 - “Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. 21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe.” 

Romans 8:2-4 - “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.”

This is where Yahshua and His redeeming Blood, Grace and Spirit come in! Chapter 3 of the Gospel of John clearly tells us that we must believe in Yahshua (meaning WE MUST REALIZE OUR DESPERATE NEED FOR YAHSHUA AS THE PERFECT, SINLESS SAVIOR!) in order to be born again by receiving Yahshua’s Spirit: 

John 3:5-8 - “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

John 3:16-21 - “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” 

Unfortunately, though the above Scriptures tell us exactly how we can become born again, very few read past the statement that Yahshua made in John 3:16, or attempt to understand the rest of the passage that clarifies its meaning, especially verse 18, which says: “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” Millions of professing Christians therefore believe that all they need to do to be saved is to believe in the historical Jesus without really understanding that Yahshua is the ONLY begotten Son of God, and that His Name, which means “Yah Saves!”, describes His Divine Character and our need for Him as our Messiah.

They do not fully understand that Yahshua was God born in the flesh, Who died for our sins and rose from the dead, and only Yahshua was, and is and always will be the Son of God that can SAVE US FROM OUR SINS! They also do not believe what it says in verses 19 through 21, which explains that all of us are in complete spiritual darkness unless we allow the light of Yahshua to shine in our hearts and root out the dark shadows of evil within us all. But without this understanding, we cannot be saved by His Spirit, or delivered from the clutches of the Evil One!

For this reason, many professing believers who say that they believe in Yahshua don’t show any of the seven spiritual fruits listed in Galatians 5:22-23 to any great degree. This is because they do not understand the Gospel of the Kingdom of God fully, and they are not truly born again so that they can enter God’s Kingdom within. They are therefore missing the internal relationship with God that we all need to be guided by in order to please God rather than man. Sadly, though many professing believers say that they want to hear from God and please Him, they also say that He doesn’t speak to them, and they only hear silence when they try to inquire of Him.

Sometimes, even when professing believers have been taught how to recognize God’s voice, they still cannot hear Him. For example, I carefully taught my daughter how to recognize God’s call in our lives when she was young, but even though she truly believes in Yahshua and the Gospel of the Kingdom, she still has not heard His call yet at the age of 19.

This is baffling to me - perhaps because I still catch myself assuming that everyone has an active conscience, which I would describe as an inner voice that warns us when we are tempted to sin, and tries to steer us away from doing so. I also assumed that most people understand that this inner dialogue is not purely within our own imaginations. But my own experiences with my family and friends has proven that this assumption is incorrect, and most people do NOT understand that the Holy Spirit tries to reach each of us from a very early age until we refuse to listen any longer out of fear, hatred, or disbelief.

Ominously, the only people I know of who have made the claim that they have never heard that inner voice within are either already totally depraved, or hardened criminals, and I believe that these poor souls are under a veil of demonic oppression so heavy that the Spirit of God can’t get through at all. Many criminals that never express real remorse or guilt for any crimes they have committed are definitely under demonic bondage, and unless they are eventually saved by accepting the Gospel of Salvation through Yahshua, and are supernaturally baptized with God’s Spirit, they will never experience true remorse or repentance.

You can choose not to believe me, but I have seen this type of heavy oppression in people I knew. In fact, it was so severe that they physically shut down whenever I tried to preach the Gospel to them, and they literally could not hear or see me! They entered a nearly catatonic state for a brief period that they DID NOT REMEMBER afterwards. These people were no longer present spiritually, and I could see this because their physical eyes were closed and they did not respond to my questions, even though their bodies were present!

In this way, God showed me that some people are most definitely under heavy demonic influence and control, and may even be demon-possessed and therefore UNABLE TO HEAR the Gospel of Redemption in Christ. This can happen to people either due to their own rejection of God, or due to generational curses that operate within their own family lines.

As another example, 30 years passed in my own life before I could actually read any portion of the Bible for longer than 10 minutes without falling totally asleep! This is another form of spiritual bondage, and the only cure for it is to ask God to remove and lift any hindrance within us to understanding and appreciating His Word. We need to apply the Blood of Yahshua over our physical senses, our minds, and our hearts and bodies if we truly want to follow Him, and the very first step to following Him is being able to understand His Word! We therefore frequently need to ask God to show us how to understand His Word, and to show us when we don’t!

Whether we recognize it or not, each one of us has a spirit of good and a spirit of evil operating inside of us from birth. This is what the KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL means, and it is our sorry legacy from the Devil to have both the voices of good and evil battling within us every day of our lives, with evil trying desperately to enslave and destroy us before we can choose to do good. Sadly, evil often wins out because only those of us who truly want God to boot out the spirit of evil within us will receive the Holy Spirit, which occupies the space left by the demonic voices within us when we ask God to kick them out. But since the reality of the unseen spiritual realm where demons and angels operate is not seriously taught in most Christian churches today, most professing believers don’t have a clue about the unseen spiritual principalities and powers that effect their decisions and choices every single day, or their need to get God to boot them out!

It’s a nightmarish situation - one that I am caught up in within my own family as I struggle with a husband, daughter, relatives and friends that say they believe in God, but act as though they are living for the Devil! Sadly, they are all deaf, dumb and blind to the raging unseen spiritual battle going on within and outside of themselves every single day. It’s absolutely terrifying to me to know that most of the people in this world that I have to deal with are operating without a clear understanding of the spirit world that is so much a part of their lives, or of the real power we have been given in Yahshua to fight against the evil powers always working to destroy us!!!

This is by far the greatest tragedy of Christianity and Messianic Judaism today, and by far the hardest thing to fight against. For example, I have been praying constantly over the years for the spiritual eyes of those I love to be opened so that that they will no longer suffer from spiritual blindness. But this has been largely ineffective, and their spiritual vision remains closed. For this reason, I believe that true salvation is based on desire. If someone doesn’t have any real desire within to pursue the things of God or to know Who God really is, they will eventually become totally caught up in the things of the world, totally deaf spiritually, and virtually unable to hear God’s voice clearly at all.

Without this understanding, I would be at a loss to know why God has been so active in my life ever since I was a youth, and why this hasn’t been the case in the lives of the people I am closest to. I believe that God reaches out to all of us, but we often don’t remember the times that God was doing so, even though some like me can recall these times as if they happened yesterday. This is why Scripture says that “many are called, but few are chosen” (Matthew 22:14). God reaches out to all of us in the same way, but many are under such heavy spiritual oppression that they forget, and do not recognize God’s promptings in their lives because they LACK THE DESIRE TO! In truth, Yahshua is what all the nations truly desire, because only through Him can they find everlasting peace, love, harmony and joy. As it says in Scripture: 

Haggai 2:7 - “‘I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts.” 

The Desire of All Nations is another Title for Yahshua, because He is the Desire of our Hearts! As an example of having that desire for Him, I can point to the fact that I have had a real hunger to know God, a real belief that He existed in some form or another, and a real belief in and fear of the unseen spirit world even when I was young, and even though this was not taught to me. I think that this is what being chosen is all about. We are all called to choose to believe in God, AND in His power over the spirit world that He exists in, but few are chosen because they do not choose to believe that the spirit world exists, or that it is governed by sentient, purposeful spiritual beings with a definite agenda. Also, whether we choose to believe it or not, a large segment of that spirit world desires to destroy us, and these spirits are well equipped to do so unless we understand where our only real help comes from, and that is Yahshua.

To receive help from God, we are all called to get to know God, so that - in exchange for His help - we will be able to follow Him and do His Will. But this is where many of us stumble. Instead of talking to God directly, we rely on human wisdom and human teachers to try to get to know Him. But no amount of listening to preachers, reading the Bible, praying by rote, or studying the theological works of others can give us a relationship with Yahweh God or His Son Yahshua. Only talking directly to our heavenly Father, His Son and His Spirit by NAME, and asking them to speak to our hearts and give us the ability to HEAR them, to take away our ignorance, to show us how to live and how to understand them, and to remove our sinful desires with their power can give us a real relationship with the Triune God we profess to worship!

Sadly, however, many believers have never been taught this, and so they do not know how to follow God effectively, or fight against the wiles of the Devil. They have no spiritual armor or authority, and so they are wide open to being deceived and hurt by the wiles of the Devil and his henchmen here on Earth. But if we are to be fully equipped to serve God, it is essential for us to know who and what we are fighting against, and what weapons are at our disposal to fight God’s battles here on Earth: 

Ephesians 6:10-18 - “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints...” 

THE REAL TRAGEDY OF THIS AGE OF REASON is that too many have reasoned the God of the Bible - and the spirit realm in which He operates - out of existence. Generations have been raised without any real knowledge of the unseen spiritual world, or its power over us unless we utilize the redeeming Blood of Yahshua, and the power of God’s Spirit to drive away all the carnal, fleshly, lustful urges and demonic influences in our lives. Most tragically of all, many professing believers now act as if it were some dark sorcery to call on the Name of Yahshua and His shed Blood on the Cross to fight against the dark spiritual forces that are trying to destroy us daily!

Based on what God has shown me as relayed in this article, I think that salvation is not just through believe in Yahshua as the ONLY Son of God made flesh (as He is portrayed throughout the New Testament), but through our belief in the Spirit Realm that He has complete power over. Therefore, in order to tell if someone is saved or not, we ought to not just ask them whether or not they believe in Yahshua, but if they believe in angels and demons, and in Yahshua’s power over them both. If they do not believe in the Spirit Realm, and in our complete powerlessness over it unless we have Yahshua and His Spirit to fight on our behalf, they are NOT SAVED!

If this sounds harsh or untrue, you need to ask yourself: “What does belief in Yahshua mean?” If our definition of belief is faulty, then we will not know how to believe in Yahshua correctly. Believing in Him is believing in WHY He was sent, and that was not only to free us from sin and death, but to free us from sin caused by demonic lies and satanic deceit, and from disease fueled by demonic power. This means that Yahshua was sent to protect us from demonic spiritual attack and oppression. When we truly believe in Yahshua, He gives us His loving care and protection via His indwelling Spirit, and the power of His shed Blood to purify and heal us from the satanic onslaught we all experience until we are saved and born again. Believing all this is therefore what it means to truly believe in Yahshua!

In fact, our salvation is based not only on our faith in Yahshua, but on what we believe about Him. We need to believe in Yahshua correctly before we can be saved. If we do not understand why He was sent, then we cannot understand what we are supposed to believe about Him in order to be saved. If we believe that He was resurrected, but we do not know what this means for us beyond salvation from physical death, we are NOT saved because we are believing in a different Messiah, and a different Gospel. As the Apostle Paul wisely said:

2 Corinthians 11:2-4 - “For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus (or Yahshua) whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted - you may well put up with it!”

Do not put up with a different Gospel or a different Yahshua other than the one presented here that centers on Yahshua as the perfect, sinless Son of God. He was crucified for your sins (1 Corinthians 2:2) so that you could be saved and born-again with Christ’s indwelling Spirit, which is the ONLY WAY to enter into the Kingdom of God! Do not believe otherwise, because if you do, you could pay a heavy price in this life, and the next! In fact, hardened sinners who do NOT seek the repentance and forgiveness that is required from the Gospel message will NOT enter the Kingdom of God as Paul taught in 1 Corinthians 6:8-10 and Galatians 5:19-21.

Paul is clear about this in the above passage, and Christ taught His disciples that - if they do not forgive others - then their heavenly Father will not forgive them (See Matthew 6:14-15). This is a Kingdom principle, and those who do not understand our need to forgive in order to be forgiven cannot and will not enter the Kingdom of God. Instead, they will be left behind in the Rapture to be refined in the fire of the Tribulation, where they will likely learn the Kingdom principles they need to know from the 144,000 Witnesses. They will be saved, but as through the fire (See 1 Corinthians 3:11-17).

God forbid that anyone lose their salvation, but it may never have been yours in the first place if you refuse to believe in the whole Gospel, which actually has three distinct divisions that open one’s spiritual awareness when understood! I explain the three Gospel Steps that need to be understood by every disciple before they can enter the Kingdom of God in the first article linked to below. The second article is also very important to read because it explains exactly what the Gospel of Repentance and Salvation is, as found in the Book of Galatians.
