The Great Sphin at Giza in Egypt looks toward the Sun on the Spring and Autmn Equinoxes |
DID YOU KNOW THAT THE SUN IS A SEASONAL MARKER AND SYMBOL TIED TO THE MESSIAH!?
Today, September 21st, 2025, is the Autumn equinox. This is the day when the day and night are the same length. 12 hours of day and 12 hours of night.
The Autumn equinox should always occur before the Feast of trumpets, as it does this year. The Feast of trumpets will begin on the night of September 22nd, and many people are excited that the Rapture may occur on this day or the day after. Although it could happen at any time, this has been a popular day to consider because of the blowing of Trumpets in Israel on this day.
From the Autumn equinox onward, the days will grow shorter until the Winter solstice, when the day is the shortest of the year and the night is the longest.
The Spring equinox, which occurs before Passover every year, and usually falls on Match 21st in this era, is also a day and night of equal length. 3 months later, the Summer solstice is the day when the daytime is the longest, and the night is the shortest of the year. This occurs around June 21st, and is sometimes close to Pentecost or Shavuot.

The Equinoxes hand been marked At Stonehenge for Millennia |
From time immemorial, stargazers have noted these for quarter days of the year because they divide the you into four seasons of 3 months each. As Seasonal markers, the Equinoxes and Solstices are important to Farmers, who need to know when to plant and when to harvest them crops Many ancient religions also saw these 4 Solar marker days as important to the worship of their deities.
These 4 days on the Solar calendar that divide up the year are also important in determining when the Fessts of Israel should fall on the Jewish Lunar calendar.
In the Gospel in the Stars, the Sun is tied to Yahshua, who is called the Sun of Righteousness in the Book of Malachi, Chapter 4, verse 2. It's interesting to note that the equinoxes are tied to the timing of Passover or Preach and the Feast of Trumpets or Tom Terruah. Meanwhile, the Solstice ate tied to Yahshua's conception, birth, and baptism by John the Baptist.
I'll discuss the Heavenly signs today and tomorrow in a new post soon.
