How Prophecies in Daniel and the Psalms May Pinpoint the Timing of the Rapture and Second Coming of Christ

By Helena Lehman

September 6th, 2007 - Following the publication of my article about the prophetic nature of Psalm 108 entitled: "The Amazing Hidden Prophecy In Psalm 108, and the War on Terror - Are They Connected?", some readers had questions about my statement that the Rapture may occur in the years 2010 through 2012. They had this question because a growing body of believers thinks the Rapture may occur around Rosh Hashanah 2007, which falls on September 13th this year. Though I have heard that some think this, I do not think so. This is because, as disclosed in "The Language of God in Prophecy," God has given me unusual wisdom concerning the prophecies in the Psalms, the Book of Daniel, the Book of Enoch, and the Great Pyramid - which is a prophecy in stone!

Yes, we are very close to the time of the Rapture! But it is still probably a few years away. My assumption is based on many factors. The first key to finding the year of the Rapture is in realizing that the Psalms are numerically and prophetically connected to yearly events in the 20th and 21st Century. The first 100 Psalms are tied to each year in the 20th Century, and the remaining 50 are tied to the first 50 years of the 21st Century. The second key is found in noting that devout Jews have read the Hallel Psalms 113 through 118 in their synagogues at every major Jewish holiday for three millennia. In this way, God has made sure that these six songs of praise would never be forgotten! Click here to view an illustration regarding the prophetic nature of the Hallel Psalms.

Now the question is, if all of the Psalms are prophetic, why would God single out these six psalms above all others? The answer has to be that the Hallel Psalms are connected to years of extreme importance to the Jews. Now, in the minds of religious Jews, nothing could be more important than rebuilding their Temple, and seeing their Messiah come. The Hallel Psalms could therefore be tied to the fulfillment of these events.

So why do I think the Rapture will occur sometime between the start of 2010 and the end of 2012? This is tied up in the end date for the Mayan calendar in 2012 AD, as well as the prophetic "inches converted to years" measurement of the central connecting passages between the chambers in the Great Pyramid, or Pillar of Enoch. Through study and prayer, it was revealed to me that the Grand Gallery symbolizes the Church Age, the Antechamber into the King’s Chamber signifies the Great Tribulation, and the King’s Chamber represents the Millennial Kingdom of Christ. Click here to see my illustration of the Pillar of Enoch’s interior chambers, which was taken from my book on prophecy.

Now, the final inch of the Great Step in the Grand Gallery leading to the Antechamber is tied to the year 2010 AD, indicating that the Great Tribulation may begin immediately after this date. Since Jews begin and end their years on Rosh Hashanah, or the Feast of Trumpets, it is possible that the Great Tribulation will begin after Rosh Hashanah in 2010. After all, the Great Pyramid indicates that the year 2010 is a significant year, and Psalm 110 speaks of Christ sitting on His heavenly throne, and watching the events about to unfold on the Earth that will lead to His Millennial Kingdom, I therefore think that the Rapture will likely occur in the year 2010.
Scripture indicates that the Rapture will occur before the 7 seals, 7 trumpets, and 7 bowls full of plagues associated with the Great Tribulation in the Book of Revelation. If so, the Hallel Psalms 113 through 117 are likely tied to the years 2013 through 2017, when many horrible plagues of God’s Wrath will be poured out on the Earth.

There is one other prophecy that ties in with this: Daniel’s 70 Weeks, which shows the time between King Xerxes, or Cyrus of Persia’s decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem, and the First Coming of Christ:

"Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince, there shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times. And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; and the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, and till the end of the war desolations are determined. Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; but in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate." - Daniel 9:25-27 (NKJ)

According to most prophecy teachers, including myself, the final week in this 70-week prophecy pertains to the seven years of the Great Tribulation. However, while I was deep in prayer, God showed me that this entire prophecy would be fulfilled several times - including the final week that most prophecy teachers claim has never been fulfilled, or has only been partially fulfilled.

The first time that Daniel's Seventy Weeks could have been applied is in 486 BC, when King Xerxes issued a decree allowing the Jews to return to Israel, and rebuild Jerusalem. Now, sixty-nine weeks of years is 483 years. 483 years after 486 BC, Daniel’s prophecy pinpointed the year of Christ’s birth in 3 BC, or - if the alternate date of 457 BC is used - the beginning of Christ’s ministry in 27 AD. However, in its future application, Daniel’s Seventy “Weeks” also may pinpoint the exact year of the Rapture, and Christ's Second Coming! This is because - in May of 1948 - God Himself issued a decree to restore and rebuild not just Jerusalem, but all of Israel.

Now, if we view those 70 weeks of years, or 490 years in Daniel’s prophecy as only 70 years, and we assume that 1948 is the beginning of the countdown to the seventieth year, then the year 2018 is singled out as the end year when Daniel’s Prophecy will be fulfilled. In the prophecy of the Seventy Weeks, the weeks of years are divided up into 7 weeks, 62 weeks, and one final week. But in the future, with the exception of the final week, the 62 and 7 weeks are to be viewed as years that are added in reverse to show the reversal of history that Christ is achieving through His victory over Satan. Click here to see the illustration of the Reversal of History from my book on prophecy.

If we look at the first 62 weeks of Daniel’s Seventy Weeks as 62 years, and add 62 to the year 1948, we arrive at the year 2010, the same year that is singled out by the Great Step in the Pillar of Enoch. After this, the seven years of Daniel’s prophecy follows, showing the period of the Great Tribulation from 2011 through 2017. This means that the final year of the 70 marks the year 2018, which could likely be the first year of the Millennial Reign of Christ on Earth!
