~*~ Zechariah 9:9 ~*~
“Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion!
Shout, Daughter Jerusalem !
See, your king comes to you,
righteous and victorious,
lowly and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey.”
~*~ Matthew 21:5 ~*~
“Tell the daughter of Zion ,
‘Behold, your King is coming to you,
Lowly, and sitting on a donkey,
A colt, the foal of a donkey.’”
This Scripture makes it clear that our Messiah Yahshua rode not one, but
two donkeys into Jerusalem ,
and deep thinkers may wonder why He chose to do so. For those who wish to dig
deeper into God’s Word, there is a very interesting reason why Yahshua rode two
donkeys that day, which is simple - yet profound.
Due to the hidden message of the two donkeys, I find it irksome that none
of the modern depictions of Yahshua riding into Jerusalem show this foal of a donkey that
Yahshua rode along with its mother. Thankfully, some older depictions - like
the one shown with this article - do show the foal trotting alongside its
mother. This is not the same thing as riding upon it, however, and that is what
Scripture suggests that Yahshua actually did. Whether or not the foal was
ridden, however, its presence during the Triumphal Entry still has an
allegorical spiritual significance. Let me explain:
First of all, the donkey and its foal represent beasts of burden. Since
both donkeys must have supported Yahshua’s weight, my guess is that the foal
was big enough to support part of Yahshua’s body without harm. It therefore
could not have been as tiny as the foal depicted in the painting, but was most
likely almost full grown. If not, perhaps the foal served as a footstool for
Yahshua’s feet, just as the Earth is Almighty God’s footstool.
Besides signifying the hard work that is involved in being a believer in
Yahshua, these two donkeys signify the Two Houses of Israel. This understanding
can also be seen represented in the heavens by the Mazzaroth sign of Cancer. As
one of the 12 main signs in the Gospel in the Stars, Cancer has two bright
stars on either side of the Beehive Star Cluster or “Praesepe”, meaning “manger”,
which are located in the center of Cancer.
In the following Star Gospel illustration taken from my book “The Language of God in Humanity”, the story of Samson
in the Bible comes to life in the heavens. Not only does it include the close
connection between the Zodiac signs of Cancer and Gemini as representations of
the Two Houses of Israel, but it shows how Samson, who was from the Tribe
of Dan - or “the serpent by the wayside” in Genesis 49:17 - acted as the defeater of the original
Serpent or Satan in his victories over the Philistines, who are signified by modern Palestinian Radicals and all Terrorist organizations within the Muslim world.

Interestingly, in connection with Samson’s riddle, Yahshua or Jesus acted
as a serpent (as seen in the constellation Hydra) when He died on the Cross for our sins. Although Yahshua
was sinless, “He was wounded for our transgressions, and He was bruised for our
iniquities” on the Cross (Isaiah 53:4-5). By doing so, the Lion of Judah (Leo) died
so that mankind could receive the sweet honey of forgiveness, freedom from sin,
and everlasting life that is the spiritual honey coming from the bees in the
Beehive Cluster. In fact, our Salvation from sin in Christ is represented by
both Cancer signifying the Two Houses of Israel as redeemed followers of
Yahshua, and Gemini, which signifies the Two Houses taking part in the Wedding
of the Lamb.
The two bright stars in Cancer on either side of “Praesepe” or the “manger”
signify the two donkeys that Yahshua rode into Jerusalem , while the star manger signifies
their spiritual food, which is Yahshua. This is why Yahshua rode the female
donkey - which signifies the House of Judah or the Jews - and the foal of the
donkey - which signifies the House of Ephraim or all Gentile believers - at the
same time. Once this is understood, a lovely parable emerges from Yahshua’s act
of riding these two donkeys into the city that is the spiritual epicenter of
the world called Jerusalem , or the “City of Peace ”. This parable and
its interpretation can be seen in the following explanation:
Just as the Kings of Israel would ride upon a donkey as they entered Jerusalem, Yahshua entered Jerusalem riding on two donkeys to declare that He was the true King of both Houses of Israel on a spiritual level. Likewise, just as Yahshua did not want to separate the foal from its mother, He did not want there to be a separation between Jewish and Gentile believers. But unless Jews are born-again and have Yahshua sitting in authority over them like Gentile believers naturally do (and the donkeys physically did), they are like ships without a rudder and should not be looked to for spiritual understanding. This is because the Jewish understanding of the Old Testament Scriptures will remain superficial unless they accept Yahshua’s deity and the power of the Holy Spirit and become true Messianic believers.
Once Jews become true Messianics, they become one in the Spirit with
Christians and will see Yahshua and the gifts of the Spirit of God in the same
way. So, even though we may choose to worship God differently, Yahshua will
always direct our paths to be in sync and as one when it comes to following
Him, just as He directed the paths of the donkeys He rode to be in sync with
one another and with Him so that He could avoid falling off one or both
donkeys, and no longer be in control of them.
What this means is that all believers need Yahshua to be their Master, and
He needs to be in full control of their lives if they want to be in sync with
Him! Likewise, if Yahshua is not sitting in authority over us and our lives, we
will never be able to consistently flee from sin in order to please God, nor
will we be able to worship Him in truth. So our goal should be to put and keep
ourselves in submission to God our Father and His Son Yahshua at all times, and
in all ways by utilizing the power of the Holy Spirit, which is ONLY given to
those who desire to surrender their lives to God.
