For those who say that our Father
God Yahweh doesn’t send terrible storms, floods, or tornadoes as a sign of His displeasure with us,
and that severe weather events are NOT a sign of God’s judgment, the following
Scriptures say otherwise! Some of them also refer to fires, earthquakes and droughts as signs of God's anger and judgment. Please read them, and you will see that God does indeed send fires, storms, whirlwinds, floods and hail, as well as droughts and earthquakes against mankind in judgment of their sin
and rebellion against Him.
~*~ Isaiah 29:6-7 ~*~
“You will be
punished by the Lord of hosts
With thunder and earthquake and
great noise,
With storm and tempest, and the
flame of devouring fire.
7 The multitude of all the nations
who fight against Ariel (Israel ),
Even all who fight against her and
her fortress,
And distress her, shall be as a
dream of a night vision.”
Before moving on to the other Scriptures listed, note here that Ariel means “Lion of God”, and
Yahshua is the Lion of God, as well as the “Lion of Judah”. Thus, Isaiah is
saying that the nations that fight against Yahshua and His saints and elect
ones shall cease to exist - like a bad dream!
~*~ Isaiah 30:30 ~*~
“The Lord will cause His glorious
voice to be heard,
And show the descent of His arm,
With the indignation of His anger
And the flame of a devouring fire,
With scattering, tempest, and
hailstones.”
~*~ Jeremiah 23:18-20 ~*~
“For who has stood in the counsel of
the Lord,
And has perceived and heard His
word?
Who has marked His word and heard
it?
19 Behold, a whirlwind of the Lord
has gone forth in fury—
A violent whirlwind!
It will fall violently on the head
of the wicked.
20 The anger of the Lord will not
turn back
Until He has executed and performed
the thoughts of His heart.
In the latter days you will
understand it perfectly.”
Ezekiel 13:10 ~ “Because, indeed, because they have seduced My people, saying, ‘Peace!’ when there is no peace—and one builds a wall, and they plaster it with untempered mortar— 11 say to those who plaster it with untempered mortar, that it will fall. There will be flooding rain, and you, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall tear it down. 12 Surely, when the wall has fallen, will it not be said to you, ‘Where is the mortar with which you plastered it?’ 13 Therefore thus says Yahweh Elohim: ‘I will cause a stormy wind to break forth in My fury; and there shall be a flooding rain in My anger, and great hailstones in fury to consume it.’”
~*~ Nahum 1:2-4 ~*~
“God is jealous, and the Lord
avenges;
The Lord avenges and is furious.
The Lord will take vengeance on His
adversaries,
And He reserves wrath for His
enemies;
3 The Lord is slow to anger and
great in power,
And will not at all acquit the
wicked.
The Lord has His way
In the whirlwind and in the storm,
And the clouds are the dust of His
feet.
4 He rebukes the sea and makes it
dry,
And dries up all the rivers.
Bashan and Carmel wither,
And the flower of Lebanon wilts.”
In reference to the future, there will also be celestial bombardments (i.e. brimstone), fires, earthquakes, rain, hail and floods when the Prince called Gog of Magog and his troops are judged. This will be during the coming Battle of Gog and Magog - at the time of the Great Tribulation:
Ezekiel 38:18-23 ~ “And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord God, “that My fury will show in My face. 19 For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken: ‘Surely in that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel, 20 so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the earth shall shake at My presence. The mountains shall be thrown down, the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.’ Every man’s sword will be against his brother. 22 And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23 Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.”After reading these Scriptures, there should be no doubts in anyone’s mind that God does indeed send cataclysmic weather, droughts, earthquakes, and fires to chastise and punish those who rebel against Him, and ignore His commandments. That is why terrible storms, floods, tornadoes, tsunamis, earthquakes, fires and droughts were once called Acts of God rather than Natural Disasters as they are today.

There are so many signs that God is sending out. Truly there is. I am only 15 years old and I notice these things. I pray that my brother's and sister's would repent of their sin's and be born again. Every day I pray. We have no more time left the signs of our God and Saviour is every where and He is trying to grasp some of our attentions---no, rather ALL of our attention's. My brother's and sister's wake up and repent I say. Repent.
