As a Sacred Astronomer, I find the Lyrid Meteor Shower to be a fascinating one. It is often quite strong, lasting from around April 16th to April 26th each year, and producing many sizable, easily spotted meteoric streaks in the night sky.
The radiant of the Lyrids is located in the constellation of Lyra the Lyre or Harp, which signifies the righteous followers of Yahshua praising and worshiping the one true God Yahweh. Lyra is often depicted as an Eagle-shaped Lyre, signifying the powerful and triumphant nature of the resurrected saints who love Yahweh God and His Son with their whole hearts and souls.
Fascinatingly, Lyra is also connected to the United States and to the Body of Christ as a whole by its location next to Cygnus the Swan signifying the Great Northern Cross or Cross of Christ, and Christianity’s chief stronghold in the United States. Lyra is also above Aquila the Eagle, and the Eagle also signifies the United States in prophecy, as shown in this slightly modified graphic taken from my book “The Language of God in Prophecy”:
Unfortunately, Sagitta the Arrow also appears near Lyra in the heavens and depicts a satanic blow that will cripple the USA during the Tribulation period, though a select group of righteous people in the USA will still be able to fight against Satan and the Antichrist. This is shown in the graphic by the fact that the Eagle depicted on the Great Seal of the United States is securely clutching a bundle of arrows in its right talon.
The Lyrids peak around April 22nd, so they are also called the April Lyrids or Alpha Lyrids, and Yahshua is the Alpha and Omega. The source of this meteor shower is the periodic Comet C/1861 G1 Thatcher, and there is documentation that this shower has been observed for the past 2600 years.
Here is a video at You Tube discussing the Lyrid Meteor Shower this year:
Also this April, the planet Saturn symbolizing the Crown of Yahshua as the King of kings will be particularly close to Earth and in an ideal position for viewing during the Lyrid Meteor Shower. Fascinatingly, as the seventh planet numbered by the anceints, Saturn signifies the Sabbath Rest, and by extension, Yahweh God’s Great Sabbath Rest that His Son Yahshua will fulfill during His Millennial Rule.
Currently, Saturn is in the constellation Virgo signifying the virgin mother of Yahshua and - by extension - the virgin Bride of Christ. Unfortunately, Satan interrupted Yahweh God’s Sabbath Rest by rejecting God’s reign and stealing Yahshua’s authority in our hearts through rebellion and sin. But that doesn’t make the planet Saturn Satan’s symbolic crown. It still belongs to Christ, and always will.
Hallelu-Yah to Yahshua our Messiah and Righteous KING! I pray that He will come to Earth soon with His Bride alongside Him so she can watch and help Him conquer, rule and reign a thousand years! In the meantime, remember that - just as Saturn has many rings, Yahshua wears many crowns. As it says in the Book of Revelation:
~*~ Revelation 19:11-13 (NKJV) ~*~
“Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.”
Note that, in this passage of Scripture, Yahshua’s eyes are likened to a flame of fire, and, under certain conditions, Saturn looks like a brilliantly shining, wide-open eye, as shown in this amazing photograph of the ringed planet:
Yes, Yahshua, our risen King of kings, is coming soon, riding on a white war horse and wearing many crowns that are far more glorious than the rings of Saturn!
