Yahshua's Second Coming riding on a Horse to fight the Battle of Armageddon, as described in Revelation 19 |
However, there is ONE DEFINING SCRIPTURE that makes it clear that our one and only Messiah, King and Creator Yahshua Ha Mashiach or Jesus the Christ is going to bodily return descending ⛅️on the clouds⛅️ in our Earth's atmosphere just as He ascended up to Heaven on the 40th day after Resurrection Sunday. This passage is not a dream recollection or a single person's vision, so it cannot in any way be construed as an allegorical passage! It therefore MUST be taken literally first, and no other interpretations should be inferred unless the passage suggests doing so, which it does not. This passage is in Acts Chapter 1, verses 9 through 11:
Acts 1:9-11 - “Now when He (ie Yahshua or Jesus) had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.” (emphasis added)

Mark 13:21-23 - “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘Look, He is there!’ do not believe it. 22 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 23 But take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand.” (emphasis added)In this passage taken from the Gospel of Mark, Chapter 13, please note that Yahshua said that He told His disciples “all things”, or everything they needed to know beforehand, so everything that needed to be revealed was disclosed! This means that nothing was hidden from them, or left to interpretation. Yahshua also described His return in the same manner as Luke did when he wrote the Book of Acts. This can be seen a little further on in the Gospel of Mark when Yahshua said:
Mark 13:26-27 - “Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then He will send His angels, and gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven.”The two passages above that were quoted from the Gospel of Mark are also found almost verbatim in the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 24. So there is no need for us to fill in the blanks if we study scripture correctly. We simply need to look to Yahshua's words, and those in the biblically preserved letters of His apostles for direction and confirmation. Both Matthew and Mark concur that Yahshua will come from Heaven just as He ascended, standing on the clouds with great glory accompanied by His angels.
The Apostle Paul described this same catching away of the saints in the Rapture in the following quote from his first letter to the Thessalonian Church. Here, Paul says that Yahshua Himself will appear in the clouds, and we will be resurrected and caught up to meet Him in the air. So we are left with the distinct impression that Yahshua will not actually touch down on the Earth at this time, but will only appear in the clouds of the Earth's atmosphere while His angels snatch away His beloved saints to Heaven before God's Wrath is poured out:
1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 - “For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”In Matthew Chapter 24, Mark Chapter 13, and 1 Thessalonians Chapter 4, we are given the distinct impression that Yahshua and His angels will not be mounted on horses because they will not be coming to fight, but to gather up His elect saints, as this fanciful image shows:
Christ Crowned as King coming in Glory with His Holy Angels to Gather Up His Elect Saints at the End of the Age |
Genesis 18:2 - “So he (ie Abraham) lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing by him; and when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed himself to the ground.”
Mark 16:5 - “And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.”These accounts of angels, and the descriptions of Yahshua given in the New Testament at the times when He will appear with His angels in the clouds give us a reasonably good idea of what Christ's coming in the Rapture might look like from our perspective on the Earth. However, the timing of this event is continually being clouded because of a troublesome passage that disciples stumble over constantly. This is the use of the phrase “after the tribulation of those days” in relation to Yahshua's return. This phrase is used in Mark 13 and Matthew 24, and the confusion it causes is primarily due to the Bible teachers who ignore the fact that all true believers Christ will experience some tribulation in their lifetimes, whether from relatives, friends, or acquaintances that have different ideologies, or from strangers who see our differences of opinion as rejection and hate.
Indeed, though few seem to take notice, many Christians have been betrayed and martyred for their faith in Yahshua all over the world in very recent times. This has been especially true in Asia and the Middle East, but also in formerly Christian Western nations like the United States, where Christians have been beheaded by radical Muslims living here and abroad, and where mass shooters have charged into Churches during services and shot and killed dozens of innocent believers. Intense persecution of believers who wish to preach on the streets or meet in their places of worship is also occurring right now due to the fear of the spread of Covid19, and the lawlessness being displayed by so many unsaved people today that despise or reject the idea of good and evil, and who see no reason for moral restraint.
So far, this tribulation - though terrible in its own way - has not been like what will be experienced during the pouring out of the Wrath of God, and when the Beast or Antichrist rises up to take control of the world. Though some still deny it, it is very possible that the Antichrist will rise to full power through this continuing Covid19 crisis, which is being played out to be so much more serious than it originally was. In fact, it even appears that the powers that be have created this virus, and are releasing new or mutated versions of the same virus to intensify the affects of this planned pandemic in order to set up the New World Order of the Beast from the Sea.
The Antichrist's hatred and determination to murder all Christians, and the outpouring of the Wrath of God in response to the murder of His saints will be the primary cause of the intense distress that all life will experience during the Great Tribulation. God's Wrath will literally bring all the nations of this world that do not honor God and kill God's servants to their collective knees before the Battle of Armageddon.
Yahshua did not say that this tribulation of those days was great or intense because - during the Great Tribulation - the whole world will be laid waste by God's Wrath. This is graphically revealed in the Book of Revelation, Chapters 6, 8, and 16. This is why Yahshua said that, due to the intensely harsh conditions upon the Earth during the Great Tribulation, no flesh would survive if He does not come when He is ordained to return to fight. As shown below, both Matthew and Mark also concur on this point:
Matthew 24:21-22 - “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.”
Mark 13:19-20 - “For in those days there will be tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the creation which God created until this time, nor ever shall be. 20 And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake, whom He chose, He shortened the days.”So it is evident by Yahshua's words that such horrible Tribulation is coming that He will have to speed up His return in the Rapture, or else there will be few left to see Yahshua's return, or to be caught up to Heaven by His angels in the Rapture or catching away. This is why Yahshua was not pointing to the end of the Great Tribulation as the time of the Rapture. In fact, the majority of humanity will likely be dead by then, and no forests, fields or cities will be left intact except, perhaps, for Jerusalem - although there is no guarantee that it will be undamaged either.
Contrasting Yahshua's return described in Mark 13 and Matthew 24, there is the return of Yahshua at the Battle of Armageddon that is described in detail in Revelation Chapter 19, and there is no reason to see this chapter of the book as primarily allegorical in nature,or about the time of the Rapture. For one thing, the passage doesn't mention Yahshua descending bodily from Heaven standing on a cloud, or that He is coming to gather up His “elect”, meaning His disciples or saints, which is what is stated in Matthew 24 and Mark 13. Instead, we are told that He will return at that time riding on a white horse with an army of angels and saints riding on white horses behind Him, and that they are coming to fight and defeat the armies of the Antichrist gathered in the valleys surrounding Jerusalem:
Revelation 19:11-14 - “Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.”
Revelation 19:19-21 - “And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. 20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.”Note that the first defining passages in Revelation quoted above that effectively prove my argument are found in Revelation 19:11-14, and you can see the 9-11 in that number sequence again! This is a clear sign from God that this is another passage that will be denied in the Last Days by false christs, false prophets and false teachers. They often dismiss this passage as allegorical because it says that Yahshua's eyes are like fire and He uses the sword that comes out of His mouth to vanquish His enemies, which is the sword of the Spirit that Paul tells us we all need to wield in order to defeat the attacks of Satan against us (See Ephesians 6:16-18). In addition, the passage is telling us that Yahshua has a piercing, fiery gaze, and Yahshua will certainly be capable of transmitting fiery emotions when He comes against His enemies at the end of this age!
These liars who meet Yahshua's supernatural attributes with derision also have several methods used to deny Yahshua's bodily return from Heaven with His heavenly cavalry. One of the most popular is the claim that the Messiah has already come, and His Kingdom is and will always remain invisible in nature. Another lie that deceived people have spread is that Yahshua is never going to bodily return, or that He is going to be represented by a mortal person, or even that He will be a mortal or seemingly immortal alien from another world. However, this is not true because Yahshua said that He will personally come back for us:
John 14:1-3 - “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”In this statement, it should be clear that Yahshua is not just referring to personally bringing each of us to Heaven at our death, although this is true in one sense. Rather, He was stating that He is coming for His disciples or saints when the time of preparation is past, and He also makes it clear that this will be at ⌛️the end of the Age of Grace⌛️, where He also makes it clear that the righteous will first be gathered by the angels into supernatural vessels of protection for transportation to Heaven. As such, they will be separated from the wicked, who will be left behind and cast into the fire after the righteous are safely ensconced in Heaven:
Matthew 13:47-50 - “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind, 48 which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away. 49 So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, 50 and cast them into the furnace of fire.”As to the manner of His coming for us in the Rapture to snatch us out of the wicked world that we must endure until He comes, there is no mention in Acts Chapter 1 of Yahshua ascending into heaven riding on a white horse, or in a chariot, or via any other vehicle. So we can assume that He will not be riding on a horse upon His return for us in the Rapture.
Another Depiction of Christ Descending in the Clouds Without a Horse At The Time of the Rapture |
The Spiritual Wisdom Hidden in the
Parable of the Wheat and the Tares
The main point I'm attempting to drive home is that, when Yahshua comes for us in the Rapture, though He is coming from Heaven, it is likely that He will not be riding on a horse or in any type of vehicle that we will be aware of. This is partly why it is important for believers to understand that the only aliens that God ever created were the Angels and Archangels that inhabit the Universe surrounding the Earth. This means that UFOs or space ships must be the creations of men or fallen angels, and are not of God. Furthermore, the Bible tells us that the powerful spiritual beings called angels or messengers of God can appear as men or women, and they can also enter into different dimensions or spiritual realms that we cannot see. Furthermore, you must remember that some of these angels fell with Satan or Azazel and created the evil half human, half angel hybrids called the Nephilim, who became demons upon death.
The Bible and Book of 1 Enoch tell us that the demonic spirits of the Nephilim can and often do lure, beguile, deceive and possess deceived or unsaved people, often appealing to their egos or desire for sensual pleasure, money, or power, or all three if need be. Subsequently, these deceived or possessed individuals have been, and are even now being used to spread lies, create havoc and discord, or do the most heinous acts of evil ever perpetrated on this planet. So please do not be deceived, and pray against and SPEAK OUT against the lies of the Enemy that are taking hold in the world today, and that are deceiving so very many poor souls.
I wrote this article to encourage you all to trust the Word of God and the descriptions that it gives of Christ's two returns, one of which is with a company of angels as our Kinsmen Redeemer, when He will order His angels to gather up His saints and take them to Heaven in the Rapture. This is clearly going to be before God's Wrath is poured out in the Great Tribulation, and also before the Battle of Armageddon, when Yahshua will return as a mighty warrior to be our Avenger of Blood. This is how Yahshua is depicted in the following image - as that Mighty Avenger of Blood coming to kill the enemies of His persecuted and beheaded tribulation saints:
Yahshua as Depicted in Revelation 19:16 - “King of Kings and Lord of Lords.” |
At the time of the Battle of Armageddon, Yahshua will be accompanied by a vast army of mounted warriors dressed in white, and riding on white horses behind Him. In this context, there is not one mention that Yahshua will be gathering up the souls of His resurrected saints, or taking them to His Father's House in Heaven for the Wedding at this time, which should be considered a major oversight if this is the time when this will happen. So this leaves us with a strong impression that the gathering up of the resurrected saints as described in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and 1 Thessalonians 4 must happen at a separate time. Only time will tell, but in the meantime, let us reason together, and love one another as much as possible until the end.
