MORE PROOF THAT THE RAPTURE IS A PROMISE!

By Helena Lehman
http://pillar-of-enoch.com

After presenting my article entitled “THE RAPTURE IS NOT JUST A HOPE! IT IS A PROMISE”, I received a great deal of resistance to the encouragement it offers believers to hope in the Rapture as a promise that will be fulfilled. As anyone who teaches others about the Rapture will have realized, there are many people who think we will have to stay and fight the Antichrist and his evil armies during the Tribulation while we hide out in the wilderness. Then there are still others who think we will win the world for Christ through progressive political and moral actions and laws such as those who have been taught Dominion and Kingdom Now Theology.

This is a summary of my responses to these types of antagonists who claim to be within the Body of Christ. For those of you who have to deal with the same sort of skepticism and derision from believers who see the Rapture teaching as a lie, I offer these arguments to you in order to arm you with the verbal and Scriptural ammunition you will need to defend your stance.

First of all, many who see the Rapture as a false teaching lock onto the idea that Yahshua said His Second Coming would be a visible event. Meanwhile, many believers in the Rapture teach that it will be a secret event. However, though the Rapture and Yahshua’s Second Coming at the Battle of Armageddon are separate, I do not think the Rapture will come completely unannounced! Instead, the Rapture will only be a secret in the sense that the world will not be expecting it. When the Rapture occurs, the Bible makes it clear that there will be a sign in the heavens called the sign of the Son of Man announcing its nearness and a heavenly trumpet will sound when it occurs (Mat. 24:30; 1 Thess. 4:16).

Now, let me show that the Rapture is indeed a part of the First Resurrection into everlasting life. According to the Apostle Paul, each part of the First Resurrection comes in Yahshua’s own special order. First, there were the firstfruits of the First Resurrection, which consisted of Yahshua and those that were raised with Yahshua as mentioned in Matthew, Chapter 27. Then there will be a First Resurrection of the saints when Yahshua comes, and this coming is chronologically BEFORE He fights the wicked in the Battle of Armageddon! Finally, the last part of the First Resurrection will be when Yahshua returns to deliver the Kingdom to His Father at the end of the Tribulation:

1 Corinthians 15:22-25 - “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. BUT EACH ONE IN HIS OWN ORDER: (1) Christ (and) the firstfruits, (2) afterward those who are Christ's at His coming. (3) Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.”

This Scripture means what it says! There are three different resurrection events into everlasting life mentioned! Furthermore, it indicates that the First Resurrection will not be completed until after Yahshua hands the Kingdom over to our heavenly Father at the end of the Tribulation and the Father makes His Son its king (Mat. 22:42-45; 1 Cor. 15:25). This resurrection of the martyrs comes after the Tribulation, as mentioned in the Book of Revelation, Chapter 20:

Revelation 20:4-5 - “And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.”

As the preceding Scripture plainly states, this particular “Bema Seat” judgment at the third stage of the First Resurrection is for those saints who were martyred for their faith in Christ at the hands of the Antichrist and his evil followers during the Tribulation, not the many martyrs that died before them in different ages.

So, think about it! Why is it that only these martyrs will rise up out of their graves at this time? The only answer that makes sense is that THIS IS NOT THE ONLY RESURRECTION OF THE SAINTS THAT WILL OCCUR BEFORE THE TRIBULATION ENDS! This means that there has to be more than one stage to the First Resurrection into everlasting life that the saints will take part in, just as Paul taught! In fact, the Scriptures do clearly mention three stages to this First Resurrection. Let me show you where!

The first part of the First Resurrection happened when Yahshua died on the Cross and many Israelite saints who had died with a longing to see the Messiah (and some who no doubt knew Yahshua but had died before His death) rose from the dead and came out of tombs throughout Israel and appeared in Jerusalem:

Matthew 27:51-53 - “Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.”

What sort of resurrection do you think that these saints or “morally blameless ones” experienced? Since it occurred after Yahshua’s blood had been shed to pay for our sins on the Cross, it had to have been a resurrection to everlasting life! So those saints are either still alive on the Earth or have already been Raptured to Heaven with Yahshua. Either way, they are and will always be alive, forevermore!

The second part of the First Resurrection will happen at the “secret” Raptures that no one is expecting that will happen sometime BEFORE the Bowls of God’s Wrath are poured out in the Earth in the last half of the Tribulation. In fact, I believe that there will be two Rapture events during the Tribulation - one at the beginning and one in the middle. Furthermore, there are many clues in Scripture that both of these Raptures will be accompanied by signs in the heavens and cataclysmic events such as an earthquake and possibly a pole shift. This is plainly shown in Revelation Chapter 11 in regard to the Two Witnesses, who will be resurrected and snatched up to Heaven in a second clearly mentioned Rapture event in Scripture:

Revelation 11:7-8, 11-13 - “Now when they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.” “Now after the three-and-a-half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, ‘Come up here.’ And they ascended to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them. In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand men were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven.”

No one will miss when the Two Witnesses will be Raptured since the Scriptures plainly state that a great earthquake will accompany their ascension to Heaven and “their enemies” will see them going up! Therefore, there is no doubt that the consequences of each Rapture event has been and will be plainly seen again throughout the world. Furthermore, the heavenly sign of the Son of Man that will precede Yahshua’s coming down out of the Third Heaven both in the Rapture and at the end of the Tribulation will be seen globally as well. When the sign of the Son of Man is seen, it won’t be a secret any longer, and no one will be able to hide the sign because it will be visible in the heavens that circle the whole world in any given 24-hour period. But, sadly, the world already has an alternative “New Age” explanation for it!

New Agers have been looking forward to the Rapture for many years now. These unsaved mystics foresee it as a massive and cataclysmic cleansing of “Mother Earth” ridding herself of “defective” people so a New Age of peace can come. Of course their New Age of peace is none other than the Antichrist’s one world government and New Age religious system, when all will have to take the Mark of the Beast to be a part of Satan’s counterfeit of the Kingdom of God, where good will be evil and evil will be good.

Thankfully, however, God offers His most faithful servants a way of escape that DOES NOT include martyrdom or suicide, but only believing in Yahshua’s promises of deliverance! As quoted in my first article, Revelation Chapter 3, verses 10 and 11 state that Yahshua’s faithful followers can “escape all these things.” This can only mean escaping the devastation, destruction and death of the Wrath of God that will be poured out in the last half of the Tribulation. Furthermore, considering that the entire world as we know it will be completely destroyed during the Tribulation, how do you propose that Yahshua will protect and feed perhaps billions of believers if we remain on the Earth and there is no source of clean water or food left anywhere on the Earth?

Though God protected the Israelites from the pre-Exodus plagues poured out on Egypt, there is no hint of a respite offered to anyone during the Tribulation events recorded in the Book of Revelation except for those who escape into the wilderness. But even then, these righteous fugitives will be hunted down and killed by the Antichrist’s followers wherever they are found.

Only a few will escape, most likely due to their reliance on divine protection and their covering in the blood of the Lamb of God rather than via weapons of war! This will be just as Yahweh protected the Israelites from the plagues that came upon the Egyptians at the time of the Exodus, when the blood of a male lamb painted on their doorways saved them from death. But the wrath of God being poured out on the Earth during the Tribulation will be far more devastating, and those who become believers in the Tribulation will be living all over the world. So, unless there are numerous figurative lands of Goshen to hide in for protection, these people will be in grave danger of dying as the Wrath of God is poured out on the entire world.

Furthermore, in the Gospel of John, Chapter 14, verses 2 through 4, which was quoted in my article showing that the Rapture is certain, Yahshua tells His Apostles and disciples that He is preparing a place for them in His Father’s House. This is undeniably a reference to the Third Heaven where God dwells with His holy angels. Furthermore, Yahshua said that He will come for His disciples so that they can be where He is! This is NOT a reference to Yahshua’s Second Coming at the end of the Tribulation. It can’t be because there are resurrected saints that are to be identified with the Bride of Christ that will be riding on white horses and COMING DOWN OUT OF HEAVEN with Yahshua! Here are two Scriptures, which mention the Bride of Christ and the army on white horses accompanying Yahshua as both being dressed in fresh white linen, suggesting that they are one and same entity:

Revelation 19:7-8 - “Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready. And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.”

Revelation 19:11-14 - “Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.”

These Scriptures tell us that the army of saints that form the Bride of Christ will return with Yahshua at the beginning of the battle of Armageddon, long before the third stage of the First Resurrection mentioned in Revelation, Chapter 20! So where do these already resurrected saints riding on white horses come from if there is no Resurrection until the end of the Tribulation? The answer is there is a Resurrection before then, and it will be much bigger than the one mentioned in Matthew, Chapter 27!

I have noticed that, without exception, those who are so vehemently hateful of the Rapture teaching have a faulty understanding of Yahshua’s completely non-violent and non-political approach to dealing with evil and also a faulty understanding of what it means to be in the Kingdom of God, WHICH IS NOT OF THIS WORLD:

John 18:36 - “Jesus answered, ‘My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.’”

This Scripture leads us to ask: "When does Yahshua’s Kingdom come to Earth and when will Yahshua reside here on Earth with us again?" Well, that would be at Yahshua’s Second Coming at the Battle of Armageddon, wouldn’t it? That is, after all, when our Messiah will arrive to do battle against the wicked and will win His kingdom by force! Therefore, the time to fight God’s enemies with force of arms hasn’t come yet. But even then, the Book of Revelation is very clear that the sword wielded by Yahshua against His foes is the Breath of His Word! And this is also what Yahshua’s Raptured saints use to direct God’s holy angels! Note that IT IS THE ANGELS AND NOT THE SAINTS THAT PHYSICALLY GO TO WAR AGAINST AND OVERTHROW SATAN, the Accuser of the Brethren, who is then cast out of Heaven:

Revelation 12:10-11 - “Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, ‘Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they (i.e. the saints) overcame him (i.e. Satan, the Accuser) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.’”

So it is God’s holy angels who fight on our behalf, just as Yahshua will fight for all those who love Him at the Battle of Armageddon using the Sword of His Word coming out of His mouth:

Revelation 19:15 - “Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.”

Now, to those of you who disbelieve in the Rapture, let me ask you: “If I believe in a Rapture, what do I risk?” None of us can deny that the Tribulation will come. It will happen, one way or another. But the Scriptures listed in my articles indicate that I can escape the worst part of the Tribulation by believing that Yahshua will come to deliver me. So, since I love Yahshua more than anything in this world and want to be with Him, than why would I choose to do anything else? You can choose to not believe and stay behind if you like. But I choose to go to be with Yahshua and to dwell with many other saints in His mansions in Heaven while the Tribulation rages on Earth!

The Holy Spirit guides people into all truth, and every pro-Rapture argument that I have presented here came from the Holy Spirit working through me, not through someone else's interpretation of Scripture. I have proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that everything I believe concerning the Rapture and the First Resurrection checks out in Scripture and has as much or more validity than the unproven position that we will have to live through the Tribulation.

Those who disagree can say that I am taking Scriptures out of context, but that will not change the literal and allegorical meanings of the many Scriptures that I quoted and explained as teaching that there will be at least one, and maybe two Raptures! So, we who are waiting for the Rapture can believe what we do without any Scriptural doubt.

THE RAPTURE IS NOT JUST A HOPE! IT IS A PROMISE!

By Helena Lehman
http://pillar-of-enoch.com

THE RAPTURE IS NOT JUST A HOPE! IT IS A PROMISE, albeit a veiled one! As I have repeatedly shown in past articles, the Rapture is a Scriptural teaching, and I will not rehash those articles here. Instead, my goal in this article is to show why Yahshua gave the Rapture promise! In the process, I am going to show that Yahshua promised to come in the Rapture to keep people’s minds focused on their greatest hope in Christ, which is to be saved by Him and to dwell in love with Him forever!

But, as I have taught before: the Rapture is NOT for everyone who claims Christ as their Savior! It is only for those who are overcomers like those in the Church of Philadelphia or Brotherly Love. These faithful believers are not only currently doing all they can to love the poor and the lost into the Kingdom as Yahshua taught, but they are also always watching and anxiously waiting for Yahshua to arrive at any moment! To this special and small group of overcomers, Yahshua promised the following:

Revelation 3:10-11 - “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. And I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.”

This awesome promise that we will be kept from “the hour of trial” or the Tribulation is a crown or reward for our faithfulness! This means that it will ONLY be available to those who have become overcomers through their faith in Christ and their desire to be with Him. An overcomer is someone who believes in Yahshua and has faith in Him and His promises:

I John 5:4-5 - “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-- our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus (Yahshua) is the Son of God?”

For those of us who are truly born-again, we know that a desire to draw near to God in prayer and worship and to live righteously comes with our faith in and love for Christ. For those who are born-again and have become overcomers by remaining faithful to God, Yahshua also promised the following:

• Rev. 2:7 - “To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.”

• Rev. 2:11 - “He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.”

• Rev. 2:17 - “To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”

• Rev. 3:5 - “He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.”

• Rev. 3:21 “To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.”

• Rev. 21:7 - “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.”

Because of their devotion to Yahshua, those who are overcomers are not going to be caught sleeping! Instead, they will be happily going about their Heavenly Father’s business when Yahshua comes for them in the Rapture! For this reason, they are the ones who will be taken in the Rapture. Meanwhile, all the unrepentant sinners who claim Yahshua as their Messiah but DO NOT LOVE HIM will be left behind along with all those who mock those who are anxiously awaiting Yahshua’s coming in the Rapture. Yahshua’s words to the Church in Sardis say it all:

Rev. 3:1-3 - “And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.”’”

In order to be delivered from the hour of trial, we must be watching and anxiously awaiting Yahshua’s coming for us in the Rapture. The following Scriptures reinforce this teaching, showing that it is an integral part of the Gospel that Yahshua delivered to the saints:

Matthew 24:42-44 - “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

Mark 13:35-37 - “Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming-- in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning-- lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all: ‘Watch!’”

Luke 21:34-36 - “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

This last Scripture from the Gospel of Luke makes it clear that all believers need to be striving to be worthy to escape all the things that will come to pass in the Tribulation. Indeed, that is what Yahshua was discussing with his disciples just before He issued this warning to watch and live righteously!

If you are among those who are anxiously awaiting the Rapture, continually praying that you are ready and not found wanting, and doing your best to follow the Holy Spirit’s direction to live a righteous life and lead others to Christ, you do not need to fear that you will be left behind or will need to be beheaded before the Rapture happens! The promise of the Rapture is supposed to be a comfort, and it can’t comfort us if it will not protect us from having to live through the coming trials of the Tribulation! As Paul said when he was concluding his description of the Rapture:

1 Thess. 4:15-18 - “For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.”

This Scripture is telling those of you who love Yahshua to not give up hope! The Rapture can’t be a comfort if we will have to live through the hour of trial! How can the Rapture be a comfort if we will have to suffer beforehand through the most devastating time of trouble that the world has ever known? For this reason, we believers can be sure that Yahshua will come for us before the middle of the Tribulation.

Yahshua must come for us before then or it won’t be a comfort, for this will be when the Antichrist will enter the Temple of God and declare that he is god (Daniel 9:27, 2 Thess. 2:3-4; Rev. 13:6-7). After that, the Antichrist will demand worship and total allegiance, and will behead all who refuse to do so if they are caught (Rev. 20:4).

But remember the clear teaching of Scripture! Becoming a fugitive and possibly being beheaded in martyrdom will only be the fate of those who are not watching when Yahshua comes! To escape this terrible fate, remember to always watch for Yahshua’s return and to hold fast to the following promise that Yahshua made before He was resurrected. He made this promise to show us that He came to see to our own resurrection into everlasting life and to see to our deliverance from the world until He puts it into subjection to Himself:

John 14:2-4 - “In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

So, remember that Yahshua is preparing a place for us, not us for Him! Therefore, we are called not to conquer the world for Christ but to keep watch so that we can be delivered from the world until Christ comes to conquer it in Person for us!

I pray that all of you will be waiting and watching for Yahshua to come for you and that you will not be left behind! Amen!

Maranatha!

Many Blessings to All on the First
Night of the Feast of Sukkot or Tabernacles!

This is the third great harvest feast listed in the Book of the Covenant in which Yahweh asked the Israelites to gather together in Jerusalem to worship and praise Him. During this seven-day feast, believers are encouraged to sit outdoors in open-air booths or Sukkahs and to sleep beneath the stars. This is done in acknowledgement that, though this existence is temporary, we look forward to the time when we will live and never die and God will dwell with us forever.

Today, a friend at facebook shared a really powerful Scripture with me that I wanted to pass along to all of you. It is the third chapter from the book of Zechariah, and it captures the mood of Sukkot perfectly:

Zechariah 3:1-10 -

“Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the LORD (Malak Yahweh/ the Preincarnate Yahshua), and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him. And the LORD (Yahweh) said to Satan, ‘The LORD (Yahweh) rebuke you, Satan! The LORD (Yahweh) who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?’ Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel.

Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, ‘Take away the filthy garments from him.’ And to him He said, ‘See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.’ And I said, ‘Let them put a clean turban on his head.’ So they put a clean turban on his head, and they put the clothes on him. And the Angel of the LORD (Yahweh) stood by.

Then the Angel of the LORD (Malak Yahweh/ the Preincarnate Yahshua) admonished Joshua, saying, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts (Yahweh Tsavout): “If you will walk in My ways, and if you will keep My command, then you shall also judge My house, and likewise have charge of My courts; I will give you places to walk among these who stand here. Hear, O Joshua, the high priest, you and your companions who sit before you, for they are a wondrous sign; for behold, I am bringing forth My Servant the BRANCH (Obed Tzemach/Messiah Yahshua).

For behold, the stone (e-ben/son) that I have laid before Joshua: upon the stone (e-ben/son) are seven eyes (seven periods of time or 7000 years). Behold, I will engrave its inscription,” says the LORD of hosts (Yahweh Tsavout), “And I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day (i.e. on the Last Day or the Millennium!). In that day,” says the LORD of hosts (Yahweh Tsavout), “Everyone will invite his neighbor under his vine and under his fig tree.” (NKJ)

This Scripture is a prophecy that pertains to the Feast of Tabernacles directly in its relationship to Yahshua’s Millennial Kingdom on Earth, with the reference to neighbors inviting each other to rest under their vines and fig trees as a reference to the festive garden atmosphere of the sukkahs or booths of the Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot. This joyous week-long harvest festival is an allusion to the unprecedented time of peace, tranquility, joy and pleasure that the Kingdom of God on Earth will provide.

This will be after the Tribulation, when the Earth will be restored to its Pre-Flood splendor and all mankind will finally be living in peace and with the increased longevity and physical health that their righteous antediluvian ancestors enjoyed. What a happy time that will be! :-)

The Signs in the Heavens on this first night of Sukkot also carry a powerful testimony of the coming Rapture of the Saints and Wedding of the Lamb in Heaven, as shown in the following illustration:

2008 Blood Moon in Leo Worth Recollecting!

On February 20th, 2008, there was a Blood Red Moon in Leo that is connected to the Orion Code and the End Time Signs in the Heavens mentioned in Bible Prophecy.

When I analyzed this Eclipse, God revealed that it signified the coming judgment of the world for releasing the Nephilim spirit through genetic splicing. This article is worth recalling since it is even more relevant today than it was then. It was first published at the American Chronicles news site in early 2008. Here is the link to it there:

Lunar Eclipse Warns of Coming Judgment for Resurrecting the Nephilim Spirit:

http://www.americanchronicle.com/articles/view/53018

I also posted this article on this blog. You can find it at the following link:

Isn't it interesting to look at what we were discussing back then and see how
relevant it is even today? Read the article that I linked to above to see what I mean!

God Bless and Maranatha!

My Yom Kippur Prayer and Reflection
on the Season of Repentance:

*************************************

Heavenly Father,

I thank you for the love, mercy, and protection from evil that You give us thru Your wonderful Son Yahshua, whose blood sacrifice paid for all our sins. Please forgive us for any unconfessed sins and prepare us to serve in Your Kingdom.

In Yahshua's wonderful, holy Name, Amen!

The following video's song and autumn colors reflect the somber mood of Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement:

Yom Kippur by Steve McConnell

The colors of autumn were carefully chosen by God to represent the death punishment for sin. Ever notice how the dying leaves come in colors that represent the different races of mankind? This was done to show that all men are deserving of the death penalty.

The dying leaves that are so often heaped up and burned for their “entertainment” value also show that many will suffer everlasting spiritual death in the Lake of Fire for rejecting Yahshua unless they repent! Autumn colors may ahttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifppear lovely, but they signify the ugliness of sin and death!

The Message: Stop pretending sin is lovely and repent now before you perish like the falling leaves!

Love and blessings! Maranatha!

The Rapture, The Year 2010, and the Yom Kippur Year of 2011 - Are They Connected?

The amazing heavenly sign that appeared on the eve of Rosh Hashanah in 2010 that is shown in the illustration above and was discussed in the following article on my POEM blog:

"The Orion Code" In Action!:
http://pillarofenoch.blogspot.com/2010/09/this-illustration-shows-orion-code-in.html

This possible sign of the Son of Man in the heavens is leading up to the awesome signs on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot on September 22nd, 2010 that are shown in the illustration below:

On the night after the Autumn Equinox on September 22nd, 2010, the Full Moon marking the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles will be in conjunction with Uranus and Jupiter, which will also move into conjunction on that day! This is such an awesome sign that it really needs to be scrutinized further to see what it may mean allegorically. The illustration above shows the meaning of this triple conjunction within the Gospel in the Stars found in the 48 constellations of the ancient Zodiac or Mazzaroth. The illustration above was first introduced and explained in the following recent POEM blog article:

The Prophecy in Stone at Giza - A Time Clock Tied to
Yahshua’s First and Second Coming and the Rapture of the Church:
http://pillarofenoch.blogspot.com/2010/09/prophecy-in-stone-at-giza-time-clock.html

However, in that article, I did not explain just how profound a sign it is that Jupiter is in conjunction with Uranus and what these planets truly signify! Let me rectify this now. Since very early in their history, the Jews saw Jupiter as the wandering star that depicted their coming Messiah or Savior. This is highly fitting, as anyone who has studied our Solar System would know that the planet Jupiter is the largest of all the planets. In fact, you could take all of the others planets and easily fit them inside Jupiter’s mass, which if it were any greater could have made Jupiter a sun in itself, albeit a smaller one than our Solar System’s Sun.

This makes Jupiter the preeminent planet in our Solar System and therefore a perfect symbol of the Preeminent One Yahshua, the firstborn among many brothers. In addition, photos of Jupiter show that it is covered with a thick atmosphere that forms reddish bands around the entire planet. There is also a big red storm system in the Jupiter’s Southern Hemisphere that is roughly eye-shaped. After I became a believer, the Holy Spirit gave me words of knowledge as I contemplated these features of Jupiter. At that time, I was shown that the red bands of Jupiter signify the circlet of thorns and the stripes that Yahshua was inflicted with after His arrest that culminated with the crucifixion. In addition, Jupiter’s big red storm signifies the lance wound that pierced Yahshua’s heart on the Cross. Therefore, there is no doubt in my mind about whom or what the planet Jupiter is meant to signify!

Similarly, though the planet Uranus wasn’t even discovered until the 18th Century when they had powerful enough telescopes to actually see it in the heavens, it is named after a classical deity that is tied to the biblical character Noah. As most people familiar with the Bible know, Noah is the man who helped build the Ark that protected the only purely human beings to survive the Great Flood. In addition, something few people know is that Uranus was recently given the Hebrew name “Oron,” or little light, which is directly related to the Hebrew word “Orion” meaning brilliant. Incidentally, as explained in my Language of God Series books, the huge, hour-glass shaped constellation named Orion is the most Messianic sign in the Zodiac! Furthermore, Orion’s three belt stars depict the three crosses at Christ’s crucifixion on Calvary. This was recently covered more fully in the POEM blog article linked to above entitled “The Prophecy in Stone at Giza.” I also published another blog article that mentioned how the Great Pyramid is tied to the constellation Orion in the process of describing an awesome dream that I had about the Great Pyramid at Giza:

The Great Pyramid as an Amazing Time Clock Marking 5,000 Years of Human History: http://pillarofenoch.blogspot.com/2010/08/great-pyramid-as-amazing-time-clock.html

Here are some illustrations of Uranus and Jupiter that help to explain how significant they are. The first one is a depiction of how Jupiter and Uranus appeared above the Ephraimite Fish of Pisces on the night after the Solar Eclipse over Easter Island on July 11th, 2010. This Ephraimite Fish is riding on the back of the heavenly white horse named Pegasus. As such, it appears that Jupiter and Uranus are being take along for the ride since they are hovering directly over this fish on the ecliptic or Sun’s path!

The next two illustrations show the meaning of Jupiter and Uranus’ surface features and situation in the Solar System:

Click Illustration to See Larger View

Now, when I was working on my first book “The Language of God in the Universe” that explores the Gospel in the Stars, God showed me that Uranus actually was meant to depict the Bride of Christ. This is partly because Uranus’ five most prominent moons signify the Five Virgins that are taken with the Bride to Heaven in the Rapture as described in the Parable of the Ten Virgins. In addition, Uranus has 27 lesser moons that are tied to the 27 books of the New Testament and signify the fact that those who become the Bride of Christ need to have a knowledge of and love for Christ as explained in the New Testament or Brit Chadasha.

This leads me to link to a recent interview done by Barry Meyer of End Time Talk Radio in which I discussed the meaning of Jupiter and Uranus and other heavenly signs in relation to the End Times:

Helena Lehman’s September 14th, 2010 Interview on End Time Talk Radio: http://www.endtimetalkradio.com/Endtimepodcasts.html

As I showed in this interview, understanding the meaning of the planets explains why this Jupiter-Uranus Conjunction is so significant. Now, five days before this second conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus on the first day of the Feast of Sukkot in 2010, the solemn feast of Yom Kippur starts at dusk on September 17th, 2010. As the fascinating and detailed article that I posted by a lady named Arlene shows, the Rapture is also tied to Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement, which is the most solemn day on the Jewish calendar:

WHY THE RAPTURE WILL BE ON YOM KIPPUR - (Maybe!): http://pillarofenoch.blogspot.com/2010/09/why-rapture-will-be-on-yom-kippur-maybe.html

Recently, two goats were featured in the news that I showed have a connection to the two goats sacrificed: one in the courtyard of the Temple and one outside of the city on Yom Kippur. To find out more about this solemn feast from my own unique perspective, check out that recent article also here in my blog:

A Tale of Two Goats - A Warning to the Church in the
Symbolism of Yom Kippur and the Story of Jacob: http://pillarofenoch.blogspot.com/2010/09/listen-to-what-spirit-says-to-churches.html

Now, on the night of Yom Kippur in 2010, Jupiter and Uranus will almost be in conjunction again, but not quite. Furthermore, the Moon will not be anywhere in proximity, which is unfortunate. This is because, when Joseph had one of his first prophetic dreams, his mind’s eye depicted his father Jacob’s two wives Leah and Rachel as the Moon, which has both a light and a dark face depicting these two very different sisters who likely learned to hate one another in their rivalry for Jacob’s affection. As a Moon filled with light, the Full Moon is therefore a clear symbol of the beloved bride Rachel, who was a prefiguration of the Bride of Christ!

However, what we must not fail to recognize here is that the warning of Rosh Hashanah, the repentance of the nine days of awe, and the closing of the Book of Life on Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement are tied to the entire Tribulation period! Furthermore, these two feasts lead up to the joyousness of the Feast of Sukkot or Tabernacles, which completes the cycle of the Jewish Autumn Feasts. Sukkot signifies the joy and peace of the Millennial Reign of Yahshua on the Earth. At this time, most of the believers will be sinless, immortal, and truly “at one” or atoned by Christ and able to fully dwell with Him forever. Meanwhile, throughout the Millennium, those who are still mortal will be able to share in that joy if they love and believe in Yahshua as the Messiah.

Now, since there may be two or more Raptures, one at the start of the Tribulation and one in the middle of it, this catching away of believers is tied to the entire 22-day period of the Autumn Feasts. In addition, the Autumn Feasts Prophecy that I was given in 2004 during the days of awe leading up to Yom Kippur shows that the year that began on Rosh Hashanah in 1999 started a “year for a day” cycle that mimics this autumn cycle of feasts and shows that the Tribulation may occur from 2011 through 2017. This prophecy also makes the year 2011, which is associated with the Jewish year 5771, the Yom Kippur year, and the Jewish Year 5771 began on Rosh Hashanah 2010! Therefore, if the Rapture doesn’t happen before the end of 2010 on December 31st, it may be because it was meant to happen in 2011, the year associated with Yom Kippur.

However, due to the constellation Orion's preeminence in the Star Gospel, any heavenly signs that occur in this sign are extremely meaningful in relation to the timing of Tribulation. That is why the Lunar Eclipse or Blood Moon occurring over the sword of Orion that touches the Ecliptic on December 21st, 2012, or 2 years before the Mayan date for the end of this Age, is highly significant. In fact it may be a sign that Daniel's Seventieth Week known as the seven-year Tribulation will begin on that date. Here is an illustration of that sign taken from my book "The Language of God in Prophecy":

Click on Illustration to See Larger View

Because I associated the year 2010 with the first Rapture in my book on prophecy, I assumed that the year 2011 connected to Yom Kipper was an indication that, of those that are left behind, those who become the Tribulation Saints will need to make their decision for Christ before the Jewish close of that year on Rosh Hashanah 2011. Those who do decide to give their lives to Christ and are willing to live and die for Him until He comes will be allowed to reign and rule with Christ during the coming Millennial Kingdom. Even if the Rapture is delayed until sometime in 2011, this would still be the case. Those who would have their names written in God’s Book of Life to ensure their place in the Millennial Kingdom of God may have to be reckoned as worthy of this great honor and blessing before the close of 2011.

Because the Rapture is also tied to the Feast of Firstfruits or Pentecost, the Rapture could occur long before Rosh Hashanah in 2011. In fact it could occur anytime that summer, and may not be in association with an feast day or heavenly sign so that it will truly come in secret and will catch everyone off-guard, just as Yahshua warned that it would. I explain the possible timing of the 1st and 2nd Raptures of the Tribulation period in my recently updated, full-color illustrated article “Come Up Here and Come Away!”, which is linked to below and is highly recommended for further reading.

"Come Up Here and Come Away!” - Clues to the Timing of the Rapture: http://pillar-of-enoch.com/essays/index.html#Maranatha

If the first Rapture does occur around September 17th through September 22nd, 2010, I will be overjoyed along with a huge cloud of other witnesses of Christ’s Glory. But if it doesn’t, do not despair! Read my "Come Up Here" article linked to above and keep watch, for Yahshua is coming soon! Global environmental, political, military, economic and religious events - especially those surrounding the tiny but mighty nation of Israel, the weakened and wavering United States, and their current Peace Talks with the Palestinians - practically ensure that this is the case. WHY THE RAPTURE WILL BE ON YOM KIPPUR - (Maybe!)

This very thoughtful and interesting article was sent to me by a friend and I think it's worth a read! Though I would not venture to say the Rapture WILL be this Yom Kippur, the possibility IS definitely there! :-)

Also, just so you know, Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement begins on Friday, September 17th, 2010 at dusk and ends at dusk on the 18th.

If this lady is correct, and the Rapture is this Yom Kippur, which happens to fall on a Sabbath this year, it would be wise to make sure to have things right with God before you go to sleep by Friday night. You can do that by confessing any known sins that you have not repented of to Yahshua even while praying for the ability to resist these sins in the future. After this, ask Yahshua to cover you with His blood for forgiveness and as a sign of the renewed covenant between you and Him so that you will be counted worthy to be taken in the Rapture.

Here’s hoping we’re in Heaven before the weekend is over! Hallelu-Yah!

But if not now, remember those amazing signs in the heavens on September 22nd, 2010 that I talked about in my article:

“The Prophecy in Stone at Giza -
A Time Clock Tied to Yahshua’s First and Second Coming and the Rapture of the Church” http://pillarofenoch.blogspot.com/2010/09/prophecy-in-stone-at-giza-time-clock.html

WHY THE RAPTURE WILL BE ON YOM KIPPUR
by Arlene

http://www.his-forever.com/yom_kippur_rapture.htm

(This was written in 2005!)

---------------------------------------------

OK Doves, now it’s going to be Yom Kippur. LEST we faint or become limp wristed waiting upon the Lord, or fall into slumber while He delays, here are presented some thoughts about Yom Kippur, from one who is ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of the day of the rapture ! But I pray that the Spirit guide me in organizing my thoughts for your edification, and that any error is forgiven by His Holiness, and corrected by you Doves. One thing about John’s Doves site, is that we have learned so much from each other, each expressing that particular member of the body to which he is given talent by the Lord, and that we have learned so much about the feasts of the Lord, which, if He had come earlier we would not be able to take up with us, as a freewill offering of learning, for which I might add we just might earn a small crown… I have read with interest the post by OlaIlori, and thank you Ola for your very enlightening study. I agree that there is much to be seen in the feast of Tabernacles and our Lord’s arrival to take us home. But before I answer to these thoughts, I shall attempt to put together a few of my thoughts about Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement).

Now a broad outline as I understand it, Yom Kippur is the final day of the 40-day repentance period which began on Elul 1st, 30 days before Rosh Hashanah, and includes the ten days of awe, or another reprieve period in which to repent before Yom Kippur, when the Book of Life is closed by the righteous judge in heaven, and those who have not been found worthy to be in that book have no further appeal to the Lord thereafter. Let us recall that our Lord said that an evil generation which seeks a sign shall have only the “sign of Jonah”, and one of the aspects of Jonah’s call to repentance for Nineveh was a 40-day call to repentance. So, this should intrigue us at the very least, and beckon us to look further. For, should the Jewish nation seek a sign of their coming Messiah, they would certainly stumble upon this scripture after the rapture and do the math themselves. If, as many say, our Lord’s physical appearing upon earth, on the Mount of Olives, occurs on Yom Kippur, then it follows that seven years earlier (introducing the time of Jacob’s trouble), would occur then also on Yom Kippur.

Yom Kippur is a day of fasting, and atonement, so there is usually a rather large and hedonistic repast the day before this entire day of donning hair shirts and denial of the flesh. During the Yom Kippur service, the Ark of the Covenant is open, which contains the Torah; this signifies the gates of heaven which are purported to be open during this period. This should lead us into meditating upon those words of the Lord about Himself being “the door”, or the open gate, which also relates to Rosh Hashanah, in that the gates of heaven are open even for the last ten days of repentance before Yom Kippur. So, there is much fuss made about these open doors made during the time period between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Also we shall look later at that door which was open to the Philadelphian church in Revelation, and that door which John saw as open in heaven for his invitation to “come up hither”.

First, before I forget it... I believe this is the only feast day of the Lord, which calls for a day of fasting. Additional prohibitions for the day of Yom Kippur are engaging in marital relations, weddings, wearing leather shoes, or washing oneself, in addition to not drinking wine or eating food. Was our Lord referring to this day when He said that in the days of Noah, they were “eating and drinking” and “marrying and giving in marriage” until THE DAY that Noah entered into the ark. Likewise, prior to this year’s Yom Kippur, Jews will be “eating and drinking, and marrying and giving in marriage”, until THE DAY of Yom Kippur. Without getting flakey here... I read somewhere on the world-wide net, that the Ark of the Covenant, had the same ratio of measurements as the dimensions of the ark of Noah, and we know that God Himself closed the door to the ark once Noah was inside, so perhaps there is a picture here of that great ark of heaven being open for us, until the completion of Yom Kippur, “God Himself will close the door”. After the Yom Kippur service, the doors of the ark of the covenant are closed, signifying the closing of the door of heaven; they blow the shofar once, and this is called “The Great Trump”. then that’s all she wrote for those who did not repent.

The last hour of the Yom Kippur service offers one final opportunity for repentance. Does this remind you of our Lord’s words to the Laodicean church “behold I stand at the door and knock”?

WHY NOT ROSH HASHANAH?

I am sure we all wilted when Rosh Hashanah came and went with no resurrection, no call of the Bridegroom – nothing. What? It all seemed to fit so well. So, back to the drawing board we go. We are now in the Days of Awe portion of time between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. These are days of deep reflection, leading up to the most somber day of fasting and repentance, during which we reflect upon our sins. The Sabbath day that falls during these two feasts is called The Sabbath of Return or “Shabbat Shuvah”, which means the Sabbath of repentance, or returning to the Lord from our lives of sin.

I have felt for some time that there lurks in the first (church-related) portion of the book of Revelation, the answer to WHEN the rapture would be, for John himself was called to “come up hither”. John is a “type” of the bride of Christ (he laid his head upon the breast of our Lord at the last supper, typical of what a bride did at a betrothal dinner), and he was called “the beloved disciple”. Therefore, we look at John to find out what becomes of the beloved betrothed bride.

First, John hears a voice like a trumpet, (this is the “first trump) introducing the words of our Lord, and he turns to see the Lord “in the midst of the seven candlesticks” Revelation 1:12-13. He is instructed to write to the churches what He speaks. His feet were like unto “fine brass”, which bespeaks of judgment, and a sharp two-edged sword coming out of His mouth. This two-edged sword we have encountered before, in the words of Paul:

Hebrews 4:12 - For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

So, with this two-edged sword, He is about to both compliment, and rebuke, the seven churches, for He identifies the seven candlesticks as “the seven churches”. He dictates these words of discernment while John is still on earth, which claim I still stick to, else, how could John later be told to “come up hither”, if he was already “up thither”, and in fact the bride / church is on earth during this time of dressing-down by the Lord, and during this time of repentance. Now, I think that this scenario pictures exactly what happens prior to Yom Kippur. The reason that the Lord does not come on Rosh Hashanah, is that IT IS STILL IN THE 40-DAY REPENTANCE PERIOD, leading up to YOM KIPPUR, THE LAST DAY OF THE REPENTANCE PERIOD. For:

2 Peter 3:9 - The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance

But “that ALL SHOULD COME TO REPENTANCE” speaks of a period of time when our Lord is “longsuffering”,,, and in fact a person can “come to repentance” right up until the last hour before the Yom Kippur service is over, and this period of time for repentance, is the 40-day period prior to Yom Kippur, as also it was during the 40-day period of Jonah’s preaching when he said that God would repent of the evil that He had purposed to do if they did not repent.

But not to dwell here, let’s see what follows in the book of Revelation. Sure enough the letters to the churches have ‘REPENTANCE’ writ large all over them. Repent, or else. Repent or else. Repent or else. This is the language of Teshuvah (the 30 days of repentance prior to Rosh Hashanah, and the ten days of awe or repentance, after Rosh Hashanah.)

Rosh Hashanah is still repentance season, while God is LONGSUFFERING, and awaiting the repentance; that is why the rapture cannot happen on Rosh Hashanah. However, the first trumpet which John heard, was the trumpet of Rosh Hashanah announcing the last ten days of repentance. And to one of these churches He says, “(Rev 3:8) Behold I HAVE SET BEFORE THEE AN OPEN DOOR, AND NO MAN CAN SHUT IT”. This open door is none other than the open door that constitutes the gates of heaven being open during the time period between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur! But it gets better for Philadelphia, because He says, during this period of time that the door is open, that (Rev 3:11) “Behold I COME QUICKLY… hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown”. Yes, He comes quickly, in fact within ten days of this judgment of the churches, and this coming happens to involve “crowns” or rewards (the rapture).

Rev 22:12 - And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

To the Laodiceans, He says He is about to spue them out of His mouth, (to spend some time in the coming tribulation years) because THEY SEE NO NEED TO REPENT. They see themselves as rich, increased in goods, and HAVING NEED OF NOTHING. To this church He says “behold I AM AT THE DOOR”. And “be zealous therefore, and REPENT”. If any man opens the door (of repentance), He states He will come in a sup with him (the marriage supper).

We should see hereafter, in the book of Revelation, pictures of Yom Kippur following upon this call to repentance, and sure enough that we do. The next thing John reports (and remember that John is a type of the bride of Christ) is that a door was opened (KJV), elsewhere, “a door standing open”, in heaven and he was called “up hither” by another voice of a trumpet. (Rev 4:1).

“Immediately” (the rapture) he found himself in heaven. This time he heard another “trumpet” (the last trump when we shall be changed in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye). And when he looked around, he saw a throne, and right after that the “24 elders”, who were wearing “crowns” – here are the crowns promised to those faithful Philadelphians…

Isaiah 26:2 - Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.

Psalm 118: 19-24 - Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD: This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter. I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation. The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. This is the LORD's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

What do these elders say? (Rev 5:9) “….and (He) has REDEEMED us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue and people, and nation.” A mixed horde here represented by 24 elders, and not just national Israel . But that is not the point, the point being that they had just been REDEEMED. What is Yom Kippur called? THE DAY OF REDEMPTION! (or Yom haPeduth). This day was the holiest day in the whole year for the Israelites, the day that the high priest entered into the Holy of Holies of the temple, the only day he went in there, and made atonement both for himself and for the people. Therefore Yom Kippur is also called the Day of Atonement. John sees that the Lamb as it had been slain, was found worthy to REDEEM those he sees in heaven. And also found worthy to open the judgment seals, or scroll of redemption, leading into the great tribulation. Jesus started His ministry on Yom Kippur, for we read that the Holy Spirit immediately took Him after His baptism out to the wilderness to be tempted by satan. In the Law, it states that after the priest atoned for the people, he chose a “scapegoat”, which was led into the wilderness, to carry away the sins of the people, and that a “goodly man” was to lead that goat there (a type of the Holy Spirit leading Christ into the wilderness as our scapegoat). It was also a jubilee year, as Jesus quoted Isaiah 61, that He had come to set the slaves free etc.

Now, on Yom Kippur, and at the jubilee year, the Great Trumpet was to be blown to bring in the jubilee year. Therefore, the trumpet which John heard when he was called up to heaven was the “trumpet of God” which calls us up, at the jubilee of the church, or rapture.

Now, we know from the scriptures that Christ has been made our “high priest” in heaven. Only, unlike the high priest on earth that entered the Holy of Holies once a year, we read in Hebrews:

Hebrews 9:21-28 - Moreover he (the high priest) sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Above is described the sacrifice of Christ, for us, as high priest in heaven, having redeemed us by His blood, as the 24 elders sing in their new song…. And now get verse 28…..”unto those that look for him, shall he appear THE SECOND TIME WITHOUT SIN UNTO SALVATION. This verse speaks also of Yom Kippur, the Atonement sacrifice, and THOSE OF US WHO LOOK FOR HIM TO APPEAR THE SECOND TIME as our high priest, to REDEEM us. FACE TO FACE

Another traditional name for Yom Kippur is “face to face”. We know that no man could ever see God and live; however, on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, the high priest would go into the Holy of Holies and be in God’s presence, or “face to face” with God. This was a most solemn moment, and the people were gripped with anxiety as the high priest was in there, waiting to see if God would accept the sacrifice. A bright cloud was over the mercy seat, at God’s presence in there.

Now, get this: Paul tells us:

1 Corinthians 13:12 - For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

Paul above speaks of something that only happens on Yom Kippur. AND: 2 Corinthians 3:18 - But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. Another close encounter above. But here’s the clincher.

When the high priest exited the Holy of Holies, the people breathed a huge collective sigh of relief, for from the VERY MOMENT when the high priest emerged from the Holy of Holies on the Day of Atonement, they knew that they were absolutely sinless and blameless before the Lord, and could set out upon yet another year of sin and hilarity, until the next year. LET US GO TO EPHESIANS 5:27 now: where Paul speaks of the mystery of Christ and the bridegroom, the church:

Ephesians 5:27 - That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish

There it is folks. We cannot be presented on Rosh Hashanah, which is WHILE WE ARE REFLECTING AND REPENTING, during the 40 days of repentance, but only after our High Priest, our Lord, “exits” the Holy of Holies (heaven), having secured our TOTAL AND COMPLETE REDEMPTION and ATONEMENT, thereby being able to present us to Himself as a spotless bride as in Ephesians 5:27 above. In Leviticus 25:9-11, we see that the year of the Jubilee, was to be healed in on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. And we know that the Jubilee year, was one of the REDEMPTION of lost property or rights, or indebtedness. The REDEMPTION (being redeemed by His blood sprinkled in the Holy of Holies before the Father) mentioned in the song of the 24 elders, speaks of this liberty, and rest, which we acquire at His coming. And, in Joel 2:12-16, it says:

Joel 2:12-16 - Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me (Sabbath of Return) with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil. (which He did for the Ninevites at Jonah’s 40 days’ call to repentance) Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God? Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast (Yom Kippur) , call a solemn assembly: Gather the people, sanctify (cleanse) the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

There’s those elders, on a fast day, when the bridegroom and bride emerge. This would indeed be the Jubilee of the church, and this

Jubilee can ONLY HAPPEN ON YOM KIPPUR as per Leviticus 25:8-13

Leviticus 25:8-13 - And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years. Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family. A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed. For it is the jubilee; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field. In the year of this jubilee ye shall return every man unto his possession.

And, Christ our Savior sacrificed Himself, for us, so that we may look forward to celebrating that Jubilee with Him: Hebrews 10:21-25 - And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

What day approaching? The day when our hearts are sprinkled with His blood (our High Priest) for Atonement, which is YOM KIPPUR.

RUTH

Now if you will bear with me for a short while longer I may enlarge upon this also.

In the story of Ruth, which we were God-bothering so much about last spring, we attempted to bring on the rapture happening “at midnight” when Ruth lay at the feet of Boaz, her redeemer, but to no avail. It’s a short and nice book to read for those of you who have not read it, now would be a good time to do that. But I shall not quote it directly so that I may be more general in my thoughts. First of all, Naomi urged her daughter-in-law Ruth to prepare herself (days of repentance) by washing, dressing, and anointing herself, prior to presenting herself at the feet of Boaz on the threshing floor. Naomi was a street-smart Jewess, who knew that the harvest festivals were upon them.

Ruth was around throughout the barley harvest “and to the wheat harvest”. That Boaz only had barley heaps on his floor was a stumbling block to us, for at that time we fancied ourselves to be “barley”, then “wheat”, and hoped to see ourselves somewhere in this story. Apparently Boaz hadn’t seen to his wheat harvest yet... and in fact Jesus said... ”the harvest is the end of the age”, and wheat will be part of this harvest, taken from the parable of the wheat and tares. Knowing that the fall feasts were approaching, Naomi wanted to see to Ruth’s “rest”….remember? (this is our millennial rest as bride of Christ) That is, that she might be “redeemed” by this “kinsman” in whose field Ruth happed. It is interesting that Naomi told Ruth to wait to lie at his feet, until he “has finished eating and drinking”. Now, why is this little detail here... remember, that there is a sumptuous feasting the day before Yom Kippur, because the next day is a fast day.

So, Ruth waited until he had eaten and drunk, and his heart was “merry” from the feasting. At midnight, Boaz stirs, (“at midnight a call was made – behold the bridegroom cometh”), and he awakens, and passes a complimentary judgment upon her, his bride to be (the judgment seat of Christ). Ruth returns to Naomi with the news of the threshing-floor encounter, early in the morning, bearing a gift of barley. Now, Naomi says, that Boaz will “not REST (bring in the millennial rest) until this thing be taken care of…”, that is the securing of the right to be a kinsman redeemer and acquire Ruth as bride in the process.

(the millennial rest or jubilee cannot occur until the redemption process is approved by the city’s elders). Boaz the next morning goes to the elders of the city and makes it all right, and REDEEMS Naomi’s property ( Israel ’s land and promises), and takes Ruth as his bride in the process.

Therefore, we come back now to the scene in heaven immediately after John is caught up to heaven (the rapture of the bride), and witnesses the Lamb being found WORTHY to open the seals of the book (the book of REDEMPTION), for in all cases of kinsman redeemers, the kinsman had to be found worthy by the city’s elders to open the scroll of the property rights of the purchased possession. We know that what Christ is redeeming here is all that was lost from the fall of Adam onward. That is why John cried when “no man could be found worthy to open the book…”.

And so it is, that the 24 elders could sing a NEW SONG, about redemption, and that redemption could only have occurred on YOM KIPPUR, and that spotless bride could have only been made spotless and without wrinkle, by the only one who could have done this on THE DAY OF REDEMPTION, or YOM KIPPUR.

So, until Yom Kippur comes and goes, I will not as yet concentrate upon the feast of Tabernacles……..it could well be that “after six days”, when Christ led Peter, James and John “up the mountain”, to see His transfiguration into His glorious body, that it was on Yom Kippur, for the disciples said, “shall we make tabernacles for you, and Moses and Elijah”, for tabernacles were built during the five days between Yom Kippur and the beginning of the feast of Tabernacles, and stocked with their harvest celebration decorations and provisions for the week.
And, if Yom Kippur comes and goes, you can be sure you will see how I will find all kinds of reasons that the Lord will return on the Feast of Tabernacles...

Importantly, we keep learning. The more we learn, the more we appreciate Him, and the majesty of His Word.

POSTSCRIPT TO MY YOM KIPPUR STUDY

And of course I leave out one of the most important scriptures, relating to the rapture on Yom Kippur, buried in this mass of notes. The "engagement or espousal gift" given to us, the church, was the "earnest of the Holy Spirit", or down-payment of that which would be made full later. Ruth was given six measures of barley, so that she would not return to Naomi without an espousal gift, or down payment from Boaz. With this earnest or partial offering of the Holy Spirit, we are "sealed" as the property of the betrothed Bridegroom, Christ. Paul tells us in Ephesians not to grieve the Holy Spirit........for we are sealed with this Spirit, until the DAY OF REDEMPTION, which is YOM KIPPUR. That's about as plain as it can be that the last day of this "partial" sealing of the Holy Spirit will be on YOM KIPPUR, for another name for Yom Kippur is: DAY OF REDEMPTION...... Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Why The True Church is Absent from Most of the Book of Revelation

By Helena Lehman
http://pillar-of-enoch.com

In this study, we will explore whether or not the True Church of all born-again believers is present during the seven years of the Tribulation and whether or not there will be a great revival of belief in Yahshua during the Tribulation period. The passages most often referred to as suggesting a huge revival or growth of the Church in the Tribulation is in Revelation, Chapter 7. Here are the passages that talk about these redeemed saints:

Revelation 7:9-17 - “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!’ All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying: ‘Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen.’ Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, ‘Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?’ And I said to him, ‘Sir, you know.’ So he said to me, ‘These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’”

Though, these passages could be talking about people who will live through all or most of the Tribulation, there is no proof of this. Instead, by specifically saying they “come out of” the Great Tribulation, it suggests that these saints are to be taken out of the Tribulation close to the beginning of it because they are believers that “have washed their robes… in the blood of the Lamb”, meaning that they believe in Yahshua’s substitutionary sacrifice for them that offers salvation and freedom from God’s Wrath! For this reason, they are to be spared from suffering through most of the 21 Judgments of the Tribulation, as these all constitute God's Wrath being poured out to varying degrees.

These Tribulation Saints are mentioned after the Six Seal Judgments are opened and after the Four Horsemen are released but before the Trumpets and Bowls of God’s Wrath are poured out. So it suggests that these saints “who come out of the Great Tribulation” will be taken up to Heaven before the Seventh Seal and First Trumpet Judgment is sounded. Some argue that “the Great Tribulation” refers only to the last half of the Tribulation, but I and many others see the entire seven-year period of Daniel’s 70th Week as greatly distressing! For this reason, most Bible Scholars including myself assume that the Tribulation Saints mentioned in Revelation, Chapter 7 will go up in the Rapture before any of the Seal Judgments are opened. This is suggested in Revelation Chapter 4, Verse 1 - when the door is opened in Heaven and a voice calls out: “Come up here!” before the First Seal is mentioned:

Revelation 4:1-2 - “After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, ‘Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.’ Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne.”

This passage leaves us to ponder why the Raptured saints are not mentioned as being in Heaven until after the Sixth Seal of Judgment is opened. There’s no doubt that it’s a bit of a mystery! Some people have suggested that some (but not all!) of the Raptured saints will remain on the Earth for a short time and will therefore see the first Seal Judgments opened over the Earth. Indeed, there is no reason to suggest that the Rapture cannot happen before this! If the Rapture does occur beforehand, though all the saints on Earth will be transformed into immortals with perfect bodies during that secret Rapture event, some of them may then be left behind or returned to Earth after a short interval and won’t return to Heaven until just before the First Trumpet Judgment is sounded. If this is true, these immortal saints would remain on the Earth until they are called back up to Heaven with the Two Witnesses in the middle of the Tribulation.

This belief ties in well with my notions about what could be the fate of the 144,000 Witnesses of Revelation. Is it possible that they will be Raptured but asked to return to Earth shortly afterward to witness to the unsaved masses and terrified new saints that will have to remain on the Earth during the first half of the Tribulation? See the following linked-to article to find out more about this possibility:

Who Are The 144,000 Witnesses of Revelation?
http://pillar-of-enoch.com/essays/index.html#Witnesses

So, though the first Rapture event will likely be a while before the Mid-Tribulation point when the Two Witnesses are to be killed, resurrected and taken up in a second Rapture event, it will likely NOT happen before the Tribulation begins but sometime shortly after that. Now, the Signs in the Heavens indicate that the Four Horsemen may not be released until sometime on or after December 21st, 2012, when there will be an amazing line-up of planets in the sky in conjunction with the Winter Solstice. On this Solstice, our Sun and the Earth will align with the galactic center of our own Milky Way Galaxy and six planets will target four specific Zodiac Signs that serve as allegorical representations of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. See the illustration below and my Pillar of Enoch Ministry web site at http://pillar-of-enoch.com to find out more about these amazing heavenly signs on the mysterious Mayan date marking the end of this age and the dawn of a new age.

Thus suggests that the first Rapture has to happen before the Winter Solstice in 2012. Though there is no way to know for sure, my guess is that the First Rapture will happen perhaps a year or more before then. Of course, this is conditional on whether or not we are moving into the seven-year Tribulation period this year as suggested by the prophecies in Hallel Psalms 110 through 118 and the 2010 year date in the Great Pyramid leading into the Antechamber, which signifies the Tribulation period. But only time will tell. So we need to keep our hearts ready for our Bridegroom's arrival at anytime even as we prepare to live through some tough times together for a short time.

Now, after the first Rapture has passed, the second Rapture event isn’t indicated until after all the Seal Judgments are opened and all but one Trumpet Judgment has been sounded. This Seventh or Last Trumpet of Revelation is blown just after the Two Witnesses are raised up and taken to Heaven with the same call of “Come up here!” used in Revelation, Chapter 4, Verse 1:

Revelation 11:11-15 - “Now after the three-and-a-half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, ‘Come up here.’ And they ascended to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them. In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand men were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven. The second woe is past. Behold, the third woe is coming quickly. Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, ‘The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!’”

The call of “Come up here!” in the above Scripture passage and in Revelation, Chapter 4 are sure indicators of a Rapture event due to the accompanying description of an ascension into Heaven that transpires each time this call is made. It is also important to note that the Church is mentioned in Chapters 2 and 3 of the Book of Revelation but is absent throughout the rest of the book until the last chapter (See Rev. 22:16). This suggests that the True Church will not be present in any real capacity during the entire Tribulation period.

Instead, the Church that will function in the Tribulation will only be the apostate branches of the Church. These are the churches outside of the little Church of Philadelphia that Yahshua promises: “I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world” (Rev. 3:10). Outside of this church and the church of the oppressed, imprisoned and martyred in Smyrna, Yahshua holds something against the other five churches mentioned in the letters (Rev. 2:4-5, 2:14-15, 2:20, 3:1-2, 3:15-16). Interestingly, the churches that are being threatened with having to live through the Tribulation equals five, the same number of “virgins” that are left behind and unable to attend the Wedding Feast in the Parable of the Ten Virgins.

However, since the True Church that consists of all the believers worldwide that are born-again and anxiously awaiting Yahshua’s return appears to be absent during the Tribulation, the churches that remain will not have the Spirit of God present within them. Due to this, any newly converted saints that are saved after the first and second Raptures will not be able to rely on any visible church for spiritual guidance or protection. As a result of this and their inability to buy and sell anything unless they take the Mark of the Beast and worship the Antichrist, those who wish to stay faithful to God will need to flee from civilized society. In fact, it is likely they will need to hide in the wilderness during the last half of the Tribulation to survive. This is suggested in the Book of Revelation here:

Revelation 12:5-6 - “She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.

The “She” in this highly allegorical passage is the nation of Israel and specifically refers to the Tribe of Judah or the Jews since Miriam, the mother of Yahshua, was a Jewess! The Child born to her was Yahshua, and all believers in Him are seen as a part of His Body. Now, not only is the Child Yahshua caught up to Heaven at His Ascension, but it suggests that the Church that is a part of His body will also be caught up before the Jews that are associated with the Woman. The Jews will have to remain on the Earth and hide in the wilderness, where they and any newly converted saints will be obliged to hide in places of safety that will be designated by God. These places of refuge will be divinely provided and protected by angels until Yahshua returns after 1,260 days (Rev. 12:6).

When 1,260 is divided by the 360 days of one prophetic year, it equals exactly three and a half years! This suggests that the remainder of the saints who love Christ will be taken up to Heaven in the Middle of the Tribulation and only Jews and new believers in Yahshua will be protected throughout the outpouring of God’s Wrath on the wicked in the last half of the Tribulation. If this is to be so, let us pray that we are counted worthy enough to be taken or transformed and returned in the first Rapture and not left behind to suffer with the unprotected heathens who will be left behind!

Amen and Maranatha!

AMAZING NEWS FLASH! THE RAPTURE COULD BE ON 9-11!

I just found this amazing link on a friend’s site at facebook and posted it to my wall after reading it:

http://theworldisshaking.blogspot.com/2010/09/amazing-realization-indicating-rapture.html

The article explains that the New Moon wasn't sighted until sunset on September 10th, at the beginning of the September 11th Sabbath in Jerusalem. This means that the second day of Rosh Hashanah began at sunset in Jerusalem on Saturday, September 11th, which is equivalent to 10:51 a.m.(CST) on September 11, 2010 for Americans. At that time, the Sabbath ended and the shofars were able to sound.

Could the Rapture therefore be today?

Video, New Moon of Yom Teruah 2010:

The New Moon was sighted at sunset in Jerusalem on September 10th! This means that today, 9-11, is the second day of Rosh Hashanah!

Are we in for a surprise before tomorrow morning? Could the heavenly Shofar sound tonight when then angels come to take us to be with Yahshua in Heaven?

It’s still possible, so keep looking up!

If not tonight though, don’t give up hope. Read my Pyramid causeway article and be encouraged!
